Me: OK…(goes to Koko to hug)

Mama: Good girl, Caitlynn

Me: Hug done.

Mama: Did you say sorry?

Me: Sorry…Koko…

Mama: Good job..

Me: Sorry..done.

Mama: ?!!

(At Auntie D’s house in the morning when Papa drops me off..)

Papa: Bye Caitlynn! Be a good girl now, OK?

Me: Buh-Bye Papa (waves..)

Papa: See you later today!

Me: OK…Buh-Bye done…

Sometimes when Papa carries me to the car, I would like to playfully have a chomp at the beautiful hibiscus flower in our garden…

Me: UM! (chomps at hibiscus)

Papa: Caitlynn….flowers are not food, OK?

Me: *giggles* UM!

Papa: UM! (chomps at me!)

Me: Papa!! Caitlynn not food also!!

Papa: Oh, ok…sorry…:-p

Whenever Koko Collin gets into trouble and is being scolded by Papa or Mama, I will be very quick to react, jump to the scene of the crime and proudly proclaim…

Me: MeiMei Caitlynn GOOD GIRL!!!!

Ain’t it funny how as a baby that spends most of the time lying down, everyone or everything rather, seems to look down at you? Sigh.

Don’t the adults have any idea how weird it is a position to see those baby stuff hanging down above your head, swaying back and forth as if they were gonna drop any time..?

Anyway, I guess I can’t do much at this stage so I might as well play along. I also heard that this play thing can eventually be converted to a playmat when I can finally turn myself over and an aquarium tunnel for me to crawl when I’m a little older….now, THAT is something worth looking out for! Hee!

I just can’t wait to grow up! Hmmmm….that didn’t sound right…:-p

My other theory is that the fish toys dangling above me is an indirect brain-washing technique to make me like to eat fish in the future. I deduced this when I saw Papa taking out a similar football toy to dangle before me as well…probably when i start kicking better….hee!

…when your name is added to Papa’s Scrabbled fridge wall…Yay me!

Ahhh….don’t you just love fishing?

When the atmosphere is quiet, the world is left behind, where there aren’t any distractions….

Just the sounds of the fishing net swaying back and forth in the pond, ripples in the water that stir without any sounds…just waiting for the fish to be caught…

Ahhhh…..this is just one of another great outdoor stuff we get to do in Ah Por’s house in Sitiawan…especially when the rain pours the night before and dampens the entire sandbox…:-P

Getting close to nature doesn’t come any closer than fishing…hee! (or perhaps diving when I’m a little older…hmmm)

Besides, fishes are not as scary as say, dogs or chickens too..:-P Frankly speaking, I think as long as the animal is smaller than me, I’m a-OK! Also, cooked fishes taste delicious too! Yum!

So, as minutes and hours wilt away in my fishing pond of solitude, the silence inspires my mind to reflect on many, many things…..like life, sleep, music, flowers, prunes, meat, etc… ahhhh….

UNTIL….

…Koko Collin decides to break the silence, the peace, the tranquility….hhhmmmmph!

No wonder all the fish are swimming away…sigh.

And then it gets worse…

Koko Collin decides he wants to have a hand in fishing too!

Ah well…after several minutes of screaming for help, I decided that there are many fishes in the pond after all…hehe…

Sigh….with homework, where can I find time to play or do other kidstuff?!!!! HOW?!!! Sigh…

And do you know what is worse that homework? Yeah, it’s the horrifying 4 letter ‘E’ word…

EXAM!

I have not even encountered one but I’m sweating just thinking about it already. Anyhoo, will keep you all updated if I can survive the upcoming exam later this week…*sweat*

When I heard from both Koko Collin and Jiejie Caitlynn about how difficult it was snap photos with our grandpas, I was rather surprised!

During my confinement period in Sitiawan, Ah Koong always found time to snap a picture or two with me!

Check out some of our so-called exclusive photos together!

Staying with Caleb and Mama in confinement really made me miss the many many privileges I had enjoyed when I was a baby…sigh.

One of those exclusive privileges is the apparent ‘royal’ treatment of being cradled to sleep to the soothing sounds of a lullaby or ‘ooh la la..’

Of course, with more adults hands available in Sitiawan, I was certainly pampered every now and then with an ‘ooh la la’ cradle to sleep. Hee!
