That day, we learnt all about a young boy named David, who battled and killed a mean giant named Goliath. I vaguely recall Papa reading to me something like that before but making craft about the story itself does help me to appreciate it more. Sorry Papa!

So, at the end of it all, I made (with a lot of Mama’s help) and brought home my first Sunday School craft – ‘figurines’ of David and Goliath. Cool eh?

Apart from the craft, I was also given a Sunday School book to take home. The book would eventually be filled with stickers of points for attendance, punctuality, participation, memory verses, etc. These guys in Sunday School really mean business, I tell you.

So, I also brought home my first Bible memory verse (of the week) to learn! And believe you me, Papa and Mama have been like sports coaches spurring me on to learn the verse throughout that week. Papa even put some tune to the verse and sings it to me in the car, before I sleep, when I bathe, etc. to really drill it into my head! He says memorising verses in songs would make it easier.

During our recent trip back in Ah Por and Ah Kung’s house in Sitiawan, I got acquainted with one of Koko Collin’s favourite toys from his past – Tad, the talking frog!

He is really one amazing toy! He counts numbers with me, sings with me, teaches me colours, and is also multi-lingual, switching effortlessly from English to French! And Tad doesn’t complain when I keep pressing and banging his chest to talk more stuff!

Now, I wonder if only Tad could turn into a prince…? Hmmmm

It’s a wonder how simple black and white pieces lined up can produce beautiful music when struck correctly with fingers..

Not my brother’s fingers though..hehe.

Anyway, our first duet probably won’t be good enough to cut any records too..:-p.

Can’t wait till my fingers are strong enough to make some music on the piano! Hee!

Whenever, something I see something scary, or when something intimidating rushes towards me, my first instinct would be on reflex cover my face with my hands in a way that they form a face armor.

Well, that’s the least I can do until my head is big enough to wear those face helmets…hee!

They could probably quote an example of symbiosis – Me and this ultra cool contraption called the TRAMPOLINE! I think I’ve found my soul mate, my partner,..;-D

I was overjoyed and overthrilled to find this in Ah Por’s house. Finally, something that is as bouncy as myself! Never tires like myself! How can you not love the trampoline?!!

Now that I’m back in KL, gotta figure out a way to get Papa to get one for me…:-D

Jump, jump jump! Wee!

Yay! It’s that time of the year where I can bring out that portable stick with a flag and swat it around dangerously. People will think me cute when I say the magic words…”Merdaka! Merdeka!” Hee !

By the way, I just found out it is the Malaysian flag. All this while, I thought it was the Merdeka flag…Hehe. Anyway, when I was in Ipoh and Ah Ma gave me some other type of flag (later I learnt it was the Singapore flag), I could also do the Merdeka chant….but Papa did give me some strange look then.

Anyway, I’m hoping Meimei can grow up real fast so that we can both have a Merdeka, er Malaysia flag fight whilst chanting those inspiring words – “Merdeka! Merdeka!”

Anyway, Kudeh Wei was also in town together with his friend jiejie MY, he offered to drive us all to the beach. Great to know it was not at all far from Ah Por’s house. Wee! Here are some of the pics taken at the Lumut beach..

When everyone (but me) were taking off their slippers and shoes when they saw sand, some red ant bit Koko Collin's foot...

...after that he was so scared of even touching the sand. Mama tried to calm him by letting the waves gently touch his hurting foot..

Koko Collin is now in paranoid stage over the sand...

..so Mama carried him back to 'safer' ground...

Fun wiping off sand on nice fluffy short grass...can't wait to do this soon! Hee!

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes! I’m already feeling much better today. Still got a bit of cough but I think my fever is gone! (hopefully forever…hehe).

I am able to smile and stand like usual now…:-D

Things I learnt from this harrowing episode:

1. When in early stages of flu, one can still go for the throat swab test….faster and cheaper too. In my case, it was either the full complete test (1 day result) or immediate treatment

2. H1N1 is no longer a pandemic, it’s now an endemic. END does sound more scary than PANDA but in essence it means there is no longer a need to quarantine someone with its symptoms or anyone with contact with the infected. It’s now (jeng jeng jeng) EVERYWHERE… so everyone just needs to practice personal hygiene and go see doctor when sick lor..

3. Tamiflu may sound cute but it is definitely NOT NICE to swallow…

4. Medicines are scary.

5. Papa, Mama and Koko Collin are great to have around, in sickness and in health! Hee!

6. God loves me and He answers prayers!
