For this Easter, Eggbert teamed up with the world renowned motivational guru to endangered food species Peter Cottontail to wish you a fantastic Easter!

Mr. Cottontail is a cute bunny.

And because he is cute, Mr. Cottontail has an incredible history of life where his profound cuteness allowed him to survive many life threat situations.

Been set to become a stuffed rabbit with cabbage in a french restaurant, he managed to disguise himself as a stuffed bunny and used his deep knowledge on cuteness to convince the owner to adopt him as a pet for his daughter.

Mr. Cottontail is a legend among the endangered food community.

And now Eggbert is trying to associate his image to other cute animals and things as a way to keep you from eating him. It's all very subliminal, you know?

So Happy Easter!

Current scientific research into native American food plants seems to indicate that the oldest food with the longest history of cultivation currently to be found on Brazilian plates is a root vegetable variously called MANdioquinha.

There really isn't a name in English for this root, so the Spanish term Arracacha is often used in English-language texts. The MANdioquinha plant was first cultivated in the highlands of the Andes Mountains and was introduced into the lower elevations of Brazil through native American trade routes.

After fame and fortune...

.... uh.... maybe not.

After being exposed to the internet and being despised by other eggs who consider his actions undignifying for a true honorable egg... comes Eggbert's first paternity test!

So far Eggbert's PR advisors refused to comment on the case but an inside source has assured us that Eggna Rock and Eggbert had indeed dated for a few weeks.

Eggna's father, the renowned family law attorney Gregg Rock, refuse to give us an official statement, only saying that "The baby looks eggxactly like him! Plus, we have eggcelent reasons to believe the paternity test will crack this case and eggspose Eggbert for the deviled egg he truly is. He will be totally fried."

Meanwhile rumours of offers for Eggna Rock to be part of a reality show as well as to pose for an adult meggazine are starting to spread....

Sid, the Squid

This is the story of a very peculiar Squid.

His name was Sid and all he wanted to do was to go visit Madrid.

But Sid lived amid some other squids were to leave the deep sea was strictly forbid.

For you see, all those other squids were constantly afraid of ending up in a grid where the final words they ever heard would be "Bon appétit!"

Yet, for Sid, who was an intrepid little squid that never liked to hid, not to explore the sea was an idea that was simply horrid.

To understand Sid, you must know that since he was a kid, all he ever wanted to be was a writer who would sell his books for just a few quids! Being born with 8 arms, 3 hearts and one sack full of ink, what else could he possibly be?

He loved to travel so he thought "Maybe if I go to Madrid I'll have a florid adventure that would end up being a splendid read!"

So despite all, off he went, Sid, the impavid squid, with a bag full of ink and three hearts full of dreams taking the time to write his first (and last!) advice to his fellow squids:

"I am a squid, not a stew and so are all of you! I will not lead a livid life, and neither should you! For if worrying with becoming part of the menu is all you do, you lose the chance to grown and thrive into something truly new. And for that I pity you, and bid you all Adieu!"

The Epic Journey of the Jedi Carr'ot!

We were taught that Jedi's were the guardians of peace and justice. And at some point or another, we all heard stories about Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, Yoda and even Mace Windu. (Come on, I know you watched at least one of the movies!)

But very little is known of the epic story of Daucus Carr'ot.

The only carrot Jedi that ever fought Darth Vader himself and won! (Well, actually the Jedi Council report technically considered it a 'tie') but Carr'ot himself swore he won! So let's just honor his memory by believing him.

His life was brief but glorious, and Carr'ot was a Jedi who knew his destiny and was determined to leave this world only after giving us two important messages:

1) That evil cannot win!

2) That you should always eat your vegetables!

... unfortunately that last message ended up costing his life since Yoda was incidentally very fond of midnight snacks that involved carrot cakes....

Still exploring the short lived Dinosaur era called the Plantzoic Period, we find ourselves now facing the good tempered Stegotatosaurus.

Even though paleontologists have declared that his brain was really small, just about the size of a walnut, I know, for a fact, that his kind heart has the size of the world!

And for all the other mean Veggiesaurus out there that would try to make fun of his brain size, he also had a fantastic aim and 4 huge dermal spikes ready to use just to remind them not to!
