The purpose of the workshop was to highlight the importance of an effective natural gas market, the current and future role of natural gas, and the adequacy and development of infrastructure. The importance and interest in these topics was confirmed by the presence of more than 120 participants.

By attending and cooperating at the workshop we were honoured by Italian and Hungarian state representatives, representatives of the ACER and Energy Agency as a national energy regulator, the Hungarian and Slovenian Energy Research Institute REKK representatives and representatives of all neighbouring transmission system operators.

In addition to the invited speakers and representatives of the company Plinovodi, the diversity of the participants significantly contributed to the visibility of the workshop. Among the attendees, there were also the representatives of system users, natural gas suppliers, balancing group leaders, representatives of the media and other stakeholders in the natural gas market. The demand for bidirectional flow between the Hungarian and Slovenian market, which in turn enables connection of the Hungarian and Italian market, will be assessed in the process of collecting non-binding indicators.

Your eventual non-binding indicators for the demand for transmission capacities in both directions between Hungarian and Slovenian transmission system should be made for periods (gas years) after 2023 and should in accordance with the Article 26(8) of the Regulation contain:

1. The amount of capacity or volumes of natural gas for which you indicate the demand,
2. Information on non-binding demand indications which were or will be submitted to other transmission system operators, in case such indications are linked to each other, such as demand for capacities at several related interconnection points.

We would like to emphasize that the submitted indications by the network users in no way represent a commitment of either the network users of the transmission system operators nor does it incur any costs. Its sole purpose is to assess the subsequent steps in compliance with the Regulation.

Plinovodi d.o.o. will publish in agreement with adjacent TSO FGSZ Ltd the results in a Demand Assessment Report (DAR) according with Articles 26 to 28 of the Regulation.

We kindly ask you to submit your non-binding indication by filling the attached form Capacity-Demand-Survey-2018 and return it to our email address SKR@plinovodi.si no later than October 3 2018.

With this, we would like to thank the bidders who have already submitted their indications until today, which will be included in DAR.

The amendment of the Agreement provides:

• the implementation of natural gas bi-direction transmission at Interconnection Point Rogatec;
• the modification of the shipper pair set up;
• the modification of the interruption of service and emergency operation.

Here follow the chapters of the Interconnection Agreement regarding the amended contents:

In the document are used abbreviations and definitions as follow:

• Direct Flow – means the commercial and/or physical gas flowing through the IP Rogatec from the Republic of Slovenia to the Republic of Croatia.
• Reverse Flow – means the commercial and/or physical gas flowing through the IP Rogatec from the Republic of Croatia to the Republic of Slovenia.
• Shipper – means a Plinovodi Shipper or Plinovodi Network user and/or a Plinacro Shipper or Plinacro Network user.
• OBA - Operational Balancing Account,
• IP – Interconnection Point.

In accordance with the provisions of art. 4.2 of INT NC, the Users can submit their comments to the mailbox pso@plinovodi.si, by the 15^th of August 2018.

From published data about reductions of transmission capacities in Austrian transmission system it is evident that main transmission limitations at interconnection point Murfeld/Ceršak will be in period from 31^st July 2018 (6:00) to 2^nd August 2018 (16:00), where GCA published 100% reduction of firm capacities on point Murfeld-Exit. Information about reductions is published also on web pages of Plinovodi d.o.o. in the area “Planned maintenance”.

Balancing group leaders (network users) are asked to consider the information about reductions of transmission capacities in their nominations for interconnection point Murfeld/Ceršak and match the quantity with their suppliers on Austrian side of interconnection point. All Balancing group leaders are also asked to ensure that their total daily nominated quantities at exit points are balanced with total daily nominated quantities at entry points also for mentioned reduction periods.
