Ok – let’s see what’s new this week:

1. GMail browser title bar tweaks

Turn on the title bar tweak from the Labs tab under settings and you will have something like this:

2. Multi select and progress for uploads

This is another great stuff introduced by Google in GMail, the ability to select multiple files for upload & see the upload progress for each one:

3. Import or Export your GMail Filters

If you are a GMail user I’m almost sure you are using the filters. It’s a great way to organize your email [this goes here and this goes there]. Well – from now on you can easily import/export your created filters.

Here are some other ideas for things you can do by importing and/or exporting your filters:

• Download all your filters. If you’re using POP or IMAP to get backup copies of your mail messages, now you can include your filters too.
• Share filters with other people. If you have a set of filters that is especially good at organizing particular kinds of mail that others also receive, you can now make those filters available to them.
• Temporarily “disable” a set of filters by exporting them and then deleting them. To “reenable” them, just re-import them from the file you exported.
• If you’re comfortable editing XML, you can make new filters that are similar to existing filters. Export the old ones, edit the resulting XML file, and import it back again. For more information about modifying these XML files, see Gmail Labs user group for Filter import/export.

4. Google Calendar goes Offline

2 days ago Google announced: “In addition to offline access to Gmail while you’re traveling or without a strong internet connection, you can now see your Google Calendar events when you’re disconnected. Offline Calendar lets you view your existing schedule and events, but not edit them, so you don’t have to print out calendars the night before a trip. This feature has been available to businesses and schools using Google Apps for about a month; we’re now turning it on for everyone.”.

So – that’s more than excellent ;)

5. Google Analytics for Flash [+ tutorial]

2 weeks ago [or something like this] Google launched the tracking of Flash applications from Google Analytics. A week ago, Matthew McNeely from InsideRIA has created a great step by step tutorial on how to integrate the Google Analytics tracking in your Flash – here is the link

If you are a programmer, you will love this little web application. As the description says, Snipt is a place when you can save all your code snippets.

Bugs and some small stuff I don’t quite like about it [+ some ideas]:

• I can only delete a snippet by clicking on “edit” first.
• I would really love to have the ability to delete multiple snippets or add a tag to multiple snippets.
• [BUG] when adding a new code snippet if I don’t add a tag it gives me a warning, but if I forgot to add the short description [or simply don’t want to add it] the snippet is not added to the database and no warning / info appears.
• When viewing the snippets, it will be excellent to choose between to view-modes: full snippet view & snippet title view – in this way the

Blokt is a downloadable Adobe AIR desktop application that is sure to put your problem solving skills to the test! Through a series of progressively difficult levels, you must slide the blocks to allow the red block to exit. Many levels will require multiple moves to bring the red block to freedom.

There are 2 version – a free version with only 10 levels available and a PRO version with 160 levels. I bought the PRO version and I really like it…

1. Cellsea Free Online Ringtone Maker

Cellsea it’s a website that has all kind of stuff for your mobile phone – one of these being a free online ringtone creator. I give it a try and it worked great. The ringtone sounds excellent [it’s on my phone already] and the UI it’s simple, clean and easy to use. You just need to let it load 100%.

IMPORTANT: to save the ringtone you must have an account. It’s free ;)

Formats supported: MP3, midi, wav, aiff, m4a, aac, mp4, wma, flv

2. The Unlocker Online Ringtone Creator

The Unlocker offers an online ringtone creator for free and you don’t need an account to save the ringtone to your mobile/pc.

3. Make Own Ringtone

Make Own Ringtone it’s a website specialized in ringtones. It doesn’t have anything else. Just a ringtone creator and a lot of options to use [by choosing the advanced mode]:

With it I encountered some errors, but I think the server was kind of busy when I test it.

4. ToneBee Online ringtone maker

ToneBee allows you to create and save ringtones, but, just like CellSea, you need to have an account.

If you load your MP3 file, make your selection and when you want to save you see an error like this don’t panic:

Now you can click on Save ;)

5. MyMusicRings

MyMusicRings has the classic MP3 upload function, and, an YouTube video to ringtone converter.

I didn’t like the User Interface, but… the YouTube feature it’s a really cool one.

What is ted?

ted can find episodes of any TV show you like to watch. Just add your favorite shows to ted and he will search for the newest episodes and downloads them for you. ted uses bittorrent and RSS technology to get you the newest episodes as fast as possible!

ted allows you to make a list with your favorite TV shows and it automatically searches for new episodes on a specified time interval. ted comes with a pretty big list of TV shows, but if you’re not satisfied with it, you can always add a new TV show.

The TV shows list also contains a description of the show, so it’s very easy to discover new cool TV shows :)

For each TV show you can choose from what episode number you want ted to start the download.

We’re making offline Gmail available to everyone who uses Gmail in US or UK English over the next couple of days, so if you don’t see it under the Labs tab yet, it should be there soon. Once you see it, just follow these steps to get started:

1. Click Settings and click the Labs tab.
2. Select Enable next to Offline Gmail.
3. Click Save Changes.
4. After your browser reloads, you’ll see a new "Offline^0.1" link in the upper righthand corner of your account, next to your username. Click this link to start the offline set up process and download Gears if you don’t already have it.
