After a year of providing daily app deals, PlusOne Apps is moving into the past.  It’s been a great year for apps and games on iOS.  And, there’s still a lot of excitement ahead.

We’re going to put our energy into En Route, our mobile location app (that’s our icon to the left).  Our prototype on the App Store has been a great source of insight and we are working on a new version, to be released in a few months.

Photo apps, man, they are falling off the trees like leaves in fall. Why? Well, there is a lot of copying and cloning going on. And, people love photos.

Tiny Review is novel, fun. Perhaps, it is awesome.  Check out their photo stream.

Glu’s Blood and Glory came to App Store’s worldwide this week. It’s an impressive game from every angle.

If you thought Epic’s Infinity Blade was gorgeous, you will be equally impressed.  The 3D graphics are top-notch. Game-play is easy to pick up and play and the available in-app content is extensive.

Your character wields a blade and shield. You battle the other fighters, one by one, slowing working your way up the chain, advancing your skills and weapons as you progress.

Some might think that Glu is copying Infinity Blade. But, let’s not forget that Glu’s Super KO Boxing game has a very similar control scheme and game format as Blood and Glory.

Blood and Glory is available on all iOS devices, it’s free with in-app purchases. To those who hate on freemium games, there is plenty of game-play without having to spend a cent.
