Needs to Buy a New Laptop

I owned a laptop a few months ago. I sold it because of financial reasons. Now, I wanted to buy another one because our PC has become too crowded for us. My husband uses it and so does my two children. Aside from that, I could not blog if I travel.

So, I decided to save money for a laptop. I want to buy another one that will be used purely for my business and nothing else. No games so that the husband and the children will not interrupt me. LOL!!

Christmas Tree is Up!

Christmas is already near. People around the world are busy with their Christmas decorations. In the US, I am sure they are planning to pick-up their pine trees any moment while people here in our place are busy forming back their artificial Christmas trees.

Well, as for me, my artificial Christmas tree was already up last October but it doesn’t have any decorations. Now, it has few Christmas balls and lights. I am planning to buy more decorations in the next few weeks so that when Christmas Day comes, my tree will look pretty and bright!!

I have been very busy lately, not because of my online career but of taking care of my 1 month old baby. She is breastfed that is why I could not just leave her unattended. I need to respond to her needs immediately especially when she cries for milk.

Anyway, our room is quite small. So sometimes I get crowded by many things, making me busier in arranging things while taking care of her. That is why I am planning to buy a small Tulip Table so that I can put all these things in one place. By that I should not need to clean and arrange all the time while taking care of the baby thus making me less busy. ^_^

Looking for a Job

I have been in rough times lately, both emotional and financial. That is why I have been contemplating of applying for a job. Though I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom, some circumstances have called for me of getting an 8 to 12 hour job. As for now, it seems to be the reasonable way to solve some of my problems.

Today, I made some admin job search and so as for entry-level openings. I searched for any job openings as long as they are legal and related to by job experience. If God is willing, I hope I can find that will suit me. No matter how much the pay is, I need an avenue to release my creativity and to solve some of my pending problems.

Dream Bed Come True

When I was a child, I really dream of sleeping in my very own bed with the most comfortable mattress. Unfortunately, my parents were not able to afford. Instead of sulking of our status in life, I accepted my fate. Then I said to myself that someday I will go to sleep in one.

Well, I did! Finally after 30 years in this world, I was able to finally sleep in one. Last month we went to canvass for mattresses and eventually bought a queen size mattress. Now, I am able to sleep in my dream bed together with my children at most times. I am thankful for that.

Rely on Him

"For, "All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord stands forever." And this is the word that was preached to you." (1 Peter 1:24-25)

This verse really holds true. Many great people have come and all of them rise to fame, power and prestige but none of them have lived forever. Many books have become bestsellers but none of them are still in constant production. Everything here on earth can be famous but they don't last like Jesus Christ - the Word of Lord. They are all temporary and fading.

So, if you want to seek advice or place your trust, don't rely on people...don't rely on books but have faith in God. That is the lesson I learned the hard way. I have already experienced God's kindness but sometimes I rely on people which of course ended in disappointment. It is like having a motorhome insurance but you still prefer to fix it. You spend countless of hours solving the problem when you can have others do it for you for free since your insured. You rely on your own strength rather than trusting Him.

There are many opportunity to earn money online. You can still be hired by companies even if you are at home. And just as the same, these companies require credentials for you to present as a support to your capabilities. But the question is? Old Age and the Future

When I was still working, I decided to avail of a life insurance because I wanted to prepare the future of my children. So, I requested for a life insurance quote to a company located near the office where I worked before. I liked their terms and conditions that is why I asked for an application form. Unfortunately, after a few weeks, I have decided to resign from work. That is the reason why I was not able to pursue it.

Now, my mom is telling me that I should start rethinking about these things. She said that I must learn from her mistake. She is now 61 years old and have not prepared, not for her old age nor us. I told her that she should not worry about herself since I am still here to take care of her when she grows very old. I am very much willing to be with her.

As for my future, I lay them down to God. I know that if I seek Him first…everything will just follow!

Why Women Cry

When I was in high school, I really dreamt of wearing a Mary Jane shoes. But since my parents could not afford to buy me new shoes every school year, I just admire my classmates who wear them. Now, I still wanted to buy one. I especially admired Dansko Women’s Diana Mary Jane. It looks simple but since it’s made of pure leather, I believe it’s durable.

Anyway, I already bought a Mary Jane school shoes for my daughter. She seems to like it OK but not as much as I do when I was younger.

No More Dream Transportation

A few months ago I have blogged about our dream transportation. Well, I was really hoping that we will be getting it this November 2009 since I already put in mind that I will be in-charge of buying the car accessories to decorate it. But some unexpected thing happened; the money that was supposed to be used to pay for the down payment was released earlier. Since we had immediate financial obligations to be paid, we decided to use the money and pay them off.

Now, our dream transportation might be delayed till next year maybe. We are now not sure…

Wearing My Old Clothes

Now that I have given birth, I am trying to wear my old pants. Unfortunately, they are not like some equestrian apparel that is stretchable. I have to force them to close up leaving me gasping for air to breath. So my mom told me to be patient, she said in few months time I will be able to wear them with ease again. She said I should not force myself especially I have not yet reached one month since the day I gave birth.

Oh well, I guess I am just excited to wear my old clothes back!

Belly Fats!

As I mentioned before, I am slim figured but because I just gave birth, I have belly fat to show off. Now, my body looks like it’s not proportioned. Does anyone of you know how to lose belly fat fast? Well, I am not vain about it but at least I would look and feel healthy if my tummy is toned back to its normal size!

Got Sick

I just have recovered from a fever for almost five days. At first, I didn’t know what was causing my fever. The doctor it might be from my breastmilk but I was beginning to doubt since I don’t have much milk that might cause me to engorge. My fever was so high that every time I take a medicine, I sweat like I am took some fat burner to get rid of unwanted fats. So the doctor recommended me to get a lab test since I get pain sometimes when I urinate.

After two days, I found out that I have a urinary tract infection again. This time after drinking some antibiotics, I got healed from my fever. Thank God for the healing!! Now, I am still on treatment, so please bear with me when I am offline most of the time.

Sleepless Nights

As I gave birth to my third child, I am again facing a ton load of sleepless nights. My baby is always awake during dawn. And when she is awake, she wants to be carried and held until she sleeps. When I put her down, she wakes up!

I just wonder if I can use acne products to treat these red spots starting to sprout at my face since I am breastfeeding. Do you think it’s against lactating mom to use this kind of products? What do you think?

Every time I visit the hospital with my second child, Johann David, he is always curious in everything he sees. He asks about the pictures posted in the walls or the medical gadgets. He was fascinated with the many medical gadgets he saw like AED (automated external defibrillator) which is an automatic portable electronic gadget that diagnoses the potentially life threatening cardiac arrhythmias of ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia in a patient. It helps the heart return to normal rhythmic pattern. He is also interested in many other things, so every time I am with him, questions over flow. He is indeed a naturally born curious child.

Gave Birth to My Third Baby!

This stay at home mommy was offline for quite some time. Why? Well, I just gave birth to my third bundle of joy last week!! Yup, thank God for a normal and safe delivery. Praise God!

I was in the hospital for about three days and two nights. I gave birth last Wednesday evening, September 23 and was discharged last Friday afternoon, September 25. While in the hospital, I spent around six hours in the labor room and less than an hour at the delivery table. The rest was spent inside my room recuperating from the efforts exerted while laboring and giving birth to my new precious gift!

Anyway, I was so thankful that God has been so gracious and ever so faithful for answering our prayers and providing us our needs. Indeed He is the Jehovah Jireh!!

Old School Way of Staying Healthy

I am not really a health enthusiast but if God-willing, I want to own a treadmill. Not the complicated one but the simple one where I can just walk safely. I mean not that because I am pregnant but just enough for me gain shape and stay healthy after I give birth this month. I still believe that the old school of getting healthy is through a balanced diet and regular exercise.

Plans to Buy Our Dream Vehicle

God willing, my husband and I plans to buy our very own family transportation via installment this coming November. Actually, we don’t have plans to get one immediately but because of our growing family, our transportation expenses have multiplied. Besides, our favorite means of transportation, a trisikad, could no longer accommodate the four of us plus my mom and our baby coming soon any moment. It would take two trisikad which means we will be paying more than 100 pesos back and forth.

So, to save up from expenses and to guarantee family safety, we decided that buying a multicab can really help us out. Well, at first it will be very expensive since we need to get ourselves some driver’s license and also register the vehicle and get some car insurance. Aside from that, we will have a monthly payment to accomplish since we will get it on an installment plan.

Anyway, the plan does not really end there but we are planning to use the vehicle for other business endeavors. My mom wanted to buy banana from nearby plantations so that she could have them in a cheaper price thus boosts her profitability with the business she has in mind.

So, at least, if we get transportation, it will not be a plain liability but an asset also!

Badly Needs Re-Calibration and Cleaning

It’s been months since I have visited my dentist. And to be honest, my braces needs to be re-calibrated badly and so as my teeth requires some major cleaning! The reason why I haven’t been to the dentist is that I have been busy traveling to my hometown, back and forth, then later moving from one home to another, and lastly, lack of budget! Actually, the major reason is that we don’t have enough financial resources to help prioritize my teeth.

Oh well, I guess some priorities have to be accomplished first before anything else. If I were that financially capable, I would not just visit some ordinary dentist. I would surely get some southpark dentist to take care of my teeth. ^_^

But of course, God supplies our needs and not our wants that is why I am still thankful to Him for always taking care of me and my family!

Halloween Parties

Though it’s already the “BER” months, we can’t help but think about another event prior to Christmas – Halloween! In the US, it is celebrated as a fun-filled and scary party with all the trick and treats. While here in our place, it is considered a solemn and scary day but not for long since many are slowly adopting the western style.

Just the other day, I saw Halloween party invitations being posted all over the blogs of my friends who are Philippine based bloggers. They will have a costume party with fun games and surprises, kids are invited to the event too! Isn’t that amazing?!

Anyway, I wish there is a local Halloween party event here at our place too. I would surely love to participate and bring my children with me. ^_^

A Fleeting Shadow

Every time I fly over a large body of water, I imagine opening the window of the jet and pouring out my coffee into the immense body of water below.

I imagine the time that I spend on this earth compared to eternity is no more than that cup of coffee. The incredible size of the ocean compared to one small cup of coffee is what our life is like compared to eternity.

Why then do we invest so much in temporal pursuits when we know that our investment here can have so much impact on our eternity?

It is the great paradox of human behavior, especially for Christians.

Does your life have an overall ministry objective to it?

This does not mean we must be constantly involved in "Christian activity." It only means that we should be about what God has called us to do with the motive of being obedient to this mission.

Do not let the worries and cares of this life keep you from having an eternal impact on the lives of those you meet each day.

Satan has a way of keeping our focus on the problems of today rather than the spiritual opportunities before us. He is master of the urgent, not the important.

"Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain" (1 Corinthians 15:58).

I have been active with FaceBook lately not because I am busy looking for my friends and family there to connect but I have been actively farming! Yup, I have been farming, not the actual farm thing, but eventually playing almost all farming game applications!
