As much as possible, I try my best to make my post very dramatic and appealing by placing pictures, clipart images, digital scrapping works and others. I believe that if you place an image, it can help your message get across more intensely.

But of course, there is no problem if you place pictures that are personally taken by you or any of your family members or any digital scrapping works made by you. The problem comes when you have no images to use and if you use some from the internet, you might end up with a copyright infringement. So, what is the best thing to do? Create your own? What if you don’t know how?

Fear not! If you are just resourceful, you can grab as many pictures as you want for FREE. They are many sites that offer free photo sharing. One of these sites that I love to grab photos from is at www.picuna.com. They have plenty of images shared by members. These photos are then categories.

Photos or images uploaded at www.picuna.com are categories as Abstract & Surreal, Animals & Pets, Anime, Architecture, Art, Backgrounds, Celebrities, Character, Conceptual, Event, Family & Friends, Fan Pictures, Fashion, Food & Beverage, Funny, Gaming, Greetings, Home & Garden, Just For Fun, Lifestyle, Love, Macro, Music , Nature, News, Object, People, Political, Quotes & Sayings, Religious, Scenes, School & University, Space, Sports, Transportation, Travel, TV & Movies, and Urban & Rural. So, if you need a photo or images of any of those following categories mentioned, surely you can grab one for free at their site. All you need to do is register for free! Registration will just take a few minutes.

By the way, you can upload photos or images too, make sure they are your own and not copyrighted. You also need to make sure that you allow other members to use yours since its part of the free photo photo sharing terms and conditions.

Weight Loss Secrets

Most of the time people ask me why I am so slim despite the fact that I have two children, 9 and 5, and currently seven months pregnant. Well, I wish I could answer them directly with a product recommendation, a diet or an exercise routine but unfortunately, I have nothing to say but I was born this way. When I was conscious with waistlines, I remember documenting it to be 22 inches when I was about 16 years old. And before I got pregnant, I had 28 inches.

Well anyway, I tried to research some facts on how to maintain a slim figure or lose weight. Here are some of the points that I have found:
1. Eat a balance diet.
2. Exercise regularly.
3. Try taking weight loss pills (but before taking one, read diet pill reviews – example: apidexin reviews) under a doctor’s supervision.
4. Self-control – the most important one!

They are only four but they have been proven effective for many years already and also hard to do if you don’t have number four!

So, if you have weight loss issues, try doing number one to four. You will lose weight in no time!

Invitations and Wedding Party Favors

A few months ago, my husband and I talked about renewing our vows on our 10th Wedding Anniversary. He said he wanted to see me wearing a wedding gown. He wants a wedding scenario but minus the other things a normal wedding should have.

Anyway, I also said that I really loved the idea but even if there would be no bridesmaid or maid of honors or video coverage. I would love to send invitations and give out wedding party favors after the ceremony. At least my guest will have souvenirs after our renewing of vows.

So, my husband said that we will talk about it. Maybe miracles will happen and we can insert it if we have a budget. After he told me that, I immediately search for sites that can help me with this. Wish List Page

Every time I visit other blogs, I sometimes bump into a wish list page of the blogger. Within that page, the blogger lists all the things she or he might want to have in the future. Example, the blogger wants a heart pendant necklace, so she or he writes it in the wish list page and edit as she or he acquires it and so as for the other things listed there.

As for me, I am planning to make a wish list myself. I mean, it’s not being materialistic but I wanted to have a tangible list of the things I wanted to accomplish so that I will be reminded and remain focus on achieving it.

Anyway, if I do start making one, I think a digital camera will be on the top 5. As a blogger by profession, I think a digital camera is very essential. Besides, you need digital photos to scrap. What will I scrap if I don’t have digital pictures taken, right?

A Long Call About My Credit Standings

I was not able to sleep last night. I was very busy updating the blog my husband and I co-authored. So, around 9AM, I decided to take a short nap just to revive my energy. Well, I didn’t expect a super short nap but I was awakened by my father. He called me up and gave me a long talk about my mother, my life, my mistakes and my credit card problems.

The call lasted almost 30 minutes and I was beginning to imagine that I was talking to a credit counseling company because of all the advices that he was giving me about my financial situation and credit standings. That is not unusual of my father because he always does that when he calls me but I was so sleepy that my brain was not properly hearing him anymore.

Anyway, I was glad that his mobile phone lost power and the call was ended. Now, I can go back to sleep. I badly need to catch up some nap before today’s big event.

Acne Galore

Since I have been awake until the wee hours of dawn, I am not surprised that some acne spots have sprouted back again at my face. Aside from that, I am having too much stress that I don’t know why I have survived for the past few weeks!

Anyway, I really felt so ugly right now. Most of the time, I felt insecure about how I look. That is why sometimes, I spend countless time searching for a top acne treatment that is suitable for pregnant women. I want to get rid of these acne spots. Somehow having a clear looking face would suffice to lower my insecurities right now.

Do you have anything to recommend? Or do I need to go to a dermatologist to get a prescription?

Clothes for My Birthday

Just awhile ago, I talked about my birthday and that I am not that excited. Well, one of the reasons is maybe because I have lost hope of receiving a present from the people I loved. Most of them have taken me for granted and they expect that I would understand if they have nothing to give to me even the slightest greet card.

I am planning to give myself a present. I have been buying things for my husband and the children whole year round. Most of the time when I have money, I always think of making them happy first by buying the things they want then later forgets that I need to buy something for myself.

Anyway, I am planning to buy a new set of clothes. I saw a lot of modest clothing for women from the brand Tabeez. It seems to me that their designs are fashionable and worth a try. Though I have one problem, I am currently pregnant and I guess it’s hard for me to predict my size after I give birth. I don’t usually gain weight after birth but I can say so now since my body has grown mature. We don’t know what physical changes might happen if I am already 30 years old!

Birthday is Near but I'm Not Excited

Today is July 1, 2009. A few days more and I will be turning 30 years old. That means I have one year to go before I jump out of the calendar!

Oh well, I am not excited with my birthday. Usually nothing happens during that day, everyone in the family including me almost treat it as a normal day because we usually don’t have money to celebrate.

Anyway, even if we don’t have money to celebrate, I just hope and pray that I will have a good health. My only wish is to deliver this baby I am carrying right now safely and that we have enough funds to cover for our hospitalization. Though we already have started saving, we haven’t reach 50% of the expected amount needed to be used for our baby’s forth coming arrival. That is why I am always stressed in finding ways how we can save up before she arrives when we have a lot of financial obligations to pay along the way.

I just pray God will provide for us!

On Digital Cameras and Camcorders

Aside from dreaming of having a new digital camera, I am also hoping to have some affordable camcorders. Getting a snapshot of life’s memories is great but of course, it is also nice to have some moving memories stored for future family enjoyment. Besides, having a personal camcorder can also give you a chance to join video contests online which of course give bountiful prizes!

Oh well, I am planning to buy an affordable digital camera that can somehow record at least 10 minutes of moving memories. I think 10 minutes is sometimes enough when you don’t have the present resources. ^_^

Credit Card Updates

If you are wondering what happened with my credit card problem, well, I am not yet finished with the battle. Though I have finished one credit card down and got a reconstruction with the other one, I still have to arrange my problem with another one that I am planning to close down.

Aside from that, I am also having problems with my ISP account from my hometown. So, I am again facing another financial problem that has gone haywire! Anyway, I am just hoping that this third credit card that I am planning to close down can offer me something very flexible in terms of my repayment scheme. If not, I think I need to find someone or somebody that can help me avail a debt consolidation program something like those offered by DebtConsolidation.com! Their offer seems to be very friendly to people like me who are having problems repaying debts.

Digital Scrapping Hiatus

If you have noticed, my FREEBIE FINDS post have become so limited lately. Why? Because I have been very busy with my children (preparing them for school), my home (doing basic household chores because I can’t accomplish all) and trying to organize my work online! So, I am always busy that I can no longer scrap. *Sob! Sob! Sob!*

Anyway, I really wanted to start scrapping my first picture (ultrasound) of my third baby. But unfortunately, I don’t have much time to do it and so as to find freebies that would suit my new baby girls’ scrapping mementos. And that is sometimes making me so frustrated! I can’t even practice my digital scrapping hobbies and even learn new techniques!

Oh well, I guess I need to wait until I can find a new house help. I will be in digital scrapping hiatus until I found one!

Planning to Buy our Own Home

Since my husband and I have decided to permanently live here in Bacolod, we are already checking out the current home mortgage rates here. Unfortunately, we need to visit the offices personally because the current rates are not accessible online unlike in the US.

I hope we will find something that is affordable so that we will have no problem repaying our mortgage loans. I am also looking for a nice subdivision where we shall avail it! House hunting is really exciting especially it’s going to be your own home soon!

Furniture Musings

When we transferred to our new apartment last April 2009, my husband and I bought a set of bamboo living room furniture. It was really affordable and simply designed. But, that was only our choice at that moment since our money was very limited.

Anyway, if we had the resources, we would have probably bought a set of rustic furniture. They are more sturdy and comfortable looking like the picture shown here which I got from www.scenicfurniture.com. It looks very beautiful and comfortable.

How about you? Do you like rustic furniture too?

Cable or Direct TV?

Just this afternoon as I ran some errands, my son and I were able to pass by our old cable company. I asked what the requirements to reinstate my account with them are. I got my account closed last year because I went back to my hometown. Because by that time, I was not sure that I will be back here so I ordered a permanent disconnection. Anyway, they informed me that there are no requirements at all. I just need to apply for it again at their main office. Once processed, they will have it installed again in few days.

Well, I just inquired about it because having a cable at home would really save us money from buying DVDs. But I also wondered if there are great Direct TV offers here at our place. I have read in many blogs that in the US, direct TV packages are a hit! Aside from the quality reception, it has more channels for the whole family at a reasonable price.

Anyway, I think I need to inquire about it. I saw a directtv signage near a snack chain somewhere downtown. Maybe they have good rates that can be compared with the direct tv packages their US affiliates has. If it’s cheaper, I guess that would be a good choice to make instead of reinstalling our old cable account.

I am really fond of plurk and twitter. They are a new way of updating your friends with your current status in few words. Oh well, I was really having fun with my new twitter account since I made one for personal use only. I follow the tweets of my friends and not of business related messages.

Anyway, one of my friends tweet said that she was given a bottle of Lipovox. Then she asked if she is that really fat that she should be given a diet pill! It was very comic because I haven’t seen her personally and I couldn’t really tell. I guess that is the power behind internet technology. You can have many friends without actually seeing them in person!

Keyless Lock

When I was still working, my previous company has installed a biometric DTR. This is to make sure that the employees are not making work hour anomalies and that no one is punching other’s DTR punch cards. Biometric uses finger prints as a way to recognize a person.

Just lately, I have stumbled upon a website that sells door knobs that uses a keyless lock. That means, instead of keys, they use biometric technology to open/close! Do you think it’s cool to have a keyless lock installed at your house? Well, if technology is concerned, I think it’s really cool to have a biometric door knob installed. You don’t have to worry if you forget to bring the keys because definitely you won’t overlook to bring your finger! But some has issues with this, they are afraid to install a keyless lock because they feared that someone might cut their finger off just to steal from them. They have all this gruesome scenarios in mind which prevented them from this new technology.

Anyway, how about you? Do you like to have one installed in your homes?

Seeing Hope Amidst Everything!

I really enjoyed my life as a stay-at-home mom. Aside from having more time with the kids, I get to earn online. But I do regret just one, and that is when I resigned from work I brought with me my credit card debts!

To be honest, my income online plus my husband salary is enough to cover our needs and few wants but because of our credit card debts we are always faced with a lot of financially difficulties. Just to cope up, my husband always avails of every payday loans their company has to offer if ever he is eligible. From that, he has tasked me to be the financial officer of the family. I do the entire budget and they (my husband and my children) just tell me what they need.

Now, though I am really stressed out with our financially problems, I am just hopeful that God will provide a way for us. I pray for wisdom to solve our current problems and self-control to avoid getting back to the debt trap. Anyway, I can see God’s hand moving in our life right now. I can see solutions opening little by little, surely we will see through all of this soon!

Every family has their own dreams and one of those is having a house of their own. And we are not that different from any regular family, my husband and I have been thinking a lot of getting our own. We are not yet too sure where we will build it if we want to have it from scratch or from what subdivision to buy if we are going to buy a ready-made one. It’s either here or back at our hometown.

Hoping for an Immediate Help

For my past few posts, I have been talking about my credit card problems. Out of my four credit cards, only one is updated. I am planning to maintain this card because aside from the low interest fees and late payment a charge, my credit limit with them is only 15,000 thousand - an amount that I can really manage to pay as of the moment.

Anyway, one of the three that I am planning to close my account with will be ending soon. As of the moment, I only owe them around 3,400 but they have only given me until Thursday to completely pay them off before they charge me all over again! I wish I could avail of a cash advance loan to completely pay them off immediately but I am not bankable anymore as of the moment.

Oh well, I just hope I can borrow from my family or friends for that certain amount. Besides, I have incoming funds but they will not arrive this week! :(
