When my children and I were in my hometown and their father was left here in Bacolod, the only means of communication was through live chat. We communicated using Yahoo Messenger. Though communication is convenient for us using live chat, I still preferred the old school way of doing things. That is why I never wanted for my husband to work abroad. I am not at ease with the fact that we live separately.

How about you? Are you at ease with talking online only?

I have been browsing for Amazon books lately. I have been thinking maybe I should buy myself at least one this Christmas. As you know, I really love books, not novels but self-help, business, parenting, marriage and Christianity related kind. Though there are many e-books already, I still prefer hardcopies. I still believe that nothing beats the feel of reading hardcopies than softcopies.

So, what would be a good book this year?

Guess what?! We are thinking of moving again. Why? Because we find the environment we live in not safe for the whole family. Aside from that, the house is falling apart and the landlord is not doing anything about it. Instead of looking for conflict, it’s better to look for a better place to live in an environment that is safe for everyone. Not as beautiful as the houses at Outer Banks beach rentals but enough to keep the children safe.

Anyway, I think if we keep on moving like this, we will be masters of home moving. LOL!!

Want to Watch Pacquiao vs Cotto Fight

A few days from now will be the much awaited fight between Manny Pacquiao vs Miguel Cotto. This will happen on November 14, 2009 (Pacific Standard Time) from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas Nevada. Everyone is excited who’s going to win the fight.

I am so excited to watch the fight too but we don’t have a clear source here. I was planning to get a direct TV that is why I looked for satellite television providers. I found one here but not that good compared to the satellite tv providers in the US. They only offer 20 HD channels at a very expensive rate, not to mention the installation fee and all. If I add more channels that means I need more money for all.

Unlike the satellite tv provider from the US, www.directsattv.com, they offer 95 HD channels for only $9.99. I wish that the local company here will have the same kind of offer. I think they are being sharks because they don’t have any competition yet.

Anyway, I think I will be watching the fight at a local channels and persevere with all those commercial breaks. :(

Acne Breakouts

Having a clear and blemish free face was my goal when I was in my high school years. But because of a massive acne breakout and lack of knowledge, I was survived with few scars in my face which are all visible up to this day.

Anyway, if only I were introduced to best acne treatments in the market back then, maybe I should have not gotten these ugly scars. But of course, it’s too late to cry over spilled milk. That’s why I am now committed to help my children fight puberty changes. I will prepare them on how to deal with acne breakouts so that they will have clear and blemish free faces. This is the only thing I can do to prevent them from having scars like mine.

Every time I read a newspaper ad on life insurance, I always get the quote “life insurance no exam guaranteed!” I really wonder why they would emphasize that not until a friend explained it to me. She said that most life insurance company conducts a medical exam to ensure that the client they are insuring is healthy, for short will not die during the paying period or in the next few years. This will assure the company that the client is not just buying an insurance policy just to have benefits secured for the family since he or she is already dying. The company must ensure that they will gainfully benefit from the premium.

On the other hand, some company risk themselves by giving no medical exam on clients but they give off lower benefits or higher premiums. This of course depends on the client. Both kind of life insurances give the same benefits.

Fixing My Teeth

As I have mentioned before, I have a bugs bunny teeth. When I was a bit younger, I really wanted to have it fixed but unfortunately my parents could not afford them. It was my desire to have a bright smile with aligned teeth.

Now, I have braces to fix my upper two front teeth. Though I didn’t get it from a Plano cosmetic dentist, it is enough to get the job done. After this, I will have my lower teeth done that of course if I have the resources. As of now, my priority is our family’s need.

Dreaming to Visit the United States

One of my biggest dreams is to visit the United States of America. Just to be specific, I want to visit New York NY, Orlando FL, Los Angeles CA, New Orleans LA and many more. I want to visit their beaches, entertainment park and historic sites. Aside from that, I want to experience SNOW!

Anyway, I hope that someday I will be able to fulfill my dream especially with the whole family with me. I don’t know how or when but I wish to visit the US someday. Hopefully God-willing!

Wearing Sunglasses

When I was a teenager, I was not fond of wearing sunglasses. I considered my face too small to be wearing one. I felt that if I wear one it would cover my entire face.

As I grew older, I came to appreciate fashion and the use of accessories. I started wearing eyeglasses not basically for fashion purposes but for eye protection. I wanted to wear at least 99% UV protection sunglasses to prevent damage in my eyes no matter what the season is. I also prefer lightweight, durable frames sunglasses because I don’t want to feel heavy in my face. Aside from that, I am budget conscious and I don’t want to wear something that breaks easily.

Anyway, here are some pictures of me wearing sunglasses. I don’t look pretty but at least I love taking pictures of me wearing one because it covers my eye bags – the thing that I don’t want to reveal.

Feeling of Inadequacy

I am currently breastfeeding my third child. Unfortunately, I felt so inadequate in providing milk for my baby. Just the other day, I was tempted to give her two bottles of formula because she was frantically crying. It made me feel bad inside. I felt guilty of not eating the right amount of food for her. Sometimes when I am in front of the dining table, I felt like not eating as if I was taking diet pills.

Anyway, I didn’t give my baby formula today. I let her drink milk from me. I don’t know if she is getting much but I will know this coming Monday as we will be visiting her doctor. I hope she is gaining weight even I felt inadequate to provide her needs.

Home Insurance & Others After Ondoy

The aftermath of typhoon Ondoy (Ketsana) is very devastating. Many properties like homes, cars, appliances and many more were damaged because of the floods. The sad part is most were not able to claim house insurance and others because the damages left were under the conditions of force majeure or acts of God. That means insurance companies will not pay the owners. So now, the victims of typhoon Ondoy rely on the rehabilitation assistance of the government to be able to cope-up with the damages brought about by the flood waters.

Anyway, some were able to claim home insurance but only those that allow acts of God in there provision. Unfortunately, only a few people have this kind of insurance policy because it has expensive premiums. There were only few “can afford” Filipinos that were victimized by the flood.

Need Extra Income

I have been thinking of generating additional income. My online income right now is not sufficient with our needs. So I am thinking of working online or do some per commission based job like maybe giving out life insurance leads or be a ghost writer again. Better yet, learn a new skill maybe like cosmetology or hair cutting.

Anyway, whatever as long as its legal, I am very much willing to do it! It’s really hard when your family is growing, your needs are growing too!

To Eat or Not to Eat

Whenever I have a problem, I always lose my appetite. I don’t like eating as I am so overwhelmed with my problems and of thinking of solutions to it. No wonder most people who are depressed lose weight. Problems are like natural appetite suppressant. They can make you lose your will to eat and sometimes live. There are also some people if they have problems, they eat and eat. The result is obesity. They have an uncontrolled appetite when they think of their problems.

Anyway, losing or not, if eating is concerned, one should stay alert as health is the primary victim. If you become unhealthy from not eating or over eating, you might end up having more problems than the usual. That is why I try to eat even how little, don’t want to lose my health because it is my only wealth!

Losing and Gaining Weight

When I go inside a comfort room, ride a taxi or jeep, I always saw this sticker that says lose weight now. They are placing these stickers everywhere in hope they could sell fat burners to those who want to lose weight. But I guess the same product can also help people gain weight too. It depends on how you use the program but most of their advertising is in losing weight. So does that mean that there are many people who are having problems of losing weight than those who want to gain? Is obesity a real big problem nowadays?

Anyway, I am thin but I want to gain weight and tone my body a little. I felt so loose but thin. So, I need to tone up my skin and stretched skin from being pregnant. I want to gain and shape up! Not only for me but also for my children.

My Auntie's House

My auntie in Manila is very fond of interior decorating. She is the sister of my father and out of the five siblings; she is the one with the most beautiful house. Well, my father was the one who designed the house but most of the interior decorating was done by her.

Her house has a touch of Asian. She has gongs displayed on the wall and some in tables. She also has a cabinet filled with different kind of angels. She has a table with sea shells inside it. Near her living room, you can find an interior grotto with white pebbles.

The most unique of her decoration were the ones she brought at Indonesia. I don’t know what they are called but they look are people in beautiful clothes. She also has Indonesian paintings and some table decorations.

Her house is only a one-storey residential building with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. She has a living room, a den, a prayer room and two kitchens. All complements with each other.

Anyway, I hope someday we will have our own house maybe not as beautiful as my auntie’s house but a home of our own. That is the most important thing for me!

Dreams are Stress Relievers

As long as we are alive, all people are subject to stress. And the fact remains true, that as long as we are alive, we can still have dreams for the future. Agree? Well, I am sure you will agree with me!

Anyway, after all the stress life has to offer, I can’t help but simply dream big dreams to compensate the negativity of stress. One of my biggest dreams in life is to have an all inclusive vacations for the whole family to the Caribbean! Yup, sometimes I wished I could visit Negril Jamaica with the whole family and experience the wonders nature has to offer and maybe stay in Ocho Rios hotels when we are there.

Though sometimes it seems impossible, I often dream about it. Besides, dreams are for free, and since there is no payment for it, why not dream the most luxurious and beautiful dream family vacation you can ever had, right? At least, even with your dreams, you can relieve the stress your present life has!

Bella Grace First Digital Scrap

I just gave birth to my third child, Bella Grace, last September 23 (Wednesday). Since many of my friends are eager to see her first pixies, I decided to make a simple digital scrap for her. This one was created using ScrapBook Flair Free Software.

Anyway, since I have a new bundle of joy to attend too in the next few days, am sure I’ll need an acne treatment after my breastfeeding days because I will be awake almost every night until the break of dawn. But of course, self beautification comes last!

Worrying About the Future

Having children sometimes make you worry on what games they play. I don’t mind my daughter because she really loves girly games but for my son, well, I sometimes worry not now but the future! Right now, he loves watching the pages of books about the solar system, planets & galaxies, he also loves drawing them and even watching about the at YouTube.

But what worries me is when he gets older, I am sure as a boy he will soon be fond of skateboard ramps, bikes and other dangerous games. I can take it if he will go to sport related games but the dangerous ones kind of scaring the hell out of me. That is why my husband tells me not to worry about the future, he said I must enjoy my son as he is right now and not tomorrow that haven’t come yet!

Virtual Farms at FaceBook

Do you love playing game applications at FaceBook?? Well, I do! I am a bit fanatic about it. I play Restaurant City, Yoville, FarmTown, Farmville and FarmLand!

If you notice, I am obviously addicted to farm games. I mean having virtual farms is quite exciting. I am always excited to harvest and earn more experiences to level up! Besides, at least in my virtually life, I get to have three farms without worrying about farm food and pond supplies and get rich with coins along the way!
