Anyway, I can’t possibly pass the days by without blogging about the First DigitalFilipino Club’s Bloggers Networking Event that happened last July 4 at Casin0 Filipino Hotel, Golden Fields, Bacolod City. The event was a blast! It was the first of the things that I really hoped for to happen to bloggers here in our place. Special thanks to Ms. Janette Toral of DigitalFilipino Club whom I have met over a year now but only in the online world. She made things possible together with PAGCOR Bacolod, their CEO Efraim Genuino, COO Rafael Francisco, VP Joey Benedicto, Bacolod branch manager Fidel Fuentes, MCCRD Assistant Manager Nancy Orcullo, Senior Marketing Manager Raymund Gatuslao, Web Management Unit Head Francis Gary Viray and others.

Thank you so much Ms. Janette! Not only for bring the event to us but for many things that you have helped the Negros Bloggers and me! We love you!

Anyway, aside from all the sumptuous food which this pregnant mom enjoyed, I was ecstatic to meet many people from different places in Negros Island and also the blogging community of Iloilo City. The event was attended by 62 guests from bloggers, social networking website members like FaceBook and Friendster, e-service providers, SEO professionals and others. It was a great night of networking and opportunity building especially from bloggers and those who wanted to learn how to blog!

Ms. Janette also gave a very comprehensive presentation about the current DigitalFilipino Club actives, namely:

• Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs 2009 Update
• DigitalFilipino Web Awards 2009
• Philippine Schools Cyberfair 2010

After the event, I was so sad to leave immediately. I needed too because I am already feeling body pains and needed to rest. I was not able to try my luck at the tables while some of them won as they have told me the next day. They got FREE money from playing!

Oh well, I am glad that the event happened. It was really inspiring that is why the core members of Negros Bloggers are already excited to plan our next move to launch series of events here in Bacolod. We are so excited!!

Of before I forget, I would like to thank the core members of Negros Bloggers (Glady, Mae,  Sigrid, Dennis, Maricar, MM, Dha-Dha and Ace) who gave their best to help and make the event possible! I love you guys!

Anyway, according to www.baby2see.com, this is the latest development of my baby Bella inside my tummy:

* The fetus has its own regular intervals for sleeping and being awake.
* The weight has increased to 1000 grams and is 37.5cm in length.
* 2.2 pounds weight and is 14.8 inches in length from head to heel.
* The feet are just over 2 inches (5.5cm) long.
* The hair on the head is now clearly visible.
* The milk teeth have developed under the gums.
* The eyes are starting to move in their sockets.

“Brain waves show rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, which means your baby may be dreaming. Eyelids are opening. Eye color may change within the first six months of life especially if your baby’s eyes are blue or gray-blue at birth. Remember to talk to your baby often; reading stories, singing songs has been seen to slow the baby’s heart rate. He or she can recognize your voice now and will often calm to it later after birth.

Your uterus will be about 3 inches (7cm) above your bellybutton. During this time of your pregnancy, your belly will grow about half an inch (1cm) each week. If you have been following a nutritious, balanced meal plan, your total weight gain is probably between 17 and 24 pounds (7.5 and 10.5 Kg).

Branches of lungs are quite developed now, so there is a good chance that baby would survive if born prematurely now. If your baby is born this week, the chances of survival are now at least 90 percent. However, some complications are still possible.”

Oh well, I am kind of excited because I have 80 days to go till I give birth. For short, that makes exactly two months of waiting! And I can feel that she is excited also because she kicks frequently and is awake most of the time. I just hope she wouldn’t be when she’s out!

To make the long story short, my husband and I decided that our blog would focus more on movies and music since those are our common passions aside from our family. That is why we decided to entitled the blog “He said. She Said. – A Couples’ Take on Movies, Music and More!” Our blog focuses on our personal views on the movies we have watched and the music we have listened. He has his own views and so do I.

Anyway, she was excited and is planning to start one. I also asked her if she is willing, I could write some weight loss pill reviews on her blog. Staying fit and healthy these days is also a good sub-category for a health related blog. She was fine with it and I am also excited because of another opportunity.

As for me, I have almost 20 domains and most of them are general blogs. I haven’t thought of having a niche blog since I am not sure if I could stay on a certain topic without being sidetracked but maybe it would also be nice to try. Don’t you think? At least I could put my other domain in use.

Anyway, I am hoping that things will go well and that my father will recover immediately. I also hope that God will grant him his birthday wishes and even a long life to enjoy it to the fullest!

Anyway, my husband and I talked about it. We both agreed that death really is inevitable even how popular and rich you are. If it’s your time, then it’s really your time. The only thing people can do is to make ourselves prepared always.

Because of this, when we visit malls, sometimes we visit home entertainment centers. We love to window shop for the latest home entertainment showcases they have. Sometimes we plan of getting an LCD TV for a start but probably not now maybe late December next year.

Anyway, I am pretty much excited about the ongoing 2009 Wimbledon Tennis Championships. The tournament started last June 22, 2009 at 1pm local London time.
