So. There's this quaint little annual campout Southern Oregon PNWR folks have been doing for a few years now. It's been nice and quiet, save for one almost campground brawl. But it was the other guy's fault. ;)

We need this thing to get crazy. I'm asking for your help. It's in August this year, at Diamond Lake campground. Reserve a spot, don't reserve a spot. Show up and impose. Drink. Take your clothes off. Ride. Eat. Etc.

What say you? Details here:

Greetings all. Havent spend much time here as of late, but I did just pop in to list a bike for sale and do a little browsing around. As before, there is still plenty of stolen bike threads on here. Not much has changed. There is also still leg humping. I see some new female members, I may have to do a little leg humping before I crawl back under my rock. Back on topic though... ( and talk to you ladies I haven't met soon  )

Ok, for all those threads I see where bikes get stolen, many people do not have full coverage, or insurance at all. It is expensive to carry full coverage, and motorcycles are expensive to replace. There is an option that I never saw mentioned when I posted regularly before, and from talking to other people with bikes, not many people consider or even know about...

THEFT ONLY POLICY!!! I don't know what kind of discount I get for having multiple vehicles, and homeowners insurance on the same policy, but for close to $100 for mine anyway, you can get theft only coverage for a year. It doesn't matter what your driving record is, it doesn't change the price! Ride like a dick? Don't matter! lots of speeding tickets? They don't care! Ride wheelies everywhere? ME TOO!!! It still costs the same for a theft only policy!

SO.... if you absolutely cant afford full coverage, Then you cant afford to replace your toy. Kick a habit for a month if you need the money. Buy lattes everyday? drink folgers for a month. Smoke a pack a day? Steal your cigarettes, because quitting is too damn hard! ok, don't steal them, but you see what im saying. Skip a weekend at the bar or something!

Ya, I know what youre saying to yourself. "Im going to call my insurance company tomorrow and ask them what it costs!" Don't be a turd, do It right now! At work? tell the boss youre on a business call, or go hide in the shitter! Or, what I do, email your agent your vin# and the purchase price of the bike and tell them to quote you. FYI, you usually get a discount to pay all at once, but you can go monthly too.

I hope this helps at least one person. There may already be a thread out there covering this, I did not search. And even if there is, HERE IS A NEW ONE!

More importantly though, is this a capable twisties bike to have some fun with on rides or no and, is this a good deal?
Any advice on these would be great, I just don't want to screw myself rushing into a bike.

The bike has almost every available option including the 1,198cc engine, electronic height and stiffness adjustable suspension, cruise control, keyless start, storage/saddle bags and heated handgrips. The bike is black in color and has only been ridden softly for about 2,000 miles. Bike had it's 600 mile service done at Ducati Seattle. Bike was purchased new at Ducati Seattle in early 2012. All records and paperwork.

Never ridden hard, never laid down. Bike was bumped to the side while moving in the garage with some scuffing on the right saddle bag and the tip of the front brake lever breaking. Everything functions perfectly. This is a very quick and comfortable touring bike and excellent for any activity.

So I just picked up a Shorai lithium ion battery for my ATK. It's unreal how little and light this thing is! 1.3 pounds, fits in the palm of my hand. It comes with a bunch of stick on padding for your battery box so it fits nice and snug like whatever the original battery size was. it can be left outside for over a year and not discharge or go bad. no need for a battery tender.

anyone else running a Lithium battery? They've come way down in price, this one was about $100.

I have just started looking for a plated dirtbike. Just came back from weekend of dirt riding and would like to put one in my garage so I can go a few times a year. Can't justify the $$$ for a new KTM350exc but that would be top on the list. I don't really want to narrow the search down too much because for the right deal I might jump on anything. KTM300? Husky310? just pm'ed on the Gasgas 300, ect.... Don't really want to do the 2stroke 250 thing but who knows if it has a plate might just......

Elect start is prefered, might go as large as a 450 4 stroke but had a 530 and that was too much. Rode a WR426 for the weekend and really liked it...Hope I have painted the correct picture, if you have been thinking about selling please send me the information. I am located just north of Bellingham but willing to travel.

Shows up to a Loretta Lynn's qualifier to try to get into the biggest AMA amateur nationals motocross race there is in a very competitive 250b mod class. Doesn't sound like a big deal? Well he's doing it on a 27 year old 1985 CR250 and kicking ass against modern mx bikes
A true badass, hope he makes the show on this bike!
