One of the most powerful and influential politicians of today’s world, the USA president Donald Trump, was famous even before its political career. Each person has its background, whether it is good or bad. The 47th and the current head of the States had its own business in various fields: real estate, sports, beauty contest, education, and many more. One of these was entertainment.

One of the most impactful enterprisers of our age founded a whole empire of Hotels and Casino Resorts. Was everything really so good? Except for 6 crashes, which Mr. President passed. How it all began and ended, the fate of Atlantic City play will be revealed in the full details.

Trump Plaza

Everything started in March 1982, when the magnate got a license rewarded by the New Jersey Commission. That is when the developer owned land in Atlantic City. The occasion was so notable, because the license was created by the commission within a couple of hours. That was on the stop, considering the fact that usual procedures may take several months until it is clear whether the license is given or denied.

Having a partner who paid for the construction (Harrah’s), There was established Trump Plaza, the 10th land-based house in Atlantic City then. In 1986, the future king bought out Harrah’s part and become the only owner.

After numerous failures and successes, The company announced about the closure if a buyer wasn’t found. In September 2014, the plaza was closed permanently. About 1,300 employees left out of work under those conditions. In that year, there were closed also 4 such places in Atlantic City.

Trump Castle

The building was started by the Hilton Hotels company, though, when it was almost complete, they didn’t get the license by the State of New Jersey. Coincidence? No one knows. That is when the complex was bought by the prospective leader of America and opened in 1985. Having gained numerous debts, the was announced a prepackaged failure in 1992.

A year later, the man got a full ownership over the castle and sold it to his company. There took place so frequent selling and buying, finally, the building was renamed Trump Marina in 1997 and sold in 2011 after long negotiations (for about 3 years).

Trump Taj Mahal

In 1988, there was owned another place known as Trump Taj Mahal. And as it was prohibited by the local jurisdiction for anyone to own more than 3 entertainment houses, the future president wanted to close the original resort and make it just a hotel.

The opening of Taj Mahal was in 1990, with about 70,000 people coming to various ceremonies. There even took place some performances of Michael Jackson. The early months of Trump Taj Mahal, it was a real jewel of Atlantic City, welcoming people all over the globe. It was even called the 8th wonder of the world.

However, a year after the opening (perhaps, a little bit more), it went to Chapter 11 bankruptcy. In 1996, the complex was purchased by Trump company. To save the situation, there was even opened a strip club in 2013. Yet, in 2016, it was announced that the house would close due to the workers on strike.

Financial Troubles

The comeback of the president’s gaming era has never happened. In 2004, Trump restructured its debt and entered smash-up again. That is why, there was no other choice but to reduce the ownership from 56% to 27%. The company’s name was also changed to Trust Entertainment Resorts.

In the end, the stock ownership reached 10% and the future president has never been an active part of the business anymore. The businessman himself says that he has never been a bankrupt and actually among the dozens of business he owns this was the only one to have such a destiny.

Have you done big donations? We’re going to give Australians a sneak peek of the current contributions’ amounts in line with the obtained stats, corruption issues in the article. And it looks like politicians drew money from people.

The facts show it may be the same interest of entertainment operators and running political parties, however, the recent developments in the country demonstrates the lowering of players’ stakes, forcing the interested people to head down new tactics to work on the governments.

We are no longer hiding their names and real sums. Our researchers revealed what companies are involved and how much money they already invested. So, no favorite parties, read about each below.

Who & How Many?

At least 9 bodies have been spotted making contributions in especially big amounts. As has become customary for big companies, altogether the top Australian enterprises have donated to the Federal ALP over 330 thousand dollars within the previous year.
That sum is far less from $24 billion loss occuring every year in the country. As we know about $1,000 loss per person, the worst result in the whole world of online play belongs to Australia. We feel like the citizens are much more sensitive in the way, and we ask for your attention to the problem.

Donations: to Be or Not to Be Prohibited?

Under the recent information on donations, this industry proved once again it drives “shady money” in politics. Let’s take the experts’ word for it as there isn’t much talk of such a soft money like every year. Because they’re not expected to have favorites. Though many politicians have been speaking out on this issue because of such donates as made by Woolworths to Coalition parties and Labor in the sizes – $54,675, $16,500 respectively.

People never thought they were going to say that, but they said it: they think we should be done with such donors. They and we do appreciate an idea of helping people, but the politics in line with gaming, tobacco organizations put a false color on charity. So we wish someone have told us that everything is going to be ok and without compensation, but nobody did. More and more people keep to the policy – such a practice has a bad impact on Australians’ lives.

For numerous people it was difficult just to imagine that the president of the United States can be someone connected with entertainment. The 47th and the current head of the third-largest country in the world, Donald Trump, was one of the most influential businessmen in various fields. He owned a huge empire of Hotels and Resorts, yet, not everything was so good.

The bright start was in 1982 when New Jersey Control Commission awarded Mr. President with the entertainment business license, which was made up within several hours (that was strange). Opening the Trump Plaza then, it was among the first 10 land-based amusement houses in the area. Yet, in 2014 everything ended with the shut down.

In 1985, there was the opening of Trump Castle, yet, after numerous financial problems, it was sold in 2011. Today, you can find the place calling Golden Nugget already. Trump Taj Mahal was another large house, which took its story from 1990. And even the performance of Michael Jackpot didn’t help and everything ended in 2016 with the workers on strike.

The Most Famous Thrill-Seeker

The desire to be the best one in everything, guided Donald Trump everywhere. And Atlantic City was a great chance for him to achieve new tops. Owning 2 hotels in the city (Trump Plaza and Trump Castle), the developer was under the construction of its third giant – the Taj Mahal.

The trust-rate of public was too shaky, because they (including the investors) considered the actions of the leader to be more like the ones of an ailing company. In November 1987, the man did something totally unexpected. He appeared on the cover of New Jersey Monthly as a Blackjack dealer. The title said he played to win.

Taking himself as the best example, the empire owner finally got what he aimed for. Opening 3 amusement houses (no more was allowed), he saw both the sharp rise and the terrible fall.

Reasons of the Atlantic City Amusement Places Era Ending

The Entertainment Resorts of Trump became bankrupt 4 times!!! That happened in 1991, 2004, 2009 and 2014. Initially everything started with the construction of the Taj Mahal and difficulties connected with debts and the fall one year later. In 2004, the future president had to reduce his ownership of the enterprise from 56 to 27 percent.

However, that didn’t prevent from filing for bankruptcy, which, according to their words, was a technical thing. Owing $1.2 billion, the company met another smash-up. At the long last, the part of the ownership became 10% only, leaving no way back. Leaving the market of gambling forever, Trump claimed that none of its projects had never been a bankrupt, the destiny of this one was just shaped.

Why Online Entertainments Ousted Traditional Ones?

Nowadays, more and more pace gathers online entertainment industry, leaving behind the traditional one. That happens due to multiple factors, which are rather natural. Today, people seek for the most convenient ways for everything. When there is no need to come out of your home, leave the beloved sofa, etc.

Also, there are no limits on the quantity of people. Thousands of people can join the same entertainment and at the same time, and there won’t be a problem. No need to construct buildings and resorts, pay for the staff and service. Think of potential cheating or fraud.

If there exist multiple entertainment places in your county, you may have a desire to visit them. Otherwise, you don’t have to buy air tickets and travel just for fun, everything is available online under the same conditions and providing the same things.

Accessibility

We have already mentioned that the best advantage is that you don’t have to go to anywhere. Instead, your laptop or personal computer will be a great source of everything. Still, with the modern technologies provided, you can also use your mobile phone or tablet for playing online.

Each site offers its desktop and mobile versions, which are available anytime and anywhere. Anyway, check some points before the participation. First, make sure your country is allowed, because sometimes there is no license for some areas. Another obligatory factor is a good Internet connection (whether it is Wi-Fi, enable cellular data, etc.).

Simplicity

When you have no experience, it can be a little bit awkward for you to visit the classic entertainment houses. Not knowing the variety of games, their rules, specialties and conditions. Usually, there has to be someone with you, who will guide you through the place, showing everything and helping to get acquainted with the atmosphere.

Instead, the virtual sites offer the user-friendly interface and simple manuals for their visitors. Everything is got instinctively, calling no problems for you. Entering various sections, you can read the rules and terms, find out some tricks and strategies, check the return-to-player data, licenses and anti-virus protections.

Promotions

No ordinary place will offer you such a thing. The thing is that you can get bounties for just being a newbie, or, vice versa, for your regular investments. Also, there exist some Loyalty Programs for experienced customers.

Thus, you can get such privilegesand numerous alternatives. Getting the chargeless credits, you should also remember that the terms come next. This thing is totally natural for all sites, no matter which you pick.

You just form an account and become a real participant, having all rights for using online services. After that, you activate the desired promotion and use it.

This review for Canadians is all about legacy in gaming! Yeah, it sounds interesting. Not everyone is as thrilled with us, however. Why so? But let us show our point.

Like in every, in a Canada’s society, a law reflects the norms of 5 communities. This is what according to us is fair and good.

Also laws change with the change in the norms. As according to the official study for 2016-2018, the Canada’s entertainment industry generates $9 billion in a year and supports 135,000 full time jobs now.

To balance the harm done by dishonest participants, people resorted to the strategic of punishment resulted into the Criminal Code.

Before we haven’t gone too far, let’s think of people who are supposed to be interested in disclosure of the legal betting forms, letting alone the fact that they are likely to be Canadians. As the Criminal Code regulates the players behaviour, he or she should be of 19 years old and of 18 if the individual is from Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec, plus be interested in betting, racing, sports, playing slots, table and card entertainments.

Criminal Code Explained

You maybe wanna just to get a definition of the Gaming Code? And that’s how we want to continue our review.

This is the juridical document which Part 7 called “Disorderly Houses, Gaming and Betting” comprises descriptions of acts, illegal in our country. Since 1892, the document has been moderated a few times, in 1985, then in 1969.

As the government had failure to make all such activities legal, it lies heavy on the website operators conscience. So with that if a site doesn’t have a license or the provincial government owner, it is the case of prosecution, which went all over the country in 2013 and brought million losses.

After games’ of chance swindle, lotteries offenses, illegal stakes’ making experience, and not only, if any makes a mistake or whatever… There is a Criminal code comprising illegal offenses like some listed below:

Section 202: pool-selling, illegal betting, book-making deals

Section 209: cheating with an intent to defraud the bettor or house

If one did something like that a gambler or an operator might be deprived of liberty for not less than 14 days or for up to 2 years depending on irregularity.

When the Code starts acting, it was exciting ’cause things are actually happening legally, thus fair’.

Legal Forms In 5 Main Canadian Provinces

The country with an area of 9,984,670 km2 and a population of 37,067,011 agreed to divide regulations between 5 provinces, each would have its own set of laws to make sure what is happening in the sector is made through a legal procedure.

We feel like you need a preview. We don’t know, maybe get familiar with Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, British Columbia and Alberta’s laws? We thought we would share their brief reviews with you and let you in on some of the options and facts.

Ontario

Speaking about the legal forms, Ontario citizens admit that people can’t help but play once in a lifetime. The men and women can try it once, two times a month or every day and they can be sure of the legacy of most popelar activities:

Quebec

Quebec people were also quick to jump to the things. The games of chance have been legal since 1970 there.

But what makes the province special is just how selective it is. Whether it always makes the perfect decisions, people from French-speaking province should decide for themselves.

Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia has a plenty of must-see activities. After appearance of 2,700 VLTs, 3 racing tracks the people have become known not only for agriculture or fishing!

British Columbia

And since announcing the British Columbia expected their citizens playing legally three decades ago, the government has prepared documents for legal play at their houses with horse racing, lottery, again popular sports betting, charitable and other entertainments.

Alberta

As we can see, Alberta isn’t alone in the eagerness to provide all of entertainment activities to the people, because the revenue totals 4% of the budget. However, the money comes from problem horse racing, lottery, online play, VLTs, charitable gaming, and their families and friends aren’t probably just as excited. We revealed that over 25 houses have been functioning by now.

Exceptions for Kahnawake Mohawk Nation

Interestingly, Kahnawake Mohawk Nation Commission – the exception to the general code. It has been regulating and licensing their own entertainment websites since July, 1999, legally.

Political Forecasting in Canada

Getting back to the Canada government policy, it is closely related gaming though the latter refused to accept it “de jure”, the communities left the place for it in their circles, and long time ago.

All of a sudden there has been discovered a document providing evidence of merchants betting in 1553. It related to the succession of King Edward VI who was then dying. Later on, general punts to very specific wagers types took place. And we could tell it’s become too real but no less exciting. It’s safe to say the political betting is going to be fun and legal.

In case you missed it, Rand Paul won a major state level, insider politics battle on Saturday within the Kentucky Republican Party.
After striking out in his attempt earlier this year to change a Kentucky law that prohibits the same person being on the ballot for two different offices, Dr. Paul changed tactics and staged a campaign of pressure politics to get the Kentucky Republican Party to hold a caucus in March rather than the traditional May primary for the 2016 election.
This will be the first time in Kentucky history that the party has ever done so.
The change over from a primary to a caucus system is expected to cost the state GOP between $400,000 – $600,000. Dealing with obvious concerns over spending the extra funds from many inside the party Rand Paul subsequently promised to raise and deliver at least $250,000 to the Kentucky GOP by September 18th. After a long Saturday of meeting with the special committee organized to decide on whether the change would be approved, a meeting that Rand Paul himself showed up for, the party decided in a 111-36 vote to allow it.
Well, there we go. Pay to Play politics is alive and well in the GOP. While this may not be surprising of the party, it does smack of hypocrisy on Rand Paul’s part, who spends hours going off on the importance of following our laws, but has quite clearly skirted the spirit of the law on the books in Kentucky. And it begs the question, are we a nation of laws or of men? Apparently, the latter in the Bluegrass State.
The law in Kentucky was meant to ensure that the state was never left unrepresented by a candidate winning more than one race and thereby leaving a vacancy. Rand Paul has apparently successfully used the same logic in getting what he wanted to flout that law. Insisting that if he ran for office it would leave Kentucky underrepresented. Well, that’s the choice you make when you decide to run for higher office while holding another one. A decision that someone like Marco Rubio had to make before putting his name in as a candidate for the 2016 presidential race.
In pulling this political stunt Rand Paul is showing his intention to use Kentuckians as the backbone to the presidential prize he really wants, rather than his professed dedication to representing them.
Today, with a more than adequate Republican presidential field for 2016, and Rand Paul’s poll numbers sliding – he won’t be the nominee – one can see clearly why he pushed so hard to get this exception passed. Spending valuable campaign funds that could be used to run ads in states like Ohio and Pennsylvania, seems like an utterly foolish choice.
If Rand Paul wants to continue being a U.S. senator then he should commit to the people of Kentucky. He needs to drop out of the presidential field now, rather than taking up valuable space. He can then contemplate picking it up again in eight years when he wouldn’t be up for re-election.
Lastly, I can’t stand that this has unpardonably made me agree with this guy:

Podcasts are slowly taking over. Talk radio, while still broadcasting live and over terrestrial airwaves, has finally begun to embrace it. Only a few short years ago paid subscriptions were required to listen to your favorite news/talk shows on demand and podcasts seemed the poorly produced bastard brother. Now, after years of pioneers like Adam Carolla perfecting the podcast model into a viable business, everyone is uploading their shows onto the easily accessed and free format. Really, everyone.

As the ease with which getting podcast content out to the public has gotten easier, it’s also made finding ones truly worth listening to more difficult to find, and a well-versed list of great ones that much more valuable. While others may pack their lists with podcasts that lean to the left (sometimes hard) and make you promises that their podcast suggestions will make you smarter, this list makes no such claim. While you wouldn’t know it to look at the Featured or Top Charts sections in iTunes Podcasts, conservatives and libertarians are also publishing excellent content in this burgeoning medium, allowing their message an opportunity to reach people it may not have otherwise.

While we can’t promise these podcasts will make you smarter, we can promise that they will make you think.

Here are some favorites for the next time you need something to listen to:

Ace of Spades HQ Podcast

Covering everything going on in the news and social media from Thursday to Thursday (the podcast drops on Fridays) co-bloggers Ace, Gabriel Malor, John Ekdahl, and Drew McCoy, along with a variety of special guests, discuss the major (and not so major) topics of the week.

And while you may come for the wit and depth of knowledge, you’ll stay for the Bradley Cooper Update.

Listen here: AoSHQ Podcast

EconTalk

Hosted by economist Russ Roberts, EconTalk brings economics to its listeners through interesting and accessible conversations with authors and experts on topics ranging from business and finance, politics, education, healthcare, and the “curiosities of everyday decision making.”

Listen here: EconTalk

PragerU Podcast

In this podcast, radio host Dennis Prager, and a plethora of notable guests, take on humanity’s moral and ethical questions. Each podcast is less than ten minutes and delivered in a clear and concise way. Being so easily digestible, you can get through many of them in one go.

Listen here: PragerU Podcast

The Adam Carolla Show / Take A Knee

Any podcast list would be incomplete without mentioning Adam Carolla. This daily podcast brings news, culture, politics and entertainment mixed with a heavy dose of comedy, all in an hour and a half long format. Carolla talks often about how to do the practical things to get ahead and have a good life.
Take A Knee is a paid subscription podcast ($3.99/mo.) available only through the Carolla Digital app. Carolla’s stated goal for this podcast is to have long form, sit down conversations with successful people and find out how they accomplished what they have and to be motivational for the listener.

Splintered Caucus

Co-hosted by Jay Caruso, Neal Dewing, Amy Otto and some douchebag from Chicago, along with a weekly special guest, Splintered Caucus covers everything from society and politics to sports and entertainment. As the name suggests, the co-hosts range the spectrum of conservative politics. As such, it frequently exposes the fissures that are seen in the wider sphere of the Republican party, and the arguments that come from those inhabiting the same side of the aisle. For a deeper understanding of what makes the right tick, give it a listen.

Hosted by Brad Jackson, and often joined by veritable fount of knowledge Francis Cianfrocca, Coffee and Markets is a weekday podcast that covers economics and politics.

The Federalist Radio Hour

If you love The Federalist website, or even if you don’t, then you should take an hour to listen to this radio podcast. Hosted primarily by Ben Domenech and a guest, the show brings insights on news, politics and culture that have made the website so popular among conservatives and libertarians.

Criminal

As the host, Phoebe Judge, says at the beginning of each episode, “Criminal is a podcast about crime.” It’s goal is to go deeper in to crimes that aren’t so cut and dry. You’ll hear interesting, odd and sometimes macabre stories that, while criminal, are told from different perspectives, be it from the victim, perpetrator or innocent bystander.

Listen here: Criminal

The Buck Sexton Show

With a knowledge base stemming from his time as an analyst for the C.I.A. and for the N.Y.P.D. counter-terrorism division, Buck Sexton covers the news with a heavier focus toward foreign policy and the post-9/11 world. Young and energetic, he is able to make topics that would disinterest many into engaging topics. Although available live through TheBlaze radio on weekdays, often listening via podcast is less time consuming when dealing with a 2-hour show.

Listen here: The Buck Sexton Show

Reasonable Doubt

Another entry for Adam Carolla, this time along with defense attorney Mark Geragos. The two discuss societal questions through a legal lens. While many of the topics can be serious, it’s always interesting and informative of how our American legal system works in reality, while at the same time infusing Carolla’s comedic style with segments like ‘Pick Your Plaintiff.’

Listen here: Reasonable Doubt

Cato Daily Podcast

Hosted by Caleb Brown, experts from the libertarian Cato Institute discuss government and politics in ten to thirty minute segments. Topics range from discussions on America’s founding documents to “What LeBron James Can Teach You About Economics.” No, really!

Mad Dogs & Englishmen

National Review’s Kevin D. Williamson and Charles C.W. Cooke have joined together to bring us this enlightening conversational podcast. Typically covering topics along the lines of what the two writers have been working on, this podcast allows both to delve deeper into their reasoning, thoughts and opinions on their writings.

Listen here: Mad Dogs & Englishmen

Honorable Mention: Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Friends

The host of BATF, Leon Wolf, has been known to clarify that the show is not technically a podcast, but a “web show.” So, of course, it couldn’t possibly be allowed to take up space on a list of podcasts. However, I’d be remiss not to mention it as a great source of news and entertainment each week.
Leon is joined by regular panelists: Bill McMorris from the Washington Free Beacon, Scott Lincicome from the Cato Institute, Neal Dewing of The Federalist and some douchebag from Chicago.

Jeb Bush, former Republican governor of Florida, has a strong conservative record, but is weak on key issues. More importantly, however, his last name makes him not just a weak general election candidate, but would make his election as the American president a threat to worldwide democracy.

Mr. Bush consistently advocates for the free market and against cronyism, but he supported the 2008-9 bank bailouts. While during his time as Governor the Florida economy appeared strong, it was helped by the sub-prime housing bubble.

Though he advocates school choice, Bush is perhaps the most prominent supporter of the Common Core standards. It’s difficult to pretend that having federal school standards promotes diversity in education, but that’s what Bush has to do to square his support for both.

Be Inspired

Jeb Bush is also known as a dove on immigration. He’s trying to sell it now as being tough, but the reality will be quite different than he projects. His amnesty will come, and all the enforcement provisions he promises will not.

The Bush family is known for campaigning as conservatives but governing as liberals. George H. W. Bush famously campaigned on a “No New Taxes” pledge, breaking it to pursue a “grand bargain” with Democrats. The tax increase happened, but the spending cuts, as anyone could predict, did not. As Michael Tanner wrote in National Review, conservatives are like Charlie Brown to the Democrats’ Lucy:

In 1990, President George H. W. Bush approached the football, famously breaking his “read my lips, no new taxes” pledge, and agreed to a deal that promised $2 in spending cuts for every $1 in taxes. As with Reagan, the tax hikes proved all too real, an almost $60 billion increase by 1992. But once again, not only did the spending cuts fail to materialize, spending actually increased by $128 billion, a $2.10 increase for every $1 in tax hikes. The deficit, of course, increased as well.

George W. Bush campaigned in 2000 as a “compassionate conservative,” but what conservatives didn’t realize was that his compassion was going to include expanding the entitlement state with Medicare Part D and the federal education hegemony with No Child Left Behind.

Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on you.

Like it or not, Democrats and their media arm were successful in turning the war in Iraq into another Vietnam. Even as American troops fought and died to allow Iraqis their chance to be free from religious despotism, the steady drumbeat of bad news created a memory that will not be quickly erased. Even once the victory there was secured and control was being handed over to a functioning Iraqi government, President Obama arranged not to leave behind a force capable of securing the peace until Iraq could stand against its much more powerful neighbors — and those pesky JV teams.

Jeb Bush carries the burden of defending the war in Iraq, allowing his prospective general election opponent to dwell on something other than the dismal condition into which Barack Obama has fundamentally transformed the country since the end of the war.

But none of that even matters. If Jeb Bush were flawlessly in sync with the conservative base of the Republican Party; if he had a popular plan to eliminate the national debt while privatizing or moving Social Security, Medicaid, Obamacare, and Medicare to the states; if he had designs on eliminating several federal departments while strengthening our national defense for half the cost; he would still not be the right choice.

That is because if the people of foreign nations were to hear that once again, America is run by a Bush (or a Clinton, for that matter), they would rightly assume that our nation is ruled by an oligarchy. Vladimir Putin would not even have to say it. The Islamists could sneer in their Friday prayer and suicide bomb planning sessions that America is corrupt. The socialists in their dorm rooms could bob their heads in unison to say, “Look, in America anyone can rise to power, as long as he is named Bush or Clinton.”

The Bush family champions the spread of democracy in the world. It’s a noble cause, even if at times the world doesn’t seem to share it. Ironically, having another Bush in the White House would make that cause harder for America to champion.

The United States is supposed to be a shining city on a hill, a beacon streaming the light of freedom into a dark world full of tyrants. Electing another Bush — or a Clinton — would allow that light to be scoffed at, ridiculed, and ultimately ignored.

There has been a lot of talk about Donald Trump around here as of late. One of the reasons is I think there are so many better candidates out there people can and should support.

One of those is Rick Perry.

Contrary to what is being said around social media and even in the mainstream media about immigration, it remains below a number of other issues that Americans rank as important. Nothing is more important to the electorate right now than the economy and jobs. It’s easy to talk about how to create jobs and how to implement policies that allow the economy to flourish.

Texas is the state that fueled much of the economy in the United States in the last 15 years and Rick Perry was there for it all. Here are some eye popping statistics:

Texas Added 2,214,900 Jobs Under Governor Perry. In December 2000 Texas had 9,534,600 non-farm jobs. In December 2014 Texas had 11,749,500 non-farm jobs (Seasonally adjusted)

Texas Has Created 28.63 Percent Of All New Private Sector Jobs In America. In December 2000, there were 111,919,000 private sector jobs in America. In December 2014, there were 118,690,000 private sector jobs in America. In December 2000, there were 7,969,900 private sector jobs in Texas. In December 2014, there were 9,908,200 private sector jobs in Texas.

There Are 1,572,694 More Employed Texans Now Than There Were In December 2007, An Increase Of 14.3 Percent. In December 2007 there were 10,997,356 employed Texans. In December 2014, there were 12,570,050 employed Texans. (The country overall has lost 400,000 jobs in that time frame)

Then there is the tax burden in Texas. There is no state income tax. But it gets better:

Texas’ Combined State And Local Tax Burden Has Improved Between 2002 And 2011. In 2002 Texas’ combined state and local tax burden was 44th highest in the nation. In 2011 (most recent available) Texas’ combined state and local tax burden was 47th highest in the nation.

Rick Perry can stand on a stage and say to people, “This is what I did when I was the Governor of Texas.”

Here is what Aaron Gardner had to say about Rick Perry:

In Perry I see a leader driven by a purpose other than anger, I see a leader driven by a desire to correct our course as a nation and bring us back together under a common purpose, once again being the beacon of liberty to the world. Governor Perry understands that to be a beacon of liberty, we must first restore our own government to its proper size and scope, returning the aspects of governing the federal government has seized back to the states and the people, as the Constitution requires.

Of course, this being electoral politics, money is required in order to keep a political campaign going. This doesn’t require you write out checks for hundreds of dollars. A $5 donation can be extremely helpful. So if you want to see the Perry campaign continue, by all means, follow this link and go ahead and donate a few bucks.
