With social media being such an important part of business, it’s easy for newcomers to get dazzled by those who are using it. When we start our own social campaigns however, it can be a completely different story. Small uptake, limited response, and even spam can have social media newbies (and oldbies) alike scratching their heads and wondering why they’re not succeeding as well as others do. This talk will focus on the application of social media small business, what constitutes success in the space, and a freeform brainstorming session for those who want to get into social but might not have any ideas for how to do so.

From the organizing team of PodCamp London 2012 I want to extend a Thank You to everyone who chose to present on something that they are passionate about. Whether it was podcast, marketing, creative or new media related I know that those who attended your sessions certainly took home a great deal of value.

One of the downfalls of the un-conference structure is that there are so many presentations going on at a single time that it is impossible for someone to catch all of the sessions that they really want to attend. In the past the PodCamp London organizing team has tried to video live stream and record the session and while in some cases this has been successful more often than not we haven’t been able to deliver quality recordings to distribute afterwards.

This year we invested in some audio recorders and decided to go back to the roots of podcamp and record all of the sessions that took place throughout the day and release them as a podcast for everyone to consume and enjoy following the event.

Over the coming weeks we will be releasing all of the recordings from the event and any material that has been provided to us to supplement the recordings. In the cases where slides, links and other materials have not been provided or included we encourage you to contact the presenter on twitter and ask them to pass along anything you’d like. As a note; some sessions were more of informal discussions that after review didn’t make sense to release as a podcast, because of this you might find two or three sessions that were listed not included in the podcasts released.

You can subscribe to the podcast feed via RSS, iTunes or over on Castroller.
