It's not too late to do a 2011 recap right? Well it is still January, so myself and the BritToid team decided to look back before we move forward into 2012. We picked a whole bunch of categories to discuss and believe me, there are many disagreements along the way... *cough* n0brein - you crazy German. We wanted to make sure that we covered as many areas as possible without going on for hours, which was extremely difficult. The ones we decided on were:

Well hello there wonderful Destructoid people. It's that time of week again... BritToid episode 21 is here!

After doing our weekly game round up we recap the happenings from last week's Namco vs Capcom fight club, which was also covered by Justice. We then take a look at the growing popularity in TV game adverts, in particular ones that don't just contain game footage. The discussion concludes with the recent events from the Houses of Parliament and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Haters gonna Hate.

BritToid Episode 20: Keep calm and don't stare at The Sun

Well hello there fine men and women of Destructoid, I am very pleased to announce episode 20 of BritToid is now available! How exciting!

As always we begin by rounding up what we have enjoyed playing this week, which is actually quite varied but there is some conflict around Assassin's Creed Revelations, with some hinting at some of the events in the game but we were sure to steer away from any spoilers.

We then take a look at some of the new games announced for the PS Vita, and choose what our ideal first games would be from the list announced last week. The title for this week comes from the next topic we talk about, which is the recent article in the British tabloid newspaper The Sun about Xbox Live hacking.

Hello and good day Lords and Ladies, I am pleased to announce the latest episode of BritToid! We have said our goodbyes to Miss Hollie Bennett and the team has now welcomed me into their world of crazy. This episode begins with a quick round up of what we've been playing along with a few questions for me on important topics such as zombie apocalypse items and videogame guilty pleasures.

As always, the conversation does tend to go off into strange unknown places, but we do aim to talk about the recent trend in videogame music concerts, the GMAs and the BAFTA kid's choice award amongst other ramblings.

So here it is ladies and gentalmen, not only my very last BritToid but also my very last front page post as staff here at Destructoid. As of tomorrow I will be the new Consumer and Community PR for Namco Bandai in the UK.

On a quick personal note I would like to say thank you to all of those who showed me love and support when I discovered I was nominated for the Games Media Rising Star award. Sadly I didn't win but I would never have gotten where I am today if it wasn't for the unbelievably amazing community here at Destructoid; It has indeed been an honour that I cannot thank you enough for. I'm going to miss you all like crazy but please make sure you keep up with me on twitter!

It was incredibly sad putting together this episode and looking back I only wish I had started BritToid sooner so that I could have helped it grow even more than it has already. I want to thank all of you have listened to BritToid over the last year or more and for all the amazing support we have received; it isn't easy when PodToid is your big brother. Yet fear not, BritToid will indeed continue with the addition of Becca Roberts, Destructoid new European focused PR -- good luck Becca, you are going to need it and don't let Gandy pick on you.

At the end of recording every episode we pick a title which is based on some of the dumb stuff we say. While arguing over what to call this episode I discovered the greatest website of all time - Angel does stuff which became the inspiration for this week.

On episode 13 the cast once again talk about what games they have been playing -- except I've done nothing but continue to read the Game of Thrones books; We talk about the loss of jobs from Future Publishing who are behind some of the UKs finest gaming magazines. After the break we come back to discuss the massive growth of the UK games market, Capcom Fight Club UK is now a thing that is happening; Games City the UKs first games festival is taking place this year and we finish up by discussing the Harry Potter refugee camp.

While this may only be the 11th official BritToid podcast is it actually our one year anniversary and it has defiantly been an interesting adventure. When I started working for Destructoid I always said I wanted to be on a podcast and eventually I just decided to start my own. Like a phoenix (or 'Pheonix' if you get the joke) we rose from the ashes of the long since departed Podcastle and BritToid was born -- all thanks to the help and support of my cast who are all Destructoid community members.

While I could go into a lengthy discussion of what happens on this episode i'd rather you just listen. However, I am rather proud of myself as I do manage to derail a conversation on Fifa 2012 into the histroy of tampons.

After numerous technical difficulties and a little trip to E3, I can finally announce that the very long awaited and overdue episode 10 of BritToid has finally arrived -- on the eve of the recording of BritToid episode 11 none the less.

Now I don't know if it was 'that time of the month' or if I was just a little bit sleepy but BritToid Episode 10 is defiantly the argument edition as myself, Germany, Seto and Jake argue over pretty much everything on this episode -- with delightful results.

Ladies and gentelmen as the Royal wedding is upon us here in the glorious Untied Kingdom we decided this was the perfect time to further celebrate our Britishness by bringing you episode 9 of BritToid: Destructoids British gaming focused podcast.

We start with games of the week where Germany has another delightful indie rant while Seto tells us he can't play half-lifebecause it makes him vomit. Chris browns penis makes another 'appearance' and Seto explains why he bought a 3DS and A DSi XL despite having a DSlite and Jim isn't the only Dynasty Warriors fan on staff.

The news this episode looks at the console launches and how GAME staff were being told to purchase brand new consoles to sell them as second-hand and how Apple own our souls. GAME also decide to launch a gaming expo this year -- not to everyones excitement and we give a salute and farewell to the now deceased gaming website UK Resistance who brought us the Blue Skies in Gaming campaign.

Boys and girls we are please to bring you episode 8 of BritToid; Destructoid's sporadically recorded European gaming focused podcast. This episode sees myself, Germany, Seto and Gandy make it a whole 30 seconds before we discuss mens naughty parts, I would say this is a new personal record.

On top of discussing penises, we also discussed what the hell we have been playing this week where I discover that Pikachu is still Pikachu even in German, Special Effect Charity launch a new specialist gaming centre for the disabled, Wii-Dare didn't get a UK launch meaning that my home-made peripherals were no longer needed, GAME now do pre-order on pre-owned games, is the Xperia mobile phone any good and have Sega ever made a good investment?

BritToid Ep 6: Keep calm and jump on the bandwagon

Look, before we start anything I'm just going to straight up apologize. I got drunk -- in fact I got so drunk I never even managed to get home to be a part of this episode. When I did get home, I thought throwing jelly beans and trying to undress Seto was a good idea, you know 'for the lolz'. On top of this the Portuguese-Luxembourgian-German known as Dan Carniero was also MIA.

So this episode sees Dan Seto, Andy, Sean and Jake jump on the 2011 bandwagon and discuss what games they have and haven't enjoyed in 2010 and what they are mostly looking forward to in 2011 -- it was a slow month for Euro-news. Naturally they argue a lot, they make up something that they call 'home dipping' and I think you can even pin-point when I came home drunk.

well isn't this long over due? Sorry about that everyone, our bad. However, these last few months have seen plenty going on; DtoidUK become Dtoid Europe after we adopted a Dutch guy. DtoidEurope finally got a HQ as myself and Dan Seto decided to become room-mates, which sadly saw us without internet for over a month. We attended Eurogamer Expo in London and I celebrated my one year as Community Manager. All very exciting.

Meine Damen und Herren, welcome to a very special epiosde of BritToid coming to you from Gamescom 2010. We see a few changes to our team this week as the lovley Andy is back in England and N0brien is currently driving back from Berlin. Instead myself, Seto, Sean and Maurice Tan (prof.pew) discuss our games of the show from gamescom and of course, what we found most disappointing.

We discuss the finer points of shaking our thang with Microsofts Kinect, we take a look at Enslaved(however Sean seems reserved towards it), Seto gets all up in some epic yarn and Vanquish while I go high fantasy with RPG Dragon Age. We also get told off for the noise by our S***y neighbours before finishing up with what we were most disapointed with, which was actually alot harder to do that it sounds.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to BritToid Episode 3. We are Destructoid.com's British gaming focused podcast that brings you some of Britains finest (plus one German) accents and all the biggest news from the UK.

Listen this month as we kick off with the never easy to answer question of 'what is your favourite game' as we all try to explain/justify our choice (where I may or may not descend into a hissy fit). We follow it up by taking another look at the UK sales chart, only to find we have no surprises that 2010 Fifa World Cup South Affica continues to sell well, despite the robbery followed by a sexual assult that was Englands Exit. We move swiftly onto the banning of the R4 in the UK which of course none of us would ever own. We take a look at the Xbox360 Slim which happens to be selling well in the UK despite the brutal raping which is the price for Kinetc. On Seto's orders we take a look at the developer awards only to finish off by discussing the end of top PC magazine PC Zone.

This weeks episode is a little longer than normal so as a treat, you get two breaks.
