Extremely attractive and has potential to be an instant hit. The colors are not very hard on your eyes and at the same time, catchy. Sliding ads and AJAX tabs provide a sparkle to the theme.

The theme is highly widgetized with as many as 9 sidebars to go with. The theme is also adsense ready.

My only complaint against the theme is the complexity of it. It uses several files to incorporate each of the sidebars. This can get confusing and maybe a map/tutorial to go with explain the locationing of each sidebar would do a world of good.

Either way, great theme to have. Just need to be a little experienced to be able to customize it with ease.

I would be lying if I said that this is a great template with great features. This two column theme by Monji is a two column theme with very little to talk about its visual appeal.

Clearly, Magic Touch is one of the best templates we have come across recently. It has a spacious content area with two right sidebars. The color combination and contrast is excellent. The template is not free and a fee of $50 is charged for using it on unlimited blogs.

Xu Yiyang, a Chinese designer has created this template. So busy was he that he didn’t have time to christen his work.

Jokes apart, Unnamed is an all white 3-column theme with blue header and a black tab. The theme looks good from the outset but gives an impression that a lot of work hasn’t gone into the theme.

Very nicely done! Zen has a Japanese touch to it with minimal colors providing ample contrast to the theme. A good theme to have if you want a flavor of Japan.

Thematic is probably one of the most easy-to-use themes and offers plenty of customization through widgets. A+. Recommended for all those 2-column freaks. ~~It would be really great if a 3-column Thematic theme is released as well.~~

This one has all the usual features, including native Gravatar support (WordPress 2.5+ only), tagging support, and a widget-ready sidebar. It also has a special homepage template with 3 areas to place your post content. All this is configurable via an included config file, which will be gone over in detail below.

And now on to the homepage configuration…

Homepage Post Control

In the theme directory you’ll find a file called config.php. From here you can enter the number of pages you wish to display at the top, the left column, and the right column.

The variables used should be pretty self-explanatory.

Custom Thumbnails

This theme utilizes WordPress’ custom fields function to have optional thumbnail images on the homepage. The custom field key is thumb. The value should be the name of the image located in your /wp-content/themes/rs10/thumbs/ directory.
