Wow.  I have missed reporting on rumors.  I mean really missed it.  Miss the comments, the speculation, the haters, everything.  But thanks to our friends at PokéBeach we now know that there is definitely possibly a second forme for Kyurem! They cite some ROM data that shows there is a placeholder for the alternate forme. Not super solid evidence, but definitely something worth commenting on. Obviously this would be for the upcoming Pokémon Grey (tentative title).

This has been speculated from, oh, the release of Black and White, but can we finally start speculating on just what exactly this beast looks like?!  I think it’ll look like an ice cube with a dragon head.

Alas, yet another Japan-only C-Gear skin!  Those of us with English games will just have to wait it out… I still want my crustle!  I do think this is a pretty well done skin though, lends itself nicely to the whole c-gear concept as well If you have the Japanese game, you can download this NOW without any password!

Arceus is now available for download! You can go to the Global Link website and enter the password ”ARCEUSVOTE” to get it.  No special moves, no hidden ability.  Just… the PokéGod in all its glory. I actually don’t have it though, so I’m cool with this ;D

The Mewtwo download Japan got last fall is finally coming to the US! Black & White owners will be able to download it via wifi starting on Feb 12th.

Assuming there are no changes from the Japanese version, it’ll be holding a King’s Rock and have the moves Psystrike, Shadow Ball, Aura Sphere, and Electro Ball! Obviously a very special download

What’s the best alternate form of a Pokémon? There are a lot to choose from, so everyone should have something to answer. Whether it is the cool Giratina Origin Forme, or the cute Shaymin Sky Forme. But I think human minds are too weak to pick a good answer. So prove me wrong and tell us why you think you picked the right choice (which you won’t).

I predict there’s a 85% chance you’ll have a hard time choosing between a few options. But do answer, though. There will be cake in the comments below.

How does the new Final Fantasy: Theatrhythm game pertain to Pokémon fans? Well, it’s the first 3DS game to be getting paid DLC. Nintendo’s upcoming Fire Emblem 3DS will also have optional paid DLC. I wondered how exactly this might affect the next generation of Pokémon games and if it’s realistic to guess that Gen VI may have some paid downloadable content.

Here’s a short list of what could pop up as DLC in my opinion:

• - An extra region
• - Legendaries
• - Battle Frontier or similar location
• - TMs
• - Gym Leader rematch “pass” to challenge them again

What do you guys think? Since Nintendo is testing the water with their own Fire Emblem title is it unreasonable to think that Pokémon may have some DLC?

Thread of the day: My first platinum trophy by SerpentSeed

Last year, Japan had a big vote to decide which main game mascot was the best, that included all 15 Pokémon, from Green (Venusaur) to White (Zekrom). As you can probably guess from the title, Rayquaza came in at #1!

Starting Feb 10th (and running through the 27th), Japanese BW owners can get the legendary dragon at a Japanese PokeCenter. It’s quite unique and comes maxed out at level 100. It also has the moves ExtremeSpeed, Dragon Pulse, Hyper Beam, and V-CREATE!! Interesting move set to be sure… It’s also holding a Life Orb
