The fourth day of WSOPE Main Event is running and frenchies are still here in a hard field !

Indeed, Marc Inizan, Nicolas Levi (Winamax) and Arnaud Mattern (Pokerstars) are still here whereas there is only 16 players left.
The tournament is amazing with lot of pros and the almighty Viktor Blom aka Isildur1. Phil Ivey is out (19th), he looked very tired after a night on Full Tilt Poker. He had even tried to sleep during the tournament !

L’idée étant de partir All-in pour tenter d’être la main gagnante et ainsi remporter la promotion.
L’heureux gagnant est un joueur amateur de NL5 !

Il est allemand et ne savait pas que la promotion était en cours. Mais comme on ne lache pas une paire de dames preflop à ces limites, il a remporté le pot devant tous ses adversaires et la coquette somme de 56,140 dollars.

Cela va sûrement donner des idées aux bumhunters qui attendront avec impatience notre ami tbvle aux limites supérieures…

Au total, c’est près d’un million de dollars qui auront été distribués par Pokerstars.

Mais comme tout joueur, il est passé par des phases de doute, de mal-être vis-à-vis de ce statut si particulier de joueur de nosebleed.

Il a arrêté le poker dans la douleur, au point d’en être « malade ».

Le tournoi devrait accueillir près de 500 participants (et quand même quelques locaux) sur les deux Day 1 !

La structure est magnifique puisque les joueurs démarrent avec 20 000 jetons pour des niveaux d’une heure.
Mais le format short-handed devrait rapidement donner beaucoup d’action.
