10:52 a.m. A male subject who attempted to steal fishing tackle from a local sporting goods store became combative but was restrained by two store employees. Their method was to sit on the would-be thief. 5:27 p.m. Someone in Olney claims that an adult male driver intentionally backed over their tree and then spun brodies in the reporting party’s yard. The guilty party was arrested for criminal mischief and reckless driving.

He is evidently upset because the same individual reported him yesterday for pushing snow onto their property. 6:29 p.m. A driver on Highway 93 claims that something hit the car, immediately followed by a flash of light. Minimal damage was done to the vehicle. Authorities found nothing suspicious in the area.

9:12 p.m. A male individual refused to leave a local bar and attempted to pick a fight with the reporting party’s husband. The issue was settled after a lengthy conversation with the very intoxicated man. 10:27 p.m. A concerned parent on Braig Lane called to report that their son was an hour and a half late and still hadn’t returned home. The subject was located asleep in his bed.

He was jailed for misdemeanor assault. 2:39 a.m. A 13-year-old male party crawled through a trailer window in Marion in order to visit his girlfriend. The young girl’s grandparent did not appreciate this behavior.

4:03 p.m. Someone at a Bigfork grocery store overheard two drivers yelling at one another from their vehicles. Each subject felt that the other was a bad driver. 9:18 p.m. A Columbia Falls woman was alarmed to see a male subject standing outside her trailer home. The man ran off when she tried to approach him. Authorities found no footprints or other signs of trespassing.
