Hello everyone! I am back. The last year has been hectic and full of many changes. I have gone from being a stay-at-home mom to being a single mom working 40 hours a week. This has been a huge change for me, so I wanted to take some time off from blogging to adjust to my new life. I am back and ready to start doing reviews, swatches and nail art again for all of my followers.

Hello everyone, sorry that I haven't posted in so long. I have just been going through some major life changes and I am no longer able to devote time to blogging. I just want to thank all of my followers for being so great and say thank you to all of the great PR representatives that have also supported my blog. It has been a pleasure sharing my love of nail polish with all of you. With that being said, I will be leaving the blogging world for a while. Maybe when my life gets settled I will return.

I will be going through all of my polish soon and adding some new stuff to my blog sale, so I hope you all stick around and check it out. I will update as soon as I get everything posted.

Dynasty - This is a gorgeous purple with a hint of pink. This one reminds me a little of China Glaze Spontaneos. The formula was amazing as usual with American Apparel polishes. This application is 2 coats. Dry time was quick.

China Glaze | Anchors Away - Part 2 - Sand & Sea

Today, I have the second half of China Glaze's Spring 2011 Anchors Away Collection.

White Cap - Described as a Whimsical and sparkling multi-dimensional white. This is one of my favorites from this collection. It is so different from anything else that I own. This application is 2 coats. Dry time was quick.

Pelican Gray - Described as a High shine, cool toned gray creme. This is a nice bluish gray. This application is 2 coats. Dry time was quick.

Sea Spray - Described as a calming pale blue creme. This one is another favorite of mine from the Anchors Away Collection. I love this gorgeous creamy blue. This application is 2 coats. Dry time was quick.

Below Deck - Described as a flirty mix of taupe and violet. This one I would say is exactly as described. This application is 2 coats. Dry time was quick.

Sunset Sail - Described as Delightful peachy pink high shine creme. I like this one a whole lot more than I thought I would. I really like how it goes with my skin tone. This one is a peachy nude with a little shimmer. This application is 2 coats. Dry time was quick.

Knotty - Described as Micro-particle beige shimmer. This is a gorgeous beige tone with tons of shimmer. I really like this one a lot also. This application was 2 coats. Dry time was quick.

All in all, I really love most of the colors from the Anchors Away Collection. What do you think? Which ones are your favorites?

These are not my best photos. My nails and cuticles have been horrible due to the dry winter air...hopefully they will be getting back to normal soon.

Ahoy! - Described as delightfully intense pink that flashes with reflective glass flecks. This application is 2 coats. Dry time was quick.

First Mate - Described as sophisticated and rich navy creme. This application is 2 coats. Dry time was quick.

Starboard - Described as hip and playful green creme. This is the perfect green! This application is 2 coats. Dry time was quick.

Lighthouse - Described as multi-dimensional, bright yellow glass speck. This application is 2 coats. Dry time was quick.

Hello! Sorry that it has been forever since my last post...I have been a little busy. Today I have for you a gorgeous polish from American Apparel. I also have tons of swatches that I will be posting soon. Have a great day!

Please excuse the dry hands and cuticles...that is another reason why I haven't been posting so much lately...winter has been horrible to my hand and nails.

Peacock- This is a gorgeous blue green...I really love this color. And, as always the formula was magnificent. It was pretty opaque with 1 coat, but I used 2. Dry time was quick.

So, what do you think? Do you own Peacock? Do you love it as much as I do?

Lady Gaga is always pushing the envelope and exploring new trends. This year’s Grammy Awards proved no different. The award winner arrived in an egg pod and emerged wearing a bold, yellow nail.

The nail color is a new addition to Deborah Lippmann’s line and is called Yellow Brick Road. Celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann selected the color with the star to complement the canary yellow outfit she donned during her stage performance.

Hello! Check out this awesome polish I picked up from ebay the other day. It is an old Sally Hansen Holo...it's called Sally Hansen Magical Nail Makeup and the color is Mystical Mandarin. I also got this in Purple Potion- a gorgeous purple holo...I'll be posting that one soon!

This application is 2 coats + top coat of Seche Vite.

China Glaze is launching a line of China Glaze Crackle polishes that will be available starting in February 2011. There will be a total of SIX amazingly fun crackle polish colors.

The six different Crackle colors will include: Black Mesh (black crackle), Lightening Bolt (white crackle), Broken Hearted (pink crackle), Cracked Concrete (grey crackle), Crushed Candy (teal crackle) and Fault Line (purple crackle).

I am so excited for this collection of crackle polishes. I have tried out OPI's Black Shatter and I love it! The only downside is that there is only one color...black. With China Glaze's Crackle Glaze, you will have several different crackle shades to choose from. I am wanting Crushed Candy, Broken Hearted and Fault Line. Which ones are you looking forward to?

This is a really nice collection for all metallic lovers. When I first saw the promo info for this collection I thought that it might be a great collection to use with Konad stamping. After swatching these I feel like the polish will be too thin to work very well with Konad stamping. I also think that all of these colors would look better if I would have added a 3rd coat. All in all, I think that this is a great collection. They all applied very smoothly and dried fairly quickly. So, what do you think?

Sally Hansen | Prisms | Pink Rose Diamond (Holo)

Hello Everyone! Today I have a Sally Hansen Prisms polish in Pink Rose. I found this bottle the other day in a basket of old polishes I have. It is really old, you will be able to see just how old in the picture below. I didn't have any problems with applying the polish. Dry time was another issue, it stayed really tacky until I applied a coat of Seche Vite. This application is 3 coats + a coat of Seche Vite. I can't believe I let this pretty little holo polish sit around for so long without being used. It have been so obsessed with holo's since hearing about the upcoming China Glaze Tronica Collection. I just ordered 2 Sally Hansen Magical Nail Polishes from ebay - Purple Potion and Mystical Mandarin - Can't wait to get them!

I was sent 3 shades to review from the Pretty In Pink Collection by Sinful Colors. The colors I was sent are Scandal, Pink Forever & Glass Pink. They all applied nicely and dried fairly quickly. Now, here are the swatches.

Glass Pink - Described as Sheer, shiny, shimmer-happy bliss. This is a nice sheer pink with lots of champagne colored and silver micro glitter. It is a great polish for layering. This application is 3 coats.

Pink Forever - Described as Bazooka meets Bam-Bam to equal beautiful. This is a gorgeous creamy gum pink shade. I applied a coat of Glass Pink on the ring nail, I love the look! This application is 2 coats.

Scandal - Described as No-nonsense neon, slick and sensational. This is much more neon looking in person than it does in the photo. It's a nice muted neon pink. This application is 2 coats + a coat of Glass Pink on the ring nail...love this layered combo as well.

These are all great colors for Valentine's Day. I especially love Glass Pink for a layering polish...I will definitely have to try layering it over other shades. What colors do you like?

Zoya | Intimate Collection | Review & Swatches

Caitlin - Described as Smokey purple-tinged medium gray with a smooth, opaque creme finish. Sultry, mysterious and impossibly chic, a shade that will have everyone intrigued. This one is exactly as described and it is gorgeous! This application is 2 coats.

Jules - Described as a sparkling neutral light taupe with gold, silver and champagne metallic glitter. A new modern metallic that gives and ultra-luxe look. I love this one! It is a bronze like metallic with tons of glitter. Definitely one of my faves in this collection. This application is 2 coats.

Dannii - Described as a medium orchid purple with pink and champagne highlights and flecks of silver metallic shimmer. A unique metallic with a pop of fun color to keep your look fresh. WOW! This one is definitely my absolute favorite from this collection and probably gonna be one of my all time favorite nail polishes. This one is just absolutely gorgeous! This application is 2 coats.

Dove - Described as a soft, delicate light neutral gray with an opaque, glossy creme finish. Unexpected and flattering as a wear-with-anything neutral with a twist. This one is a nice creamy gray. This application is 2 coats.

Marley - Described as th Lightest baby lavender touched with a hint of gray-silver and a subtle pearl finish. A versatile, easy to apply and wear pastel shade that's never chalky or harsh. This is a pretty one as well. It is a light lavender pink with a slight pearl finish...very pretty! This application is 2 coats.

Gemma - Described as a Light muted olive green with an overlay of blue and violet duochrome shimmer. Unique, hip and cutting-edge yet subtle enough to suit any wardrobe. Another beauty in this collection, this one is an olive green with a suble bluish purple duochrome shimmer. The duochrome effect is definitely more duochrome looking in the bottle...the duochrome did not translate on the nail as well as I thought it would, but it is still a gorgeous color! It was a struggle for me to capture the duochrome effect with my camera, so this picture does not really do this color justice. This application is 2 coats.

Overall, I really love this collection! I actually really like all of the colors in this collection, they are all very wearable for me. What do you think? Which colors are your favorites?
