A blanket meant to cover any wrong, ever, forever, the end. It didn't matter what he did. Stolen money. Pictures of a naked woman in my bed.<br /><br />"I'm sorry."<br /><br />And that was all. All he would ever say, all he would ever offer. And we would try to move on.<br /><br />Here we are now, three weeks after I've left... trying to move on.<br /><br />I don't know what else I'm waiting for from him. That final breakdown, I guess. The part when he opens up, all the fucking way, and pours it out on me. Apparently, my teeth are in excellent shape in spite of my oral health hiatus... However, if I don't stop being such a stress case my "severe" tooth grinding will cause me to lose my teeth at an unfashionably early age.
