From New York-based swimwear brand Onia comes a look at their Summer 2013 offerings. If you don’t own a pair of Onia trunks yet, this is the collection to invest. The label’s taken their staple styles to the next level with introduction of new fabrics and prints. We see their signature Calder style in a lunar seersucker that’s extremely comfortable and so right for the warmer months. This season, they’re also continuing to use Liberty of London fabrics, this time delivering a couple different paisley finishes for your consideration.

Onia’s Summer 2013 collection is now available through their online store but a select number of retailers carry the goods as well, including Barneys, Saks and Theory.

IWC Schaffhausen has introduced three new Boutique models to extend the TOP GUN Pilot’s Watch squadron. A Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar, a Big Pilot’s Watch and a Pilot’s Watch Chronograph are all set to release bringing along some much-welcomed color to the overall IWC offerings. Available in limited numbers at IWC Boutiques worldwide, these watches feature red, green and blue hands and indices. Inspiration came from the cockpit instrument displays found in jets, which glow in various colours at night. The pieces are relatively light and feature ceramic cases while the back and crown are made of titanium.

From Roberu comes their Toscana Vachetta Leather iPhone 5 Case. The case features bright orange Italian leather that was vegetable tanned in Tuscany. From Bell & Ross comes the limited-edition Vintage BR 126 Blackbird. With inspiration coming from the Lockheed SR-71 stealth aircraft of the 1960s. This ‘Blackbird’ aircraft completed intelligence and photo tracking missions from 1960 to 1980. Its modern design and matte black finish that absorbed radar waves influenced the BR 126 as you can it features a black PVD finish and an anti-reflective domed sapphire crystal while its flyback chronograph movement offers pilot-friendly time saving functions. The BR 126 Blackbird comes on an orange canvas strap, to match the orange dial details, boxed with a black rubber strap as well.

The Bell & Ross Vintage BR 126 Blackbird is limited to 500 pieces with pre-orders being taken now by select stockists. The watch is due to ship in October.

With the E3 Expo fully underway in sunny Los Angeles, one of the most highly anticipated announcements of the day was the official unveiling of Sony’s PlayStation 4. It features powerful graphics and speed mixed with intelligent personalization and deeply integrated social capabilities that take advantage of the second-screen phenomenon. The games are said to be explosive and there’s a strong lineup of PlayStation exclusives that will make this purchase decision even easier. Some titles already announced for the PS4 include Killzone: Shadow Fall, inFamous Second Son, Driveclub and Knack as well as partner titles Destiny, Diablo III, Deep Down and Watch Dogs.

Some standout features of the PS4 include the new DUALSHOCK 4 controller with touch pad, three-axis accelerometer and three-axis gyroscope, and rechargeable battery. There are also two high-sensitive cameras with 85-degree diagonal angle views for enhanced depth perception. The controller’s connection powered via Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR while the system also features 802.11 b/g/n wireless network connectivity, Ethernet, and USB ports.

The Sony PlayStation 4 is due to release on December 31st but you can pre-order the console now through Amazon.

At this week’s WWDC, Apple has unveiled the latest version of their mobile Operating System, iOS 7. It’s the biggest overhaul to date and features a completely new design and hundreds of new features to boot. Some highlights include Control Center, AirDrop for iOS, and smarter multitasking. Everything looks different but the functionality is as you’ll remember it. The overall design is beautiful and simpler than before.
