"El nombre de la rosa (título original Il nome della rosa en italiano) es una novela histórica de misterio escrita por Umberto Eco y publicada en 1980. Ambientada en el turbulento ambiente religioso del siglo xiv, la novela narra la investigación que realizan fray Guillermo de Baskerville y su pupilo Adso de Melk alrededor de una misteriosa serie de crímenes que suceden en una abadía de los Apeninos ligures.

La gran repercusión de la novela provocó que se editaran miles de páginas de crítica de El nombre de la rosa, y se han señalado referentes que incluyen a Jorge Luis Borges, Arthur Conan Doyle y el escolástico Guillermo de Ockham.

This theme was created with a picture released by On Abbot Kinney, I liked too much and decided to modify for a google chrome theme. There are two resolutions, one for devices with screen resolutions of 1920x1200 and the other for bigger resolutions till 2600x1560 pixels.

Harley Quinn (Dra. Harleen Frances Quinzel) es una supervillana ficticia que aparece en cómics estadounidenses publicados por DC Comics, comúnmente como un adversario del superhéroe Batman. El personaje fue creado por Paul Dini y Bruce Timm, y apareció por primera vez en Batman: The Animated Series en septiembre de 1992. Ella apareció más tarde en los cómics de Batman de DC Comics, con su primera aparición en un cómic en The Batman Adventures #12 (Septiembre de 1993). A lo largo de sus representaciones animadas, ella aparece hablando con un acento neoyorquino pronunciado.

Otra faz en la narrativa de Gabriel García Márquez. Casi todas las obras de este gran autor se caracterizan por la presencia simultánea de ámbitos aparentemente alejados entre sí. Book Two Little Review:

"The Patrol" visits the loneliness of war in-between the times when the fighting is taking place. It searches the dark recesses of the human mind for the horrid truths about war. It is within these folds the story takes a unique paranormal twist.

"The Daily News" is what one might call a mothman story. Lonely roads, deserted towns, and strange out-of-place newsstands are but the makings for a quick little story.

"Determination" takes place in another time, in a society unlike what we call normal. These people have found a way to make their utopian society function, and they will go to no end to preserve that perfection.

"After the Ocolitz" follows the tale of young Lindsay, and her quest to see the white foxes that visit their garage. She has many questions, and her mother's hesitant voice only piques her curiosity.

"Working From Home" finds a young man, curious as to what his father does for a living. The more he pries, the more the door opens, until there is no going back.

"Branded" focuses on a gunfight, and the reader is thrown into the battle and the struggle to discern what crimes have led to this end. Can Jake unravel this mess before time is up?
