The good side is our ability to interact with people ALL over the world, and for the most part, not spend a lot of money doing it. I remember the days before social media when I had to pay for every cell phone minute I used when I was dating my husband. I would use the disposable cameras at our wedding to capture all the candid moments. I would receive 20 phone calls on my birthday from family and friends. Now our phones do more than just call. They enable us to connect with hundreds, even thousands of people.

The number of social networks that I maintain is astonishing: 2 email accounts, 2 Twitter accounts, a Facebook personal profile, 3 Facebook pages, 10 Facebook groups, Linkedin, Google+, Google+ page, Instagram, etc. I consider myself a social person. I love how social media makes the world smaller, but I have believed a lie that interacting with more people is better than interacting with fewer people. After some introspection lately, I’m no longer convinced. The reality is that people online have no idea who I really am, and at the same time, I don't know who people online really are.

When is the last time that you confided in someone online? I know I haven’t. I pick up the phone and call my close friends. I go to coffee and chat. Do the people online really know you? Have you ever met them? Would you invite them to your house, or introduce them to your spouse or your kids? Social media gives us a feeling of intimacy and closeness that doesn’t actually exist. We believe all these people online are our friends. We think these people really care about our lives and are invested in it.

I am not saying that social media is ALL bad, as I consider some of these people to be friends, and I’m thankful that social media has brought them into my life. I have some great stories of lost connections that I found via Facebook and Twitter exchanges that grew into a real-world friendship. But these situations are not as common as I would like them to be. If I would not be willing to get to know these people in real life, I am wasting my time building large networks of shallow relationships. I could use my time more wisely by deepening a few precious friendships with people upon whom I can truly rely.

In summary, social media is not bringing us closer together. In fact, it may be driving us farther apart, as we know more and more people, but know less and less about each of them. As I turn a year older, I am going to focus more on building stronger relationships with a few real friends and less on how many people are in my social networks.

While Pinkberry’s signature light, refreshing and clean finish frozen yogurt flavors are the perfect treat, Pinkberrygreek fresh yogurt is the perfect protein rich snack. Pinkberrygreek is a silky smooth all-natural, nonfat yogurt with a clean finish offering 15g of protein per 5oz with no added sugar, thickeners or preservatives. Each batch of Pinkberrygreek can be traced back to happy and healthy cows that live on a sustainable farm. Top it with fresh fruit, granolas and nuts, specialty chocolates and sweets, as well as, finishers like cinnamon honey, organic vanilla agave and strawberry puree.

Pinkberry created five signature recipes using fresh toppings to create yogurt experiences that are delicious and nutritious.

Chocolate Berry: Blueberry, raspberry, dark chocolate granola, chocolate shavings, cinnamon honey

Strawberry Mango: Strawberry, mango, strawberry puree, toasted almonds, shaved coconut

Kiwi Strawberry: Kiwi, strawberry, mango, honey almond granola, vanilla agave nectar

Tomato Basil: Grape tomato, fresh basil, olive oil, sea salt, balsamic glaze

Sunflower Cucumber: Cucumber, sunflower seed bites, olive oil, chili powder

I hate saying "No" to opportunities, but I am realizing I cannot be everywhere, do everything and be everyone. Opens doors for others.
— Jennifer (@RealPoshMom) March 13, 2013

This tweet started a great conversation online asking: "Why is it so hard to say "No!"?

"I don't want to miss out."
I struggle with this one the most. I am social person, and I always want to be in the middle of the action. As an entrepreneur, I also don't want to miss out on opportunity that could further my brand either. Unfortunately, attending events, having coffee meetings and being on TV, can take away a valuable asset that I call, "time." As I get older I value my time more...with my family, with my close friends and most importantly, alone with God. I need it. It is essential for me to be the best woman that He created me to be.

"I should take care of others first and then myself."
I find that this statement comes from who we think we should be, not what God wants for us. When we make choices based on an ideal image of ourselves — what a good friend would do, what a good mother would do, what a good wife would do — we end up taking God out of our lives. When you fly on an airplane, the flight attendant instructs you to put your oxygen mask on first, before helping others. If you run out of oxygen, you can’t help anyone else with their oxygen mask. This is an important metaphor for those of you who run around taking care of everything and everyone else except yourself. If you don’t take care of yourself, you can experience burnout, stress, fatigue, reduced mental effectiveness, health problems, anxiety, frustration, etc. You can read my post here when all of the above happened to me.

If I say "No," then they will not be my friend.
If this is true, then they were really never your friend. Healthy boundaries create healthy relationships. Boundaries are NOT about selfishness or self-serving. Boundaries are about freedom, and freedom is always meant to have love. You were called to be free.Use your freedom to serve one another in love.

Boundaries are about God’s restoring freedom to us, so that we could take control of our lives to be able to love Him and others. Ultimately, that is the fruit of boundaries, to love out of freedom, and with purpose.

Final thought to those who are around "people pleasers," offer help don't just ask them if they need it. Send words of encouragement and affirmation to them. Give them a hug and know that these are the greatest friends that you will ever have, for all they want to do is to make sure that you are loved.

What do you think? What is stoppin you in saying "No!"?

They aren't pretentious or redundant. They are unique, and the newest addition to the East Dallas restaurants, The LOT, is just that, and it really surprised me when I parked for a media lunch. I mean where can you go where you children can spend hours in a sandbox, your husband can watch his favorite sports on a big screen and you can sipping fresh pressed juice (like what you get at your local juice bar) on the patio while watching your kids have the time of their life?!

Your kids will love house-ground cashew butter and honey on grain. You can also enjoy this sandwich and take it up a notch by adding banana or bacon to it. Yes, I said BACON!

Culinary consultant Chef Sharon Hage also adds to The LOT menu items that stand out, such as the Texas Wagyu Beef Tongue sandwich with melted Swiss and sautéed red onion on rye (which my husband swears is the best tongue he has ever eaten), Turkey Meatloaf Sandwich with white cheddar, peppered bacon on sourdough and Sheffie's Sweet Skillet Cakes that are baked to order with flavors like salted caramel pecan, chocolate brownie or cinnamon apple with the creme-de-la creme Carnival Barker's ice cream on top.

The LOT is open Sunday through Thursday from 5PM to midnight (kitchen open until 10PM), and Friday and Saturday from 5PM to 2AM (kitchen open until 11 p.m.). Lunch service is slated to begin on Monday, March 25, 2013.

The city of Dallas has granted permission for a bridge to be built that will allow access from the Santa Fe Trail directly to the restaurant. “The ball is rolling,” confirms The LOT Owner John McBride. Imagine taking a walk or ride your bike around White Rock Lake and going down the Santa Fe Trail for food and drinks at The LOT.

Our family doesn't do Easter baskets. To us, too many holidays revolved around sweets and treats, and the holiday itself can lose its meaning. Our Easter tradition is to go to early church service on Easter, and then we head to an amazing brunch, where we talk, laugh and eat ourselves to the point that a nap is required. Here's a list of Easter brunches in DFW that you should make reservations and have fun with your family and friends:

What's the fastest way to get to Japan from Dallas? This is how I felt when I walked through the door of Shinsei Restaurant for a media lunch. The fish is flown in fresh. Then, sushi chef Shuji “Elvis” Sugawara goes to work on it, from head to tail. Maybe it's a big eye tuna, so shimmeringly fresh it looks as though it was just pulled into the boat. Maybe it's albacore tuna or unagi. Or maybe yellowtail, shrimp or sea urchin. The first thing that came to mind when I order sashimi is the Hawaiian sashimi. Shinsei's refreshing Hawaiian Sashimi is made with hiramasa, maui onion and hibiscus vinegar. The spicy tuna roll is a classic here. Add some wasabi and clear your sinuses. ;) Looking for something a little more fanciful?

Consider one of Shinsei's Regulars "off the menu" favorites, such as Ashby Roll, with spicy tuna roll topped with baked jumbo lump crab in habanero mayo, or the lovely Katina Crispy Rice, with spicy tuna on crispy rice topped with siracha and jalapeños. Shinsei means "rebirth" in Japanese. This is where you will find most divine sushi in Dallas.

Usually most of what you see is marketed as a kids movie, but some of the jokes are crude and geared toward adults. Fortunately, The CROODS proved itself to be a movie for everyone filled with stunning animation, suspense, laugh out loud moments and heart touching scenest. But even more I found something unexpected. THE CROODS is a rich story that bringing up the themes of family. It also shows us fear and how we can overcome it. I love the portrayal of the family and how creativity plays an important part in our life.

DreamWorks' THE CROODS hits theaters on March 22, 2013. It’s a film that follows this "first family" through a hilarious and outrageous "road trip" through the harsh “Croodaceous” time period. The dynamics of family are a huge part of THE CROODS, and one of the biggest dynamics is that between teenager Eep and her dad Grug. Director Kirk DeMicco added, “A true father-daughter story was pretty unique, and everyone was really engaged by that.”

Despite their tight family bond, the Croods’ world literally is crumbling around them. Eep’s growing rebellion against the physical and mental darkness of cave life also is causing friction with Dad. When she follows the light one night and meets a creative Guy who has knowledge and invents new things. Not only Guy's introduction to new technology, the protective father’s anxiety over his daughter’s first crush adds the depth of the movie. There are plenty of hysterical moments. My kids favorite character was a sloth named Belt, who is the closest thing Guy has to family. If you know the posh boy, a movie with a sloth in it is a win-win in his book. ;)

Whether it’s to laugh at the changes technology brings to this first family ever, or just to do a little thinking about life and how you always need to reach for the light, your family will want to join The Croods!

Note: The company behind Angry Birds will be launching The Croods app on March 14, 2013. Think Farmville meets “Croodaceous” land.
The Jo Malone Sugar & Spice Cologne Collection (Limited Edition) is hitting the market at the perfect time! That time being when we’re all sick of winter and muted neutrals and are ready for some tasty, pastel-hued fun. The collection consists of five English dessert inspired fragrances signed by perfumer Christine Nagel. The names of the perfumes are Lemon Tart, Redcurrant & Cream, Elderflower & Gooseberry, Ginger Biscuit and Bitter Orange & Chocolate, which sound good enough to eat!

My favorites are Redcurrant & Cream and Ginger Biscuit. Redcurrant & Cream is inspired by a summer fruit pudding and notes of red currants, strawberries, raspberries and creamy musk. Ginger Biscuit captures the scent of just baked cookies spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger and dipped in caramel. There are also some buttery toasted hazelnuts, tonka bean and vanilla.

The Jo Malone Sugar & Spice Cologne Collection is available at Neiman Marcus, and they complete your Easter and Spring wardrobe!
Zoës Kitchen is a popular, Mediterranean-inspired, fast-casual restaurant with nine locations in the DFW area. With their new mobile app, fans can find the closest Zoës location, set personal goals, learn more about Zoës menu and even earn points towards a free treat each time they visit a Zoës restaurant.
What I love about the Zoës Kitchen app is the convenience of ordering on-the-go. I can look at their menu, check out the nutritional value and place my order ALL in palm of my hand. Know someone with a gluten allergy? No problem. Scottsdale’s Sonoran Desert is a great place to spend the day to relax and rejuvenate the mind, body and soul. The desert’s curative climate, medicinal plants and therapeutic herbs create soothing teas, balms and poultices. For this reason, Scottsdale’s award-winning spas are rare gems that everyone should experience at least once a year or at least once in a lifetime. This past Saturday, I discovered the world of Scottsdale through one of their spas and fun dining.

The perfect day must start out with coffee. After a couple recommendation, my girlfriend and I headed to Cartel Coffee Lab in 5th Avenue in the heart of Scottsdale, where she ordered the creamy chai latte and I a rich, nutty espresso. Baristas at Cartel roast their coffee beans on site, which means everything is fresh. What a perfect place to start your retreat. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast sandwich.

Big Ben Sandwich

Needing some time of reflection, balance and harmony, I chose Spa Avania at Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch to awaken my senses with a beautiful backdrop of the Arizona’s Sonoran Desert. The spa’s treatments and regimens center around a “time-of-day” philosophy and how the body prepares to Awaken (morning), Balance (midday) and Renew (evening). I chose the Herbal Poultice Massage. The masseuse uses heat and herbs mixed with ginger and lemongrass to reduce aches and soothe muscle tension, and I have never felt sooo relaxed afterwards. The staff reserved a table for me to enjoy a guilt-free cuisine that will completed the whole relaxation experience.

Grilled Salmon Southwestern Salad

Spa Avania also features an outdoor French Celtic mineral pool and lotus pond, relaxation areas, steam and sauna, hot and cold plunges.

After having a relaxing day at the spa, it is time for some fun! Of course, my curious peaked when I discovered a restaurant called Posh. As a culinary explorer, its "improvisational cuisine" made me more excited to try this place out. Instead of a traditional menu, customers get a personal checklist to fill out. You indicate how many courses you want. There's a rundown of the day's featured meats and seafood, so you can mark whether you would like or not. You can also note how you like your meat cooked, whether you'll eat raw meat or fish, whether you want an all-vegetarian meal, etc. Even though you can specify your cravings, you won't know exactly what dishes you're getting until they arrive at the table as part of a multi-course tasting menu. Posh was well-prepared, seasonally fresh, and served in a series of small plates.

My girlfriend and I completed the fun day at an exclusive lounge called Citizen's R+D. You walk through an alley and come to a staircase, where you find posted rules on the outside of the building.

To paraphrase: no approaching women, no off-menu orders or substitutions, no yelling, no unsupervised entry, and charmingly, "No firearms. The Wild West era is over, let's keep it that way."You call the number at the bottom of the rule list. A man will come down and get you, if there is room, and will escort you. Once inside, the first thing you notice is that the place smells of burning sugar, which is like caramel, candy and all things wonderful to drink. The room is outfitted with black modern couches and dark-wood tables. A fireplace adds warmth and the art added style. It was the perfect way to end a relaxing and fun day in Scottsdale.

If you’re attending a convention or a conference over the next couple of months, you might want to prepare and set some goals to accomplish.

1. RESEARCH. Check the agenda for the conference. Highlight sessions that you don't want to miss. Start following the hashtag for the event. Follow the people who you have started a conversation with online. Also, see who will be sponsoring the event. Start connecting with these brands before thew event. Finally, make a list of people that you'd like to meet. Visit their blogs and read what is happening in their lives. This is great to know, so you have a conversation starter. Lastly, if possible, start saying hello to people on their twitter and Google+ streams.

2. PREPARE. Write a few of your best posts that really represent your mission statement for your blog leading up to conference. The likelihood of someone reading your blog right before or during the conference is high. This will also help you when sharing your "elevator pitch." Consider making a video and telling the world who you are. It is easier for someone to know who you are in action than by a static twitter avatar. ;) If you are live blogging, prepare ahead of time. Check all your gear that your are taking like tablets (charged), camera gear (charged & all-together), etc. Backup your laptop before you travel. Spend some quality time with your family before you leave for the conference. They are your BIGGEST fans!

3. PROMOTE. Order updated business cards. Make sure your name is BIG, and also make sure the preferred means of communication is FIRST. Make sure it is very clearly defined what you do or write about on your card. Make sure you are sharing with your followers that you are attending the conference by stating in an update or using the event hashtag and connecting with others. Practice, practice, practice how you will define what you do to others. (Believe in yourself!)

4. PACK. After checking out agenda, pack accordingly. Always bring a sweater or jacket. Conference rooms can sometimes be chilly. If you are sharing a room with someone, remember not to pack too much, so they don't have space in the room. Don't forget those nice business cards that you just bought. Consider an extra batteries or power supplies you might want to have on hand.

5. BREATHE. This is the most important one. Don't worry if you forget something. Don't stress if you didn't meet someone. Just take a deep breathe and do all that you can do. You are not required to go to ALL the sessions, parties or meet-ups. There other opportunities to connect with someone or some brand. Thanks to ALL the social networks. :)

Spa Avania in Scottsdale, AZ

I think EVERYONE should go to a spa resort once in their life. Here's how to get the most out of a spa experience. When you book your spa appointment, make sure you arrive at least an hour before your scheduled appointment for a couple of reasons. First, the spa will give you a tour of the facilities and all its amenities. This gives you an idea of how you may spend your day. Next, I highly recommend relaxing before your treatment by slipping into their steam room to get your mind and body ready.

Don't worry about what you will be wearing at the spa, as you will be provided with a locker, a robe and slippers. The only thing I recommend bringing is your swimsuit and possibly workout clothes. This gives you more options to take advantage of all the amenities.

After you have spent some time in the sauna, go to the waiting room (sometimes called a relaxation room) 5-10 minutes before your treatment is scheduled to start. Grab a glass of water and take a few deep breaths. The therapist will come and pick you up and escort you to the treatment room. In the room, the therapist will discuss the treatment. This is perfect time to ask questions if you have any and also let them know if you have any allergies. He or she will instruct you in how to get on the table - face up or face down - and leave the room. If you're getting a massage, you will take off your robe, hang it on a hook, and get underneath the towel or sheets. The therapist will knock before reentering.

At the end of the treatment the therapist will leave the room while you put your robe back on and wait outside for you to emerge. Grab another glass fo water to help your body hydrate itself after the treatment. You can return to the relaxation lounge to rest, proceed to your next treatment or you can enjoy the other amenities that the spa offers such as a dip in the pool or a light meal on the patio.
She had just moved to Dallas after living on the West Coast, East Coast and even St. Croix. Shona makes her own rules, which is one of the things I love about her.

I was so excited to see her passion poured out into SHŌNA, Reformed Vintage jewelry. What makes SHŌNA stand out from other jewelry is her statement pieces and bold designs. Shona creates one-of-a-kind “reformed vintage” masterpieces. She is greatly influenced by her travels and the fantastic diversity of fashion and style that she has observed over her lifetime. Environmentally and socially responsible, SHŌNA are hand-made pieces with reclaimed vintage materials and packages them in recycled cigar boxes.
With SUV, a parent can look sporty while also being functional. Unfortunately, SUV can make you feel like you are driving a bus if you are used to sedans. Recently my family put the 2013 Ford Explorer Sport to the test and found that Ford has listen to the voices of cautious SUV drivers of the past.

First thing you notice is how the exterior has changed from boxy to body similar to a crossover. Bravo, Ford! The Ford Explorer Sport has a noticeable black grille and the all-over black exterior accents, including the lower body cladding and Explorer-specific alloys.

The era of the truck-based SUV, and all of its handling and fuel-efficiency faults, has passed. The new hotness is focusing on the sport rather than the utility, and you can see this by the Ford Explorer Sport interior. The black leather-trimmed seats with sienna inserts were inspired by accessories and apparel from the design houses Balenciaga and Prada. How posh is that?!

But, let me get bak to my original point: the Ford Explorer Sport provides tools to help you stay safe while driving this 7-passenger SUV. What stood out to me as I test drove this vehicle was all the safety features. The rear-view camera system is amazing with its green-yellow-red alert, and when I say alert, I mean an alarm goes off if you are in the red...which I love!

Next, BLIS (blind spot information system) with cross-traffic alert is my second favorite feature. This technology warns you when a vehicle is in your blind spot. (And, you know those drivers who love to hang out in your blind spots. It also alerts you of approaching vehicles when backing out of a parking spot. Another great feature is the low-fuel notification with the estimated mileage you need before your tank runs dry.

Lastly, I was impressed with attention to safety detail of the Ford Explorer Sport with the inflatable rear seatbelt airbags along with the

Based on the hit 2002 movie with the same name, Catch Me if You Can tells the story of Frank as he goes from teenager to FBI’s most wanted. Catch Me if You Can combines classic Broadway with a modern touch, making it a fantastic musical for a date night out. Catch Me if You Can greatly mimics the movie in both plot and dialogue. The major difference, though, is the interjections of musical numbers within the show, bringing the action to the bigger-than life Broadway style.

Every character was played to its fullest. Merritt David Janes, who played Carl Hanratty, was fantastic. His portrayal of the obsessive FBI agent was compelling, and his bluesy voice helped bring the audience into the story. Playing Frank Abagnale, Jr., Stephen Anthony's lovely singing voice is what brought the show to life, and his comedic timing was impeccable. He single-handedly fought his way through the show, depicting the lovable crook so common in old Broadway shows.

Dallas Summer Musicals brings Catch Me if You Can to the Musical Hall in Fair Park from Tuesday, February 12 through Sunday, February 24, 2013. You can purchase your tickets here. With all of these opportunities to see the show, why would you miss it? So, come see Catch Me if You Can at the Musical Hall at Fair Park, and enjoy a date night out.

Disclosure: Dallas Summer Musicals gave me two tickets to experience the show. My opinions are my own.
This week, I was invited to visit Frisco's newest barbecue joint called 3 Stacks Smoke & Tap House. As soon as you walk in, you smell the delicious smoked meat, hear country music and see a murals painted on the brick walls done by Deep Ellum's Frank Campagna.

3 Stacks offers black angus brisket, baby back ribs, beef short ribs, pulled pork, smoked turkey breast and their housemade smoked sausage. 3 Stacks brings partners with "The Rib Whisperer," Trace Arnold as he shares his expertise, tips and tricks on smoking meat. Specially blended rubs created by Arnold are applied to the brisket, ribs, turkey and chicken.

But, let me get back to the brisket. Using quality Black Angus beef, Arnold smokes the brisket for 14 hours over mesquite and pecan woods, hand rubs and hand slices with spice that took him 10 years to perfect. After one bite, I can tell you it will have your taste buds dancing. The meat melts in your mouth that you have to have another bite. My favorite must-have side item is their Jalapeño Fire Crackers, hand stuffed jalapeño with this brisket and three-cheese wrapped with bacon and smoked. IT IS AMAZING!

The commitment to great food spreads across the entire 3 Stacks menu, as they serve only FRESH, never frozen, farm-to-table vegetables. My favorite sides were their Baked Beans, Vegetable Skewers and Cheesy Corn Bake with roasted poblano peppers. They also bake their Yeast Rolls, Jalapeño Cornbread and southern-style drop Biscuit daily.

Owner Jason Hall states, "Our commitment is to consistently create amazing flavors by using the freshest ingredients...based on our selection of regional ingredients."

They also offer homemade root beer in a chilled mug and lemonade made fresh-to-order. 3 Stacks has a finger-lickin kids menu (grilled cheese, homemade mac & cheese, chicken tenders, etc) that comes with a small hot fudge sundae. Bring the whole family and prepare to be stuffed like those jalapeños! ;)
The story brings together far-flung favorite characters like Red Riding Hood, Pinocchio, Rumplestiltskin and Jiminy Cricket. At the center of the show is the tale of Snow White and Prince Charming's love story sabotaged by the Evil Queen in one world and Regina the mayor in the other.

VSA Designs Crown used in Once Upon a Time

Want to look like you belong in a fairy tale? Virgins Saints & Angels' (VSA) newest collection is inspired by Snow White and the Evil Queen. They created two collections for the line, one with delicate angelic pieces and the other with an edgier gothic collection.

The Snow line incorporates soft pink and pure white-colored Swarovski Elements, while the Queen collection includes deep red and jet-colored crystals with dragon or spider accents. These two distinct collections were designed to compliment each other and work seamlessly when layered together. The collection incorporates ornate jewelry pieces consisting of necklaces, rings, cuffs, hair pins, and of course, crowns and tiaras.

Which character represents your style? The sensitive vulnerability Snow White or the bold confidence Evil Queen?

Fortunately, long gone are the days of sad bins of tired-looking ingredients in self-serve salad bars. Let me introduce you to Greenz, a fusion salad restaurant. Greenz offers fresh soups, sandwiches, specialty salads, appetizers and even homemade desserts. With a focus on health without compromising taste, Greenz offers a wide range of Gluten Free, Heart Healthy, Vegan and Points-Based Diet options. Greenz even offers handy little sheets right when you walk in the door with all of their menu items that meet these criterion.

Founded in Dallas in 2004, Greenz has grown into three locations. They have recently updated their Uptown Dallas location with a new physical design and new owner, Joel Stabile. “I feel like this opportunity was a perfect storm: a great location, a superior product and a fantastic support system under Greenz CEO and Founder, Casie Caldwell,” said Stabile. “I don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Everything I need to be a success is right in front of me and all I have to do is work hard to keep up the standards that are already in place.”

Fortunately, they have the same great taste with a modern look. The Warm Pear & Goat Cheese is fantastic, especially if you enjoy goat cheese and a sweet flavor combination.

The Grilled Southwestern Shrimp is an interesting mix of sweet and spicy with sweet potato straws on top.

You can also build your own salad all made from fresh delicious ingredients. By the way, don't forget to check-in with Foursquare when you visit. They have a great "check-in special." :)

Look for Greenz in Houston, Texas coming in 2013!
With more than 37 locations at 24 U.S. airports, it's now easier than ever to take advantage of low airfares and plan a getaway. Where you park matters, and The Parking Spot offers an experience that will change the way you think about airport parking.

The entire process is simple, convenient and affordable. When you enter the parking lot, you will pull up to a kiosk where you will receive a ticket to enter. You have the option to park in Covered Parking or in Open-air Parking. But, wait! They have an additional service - Car Care, where you can have your car washed by hand and even detailed.

Shuttles are constantly running and take you from your car directly to the airport. The drivers are friendly and helpful. They will provide assistance loading your bags onto the van and ask which airline you’ll be flying on to ensure you arrive at the correct terminal for your departure. They hand you a ticket with information of where exactly your car is located. When you return, hand this ticket to the driver this ticket, and they will drop you off exactly where you parked - talk about posh service. ;) The shuttle is comfortable with leather seats.

When departing the parking lot, you’ll pay the cashier at the booth. The cashier will offer you a complimentary bottles of water, if you'd like. What a way to finish the end of travel! The Parking Spot should definitely be an option if available near your local airport.

I am giving a lucky reader a one-week parking voucher from The Parking Spot. Tweet to @TheParkingSpot where you would like to park yourself on a vacation along with the hashtag #PoshParking. The giveaway will end at 5PM on January 31, 2013.

Disclosure: The Parking Spot gave me a one-week parking voucher to review their service. However, my opinions are entirely my own, and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.
