The 4th Thursday will remain at CHOP's Teen Club.

Parking is in front of the building on Mendocino Ave. or also on the North side of the school right next to the Junior College parking lot. There is also a rear entrance to our room from that parking lot.

The 312 Chinn St. Center will definitely remain a P.I. space. The gender awareness group, board meetings, intern and peer counseling all meet at the Center--also where the incredible reading and video library, and gender exploration closet are. The Center is open to the public and staffed weekdays M-F from 1 to 5pm.

PI on Outbeat Salon (1 of 3)

Positive Images members Randy, D'ken, Junior, Hector, and guest Tony tell us about their story and share their views on Freedom. Because it's a way to make regular additions to the website (the blog can still appear within the frame structure of the site), and we can have as many different contributors as we want in our group (Jim, Nancy, Chandra, Jonathan, etc...), all posting to the same blog. We could post announcements, write recaps of major PI events, including random stories and thoughts, rants, calls to action, whatever!

Also, we can run the feed through feedburner so visitors to the site can subscribe and automatically receive each update as it occurs, in the feedreader of their choice. Or, they can elect to enter their email to receive automatic notification of new posts. So it's a great way to push content to our audience, and not just written content. Photos, audio, and video can be posted as well.

For instance, I could use it when I've just posted a new set of photos from an event. I would post one of them to the blog and write a little blurb saying that there's new photos to be seen, and within that entry, create a link to the regular photos page. So it's an announcement and a teaser in one. It would be here on the website, as well as pushed to everyone who has chosen to subscribe to the blog. I'm thinking this could replace the "What's New" page, which has been pretty static for a "new" page. I think it could be handy. It's powered by Blogger, so the interface is easy for each of us to login and make posts. Whaddaya think? Any questions?

<media:rating>nonadult</media:rating>
Nurturing a positive self-image for queer youth, and fostering a deeper understanding of diversity in sexual and gender identity.
