I’m really excited to this piece being created into an art print.  ”China Cheerleader” measures 15 x 20 inches and is a small signed/numbered edition.  All 50 prints are handpulled giving them that one of a kind feeling.  ASVP is a New York based artistic team of two that began working together over 8 years ago and has more than 20 years of combined creative experience.  This print is currently available at 1xrun.

Joshua Budich & Rhys Cooper have each done a concert print for two upcoming shows for the Mark Lanegan Band.  Each piece is beautifully and the detail is amazing by these two very talented artists.  These can both be had at Beyond The Pale and the specs on each are below:

The very talented Audrey Kawasaki has just released a brand new piece titled “Where I Rest”.  This is an open edition print, with no time limit.  This is an unlimited edition, so anyone can purchase at any time!  ”Where I Rest” is a giclee print on archival paper that measures 15 x 22.5 inches.  Signed by Audrey and is available on her website.

Looks like Gibralter has a new piece headed our way.  ”Officer Down” is based on Gibraltar’s street stencil piece shortly after 911 remembering our fallen heroes.  This piece measures 18 x 25 inches and is signed/numbered by the artist.  Also, this piece will be available in three different colorways.  You find out more information on this in Gibralter’s online store.  Onsale time for “Officer Down” is Sunday, February 26th at 3pm (EST).

“Night Mask” is tonight’s featured print at Tiny Showcase.  This piece measures roughly 5.6″ wide by 7.5″ and is an edition of 100.  This edition has been printed by Tiny Showcase and ships with a corresponding certificate of authenticity.  Available unframed or hand-framed in ash with archival mat and glass by Providence’s Joel Taplin of Taplin MFG. Framed artwork is archivally matted and hung with UV-protective glass.  The hand-made frames are made from locally-milled ash with inlaid ash splines in each corner for added strength.

From the vaults of 2008 comes a never released and long requested art print. This print was originally designed for an art print series that didn’t work out and the prints have been sitting in Justin’s poster vault for four years aging like a fine wine. They’re in mint condition like the day they were printed!

The exercise from an artist standpoint was to create a Noir Pop Art print in the tradition of Roy Lichtenstein.  He appropriated romance comic book pages of the era making them into large oversized art prints emphazing the blown up dot pattern from the comic page enlarged to a size it was never meant to be. This piece is from a panel of a comic story of Justin’s own so rather than “borrowing” from a comic book artist he’s riffing on his own work.

This is an oversized five color screen print on 100 lb stock measuring 20 x 36 inches.  Signed and numbered in an edition of only 150 copies.  Although this could now be seen as a vintage print, Just is offering it for a price as a new release.  Released on Friday, February 24th on Justin’s website.

On Thursday, March 1st, LifeVersa will be releasing the first screen print from his “Grey Makes A Wonderful Backdrop” online exhibition.  The print is titled “A President’s Tale” and is a limited edition of 50 pieces (available here).  Hand signed/numbered and measures 18 x 24 inches.  Printed on 100% cotton rag archival paper.  A variant edition of 25 will also be released (available here).

In the meantime, 10 complete sets of the “Grey Makes A Wonderful Backdrop” exhibition series will be available for pre-order this Thursday, February 23rd.  Approximately every month from March 2012, I’ll be releasing a limited edition screen print from the “Grey Makes A Wonderful Backdrop” exhibition. Emek, like usual, is dropping another amazing piece on us.  The “Womb” poster was created for Womb Gallery, where Emek had his New Years Eve show.  This is an artist edition of 100, on heavy cream paper.  This is a silkscreen that measures 18 x 24 inches.  Signed, numbered, embossed and doodled by Emek.
