<p>I was out of sweet potatoes so I had to improvise and use regular potatoes. I had a tough lifting day and I figure that any sort of carb is better than no carbs for glycogen restores. <br /></p>

      <title>Let the Refeed Begin</title>

	<p>After going low carb for the last few weeks, I thought I would do a refeed today. Here is what I am having for lunch.</p>
<ul>
<li>Half of a chicken (mix of dark and white meat)</li>
<li>3 cups sweet potato</li>
<li>1 cup yellow onion</li>
<li>1 cup red pepper</li>
<li>1 small can of tomato sauce</li>
<li>Chicken broth</li>
</ul>

      <title>It's Lunch Time</title>

<p>I had one of my favorite meals for lunch today. Meat and sweet potatoes with vegetables. I could eat this every day. I washed it all down with a protein shake made up of a protein powder, banana and some strawberries. As you might be able to tell, today was a lifting day so my carb intake is up.</p>
<p>Today's workout consisted of more density training</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>Squats and Push Presses for 7 minutes</li>
<li>Lunges and Arnold Presses for 7 minutes</li>
<li>Followed by an intense ab session.</li>
</ul>

      <title>Standing Desk</title>

	<p>I thought I would try standing at my desk today to see how I liked it. If it is something I can see myslef doing long term, I may have my desk raised so I dont have to use a box. I also came up with some clever moves to help with the experience. <div class='p_embed p_image_embed'>

</p>I had this bad boy in the crockpot all night. It was my first time not only making it but also eating it. It turnd out fantastic and I can see me making it again. The only downside has been the burps it has given me.

      <title>Tough Sleep</title>

<p>I know I am breaking a very important Primal rule with my sleeping habits lately. As you can see from the picture below, I have been sleeping on a hospital pull out bed. It&rsquo;s cold, short, and makes a horrible squeaking noise every time.&nbsp; The one thing it does give me though is the ability to stay at the hospital with my wife and newborn son. Heck, I would sleep on the floor if it meant that I was at the hospital with them.<p />I am looking forward to the day that we can all go home together and enjoy our own beds.<p /><br /></p>

<p>Today we went to a BBQ place called <a href="http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&amp;source=web&amp;cd=1&amp;ved=0CCMQFjAA&amp;url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.smokehousebbq.com%2F&amp;rct=j&amp;q=SmokeHouse%20BBQ&amp;ei=oUltTcLyMIOglAfmmtmbBQ&amp;usg=AFQjCNEHDmMW-myAwZ1HWYb230hS0rRh5g&amp;sig2=jYnsDTZpLJoAPpFlwPnyKQ&amp;cad=rja">Smoke House BBQ</a>. I ordered a platter meant for 2 but was a little disappointed by the amount of meat that I ended up receiving. In fact, I would say that it was barely enough to feed one. I was supposed to get 2 pieces of chicken, some sausage, and two ribs. I got all of that but most of the pieces with the exception of the sausage lacked any sort of substantial meat.<p />Even though I had enough BBQ sauce on my plate to reclassify this meal as a soup, I found the meat to be extremely dry and without much flavor.<p />On a scale of 1-10 I would rate this place a 4 and I left feeling unsatisfied.<div class='p_embed p_image_embed'>

<p>This isnt a very good picture but its all I had. I put a whole skinless chicken in the crockpot last night with some spices  and awoke to this glorious site! 5 bucks for the chicken and my wife and I should be able to eat off of it for a few days.</p>
