See Why + My Favorite Glass Storage Bowls

In a perfect world, I'd love the idea of using glass for this purpose. In the real one, glass is heavy and breakable, and I have to deal with the flimsy shelves in the refrigerators that our building decided were good enough for us. If I start piling heavy glass storage containers in there, the supports would snap, the glassware and everything else on the shelves would come crashing down, and I'd be left with a slurry of food and broken class to clean up, and some explaining to do to the landlord, who probably wouldn't be amused.

If the author has a way of addressing these concerns, I'd be interested. Otherwise, like most people, I can only do what I can do and hope for the best.
