It has a 1.80 Intel core duo processor. A "duo" processor means that you take the processor speed and double it. It shipped with 512MB of RAM and an 80 GB hard drive. It originally sold for $1900 dollars, now you can find one much cheaper on eBay for about $500 dollars. It weighs 5.8 pounds with a dell latitude d630 battery which is a little heavy for a modern laptop. It has a 14.1 inch LCD display that is bright and clear and great for playing games or watching video on.

Combine such superb battery life with one of the other new additions, the integrated HSDPA adapter, and you've got a perfect mobile companion. For a laptop so obviously suited to a life on the road, it's reassuring that build quality is well up to scratch. A single catch holds the lid in place when it's in a bag, and despite weighing just 2.4kg every aspect of the build feels like it will last a lifetime.

That's not to say the Dell is out of its depth back in the confines of an office. The keyboard is a superb example, boasting full-sized keys with a lovely, positive feel, and is only bettered by that of HP's 6910p. The touchpad and trackpoint are equally praiseworthy. Performance has also taken a leap forward, thanks to the considerably faster Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 processor. Allied with 2GB of memory, this powered the Dell to a fine 1.15 in our benchmarks.

The notebook also incorporates a thorough set of features for business -- including corporate-level security measures and optional WWAN -- for a lower price than competitors such as the Lenovo ThinkPad T61. It's enough to tempt even longtime ThinkPad users to make the switch. Businesses can't go wrong choosing the Dell Latitude D630.

We like the subdued design of the Dell Latitude D630; its grey exterior and black interior will fit into even the most buttoned-up corporate environments. More important, the notebook's magnesium alloy case brings an extra sturdiness that you don't see on consumer systems, and its display hinges are reinforced for the long haul. With its standard battery, the Latitude D630 battery weighs 2.3kg, but our review unit included an extended battery that brought its weight up to 2.6kg. That's near the outer limit for a thin-and-light system, though just 181g heavier than the Lenovo ThinkPad T61. With its AC adapter, the Dell hits the road at 3kg, which is manageable for travel but not something we'd want to carry with us every day.

Specification:

Processor: Intel T7300 Core 2 Duo (2.0GHz, 800MHz FSB, 4MB Cache)

Graphics: Intel GMA X3100

Operating System: Windows Vista Business 32-bit

Display: WXGA+ 1440 x 900 (matte)

Hard Drive: 80GB 540RPM

Memory: 512MB (512MB x 1), up to 4GB max

Optical Drive: DVD +/- RW

Battery: 9-cell 85WHr

Security: UPEK fingerprint reader

Pointing device: Touchpad or Track Stick

Intel 3945 WLAN (802.11a/g) mini Card

Dell Wireless 360 Bluetooth Vista Module

USA keyboard

Dimensions: 13.3" x 9.37" x 1.09 - 1.27" (337mm x 238mm x 27.6 - 32.3mm)

Weight: 5.1lbs with DVD drive and 6-cell, 5.8lbs with 9-cell, 6.6lbs with AC adaptor and 9-cell

3 Year warranty, In-Home Service, International

Being a business class laptop, the D630 is very sober in its design and color. It comes with a two-tone matte black-and-gray chassis that looks quite elegant. The construction material is sturdy – the lid and underside of the laptop are made from magnesium alloy. This imparts the body of the Dell D630 battery a certain amount of stiffness, which eliminates any squeaks that might develop over time. The hinges, while not super reinforced as in Lenovo's products, are quite sturdy, nicely designed, and long-lasting.

Another good thing we noticed is that the area surrounding the LCD panel is thicker than normal, that is, the screen is a bit more recessed than usual. This helps to prevent the screen from developing LCD pattern problems that could occur if excessive pressure is applied on the laptop.

This is Dell's first notebooks to support 3.6Mbits per second HSDPA mobile broadband. You get access by inserting a SIM card behind the battery. It's an exclusive tie up with Vodafone, who demands a monthly subscription for the service. However, the unit isn't locked to Vodafone so you could insert any old sim card but Dell won't offer support if you do this.

Under the left palm are situated the 2W speakers, witch have quite a good quality. Very accessible are the quick mute and volume buttons witch are situated just on top of the keyboard.

There are two batteries included in the package, one of them is a standard six-cell battery an extended nine-cell dell latitude d620 battery that juts out from the front of the chassis. Tests have proven that the values for the life of the batteries are not bad at all, the Dell has achieved two hours and 30 minutes for the 9 cell battery and one hour and forty minutes with its standard battery.

In a world where manufacturers regularly adjust key width and placement to fit the width of their notebooks, we appreciate the Dell Latitude D630's standard keyboard, which is quite comfortable for pounding out emails and Word documents. If you don't like the flat-headed pointing stick (not unlike that found on a ThinkPad) with two dedicated mouse buttons below the space bar, you can use the wide, rectangular touchpad, which has its own activation buttons on the wrist rest. If you opt for biometric security (as we did on our system), Dell squeezes a fingerprint reader between the touch pad's buttons; we appreciate the added security but wish the buttons were a bit larger. Above the keyboard sit all the media controls you'll need on a business notebook: volume up, volume down and mute. For a business system, the Latitude D630 has some pretty nice speakers; although the sound became muddled at high volumes, sound in the lower three-quarters of the volume range was full and balanced.

The Dell Latitude D630 battery includes most of the ports and connections we'd expect on a thin-and-light, plus a few extras. It lacks S-Video-out and a multiformat flash card reader (neither of which is essential for business users), but the Latitude D630 does add one more USB port than average, plus a serial port for use with older, specialised peripherals. In addition, the Latitude D630 piles on corporate-level security measures, including not only a fingerprint reader but also a smart card slot and an internal Trusted Platform Module. Another noteworthy feature is the Latitude D630's Wi-Fi On/Off switch, which incorporates a Wi-Fi finder. Sliding the switch past the On position lets you test for nearby Wi-Fi networks, whether you're booted up or powered down on don't even have to turn your system on to find a network.

The fully configurable Latitude D630 can come pre-loaded with new Windows VistaTM , Windows XP or FreeDOS to suit your business needs. IT decision-makers will appreciate the optional encrypted or solid-state* hard drives, along with D-family peripheral commonality. Users will appreciate the multiple graphics cards options, and the added productivity boost of the optional brighter WXGA panel.

This full-featured mainstream laptop enhances the previous generation Latitude D620 with the latest Intel® Core™2 Duo processors, your choice of Intel integrated graphics or NVidia® discrete graphics, and new levels of customisation.

We don't think so. Flash is cool, because it's expensive, and because it does provide significant performance advantages (when SLC flash is used). But while our results are interesting for most users, they will be shocking to road warriors. You will see very clearly in the benchmark section that theory and real life are sometimes entirely different.

We still believe that flash-based drives will be the future for the performance segment, but they must not become a key component for energy-efficient notebooks and ultra-portables — where performance is secondary — as long as their average power consumption is higher than that of conventional 2.5" notebook hard drives. In fact, even a high-performance 7,200 RPM 2.5" drive provided better overall battery runtime than most of the flash SSDs we put through the Mobilemark test.

Dell Latitude D630 is a premium unit with increased specifications separating it from the D530, but trailing the D430 model. This model's design is focused on mobility while functioning as a reliable business tool, while its price, starting at $1,085 reflects its position within the Latitude line-up. The Intel Core 2 Duo processor works with a 2.33 GHz CPU speed, and the graphics are supported by a standard Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100. The 14.1" WXGA display is compact and is intended for users sensitive to weight and mobility. What separates the D630 from lower Latitude models is its connectivity package. Found standard is Intel PRO/Wireless 802.11a/g/Draft-N and Wireless 360 Bluetooth, while Built-in WiFi Catcher increases the laptops network connecting capabilities. There is still room for customizable options on the toshiba satellite 2410 battery, from optical drive to security features like the UPEK finger print reader to help protect user privacy.

Dell has recently emerged with its all new Note Book model Latitude TM D630 to provide an end - to - end solutions to its customers. With about 9.4 hours battery back up and the mobile nature these notebooks are definitely going to capture the market. ?Customers are sending us the message that they want mobile products with the latest features but no added complexities that can distract them from building their businesses,? said Margaret Franco, director, Dell Product Group. With hard drive that enables utmost security without any performance thrashing Latitude D630 notebooks displays are up to 38 percent brighter than the previous inventions. They have HyperConnectTM features that permit users to work from practically anyplace with integrated 802.11n wireless connectivity for increased throughput and range. Dell is also coming out in few days with an Optional solid state (SSD) drive weeks that delivers performance, dependability and stability as the flash-based storage would not have moving parts.

The Dell Latitude D630 battery replacement is a decently compact and nicely designed chassis with an awesome line of options available. As tested, there is no doubt that a notebook such as this would cater to most business and home users alike. However, the Latitude line is not available for sale under Dell's Home and Home Office section. Move onto Small and Medium-sized Businesses, and you will find it, but to order from here, you'd need a business license to order from that section.

The way Dell gleefully installed Windows XP without much clutter-ware bodes well for repeating and/or large corporate orders, and a solidly built system (besides the keyboard), a well designed keyboard and pointing system, as well as its light weight and long battery life helps push the D630 up the corporate ladder's favorites list.

Brand New Dell LATITUDE PPX Laptop Battery Pack

This is a dell latitude ppx battery which can replacement for Dell 1691P, 312-0009, 5081P, 66912, 75UYF ,8208U etc. It's precision-engineered and rigorously tested for voltage, capacity, compatibility and safety to exceed original equipment manufacturer specifications!

This Dell replacement battery pack is a 4400MAH, 14.8V, rechargeable, Lithium Ion battery designed to fit in Dell Latitude PPX laptop. Beneath the touchpad, embedded in the bezel, are DVD/CD controls that illuminate when pressed.

The Inspiron E1505 reviewed here was configured as follows:

Intel Core Duo Processor T2500 at 2.0 GHz per core.

15.4" Ultrasharp SXGA+ display with TrueLife

512MB DDR2 533MHz RAM in dual channel mode

Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950

100GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive

8X DVD +/- dual layer recorder

53 watt-hour 6-cell battery

The 15.4-inch UltraSharp widescreen display delivered strong colors when watching DVDs, even from a variety of angles. The speakers, which are located on either side of the playback controls, produced surprisingly good sound, even though the bass was a bit weak. This configuration has an 80GB hard drive for storing your digital music collection, along with gobs of photos and videos.

The Dell 6400 battery core duo processor is some of the newest and best technology. If you are like me, you like to do a hundred different things at once. And that is perfect with this processor.

The core duo makes it very easy to do things at the same time. You can run your anti-virus software and check your email at the same time and not worry about things getting slowed down.

The 1.66GHz processor is very fast with today's programs. However, ff you plan on keeping your laptop for a long time you might want to upgrade to a little bit faster like the 1.83 GHz or the 2GHz.

Storage space starts out at a respectable 60GB hard drive. You can beef the size of the drive up to 120GB for $75 or make it a faster 7,200rpm drive for $175, depending on whether you want more space or higher performance.

The optical drive on this portable computer isn't top of the line, just a basic CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive. This drive will burn audio and data and play DVD movies, but it can't handle any DVD media burns. If you want a DVD writer, Dell offers an upgrade to a Dual Layer DVD burner for a reasonable $30 over baseline. This drive can handle CD and DVD burns as well as burns to high capacity DL media that stores up to 8.5GB on a single disk.

These Inspiron E1505 battery portable computers ship with Windows XP Media Center operating system, so they're well suited for handling multimedia files. There's no TV tuner built in, so if you want to use these laptops for watching and recording television, you'll have to add an external tuner. They do offer Dell's MediaDirect software so you can play music CDs or DVD movies without having to boot up the entire operating system.

Dell Home Systems Inspiron E1505 is a laptop powered with Intel Dual Core processor, DDR2 Dual Channel memory and 15.4-inch Ultrasharp SXGA+ widescreen LCD display with TrueLife. The notebook aims to deliver quality entertainment experience beside unbeatable productivity.

Although this is a mid-range computer, an important benefit that the Dell Inspiron 6400 battery offers is the Intel Core Duo dual processor. While I have never been someone who pushes the limits of what his computer can do, I do utilize some applications that are processor-intensive. For example, which is a part of the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence through the University of California at Berkeley. This means that my computer is processing radio-telescope data from the observatory in Arecibo, Puerto Rico for signs of extraterrestrial intelligence. While this program only uses the unused processor cycles, so it operates seamlessly with whatever else one may be running, a benefit to the Core Duo processor is that the Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop is able to process double the data compared to a computer with just a single processor.

The more RAM your laptop has, the faster programs will run and the greater number of windows you can work in at one time. If your needs are simple and you rarely do more than two things at once on your PC, the relatively modest amount of memory that comes installed in inexpensive laptops will be enough. Today the standard amount of RAM shipped in most PCs is 2GB. If you like to multitask--say, you want to launch a search for a file and start backing up data to a disc while you watch a news video--you need more memory.

The new model weighs 0.4 pound less than its predecessor and contains a raft of upgraded components, including Intel Core Solo or Core Duo processors in speeds up to 2GHz; up to 2GB of swift 533MHz RAM; and a screaming 7,200rpm, 100GB hard drive. In keeping with its multimedia bent, the E1505's 15.4-inch wide-screen display comes in WXGA or WSXGA native resolutions. Like its larger sibling, the E1705, the dell inspiron 1521 battery includes Dell's MediaDirect feature, which plays CDs and DVDs and lets you access photos and other media files stored on your hard drive without booting up Windows first. There's also a full suite of ports and connectors, including FireWire, VGA, S-Video, and four USB 2.0 ports, plus both PC Card and ExpressCard slots.

The Dell E1505 and Dell Inspiron 6400 battery systems are available immediately in the Americas. The $929 starting configuration includes an Intel Core Solo T1300 processor, Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, 512 MB DDR2 memory, 40 GB(2) hard drive, six-cell battery, and one-year limited warranty.(7) A similar configuration with a Core Duo T2300 processor starts at $979.

Acer TravelMate 290 Review

The Acer TravelMate 290 series is one of the most handsome, versatile, and long-lasting budget laptops on the market. It comes with Intel Centrino technology and costs as little as AU$2499 for the bare-bones configuration, though we recommend a few upgrades; the price difference to add a DVD burner to the Acer TravelMate 290 battery is pretty good value for a notebook. While the price may say mainstream notebook, many of the features scream thin-and-light laptop. For instance, you can swap media modules in the TravelMate 290 series, which you can't do with most mainstream notebooks. It also achieved extra-long battery life in our Labs' drain tests. Despite a few design letdowns, students and families on tight budgets should give it serious consideration.

Editor's Note: The Acer Travelmate tested here varies ever so slightly from the locally available version; in the US the memory specification drops to 128MB and various hard drive sizes are available.
Although the Acer TravelMate 290 series falls into the mainstream category, the laptop's case measures a trim 3.2cm and weighs 2.8kg (3.2kg with the AC adapter). The chassis is 33.2cm wide by 27.4 inches deep, making room for a 14-inch screen in a purplish-silvery, titanium-alloy lid. The dark-grey, plastic base features a rubber shock absorber directly under the hard drive. The well-designed lid latch opens easily with one hand.

Acer's big keyboard is a letdown. Unlike the mildly U-shaped, hand-friendly keyboards found on other Acer notebooks, the TravelMate 290 battery features a straight one. It operates quietly, but it sags under pressure and gives poor feedback. The important keys are large, as you'd expect for the chassis size, and the touchpad is also spacious and smooth, with two mouse buttons below it. (There's no pointing stick.)

Icons and text appeared nice and big when displayed at the screen's native resolution of 1,024x768, but colours looked a bit washed out, especially reds and yellows. DVD movies surprised us when they made a slightly jerky start, even at two-thirds screen. Speaking of DVD movies, they load easily into the front-loading DVD drive HP Pavilion dv8000 battery. The swappable media bay can also hold a DVD-R/-RW burner, a rare option on a budget notebook. Stereo speakers at the left and right corners of the front edge sound raspy when turned up high, but at a reasonable office volume, they play speech and music clearly.

The TravelMate 290 offers plenty of ports and slots for the average user. It features three USB 2.0 ports, a single Type II PC Card slot, four-pin FireWire, parallel, Ethernet, modem, VGA/video-out, and S-Video-out ports. There's no built-in floppy drive, but you can attach an external floppy via USB.

The notebook ships with either the Windows XP Home or the XP Professional operating system. You also get a healthy mix of additional software, including Norton AntiVirus, Adobe Acrobat Reader, CyberLink PowerDVD XP 4.0, and NTI CD-Maker 6.0.

The Acer TravelMate 290 is the fastest 1.3GHz Pentium M-based system we've tested yet, easily beating its closest competitor. The Intel 82852 GME Extreme Graphics Controller shares system memory, but surprisingly, this architecture did not hurt performance as much as we've seen in the past. Acer configured the TravelMate 290LMi so that its processor would not throttle down too much, giving it a performance edge. When it comes to office and content-creation apps, the dell xps m1730 battery is one of the best mobile performers in its class.

In battery tests, the Acer TravelMate 290LMi lasted more than five hours, placing second to the IBM Thinkpad R40, but still in a very healthy spot. The system owes its great battery life to its power-efficient Pentium M processor and 14.8V, 4,300mAh (64WHr) battery. The IBM ThinkPad R40 came in first place using the same 1.3GHz Pentium M processor as the battery for TravelMate 290 and a less powerful 14.4V, 4,000mAh (58WHr) battery. Acer has once again achieved the elusive balance of great performance and long battery life when running office and content-creation apps.

Dell Inspiron 1520 Battery Won't Charge

My Dell Inspiron 1520 battery will not charge. My AC Adapter is fine and powering the laptop, but the battery, that IS connected (I have taken it out and put it back in) has remained at 0% for the last few days. I recently posted this complaint in another thread, but after reading so many similar complaints, I realized I should make my own. I now understand the warranty for a battery is 1 year, but I have a few very frustrating issues with this:

First, I purchased the 3 year extended warranty assuming all parts would be included- this is, to me, common sense regardless of whether the battery is considered a consumable product or not.

Second, I have had this laptop for only 13 and half months! This feels terrible- a product which I have had a 1 year warranty for (which I assumed was 3 years) has died a month and a half after it would have been freely replaced. I am a poor college student, and this laptop was expensive enough when I bought it!

And last, I have rarely used this Inspiron 1520 battery! I have taken it on only 4-5 car trips, and I can not even recall the last time (minus right now) the battery went to 0%, as I ALWAYS have it plugged in; in fact, I would surmise that if I were to use my battery as much as the average user (certainly more than me) then this battery probably would have died long ago when it was actually under its separate and special warranty! Should I be penalized for rarely using what appears to be a bad product? After all, minus the aforementioned car rides, the only time I've really used the battery is when the charger has accidentally been unplugged! As I responded in the other thread, if a product is going to be considered consumable, perhaps it should do its job more than a handful of times before malfunctioning!

I do hope this is a different problem altogether and not my hp compaq business notebook nc6120 battery, and if so, I apologize, but, after reading many similar situations, the only problem here seems to be with the battery, and this is very frustrating!

Dell XPS M1330 Laptop PC Review

The M1330's distinctive wedge shape looks sharp, as did our test unit's blue-and-silver color scheme (black, white, or crimson are also available). Flip the lid and you'll find a full-size keyboard that's second—just barely—to the dell xps m1330 battery in comfort and feel. The touchpad is on the small side, but we appreciate the dedicated horizontal and vertical scroll areas.

You'll also find a row of capacitive-touch multimedia buttons above the Function keys, including a Media Direct button for accessing your content without booting into Windows and an eject button for the slot-loading DVD burner. We wish there were a Blu-ray drive option, given the M1330's HDMI port. Dell also bundles noise-isolating earbuds and a remote control that slips into the ExpressCard slot.

The Dell XPS M1330 is a 13.3" screen ultraportable from Dell that uses the new Intel Santa Rosa platform, has a dedicated NVidia 8400GM video card, built-in web camera, slot loading DVD drive. Check out Coupon codes available for the Inspiron 1525 battery on our Dell Coupon page.

While a worthwhile vendor of mass-market mainstream laptops and desktops, Dell has never been known as an innovator in consumer product design. In fact, the company's stodgy, boxy products have been blamed for a loss of market share to the bolder design strokes of competitors such as HP and Gateway. That's what makes the new 13-inch XPS M1330 battery such a pleasant surprise. From our first behind-closed-doors peek at it last month, we've been impressed with the emphasis on the user experience in this superthin, high-end laptop, from the slot-loading DVD drive to the touch-sensitive media buttons and HDMI-output jack. At $2,000 and up, it's definitely a premium product, but worth it if head-turning design is as important to you as specs and performance.

The Dell XPS M1330 is an ultraportable performance laptop that's part of the XPS line of notebooks which focus on power and features. The 13.3" screen is LED backlit based which allows for a slimmer profile hp compaq business notebook 6715b battery. Similar to other laptops in this price range, the M1330 is built on Intel's Santa Rosa platform which includes the Core 2 Duo processor, integrated B/G/N wireless, and Bluetooth. A separate video card, the nVidia GeForce 8400M GS, is available as a configuration option as an upgrade over the standard integrated graphics.

So there's my story. All in all, it went relatively smooth. To top things off, I went ahead and bought a new Logitech G7 Wireless mouse. I'm partial to Logitech because the fit is perfect for my right hand. I replaced my previous Logitech with this one. Very nice! Carbon fiber look, comes with a battery charger that runs on USB. Additionally, I bought a Logitech USB port extender dell inspiron 1501 battery. The Dell XPS M1330 comes with two USB ports. One on each side. Since I work in a recliner, I needed them both on the right side, where my end table is. So, with the port extender, I can plug it in on the right side, then plug in my external USB hard drive, the G7 USB connector and a few other toys.

What could be better? The Dell XPS M1330 is incredibly faster than my old 2.6 P4 Inspiron 1150. The display is bright, very nice, and I'm really liking the move from XP to Vista. Plenty of ram to keep photoshop, dreamweaver, ftp, half a dozen browsers, Eudora (email), and other apps open, without even a hint of system drag. Worth every penny

The M1330 retains a dedicated graphics processor, but Dell claims that at just 25mm its machine is the thinnest 13.3in laptop in the world. Well, until the MacBook Air goes on sale - the Apple's machine's thickest part is thinner than the Dell's thinnest...

But these are not directly comparable machines. The first thing that sprang to mind when we clapped eyes on the M1330 was just how similar it is to sony np-f970 battery. With a 13.3in display, wedge-shaped chassis heavily tapered at the front and brushed aluminium palm rests, it could be the Sony's long-lost brother.

In fact, Sony must be pretty miffed, as not only does the XPS share the SZ's good points, it also adds a dash of style and colour. If black doesn't do it for you, Dell also sells the XPS in Crimson Red - however, the additional colours available on other Dell products are strangely absent.

It turns out that, surprise surprise, you pay a premium for a tiny form factor. The MacBook Air is seriously expensive for the guts you get inside, but Apple isn't the only company guilty of charging insane amounts for smaller computers. Just look at the Sony Vaio TZ150N, for example. $2,100 for a 1.06 GHz processor? Are you kidding me? I don't care how small, it's still a rip-off.

The best deal—if you don't mind an extra pound of weight and half-inch of thickness—is the Dell XPS M1330. It bests the MacBook Air in nearly every single category, delivering about 30% more processing power, 50% more memory, over 300% more hard drive space, plus a dedicated graphics card. All of this, for $300 less. But also, two hours less of battery life, thanks to the new smaller and more efficient Core 2 Duo processor in the MacBook Air.

But it's really no surprise that a form factor as striking as the MacBook Air's warrants a premium price. Super-slim and light laptops as a category have yet to come down from the stratosphere, dollar-wise. It's a form factor that SSD just makes loads of sense for, lightening them up and cutting down on dell xps m1530 battery life, but that drives the price up even further for the time being. Chips are still getting smaller and screen technology keeps improving. In a couple of years, these form factors will be reasonably priced with great specs, but until then, prepare to pay a huge chunk more for a bit less power, just so you can brag about having the thinnest computer on the block.

How to Revive a Dead Laptop Battery

Put the dead laptop battery in a sealed plastic bag.

Put the bagged hp mini 1000 battery in the freezer for about 12 hours.

Take the bag out of the freezer, and let the battery warm up to room temperature, drying it occasionally with a towel if it appears damp.

Put the battery back into your laptop.

Charge the battery as much as possible, then leave the laptop on in order discharge it completely. Starting out at $749 after rebate, this laptop line offers good speed and a solid list of components without needing too many upgrades.

That starting price gives you a 1.3GHz Intel Celeron M processor and 256MB of DDR memory, so you might want to spend a little to upgrade the power core. You can jump to 512MB of memory for $50 and step up to a 1.5GHz Pentium M processor for $125, both manageable upgrades that will really boost performance.

The large 15.4-inch widescreen display is great for watching DVDs or just making sure you can get all of your application or document on screen at once. If you're doing a lot of graphics work, you may want to opt for the $25 upgrade to a Brightview screen--it's the same size, but gives you sharper contrast and brighter colors. Speaking of graphics, the dell xps m1530 battery relies on an integrated processor which shares video memory with the system, so it's not a great gaming machine.

Below are the notebook's specifications as reviewed:

Compaq Presario R4125CA

Processor: 2.2 GHz AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+

Memory: 512MB (2 x 256MB) 333MHz DDR (Max. 2048MB)

Video: ATI Radeon XPRESS 200M IGP (128MB Dedicated Memory)

Display: 15.4" WXGA High-Definition BrightView Widescreen Display

Hard Drive: 100GB (4200 RPM)

Optical Drive: DVD R/RW and CD-RW Combo Drive with Double Layer Support

Fax/Modem: High Speed 56k Modem

Network Card: Integrated 10/100BASE-T Ethernet LAN

Wireless: 54g 802.11b/g WLAN with SpeedBooster and BroadRange support

Power: 8 Cell Lithium-Ion Battery

Microsoft Windows XP Home with SP2

Very few low range notebooks are able to flaunt a powerful, crisp, clean screen along with its low price. Toshiba pa3383u-1brs battery are great notebooks to buy for the screen, powered by the TruBrite technology. Besides Toshiba very few can proudly talk about their screen. I have talked about this before, when manufacturers are forced to choose between different qualities and features on their notebooks. This time, Compaq just chose to ignore the significance of a good screen, which they could have improved easily. When watching movies, the screen has lack of brightness which I couldn't adjust. It seemed dull and vapid enough for me not to enjoy the movie completely. The screen was impressive in size though measured at 15.4 in, but screens that large will simply accentuate the dullness. The big screened notebooks must be crisp and clear.

Despite the screen quality, there is nothing lacking in the sound quality. A pair of high quality JBL speakers gave a great effect when playing music. They have a nice three button external adjustment which is convenient after just trying out a notebook that had no external control. The extra problem of opening the Windows control is more annoying than people believe; especially for me as I constantly adjust volume during movies to either boost conversation volume or quite action scenes. There have been speaker problems with almost every notebook Ive reviewed and I began to believe that low price notebooks and good sound couldnt go together. Im relieved that I was wrong.

Our Presario V4000 test system came equipped with the latest mobile components, including a 2.0GHz Pentium M processor, an 80GB hard drive, and 1GB of 333MHz memory--the maximum amount of RAM the V4000 can accommodate. A bonus is the double-layer DVD burner; for a reasonable fee, you can add HP's LightScribe technology to laser-etch labels directly on the disc's surface. While it's a dell inspiron 1501 battery tolerable movie machine, the Presario V4000 lacks the Pavilion dv4000's instant-play features and remote control, and the V4000's stereo speakers sound too soft. Its 15.4-inch wide-screen BrightView display, with a 1,280x800 native resolution, looked slightly washed-out but offered a good amount of screen real estate. With an integrated Intel 915 graphics accelerator that uses up to 128MB of system memory, the Presario V4000 is not suitable for high-end gamer who require dedicated video memory.

As I have stated, I was planning to have this notebook plugged into power for the most part, so battery life was not the biggest concern for me. This package comes with the 8-cell battery, and if mobility is important to you with this laptop, it would be wise to upgrade to a 12 cell COMPAQ PRESARIO V4000 SERIES battery or get a spare. The advertised battery life was 3 hours; however I have found it to be closer to around 2 hours and 15 minutes. However turning options off like wireless, and keeping screen brightness down, could increase this and get it closer to the advertised figure.

As you can probably feel from the review, I'm a big fan of this notebook and am glad I purchased it. I would strongly recommend this to anyone looking for a notebook with lots of features, lots of power, and presario v4000 battery that doesn't bust the bank. This would be great for a student looking for something that can handle office applications but has enough power to handle most popular games.

Dell Inspiron 1501 Review

The Dell Inspiron 1501 is a 15.4" widescreen notebook now available with the AMD Sempron, Turion or Turion X2 processor. The dell inspiron 1501 battery has a subset of the Intel based Inspiron e1505 features and carries the same basic design and build as that popular laptop. Unfortunately, Dell cut features on the Inspiron 1501 but didn't cut its price a whole lot relative to the e1505. Unless you really want an AMD processor, it's hard to recommend this machine over the only slightly more expensive and better e1505.

The Dell Inspiron 1501 is a 15.4" screen notebook available with the AMD Turion, Turion X2 and Sempron processors. Buyers seeking a versatile solution with a larger display for mainstream multimedia and productivity tasks should choose this notebook.

In terms of design, the 1501 is identical to the Dell Inspiron E1505 battery. Both measure 14 x 10.4 x 1.4 inches and have speakers integrated into the front bezel, air vents flanking the left and right sides of the chassis, large touchpads with built-in scroll areas (that make for easy Web page navigation), 80GB hard drives, and non-offensive, silver-and-white color schemes. Although the 1501 weighs slightly less (6.4 pounds vs. 6.2 pounds), the lack of dedicated CD/DVD controls is a glaring omission, even in a budget mainstream machine. When we wanted to raise or lower the volume of a DVD or skip chapters, we had to use the software's far less intuitive controls.

The 15.4-inch widescreen produced strong colors when playing a DVD, but the viewing angles were tight on our TrueLife anti-glare display. Staying centered in front of the screen is the only way to truly enjoy the visuals, so watching a movie with a friend may be out of the question.

The Inspiron 1501's front side is free of ports. Also on the left side it has only the DVD drive, an Kensington lock and the fan holes. At the backside there are a VGA-out for connecting an external display, a modem and a LAN port, the power connector and 2 USB 2.0 ports. At the right side there are two further USB 2.0 ports, a connector for a headset and a microphone, a 3in1 Cardreader and an ExpressCard slot.

At a closer look, one can see that Dell somewhat skimped on ports. E.g a firewire port or a S-Video out are missing. Furthermore, an optical sound out (S/PDIF) would be sometimes useful. However, the 4 USB 2.0 have to be rated positively as well as the order of the ports.

This computer does not deserve to be called a computer. Ours had to have the fan replaced, the battery replaced, the power supply replaced, DVD runs like a mack truck engine, the extended hp pavilion zd7000 battery we bought did not have an extended life, the computer shuts off randomly, it looses files and the hard drive crashes and has to be reloaded, screen goes black and tiny boxes with multi colored dots appear on the screen, maintenance programming completed and it still does not work correctly. Last time we called for service no one returned our call. I tried 6 times. Then went online to request maintenance....funny thing....never heard from anyone but I did receive a survey to complete describing my experience with the recent maintenance request.....completed it and then nothing. Still stuck with the same worthless computer that is out of warranty. Imagine that. Stay away from this Dell computer.

Decked out in silver, white, and dark gray, the dell 1501 battery won't be mistaken for a business notebook, but its looks are suitably understated for the meeting room. The laptop measures 1.4x14x10.5 inches and weighs 6.2 pounds, straddling the line between travel companion and stay-at-home desktop replacement. It has a sturdy build, too, and feels like it could take a few knocks.

The 15.4-inch WXGA (1,280x800-resolution) display, which uses Dell's contrast-improving TrueLife technology, is definitely a highlight. Text was sharp, and DVDs and Vista's Aero interface looked great. An integrated ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 adapter that shares up to 256MB of system memory powers the graphics. Casual gamers won't be disappointed with this chip.

Cheap Quite tough Good toshiba satellite m30 series battery life Little bloatware Good and fast support Reliable performance (did not crash even once) Good keyboard and touchpad Cold...Weak CPU, no dedicated video card option No FireWire port (you can buy ExpressCard to FireWire adapter) No...The Inspiron 1501 is a low-cost version of the top selling Inspiron 6400/e1505 series to keep budget-minded.

To meet your PC needs, the Dell Inspiron 1501 can be built with a range of AMD processors, including Sempron, TurionTM 64 and TurionTM 64 X2 series chips. The AMD TurionTM 64 X2 offers dual-core technology which can provide substantial improvements over dell xps m1730 battery single-core counterpart.

HP Pavilion DV9000 Review

With the HD-friendly Pavilion dv9000t, HP shows that it continues to take entertainment seriously when designing its laptops. The latest iteration of the desktop replacement incorporates a bevy of high-end components, such as a Core 2 Duo processor, discrete Nvidia graphics, and a built-in HD-DVD drive, into its lightweight case. Add in the dv9000t's sleek design, with its echoes of consumer electronics devices, and you have a system that will look as good in the living room as on the desktop. While the new processor didn't add up to the greatest performance we've seen (that distinction belongs to more gaming-oriented systems, such as the Dell XPS M1710), the HP Pavilion dv9000 battery is a great choice for home users who want their laptop to double as an entertainment system.

HP Pavilion DV9000 Notebook Full Specs:

Screen: 17" WXGA+ (1440 x 900) Brightview standard. Optional WXGA+ Ultra Brightview or WSXGA+ (1680 x 1050) Brightview display.

Processor: Available with Mobile AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core processor

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 discrete graphics with 256MB dedicated DDR2 VRAM

Card Reader: 5-in-1 digital media card reader

Four USB 2.0 ports

ExpressCard 54 slot

Wireless: Integrated wireless support for 802.11 a/b/g Wireless LAN and Bluetooth on select models

Dual hard disk drive option with combined capacity up to 240GB

8-cell Li-Ion battery

Weight: Starting as low as 7.8 lbs

Speakers: Integrated Altec Lansing stereo speakers

OS: Microsoft Windows XP Home SP2 or Microsoft Windows XP Pro SP2. Optional configuration with Microsoft's Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005

Dual stereo headphone jacks -- one with high-definition audio support (S/PDIF capable)

Optional HP webcam with integrated dual stereo microphones.

We decided to pit the ibm thinkpad r40 battery against the Toshiba Qosmio G35-AV660, the successor to the Qosmio G35-AV650, the world's first notebook with an integrated HD-DVD drive, by booting up the hi-def version of The Bourne Supremacy. On the dv9000t, the movie looked incrementally better than a standard-definition DVD, but on the G35-AV660, the colors were much more vibrant, and the images were notably sharper. That's because the Qosmio sports a 1920 x 1200-pixel resolution LCD, compared with our dv9000t's 1440 x 900-pixel screen. Spending an extra $50 will get you a more HD-friendly 1680 x 1050 pixels, but HP doesn't offer an 1920 x 1200-pixel option. On the plus side, we like that you can play HD DVDs on the dv9000t using QuickPlay.

We then output the visuals from both notebooks to the HP LC3260N--a 32-inch television--via an HDMI cable. We were less than thrilled with the dv9000t's visuals. The colors and crispness were still ho-hum, even though we were watching the movie on a much larger screen. Although the G35-AV660 didn't display images on the big screen with as much pop as it did on its own monitor, The Bourne Supremacy looked sharper and had better color balance when fed through that notebook than it did through the Toshiba PA3291U-1BRS battery.

In addition to the large storage capacity, HP has also included a full two gigabytes of memory to complement the Intel Core 2 Duo mobile processor. This is double what most desktop replacements offer and allows the system to power through memory intensive applications or multitasking better than its competitors. So, if you are looking for raw performance, the dv9040us does do quite well although it isn't the top.

The new TI gauge is more accurate than today's gauges, which measure a battery's voltage, because it measures a number of electrical properties. Voltage-only-based gauges are erratic and unreliable because voltage doesn't fall steadily as the battery is discharged. What's more, the voltage changes as the battery ages and experiences different temperatures. It also varies with different power demands on the battery.

17" notebook PCs aren't known for their ability to leave AC outlets for long. The battery for hp pavilion dv9000 laptop surprised us by going 2 hours and 44 minutes on a charge using the default power management settings with WiFi on and active. This was in a mix of web surfing and business oriented tasks. Don't expect to play Doom III for that long unplugged! We like the brightness set at 75% to 85% and happily battery life didn't take a complete nose dive with the large panel set that high: it reduced runtimes to 2 hours and 27 minutes. An 8 cell Lithium Ion battery is standard and HP also offers an extended 8 cell high capacity battery for those who roam with their 8 pound buddy in tow. The 90w AC adapter is light and compact, and it's one of the few that still uses 3 prongs. It's a world charger that supports 100-240v at 50-60Hz.

Vista "Windows Experience Index" rating of 4.5/4.6 depending on run. Very powerful graphics card for a dell inspiron 1525 battery. Ignore what the other guy said about boot times in Vista - yes it sucks - but if you actually heed Microsoft's advice and use hibernate instead, which is intended with Vista, boot from switched off is approximately 30 secs and FAR faster (this is slightly tuned without unneeded startup/service/sidebar rubbish). Memory is adequate, but you may be better off getting 2GB instead (replacing both 512MBs inside with 1GBs).
Note the one of the biggest battery drains in Vista on a laptop is the background indexing service - this increases hard disk usage - disable it in the services.

The Core 2 Duo T7300 processor 2Ghz and 2GB of RAM (up to 4GB) can handle all from standard application to hardcore multitasking. In the top of the display there's a webcam VGA resolution which deliver clear skype video call even in low light environment. The NVIDIA 8600MB GS graphic card with 256 MB memory give dell inspiron 6400 battery a wonderful game experience. The notebook price at $2,074 and available on the market.

Battery and Battery Charger infomation

Notice Battery and battery charger infomation

›› Use adapter must notice proceeding Many Laptop computers (Notebook computers) can be supplied the power by Laptop AC Adapters and Laptop Batteries. Because every Laptop AC Adapter has its own input/output Voltage and rated power, you'd better look the introduction carefully before you use.

›› Different between Li-ion battery and Ni-mh batteryYou also should pay attention to what's the temperature after the dell inspiron 1545 battery worked for a long time, the battery will be abnormal if its temperature is too high. There are mainly two kinds of laptop battery at present. One is Li-ion battery, the other is Ni-mh battery. Generally speaking, Li-ion is an intelligent battery, it doesn't have memory effect and always very light, so it's more expensive than Ni-mh battery. Ni-mh battery's weight is heavier,it may also need to be recharged many times to wash the memory effect off. Li-ion dell latitude d820 battery are made from Lithium and are ideal for mobile devices such as laptop computers. They do not forget they are charged and have the longest operating times without being recharged. They are also much lighter than earlier made batteries and more environmentally friendly for disposal. Li-Ion batteries are more expensive than NiCad or NiMH batteries.

›› When need to buy a repalcement dell inspiron 1521 battery. Now meet the smallest; the stylish M1330, Dell's latest ultraportable notebook which replaces the XPS M1210 battery. Just calling it stylish is really doing it an injustice, as it's Dells most desirable notebook to date. But it's not had a trouble-free birth, due to some production problems that have now largely been worked through.

Finally! Having waited for what seemed like an age to get our mucky paws on Dell's latest and possibly greatest consumer notebook, we can bring you a review of the Dell XPS M1330 battery. Doubtless anyone who has already ordered one will be able to substantiate this frustration, because Dell has been struggling to fulfil orders of its latest consumer notebook due to some well publicised production issues. Thankfully, those issues seem to have been alleviated somewhat, though that'll be of little consolation to those who've been waiting for theirs to arrive.

We found the notebook's speakers plenty loud but the bass weak, especially at the top volumes. Dell bundles noise-isolating earbuds, which sounded spectacular for both movies and music. We'd like to see some visual feedback when adjusting volume with the media buttons and the remote, but beyond that, watching movies or listening to music on a plane will be a blast with this screen and earbud combo.

Like its predecessor, the XPS M1330 packs a lot of power into a compact frame. Intel's 2-GHz Next Generation Core 2 Duo processor, along with 2GB of RAM, paced this system to a very strong PCMark05 score of 4,545; that's about 1,000 points higher than average for a thin-and-light system. Regular productivity tasks were speedy as well, even with several windows open, and the Toshiba PA3399U-1BAS battery handled Vista's Aero interface with ease.

This notebook pumps out plenty of eye candy, at least for casual gamers. Thanks to Nvidia's GeForce 8400M GS graphics card with 128MB video memory, the M1330 turned in a way-above-average 3DMark03 score of 5,196. The hp pavilion dv9000 battery garnered decent F.E.A.R. scores of 56 and 15 frames per second on autodetect and maximum settings, respectively. Having an HDMI output on board means you'll be able to output video and audio to a larger screen via a single port, whether you're playing games or watching movies. Too bad Dell doesn't include a Blu-ray or HD-DVD drive option..

I was looking for a small, portable and light laptop but still with good performance for my wife when I first saw the reviews for XPS M1330. We liked the components vs. price and of course the design and weight. I was a bit sceptic about our decision to buy and try it but all my concerns disappeared when I had our new laptop running in my hands. I was amazed; it was small, fast, good looking and relatively light. I was not willing to give the laptop to my wife during the first tree weeks... If you are looking for something light with smaller display (not for continuous gaming) and good performance then go for it. You will love it.

Specs of my m1330 in this review:
Core 2 Duo Santa Rosa T7300 2.0Ghz
2×1GB DDR2-667Mhz
120gb 5400RPM hdd
dvd-rw
nVidia GeForce 8400m Video
LED Backlit screen with VGA webcam
6 cell battery
vista home premium
3 year warranty

There are very few 13-inch laptops on the market that bring the caliber of hardware and performance of the Dell XPS M1330. We’re getting a glimpse of the future in ultraportable power with the Dell XPS M1330. Game-capable graphics, blazing processor speed, and a pile of RAM all packed into a lovely chassis that’s as comfortable to carry as a hardback airport romance novel. Despite the extra cash you’ll shell out, we think the hp compaq business notebook nx6125 battery is the clear choice over other cheaper, less powerful notebooks.

The M1330 is a joy to use. The full-size keyboard is exceedingly comfortable to type on, and we love the touch-sensitive multimedia control buttons above the function-key row. The touch pad and mouse buttons are slightly small, but the buttons are quiet, and the pad includes marked horizontal and vertical scroll areas.

The real draw is the option to get a wide-screen (1,280x800) LED-backlit display—a $200 premium that's worth every penny. Employing 32 LEDs instead of a fluorescent tube to illuminate the LCD pixels, it's brighter than traditional screens and delivers a higher contrast ratio that makes images pop. The LEDs also use anywhere from 25 percent to 66 percent less power than a fluorescent tube (depending on the brightness level), boosting battery life. On the M1330, DVDs showed lifelike color reproduction and very good shadow detail. Sound quality from the built-in stereo speakers was a bit thin and lacking in bass, but they delivered respectable volume for a portable this size, with no distortion.

The Sony does lag behind the M1330 when it comes to battery performance. This is where that nine-cell battery plays an important role. In running down while playing a DVD movie, the M1330 lasted 3 hours 23 minutes. Normal day-to-day computing activities can probably get you well over 5 hours. You'll get an extra 22 minutes worth of battery life with the acer aspire 3680 battery, making it slightly better for travel, but you lose the luxury of having a built-in optical drive. The M1330's nine-cell battery adds to the weight, but you can always swap it out for a four-cell or cell-cell battery, which doesn't get you as much juice. If it were up to me, I'd take the nine-cell despite the extra weight.

It's been a while since Dell delivered a laptop that possessed so many awe-inspiring features. The Dell XPS M1330 is a monumental step in that it takes the best things from other great ultraportables and combines them into a single entity. My only peeve is that the weight can get up there with the nine-cell battery. Otherwise, this ultraportable should easily sit at the top of any laptop shopping list.

Many of the back-to-school laptops we've looked at in the $1,000-plus category have CPUs and chipsets from Intel's new Centrino 2 platform. The XPS 1330 battery was one of a handful with older parts, including a 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 CPU. That's still the non-Centrino-2 medium-to-high-end default, and gave us decent performance all-around. Going forward, a refreshed version of the 1330 selling for the same price should have Intel's new P8400 CPU.

The system fan and heatsinks in the M1330 do a great job managing heat when the system is under load ... as we discovered when we ran multiple benchmarks back to back. The CPU temperature peaked at only 58 degrees Celsius during multiple 3DMark05 and 3DMark06 tests. The fan moved a significant amount of hot air but the noise was reasonably low and wasn't noticeable over background noise unless the room was perfectly quiet.

One thing to mention is that we kept the 9-cell extended life battery attached to the M1330 during these benchmarks. The extended life battery lifts the system off the desk and allows air to move under the notebook case ... helping to cool the system. When we performed the same benchmarks with the standard acer travelmate 240 series battery (with the case resting flush against the desk) the CPU temperatures peaked at 64 degrees Celsius.

The attractive brushed aluminum surface of the palm rests did heat up during benchmarking, but the temperatures remained at comfortable levels. The left palm rest was slightly warmer than the right. If you are particularly sensitive to temperatures you might find the warmth uncomfortable, but most users will be unlikely to complain about this.

The hard drive in our pre-production unit was virtually silent and made no audible squeals or scratching noises. The overall lack of noise coming from the fan and hard drive on the M1330 should be a welcome surprise for people with sensitive hearing ... particularly for those who owned the M1210. In fact, the only noticeable amount of unwelcome noise coming from the M1330 is from the slot-loading drive when it loads or ejects a disk.

The M1330 has most of the inputs and outputs you would expect (USB, FireWire, flash-memory-card reader, ExpressCard slot, VGA, LAN), plus two headphone jacks and a welcome High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) port for connecting to an external high-definition television (HDTV). But the laptop has only two USB ports (most laptops nowadays have at least three) and no modem jack (so dial-up users need not apply).

With its handsome design, sharp screen, and extensive list of options, it's hard not to love the dell xps m1730 battery. For buyers who need a constant computing companion, it's worth a long look.

Dell Battery for Inspiron 700m/710m Laptops

Dell Inspiron 700m battery is a lithium ion rechargeable repalcement laptop battery. Considering it's a notebook from the world's third-largest PC manufacturer, Dell Inspiron 1545 battery (also known as the Inspiron 15) has a lot to live up to, especially since the last Inspiron we had through our labs, the Inspiron 1525, walked away with our coveted Recommended Award. Let's find out if the 1545 is worthy of similar praise.

The Dell Inspiron 1545 is a 15.6" screen integrated graphics multimedia notebook from Dell. The Inspiron 1545 will have a budget price point when configured with an Intel Celeron processor or mid-range price point when configured with a Core 2 Duo processor.

As with many new budget notebooks, Dell's latest is available in a few different colours if purchased direct. Matte Black is standard, but for an extra £29.99 you can choose Microsatin Blue, Red or Pacific High-Gloss Blue lids. Not exactly much choice, especially given Dell's usually prolific customisation options, but any choice is better than none. Our particular model, available from PC World for £429.99, (Dell Latitude D630 battery , Dell XPS M1730 battery)came with a blue 'high-gloss' lid. While not quite as bad as piano black at showing fingerprints, it will still require regular attention and there is no cloth provided for this.

For many families and school-bound teenagers, there's only room in the budget for a laptop with basic amenities. The Inspiron 1545 battery (i1545-004ST) meets two of the most basic laptop requirements: Both its screen and hard drive are large enough to handle the gamut of multimedia tasks. It isn't a speed demon by any stretch, as its Intel Pentium-branded processor lags behind the mainstream Intel Core 2 Duos, but you won't hear a peep from frugal shoppers. Available at your local Staples for $650, this whopper of a bargain comes with a nice 15.6-inch widescreen, 320GB of storage space, and 4GB of memory—all of which should be enough to offset the processor's shortcomings.

It's slower than I expected it to be. I just got a new desktop computer at work within the same week as this, and that XP runs faster than my Vista, even though mine has twice the RAM. I have also tried three different kinds of spy-ware protection, and they all run excessively slow or not at all, including Windows Defender (which promptly crashed upon its first auto-update and never recovered). It's very well possible this is a Vista fail and not an Inspiron fail, as the computer itself runs very quietly and stays cool. Still for $450, it is a good deal.

where do i start? well the machine looks the part firstly with a beautiful glossy finish (susceptible to finger prints but nevertheless adds to the slick design) surrounding the keyboard. which. by the way, is great to type on (as i'm doing so at the moment), as the keys aren't flimsy or wobbly rather they feature good feedback. anyway, the screen has a great resolution as it doesn't suffer from banding or excessive backlight bleed and has excellent viewing angles. The speakers sound a lot better than the rubbish we encounter on most budget dell inspiron 1545 battery laptops / notebooks. i also have a similar spec toshiba but this machine is in a different league in the entertainment sector.

However its worth noting that the battery life is average meaning its not too efficient but hey look at the spec, the price and the performance (plus its on vista)!!! In a nutshell: a DELL laptop (emphasising the brands rep for reliability and great tech support) which is pitched at the budget market and is a simple family laptop with quality speakers, the Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop battery is definitely worth considering. Oh yeah! dont forget they come in different colours!!!
Dell has added documentation on their website of an upcoming laptop of the Inspiron line, codenamed 15 1545.

As the title suggests the display screen is on the medium category and measures 15.6-inches, and the processor can either be an Intel Celeron, or a Core 2 Duo - your option. The RAM memory is pretty good with 4GB of DDR2, and the integrated graphics cardGMA 4500MHD is also a useful element for a good performance. The other option comes on the type of optical drive Blu-ray, or the normal DVD burner.

Overall the Dell 1X793 battery is a very great bargain even after looking at the slow performance at times. If you can over look the speed of the computer this will be a great pick you are looking for something for your home or even for a student. It has a huge hard drive which comes in handy.

Acer Aspire One 10.1 inch Laptop Battery

This high quality replacement acer aspire one 10.1 battery will get your laptop up and running the right way at the very best price. Your new 9 cell Acer Aspire One laptop battery comes in a discharged condition and must be charged before use (refer to your computer manual for charging instructions). Upon initial use (or after a prolonged storage period) the batteries may require two to three charge/discharge cycles before achieving maximum capacity.
2. When charging 9 cell Acer Aspire One batteries for the first time your computer may indicate that charging is complete after just 10 or 15 minutes. This is a normal phenomenon with rechargeable batteries. Simply remove the batteries from the computer and repeat the charging procedure.
3. If 9 cell Acer Aspire One batteries will not be in use for a month or longer, it is recommended that it be removed from the device and stored in a cool, dry, clean place.
4. It is normal for 9 cell Acer Aspire One batteries to become warm during charging and discharging.
5. A charged 9 cell hp mini 1000 battery will eventually lose its charge if unused. It may therefore be necessary to recharge the batteries after a storage period.

Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop Review

Dell has been on something of a roll recently. Its new range of XPS notebooks, the M1330 and M1530 were both great machines, while its desktop offerings, like the XPS 420, haven't been half bad either. But let it not be said that Dell has had things all its own way, because there have been a few turkeys lodged in there too - the XPS M1730 springs to mind.

The Inspiron 1525 battery is a Core 2 Duo powered 15.4" screen notebook from Dell. The Inspiron 1525 has Intel X3100 integrated graphics, an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and a thinner and lighter form factor than the previous Inspiron 1520.

Like most notebooks from Dell, the Inspiron 1525 can be customized to cater to the needs of the customer. The Dell Inspiron 1525 we were testing had an Intel Core 2 Duo T5800, 3GB of DDR2 system memory, 15.4" wide-screen 1280x800 display, Intel GMA X3100 graphics, 250GB SATA hard drive, DVD+/-RW drive, Dell Wireless 1395 802.11g, an integrated 2.0MP web-camera, and a 6-cell battery. The Core 2 Duo T5800 is in Intel's Merom-2M family and is clocked at 2.00GHz, has 2MB of L2 cache, supports Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology, and is built on a 65nm process. For those interested in spending less on a notebook, the Dell Inspiron 1525 battery can be stripped down to shipping with an Intel Celeron CPU, 1GB of memory, and a 120GB hard drive. On the fastest end is an Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 with 3GB of RAM and a 320GB SATA HDD.

People thought that the days were gone when the Dell laptops used to be bulky and unattractive, after the introduction of their slim and light XPS M1330 and XPS M1530. But with the introduction of Inspiron 1520 they were again criticized for its bulkiness. The dell Inspiron 1525 battery is 25% smaller and 30% slimmer and half a pound lighter than the previous but still it cannot be placed in the category of thin and light notebooks. However, the design and build does not seem to be made of cheap materials and feels solid like other Dell laptops. There are also eight color options available and there are four new patterns on them.

The standard system comes with a 6 cell 56 WHr battery which provides excellent battery life. On normal condition expect it to run for 4 hours and on high workload it should run at least 3 hours as we tested it. There is also an option for a 9 cell 85 WHr dell battery inspiron 1525 which should run it for at least six hours in normal power saver mode. But the nine cell battery sticks out from its back which looks awkward. We should advice you to get the six cell batteries which seemed enough to run a movie without the cords plugged in it.

With its $999 price tag, the Dell Inspiron 1525 is one of the most “expensive” budget notebooks we've reviewed. Even so, its sleek design, strong dual-core performance, long battery life, and top-notch multimedia components set it apart from the pack. The Inspiron’s glossy black lid sports a silver Dell logo badge in the middle and a silver racing stripe pattern off to the left, giving it an elegant, yet sporty look called “Street.” (Two other designs are available as well, including “Chill,” a cool blue-and-white swirl pattern, and “Blossom,” a fuchsia floral design).
Dell includes an industry-standard one-year parts-and-labor warranty with the system.

Upgrading to a three-year plan will cost an extra $260, which includes on-site service. Support is accessible through a 24-7 toll-free phone line, and Dell's robust online knowledge base and driver downloads, although XPS M1210 customers get access to a different, better-quality, tech support line. Dell will also send you a free recycling kit for your old laptop on request (basically a prepaid postage label to ship old products back to a recycling facility).

HP Compaq Business Notebook 6715B Battery

New 4400mAh Rechargeable Li-ion Replacement Hp Compaq Business Notebook 6715b Your new DELL Latitude C610 battery comes in a discharged condition and must be charged before use (refer to your computer manual for charging instructions). Upon initial use (or after a
prolonged storage period) the battery may require two to three charge/discharge cycles before achieving maximum capacity.
2. When charging DELL Latitude C610 battery for the first time your computer may indicate that charging is complete after just 10 or 15 minutes. This is a normal phenomenon with rechargeable batteries. Simply remove the battery from the computer and repeat the charging procedure.
3. It is important to condition (fully discharge and then fully charge) Dell 1691P battery every two to three weeks. Failure to do so may significantly shorten the battery's life (this does not apply to Li-ion batteries, which do not require conditioning). To discharge, simply run your
device under the battery's power until it shuts down or until you get a low battery warning. Then recharge the battery as instructed in your user's manual.
4. If Latitude C610 battery will not be in use for a month or longer, it is recommended that it be removed from the device and stored in a cool, dry, clean place.
5. It is normal for DELL Latitude C610 battery to become warm during charging and discharging.
6. A charged DELL Latitude C610 battery will eventually lose its charge if unused. It may therefore be necessary to recharge the battery after a storage period.
