ใคร…ในห้อง (who are you) is the new film from the writer of body #19, and my favorite actress sinjai plengpanich which seems to be a good match for psycho thriller film. yes, it has potential to be so.

the story focuses on a single mother and her son who has locked himself in his room threatening the mother to kill himself if she ever steps into his territory again. silently the mother complies to do as her son wants, communicating by pieces of paper under the closed door for five years. but a question has been raised, is it really her son who lives behind that door?

the plot is constructed based on japanese psychological syndrome called 引き籠もり (hikikomori) which refers to the phenomenon of people who have chosen to withdraw themselves from social life and seeking for isolation.

once again the writer ekasith thairat has taken us to a certain degree of satisfaction with his style of riddles and unexpected twists. unfortunately he fails to impress when the mystery unfolds with shallow answer and abysmal cg works. sinjai’s performance is the best part in the film, her incredible acting skill has never let us down.

it has been thirty years after an apocalyptic event which killed most of the human population. one man set on a long journey to protect a book is believed to be the only one that still remains on earth. the man believes wholeheartedly that he must travel to the west across the deserts, lost cities and countless obstacles to the place where this book belongs.

during his journey he visits a town run by a powerful man who is searching for the book which will help him expanding his territory and he will stop at nothing until he gets the book.

this is definitely one of the worst films in 2010, the plot is über lame, the directing is boring. it is such a pointless film with a several cool action sequences, that’s all! ghrr! such a waste of time.
