Short walk or ride by bike from Palmovka to Karlín or vice versa. You can go around big ruins near Vltava river. Half destroyed buildings inspired teenagers with spray to create some grafitti. You can find here some inspiration for yourself or enjoy nice weather and do something for your health and walk few kilometers.

St Henry and Kunhuta church

This gothic church you can find near Main train station. It was built in 1348 in gothic style and in 1529 and 1688 was rebuilt in renasence and baroque style. Along the church you can continue by foot to Wenceslas square.

Old Town Square and Christmas Tree 2008

On November 29th it was christmas tree ceremony on Old Town Square. It was small ceremony with square full of people. It was small challenge to get in the middle of the square and see lighting up the tree. It was pleasant start of advent time before Christmas.

Foggy hundred-spired Prague

Short look from the hill Vítkov in moody weather one of autumn days. You can see towers from Church of Our Lady of Tyn. In the background you can see two towers of Strahov monastery. It’s to see even this foggy view with few sun rays.

Saint Wenceslas on Wenceslas square

A statue of Saint Wenceslaus and other patrons of The Czech Republic is located at Wenceslaus square. You can find there lot of people behind the statue. It’s very popular meeting point below the horse. Around Saint Wenceslas you can see standing St Adalbert/Vojtěch of Prague, St Ludmila, St Prokop and St Agnes “Czech”.
