I have ministry launch fever! The thought of developing a revival center in Detroit is so exciting… are you ready to run this race with us as an intern? Financial partner? Intercessor? Here’s a couple of podcasts for you to listen to. I had fun driving the shuttles today for onething… I’m somewhat sad about moving on from the IHOP staff, but I’m excited about what’s coming in 2009! We may head on over to World Revival Church in the morning. I’m loving the smell of revival from that place! I’m going to try to make it to at least one of the onething sessions… but, no guarantees. I am loaded up with graphic design, and I better take care of my clients! I’m praying about a flexible way to earn some more income each month. Support has taken a dive, probably due to the current recession… and we are at a crisis point. If anybody has ideas, let me know. Today is day one of 2009, and last night just after midnight I found myself in bed surprised by the presence of God. A sudden Holy Spirit driven urgency landed in my inner man, and I prayed. With fire. I’m 39 years old, and I don’t have much time left. I remember being 30 years old as I was planting Revolution Church- and nearly a decade has disappeared since then. I’m running out of time- and so are you. There is a world to change, revivals to launch and a church to reform, and I possibly may have less than a few more decades to do my part. Here’s another video podcast hot off the stove! I’m in the IHOP prayer room now… it’s been a while since I’ve been here due to being on the road. I’m actually hitting the road again tomorrow, but that should be the last trip until 2009. We’re still praying intently about our next move. We are beyond excited about everything that’s been happening in Detroit. Man, people are HUNGRY! The pastors we’ve met are some amazing people and regardless of whether we move there or not, we’re confident that we’ll participate in a move of God there at some level. I just talked with Miles Anderson who directs Revolution House of Prayer, and he said he’s 95% sure that we have an important role in that city. Here’s a podcast on the subject of ministry and marketing. I’m surprised at the low percentage (very, very low) of churches, missionaries, ministers and ministries that don’t take advantage of online marketing to get their message out (and it’s a VERY important message!). One way people will know you are alive and well is effective and regular communication. When I receive an email several times a week from ElijahList, a certain church, a ministry or missionary I know they are serious about what they are doing. Be sure to subscribe to the RSS feed and the podcast! First, we’re asking our intercessors and friends to pray for our next steps in ministry. There is a lot of activity in a few different locations and we’ll be involved in all of it, but we need to know where our home base is for the next season. We as a family are primed and ready for what’s next, and we’re considering the next five to ten years as we pray for some long time visions to be realized. Regardless of where we base, I’ll be on the road as much as necessary to help facilitate revival, the prayer movement and advance toward city-transformation. Here’s a quick podcast on my Drupal and Wordpress anxieties. The purpose? To discover some CMS geniuses who can help alleviate my fears. I’ll be posting a video podcast in the next post… come on back within the hour to take a look at it. I have no anxiety whatsoever with standard websites. If I lose a page, I simply click the upload button in Dreamweaver and we’re back to where we were in mere seconds. This isn’t the case with CMS. A single line of code gone bad can destroy an entire site… and if that site is thousands of posts deep, we have a problem. Listen to the podcast and leave some comments.
