A VIP box filled with my favorite skincare products just arrived from coxir, just in time to replenish the essentials in my skincare routine. One of the products caught my eye because it was a new moisturizer which I have yet to try.

Dazzle Me Ink-Lock Serum Lip Duo Review
A creamy lippie, the matte lip cream side easily glides onto my skin. It starts off with a creamy texture which turns matte after a few seconds. Despite being a matte cream lippie, it doesn’t dry out my lips and it feels quite comfortable on my lips. As for the lip serum, It was able to transform the matte finish of the matte lip cream into a glossy finish, making my lips look plump. I like that it doesn’t feel sticky.

Floral Temu Outfit Posts for August 2025 & Honest Review

In today’s outfit post, I’ll be featuring floral fits. There are two dresses and one floral top. I’ve recently discovered the joy of trying out clothes from Temu. I’m still in the midst of figuring out their sizing. I’ve realized that most dresses run large, especially if they have garters or are made of other stretchable material.

Pink Floral Dress

I wore this pink floral dress to an event at a hotel. It was really pretty and quite flowy. The quality is not bad as well since it also has an inner lining. Get it here.

Blue Floral Dress

Truly, a head turner, this blue dress definitely caught some stares since it looked so elegant. Its material was quite thick. The fit was not bad but I feel like I could have gone for a size smaller since the back had a huge garter, making the dress stretchable. I wore it to the Medley buffet located in Okada where I absolutely loved the cheese room. As the name suggests, it’s a room filled with cheese and some cold cuts. Get it here.

Pink Floral Top

Although I really love the two floral dresses, this floral top isn’t exactly my cup of tea. If you wear this top, you would need to wear something beneath it. You would also need to tie it properly in front. Get it here.

Back to School with K-Beauty from StyleKorean [Review]

It has been a while since my last StyleKorean Beauty Box and if I’m not mistaken, this Back to School Box is the beauty box (that I’ve tried) with the most Korean beauty products unless we include the advent boxes. I’ve certainly missed these StyleKorean beauty boxes because they’re really worth it.

This Back to School Box features 12 different beauty products, compromising mostly skincare and a bit of makeup. However, the best part about it is that everything is worth $245 in total but you can get it for only $39.

I was also surprised to see that this box included newly released Korean beauty products. You don’t have to worry about getting leftovers or whatnot because this beauty lineup is full of new releases and popular beauty products.

Fortunately, I checked the instructions this time and found out that this mask is actually a no-rinse mask. Transforming from liquid into bubbles upon pumping, this bubble mask was fairly quick to settle on my skin. I tried using it in place of a toner.

Temu Hair Clip Sets Review

When I see pretty hair accessories, I cannot help but pine over them. I’ve seen a lot of pretty yet affordable hair clips on Temu. I usually go for the sets because I find them cheaper in price. I’ve recently been complimented on my hair clips and I’ve been asked where I got them from. People are usually surprised to hear that they’re from Temu. I’ll be sharing with you some of my favorite Temu hairclips (with some affiliate link included).

My favorite hair clips thus far are the set of 2 matching clips that have some beads dangling on them. It kind of reminds me of those Chinese hair accessories from previous dynasties. These, on the other hand, are cuter and more modern versions.

Aside from the sets of 2, I also got these set of 5 hair clips that have a sea theme to it.

Review

With vibrant hues, I’mma makeup provides a pop of radiance for your complexion. I usually use soft colors so I had mixed feelings at first whether or not I would like this. Surprisingly, I love how the overall youthful appearance that I’mma makeup gave me. If you watched my reel on Instagram, you’ll notice that at first, the blush was really pigmented on my cheeks. However, after blending the blush, it gave off a softer but still vibrant flush to my cheeks.

As for the I’mma lip dew, I like how it gave my lips a fuller and pouty look. My lips definitely looked plump and vibrant.

I’mma is an affordable beauty brand priced below P200 but it can go below P150 during online sales.

Temu outfit posts [Honest Review]

If you’ve been following my socials then you’ll know that I have been into shopping at Temu recently. I’ve gotten myself some Cinnamoroll items but I couldn’t resist getting some of their dresses and blouses as well. I’ll be sharing with you my honest review of their clothes.

Size

Sizing-wise, it’s really convenient because they post the standard sizes and Asian sizes while listing down the exact measurements for each part so it’s pretty easy to find your size.

Quality

Quality-wise, the fabric doesn’t seem too cheap despite the price but for some of the clothes, it’s also not the best material. For the Chinese-style blouse, it definitely looks pretty. I wore it to a family gathering and it was fairly comfortable. I thought it would be itchy but luckily, it wasn’t. Also, the fabric is quite thick which I think contributes to the appearance of being of good quality.

Price

As for the price, it’s fairly cheap, especially if you know how to take advantage of Temu’s discount coupons, surprise deals, and free gifts. You have to spend a fair amount of time to cut down the price if you want to get the best price possible. I believe that the app was designed this way, much like a game. If you immediately check it out, you’ll have to buy the item at a price that doesn’t have the discount maximized. You’ll have to browse their site for a more affordable priced item and constantly check your promotion messages to see if Temu gave you a personalized discount code.

Although I have mixed feelings about some of the clothes I got from Temu, I’m still happy with how the clothes looked. As for the jewelry and accessories that I got, it’s a whole nother story which I’ll be sharing in a future post.

The first thing I did before trying the coxir x the SKIN HOUSE Korea Gangnam Style Spa Box was to scan the QR code which led me to the Skin Type Test. I ended up getting the Oily Skin result which asked me to use the cleansing oil, face steaming mask, TXA mucin pore mask cleanser, steam cream, EGF serum, modeling mask, peeling mist, and sunscreen.

The espoir The Brow Balance Pencil #1 Classic Brown and the espoir Mini Brow Cara were a good combination in creating a defined yet simple eyebrow look. I actually liked the brow cara more than the eyebrow pencil more but they both performed well.

Perfect for applying contour on the nose, it was fairly easy to apply the colorgram Re-Forming Contour Stick #01 Warm Tone onto my nose but the brush on the other end made it even better because I was able to blend it well thanks to that brush. The colorgram Volume Pencil was precise in applying highlighter on the bridge of my nose.

CLIO Bestselling Eye Makeup set

A pigmented and pretty palette, the CLIO Pro Eye Palette Air #12 Crystal Paw will charm its way into your heart thanks to its adorable packaging. I especially love the blue crystal-like glitters, they really made my eyes pop. I used the CLIO Sharp So Simple Waterproof Pencil Liner 09 Rose to create a winged eyeliner look at the edge of my eyes and it gave my eyes a more defined look. A long-lasting tint, the CLIO Chiffon Blur Tint can create a vibrant and pretty lip look but the way it blurs really takes the cake.

Last but not least, the espoir Be Glow Volume Cushion Flash Glow Set is a pretty pink set that came with espoir’s latest cushion and a pretty highlighter keychain. You could say I was more excited to get the keychain but the cushion took my heart as well. The cushion had a light coverage, I found that I needed to use a concealer on my eyebags. It was able to create a glowy look as promised by its name, Flash Glow. I was really happy with the result of this cushion, it’s perfect for a natural look that you can use daily.

However, its pink color is not the only thing it has going on for it. It features collagen for elasticity care and this Reedle Shot also aims to provide anti-aging effects.

I was not able to include it in the photo but in my video, I used the Collagen Reedle Shot 100 with the Hydrogel Mask. The VT Cosmetics Collagen Reedle Shot 100 2 Step Hydrogel Mask came with its own Reedle Shot (which is the first step). Since I already used the Collagen Reedle Shot 100, I set aside the sachet which had the Reedle Shot (I might use it for my travels).

Review
The VT Cosmetics Collagen Reedle Shot 100 didn’t sting my skin at all and it didn’t irritate it either. It could be because my skin is used to using Reedle Shots so for first-time users, it’s better to do a patch test first. I used the Reedle Shot directly after washing my skin, but if you have sensitive skin, you could use a toner first. It felt really nice to use the Hydrogel Mask right after using the Reedle Shot.

I wasn’t able to show the effect of using the mask for 3 hours but even after only using it for 20 minutes, my skin looked supple and glowy. It is supposed to be used for at least 2 - 3 hours where the mask has turned transparent, indicating that the essence has been fully absorbed from the mask. What I love about this gel mask is that it indicates that it can be used overnight. There are times when I like using masks overnight but sometimes they would feel uncomfortable. However, for the VT Cosmetics Hydrogel Mask, it was actually quite comfortable to wear because of its gel-like texture, making it feel even cooler on my skin.

Key ingredient: Willow Bark Extract

Review: I do appreciate that the Hyaah Cleansing Water was gentle and did not irritate my skin. After wiping my face with a cotton pad soaked with the cleansing water, I saw that there was sebum and dirt on the cotton pad. Lastly, my skin didn’t feel dry but it was rather moist.

Hyaah Licorice First Essence

Formulated with 20% licorice extract, the Hyaah Licorice First Essence left my skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. I like that this essence was not sticky and really quick to settle on my skin.

Hyaah Kelp Concentrate Synergy Mask

Made of 90% Wando kelp extract, the Hyaah Kelp Concentrate Synergy Mask aims to improve skin elasticity and hydration. To use it, you can use three synergy masks and apply it to your cheeks and forehead.

Hyaah Allinone Ectoin Lotion

Last but not least, the Hyaah Allinone Ectoin Lotion is my favorite skincare product in this haul. This lotion left my skin looking revitalized and glowy after generously applying it on my skin. Despite being a lotion, I don’t feel that it is greasy but it is actually lightweight. It contains Ectoin, Ceramides, Squalane, and Cholesterol.

I couldn’t take the brand name seriously because I initially thought that it was read as “haiyaah” but it was actually pronounced as “heeyah”.

Just like the VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot 100, the Red Booster Reedle Shot 100 and the Black Truffle Reedle Shot 100 didn’t feel painful on my skin. It didn’t irritate my skin either. However, you might want to do a patch test first if your skin is sensitive. You can read my VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot review. The notable difference is that the serum of the Red Booster Reedle Shot 100 comes in a deep red color. Applying the serum on my face leaves my skin with a reddish tinge which disappears after a few minutes once it has settled down on my skin.

Kalmellow Carefree : Fragrance from Korea

I love a good fragrance and this fragrance from Kalmellow leaves me smelling fresh thanks to its invigorating scent. Kalmellow is Kristel Fulgar’s brand of fragrances which are made in Korea. These fragrances come in two variants namely Carefree and Come Closer. I was able to try the Carefree variant which features citrus, herb and floral scents.

Top Notes
Orange, Bergamot, Lemon, Mandarin, Cassis, and Peach.

Middle Notes
Jasmine, Muguet, Pine, Neroli, Lavender, and Eucalyptus.

Base Notes
Musk and Cedarwood.

Each bottle is sized at 47ml (1.68 fl. oz.). This fragrance is an Eau de toilette so I usually use it when I need to leave the house for a short amount of time. Luckily, I received it just in time for Chinese New Year.

The packaging appears simple yet dainty thanks to the bow design.

Out of these 9 Korean Beauty products, there are 3 of which I have already tried while the rest are definitely new to me.

I liked how the Arencia Fresh Green Rice Mochi Cleanser has a fresh scent as well as how it left my face looking moist and fresh after rinsing off the cleanser.

Interestingly enough, the PURCELL 24/7 Colorstrum Pore Defence Ampoule is actually dispensed by spraying the ampoule onto the face. It makes rehydrating my face easy because I don’t need to go through washing my hands to apply the ampoule, I simply just have to spray and go.

Definitely a lip plumpler, the Laka Fruity Glam Tint #108 Salty has a fruity scent and this shade gives off a sophisticated vibe.

A 3-step mask, the Numbuzin NMN BIO Lifting-sil Full Face Mask was fun to use but I think I used it wrong the first time when I shot my reel. I forgot to do the third step. I found it interesting that this mask also aims to do a “full face lift”.

It’s always fun shopping for Korean beauty products on Olive Young especially when there’s a sale. Apart from searching for the best buy 1+1 deals and best beauty sets, I especially enjoy when they give out free points.

During the Black Friday sale, I was able to get 30 points (equivalent to $30) from an event that they had. I found this Clio set to be really adorable. In the Every Fruit Grocery Edition of the Clio cushion, the CLIO Kill Cover The New Founwear Cushion comes with a cushionrefill, a peach key ring and a market bag. I ran out of the shade I wanted so I settled with the 1.5 FAIR shade.
