How to Improve your Search Engine Position

Your search engine ranking depends on a number of factors: assuming you get listed in the first place. If you have managed to get that listing then you can improve your search engine position by means of links back to your website and also by improving your content.

Significant improvements, however, will likely involve radical restructuring of your website, and would have been better thought out before building your site.

Many so-called SEO experts will attempt to make sure that all your meta tags are in place, even though they have little bearing any more on your search engine rank, be that on Google, Yahoo, MSN or Ask.

They might even have a look at your internal linking, but once you have built your website it is too late for that. Your internal linking strategy should have been formulated prior to constructing your website. There are ways to design a site to be search engine friendly, and I use them all the time.

The very first two websites I tried these techniques on each reached page #1 on Google for their main keyword within less than a month. They were listed within two days due to other techniques I use, but their high listings were due to the site design. I then designed a third, and true to form, it reached page #1.

You want that success as well, and it is not difficult to achieve. However, it involves starting from the bottom up, although there is a lot that you can do with your existing website apart from just playing around with meta tags. I am not suggesting that you shouldn't make sure that you have meta descriptions and a title tag in your html, but they are nothing like as significant as the changes I make to my websites to improve their search engine ranking. Not even close!

There are a number of changes you can make to improve your search engine position, ranging from your internal linking to the way you lead the spiders around your site.

Just ask yourself one simple question: what determines your search engine rank on Google? How does Google calculate your search engine position? That's the first thing you have to learn if you want to improve yours. You have to know your enemy to beat him.

It's not only links, as many would have you believe, or I would never have achieved a Page 1 position so quickly. In fact of my two main websites, one is at ~1 and the other at #2 for their main keyword: the titles of their first page. I achieved that by using a silo structure in my website design, but not only that. Many people use silos without achieving high search engine ranking.

I added a little more, and made sure that the search engine spiders moved from one section of my home page to another, exactly as I wanted them to, before leaving for the next page at exactly the point I wanted it to.

It's not difficult, and you can do it too. In fact anybody can get a top search engine ranking, or improve their search engine position (everybody can't be top!), with just a little thought, and by using a couple of simple rules when designing their web pages.

One of these is by using a silo structure, and the other is by careful use of their html, and of their internal links.

6. Check your keywords and make sure they are relevant and actually are contained in your site. Avoid keywords stuffing.

7. Use text instead of images in your content, links and important subjects.

8. Make your TITLE and ALT tags descriptive, simple and keyword rich. Avoid irrelevant and repeated keywords.

9. Title tag should be 60-80 characters maximum length.

10. Meta tag description should be 160-180 characters including spaces. (about 25-30 words)

11. Meta Tag keywords must be 15-20 words maximum.

12. Optimize Pages with Headings (H1, H2, H3..) containing your site's primary keywords.

13. Validate your CSS and HTML. Check for errors and broken links.

14. If your site contains dynamic pages(i.e., the URL contains a "?" character), make sure you use SEO friendly URLs. Search engines' spiders having difficulty indexing dynamic pages.

15. Maximum links per page must be fewer than 100. Avoid the risk of being flagged as link farm by search engines.

16. Use Lynx as text browser to check your site. (http://lynx.isc.org/)

17. Allow search bots (good ones) to crawl your sites without session IDs or arguments that track their path through the site. Using these techniques may result in incomplete indexing of your site.

18. Check your web server/host if it supports the If-Modified-Since HTTP header. It tells search engines whether your content has changed since last crawled your site. It will save you bandwidth, resources and avoid server overload.

19. Use Robots.txt file to manage and control search engine spiders in indexing your site. You can allow and disallow spiders and choose directories you want to be crawled and indexed. But with bad bots or spam bots you need to modify your HTACCESS file to properly and effectively manage bots or spiders. 20. Do not attempt to present different content to search engines than what you show to your site visitors.

21. Avoid dirty tricks and exploiting loop holes to improve search engines ranking.

22. Avoid links to bad neighborhood such as web spammers, link farms, phishing, hacker, crack, gambling, porn and scam sites. Linking to them will greatly affects your search engine rankings.

23. Do not attempt to join in link schemes, excessive reciprocal links or excessive link exchanging and link exchange web rings.

24. Do not use unauthorized programs or online tools to submit your site, check page rankings and other automated queries. Avoid the risk of being flagged as spam.

25. Do not use hidden text and links. Show to search engines what you show to your visitors. It will greatly affect your site's reputation.

26. Do not attempt to create pages that contains phishing, scam, viruses, trojans, backdoors, spyware, adware and other malicious programs.

27. Make your site useful and informative.

28. Improve your link building. Link to high PR websites. Quality of relevant links are far more important than quantity. Links will greatly improve your site's visibility, popularity and rankings. Search engines consider links as votes to your site.

29. Check your page link structure. Every page should be reachable by a single static text link.

30. Be extra careful in purchasing SEO services. Some uses illegal and questionable ways to improve rankings.

31. Do not buy or sell links.

32. Do not create sites that contains purely affiliate links and no valuable content that are useful to the users.

The simple definition from added value was as follows: above in general, gave more than that it was hoped, had the superior quality, not only good but great. Personal branding is basically the way you market yourself to the world. Your personal brand is what other people think of you. In some ways it’s outside your control, but you obviously have some influence over it.

Personal branding is unavoidable. As others interact with you, they’ll automatically form mental associations that connect you with certain labels, often within the first few seconds. You can’t avoid being labeled, and other people can’t avoid labeling you. It happens automatically because our brains are wired to recognize patterns and form associations. The labels people attach to you become part of your personal brand.

If you type an email, you’re branding yourself. If you have a conversation with a friend or family member, you’re branding yourself. How you dress, what you eat, and how you talk all contribute to your brand. Think of your brand as the summation of all the associations about you that are stored in people’s minds.

External Brand

Your external brand is how you project yourself to the world. There is an element of choice here. You can decide what to say or write in order to convey a certain image. Your projected image will influence what others think of you and how they might choose to interact with you. You may stumble upon this image accidentally, or you can deliberately target a specific type of image.I think the best external image to project is the one you believe best reflects who you really are. Being yourself simply means being honest.

On the other hand, I think there’s some value to projecting an image that fits who you really are. For example if you’re a very neat and organized person, but you have a scruffy beard, you’re broadcasting an incongruent message, whether you agree with it or not. This is why facial hair and salespeople don’t go well together. Many people think that if you have facial hair, you’re trying to hide something, and that isn’t good for work that requires you to build trust. Many years ago I heard about a salesperson who increased his sales just by shaving off his beard.

Paying attention to your external image needn’t become an ego trip. Really it’s just the opposite. Becoming aware of how others see you helps you identify blind spots within yourself. Then you can work on those blind spots to help you become more internally congruent. For example, our bearded salesperson may realize he (hopefully not she) was sabotaging his results because he didn’t really want to work in sales anyway.

Internal Brand

In addition to your external brand, which is how most people think about personal branding, you also have an internal brand. This is what you think of yourself.

What 3 adjectives would you use to describe yourself? Take a moment to think about that, and jot them down. Is this a brand you feel good about? Does it really resonate with you? Is this the same image you project to the world? If you could change those adjectives, what would you change them to?

Now ask yourself if your internal personal brand matches the external brand you project to others. You don’t necessarily know what others think of you, but you should at least know if there are any parts of yourself you don’t fully accept which you try to hide from others. If you find some areas you’ve been hiding, consider that your lack of self-acceptance may be blinding you from seeing these aspects as the assets they really are.

For example, if you see yourself as introverted, you could see that in a negative light (shy, antisocial) or in a positive light (intelligent, deep). If you sometimes describe yourself in negative terms, see if those terms also have a positive side. Consider focusing on the positive aspects instead.

Wowww... This was very frightening? Possibly this apparently very frightening.
But the matter whether that?
What was mentioned with the mental prison?
How could this happen ? and Anyone who entered this category?
Let's me explain to all of you what is called the mental prison. Before i explain that let's me tell you about one best question and anyone had definitely asked about this
matter. The question is " Why could the person be successful?" and "Why could the person fail?". That is the point of The Mental Prison.

From that question, there is many answer from anyone. Even the positive answer or maybe negative answer. That's the point.
Aside from the level of education, the much answer is say ... "oh, maybe he/she can be successful from the legacy of parents " ... "he/she can successful because he/she has of good fate" ...."the successful because has relations were good with the ruler" , or maybe Possibly this answer that many it was said .... " because he/she has enough some money or rich".

The answer so that could hinder themselves to gain the success of the life. The answer that was sent precisely will make the negative paradigm that made their paradigm be curbed and could not be free to work.

This that was acknowledged as The Mental Prison. The matter that precisely hindered us, not pushed us to advance and work hard. The prison bounced that was meant to be various wrong
beliefs and myths, without checking the truth and his legality.

The public prison was known by us to be the place to imprison someone in the period of specific time that did the mistake or the crime. During in the prison, he lost the freedom and some of his rights as the citizen. He will be isolated from the outside world and from all the available information sorts.

The mental prison undertook the same function with the public prison. However a large number of people that consciously or did not realize put themselves into the prison that did not appear the eyes. So what can you do if you are on this situation ?. Is it any way out to solving this problem?. Here this what you can do and must to do.

Study the belief.
There was no good and bad belief. There is only the supportive belief or hindered.
The belief controlled the way of thinking, the attitude, the behaviour, the
lifestyle, and still many the other aspect.

"Money was the root of all the crimes". Or "The rich person was bad". The person with this belief normal his life not special, because he adopted the wrong belief. Not the money belief was the root of all the crimes, but the love would money was the root of all the crimes. This wrong belief that made the prison to be mental for them.

I wanted to end this article with one question for you all. Here were two families that taught two different beliefs. The first family taught be difficult beforehand was happy afterwards. The second family taught be difficult beforehand be difficult afterwards and should not be had been frightened work hard an be difficult in order to look for money. Whatever that far more will be successful financially?

Surabaya (formerly spelled as Soerabaja) is Indonesia's second-largest city, and the capital of the province of East Java. This is certainly an appropriate motto, especially for the people of Surabaya. the 'City of Heroes'. whose history of struggle against foreign invaders is well known.
Surabaya is the commercial and administrative capital of East Java, a thriving business and industrial centre and the province's main port.

In Indonesian history, Surabaya has a big role in freedom struggle of Indonesia. Once upon a time, something that would be an unforgettable moment by this nation is the struggle of people in Surabaya known as the "10 Nopember 1945" incident.

The well known spirit of "Rawe-rawe Rantas Malang-malang Putung" had driven the citizen of Surabaya to fight against the Ally troops which is intruded by NICA. This troops had a mission to take over Surabaya once again. In this incident, the ally general, Mallaby, was killed. They torn the blue color of Dutch's flag in the hotel and set it in the Yamato Hotel. Surabaya is commonly said to derive its name from the words sura or suro (shark) and baya or boyo (crocodile), two creatures which, in a local myth, fought each other in order to gain the title of "the strongest and most powerful animal" in the area according to a Jayabaya prophecy. This prophecy tells about a big fight between a giant white shark and a giant white crocodile in seizing the city upstream. Now the two animals are used as the city's logo.

To memorize the spirit of people in Surabaya at the moment, built a monument called "TUGU PAHLAWAN" in the heart of Surabaya. This monument has been a symbol of Surabaya for years.

The four-hour ride from the steaming Medan had dealt me a blinding headache by the time the bus began to weave through the hairpin bends down to the world's second-largest lake.

Spiritual home to the Batak people, northern Sumatra's Lake Toba has been a stepping stone on the backpacker trail across Asia since the old Flower Power days. In 1975 I followed the flow to the island of Samosir, across this immensely deep, volcanic lake, where the Batak operated bungalow-style guesthouses, cooking up banana smoothies, pancakes and fried rice for a couple of dollars a night.

On Christmas Day we feasted and that evening I joined the local lads in their time-honored rituals: sniggering in the back row at church then calling on girls in their sitting rooms, the parents not-quite-asleep upstairs.

Two decades on, but my journey from Medan remained true to time-honored form, departing from a torrid, oil-soaked bus terminal only after several false starts. Halts to tout for passengers were soon followed by a half-hour lay-over for noodle soup and a fan belt or two.

The simian ancient seated in front chain-smoked as the woman beside him retched onto the floor. My knees were jammed in at an impossible angle. Our driver's aggressive overtaking was excusable because other motorists anticipate such recklessness. And this was the deluxe, three-times-your-basic-fare coach service.

With my headache now slowly easing, I raised my skull off the bench on the ferry deck as we chugged in to land at Samosir's Tuk-tuk Peninsula, the visitor enclave.

Tuk-tuk was unrecognizable.

Shoulder to shoulder, glossy properties lined the shore. Steeply-pitched Batak roofs capped many cabins but other units could have been transplanted from Majorca or the Canary Islands, enclosed in manicured gardens, sheltered by their own embankments and breakwaters.

I had been sweet-talked into putting up at Samosir Cottages, a me-too jumble of cabins tumbling down to the shore. The restaurant's menu promised - and delivered - club sandwiches, spaghetti and milkshakes, but as of old, I inscribed my order in an exercise book.

What one adventure tour company calls "middle-class backpacking" had clearly arrived. At an establishment called Carolina's, fancy landscaping seemed to justify upping the ante to eight dollars a night. Although comfortable enough, my first night's lodgings had been strategically positioned behind a rubbish pit.

A few glimpses of Lake Toba's old beauty began to reappear: the blinding emerald of the rice paddies, the clusters of prow-shaped roofs (echoed right across the Indonesian archipelago by other fragments of a once-widespread culture), the dugout canoes gliding through the shallows and the interplay of clouds on the hillsides out across the water.

Today's travelers are still offered the pancakes, tours and money changing - as well as pizza and direct-dial calls home. Instead of woven matting, bed bugs and tubs of stagnant water they get glazed tiles and recognizable plumbing. Electric light has replaced the sputtering candles, and the old hand-painted signboards are giving way to the bland, neon-lit plastic jobs sponsored by Bintang Beer.

It's not too hard to take: wallowing in a real bathtub - mounted on its dais like a throne - instead of flinching as I tip the dipper over my head.

At dinner I arm myself with a book but am soon interrupted by a plate heaped with (more or less) what I ordered. No more hour-long waits for a simple omelette to be prepared by untrained cooks.

No more of the old instant camaraderie with the other diners, either. What few there are, are engrossed in the CNN news.

Times are tough in Tuk-tuk. Up and down the road, restaurants, shops and guesthouses stand pathetically empty, night after night.

An hour down the coast lives Frans Manurung with his widowed mother, brother and great-aunt Marta. Their 200-year old timber house on stilts is entered by climbing up a stepladder and through a hatch into the sooty gloom. Frans speaks fair English, but it's wasted in his present job shovelling sand. He lost his old job at a resort when the pall of smoke from the 1996 forest fires across Borneo and Sumatra scared everyone away.

Carolina Cottages seems to have the resort recipe just about right. The grounds are meticulously landscaped with hedges, huge shade trees and planter boxes. Cabins are scrupulously-clean and bright, well-plumbed and painted. Most impressive is an eerie absence of noise: no squawking chickens, no tear-jerking music at 6:30 a.m., no motorcycle engines.

A spacious dining room and lounge provide soothing views over the bougainvilleas, across the lake. My only gripe is with the banal menu, on which omelette, pancakes or cheese toast are the most challenging options.

It's too easy to forget which country this is. I have to look up to see the ferries painted that ubiquitous Indonesian blue-green chugging past, their sterns enlivened by the flapping red and white flag. I might just have to slip out the gate for a cultural refresher, an authentically Sumatran Padang-style roadhouse dinner of fly-blown fish heads with chilli, greasy curried chicken and rice.

Samosir exerts its old pull only as my ferry pull away from the landing. The soft light of morning plays across the dappled greens of the escarpment soaring up behind the coastal plain. Church towers flash like mirrors as the villages recede. The lake stretches far off to the south, the blue-grey cliffs merging into the sky.

The sober, majestic, and profound court arts of eastern and central Java, where Javanese is spoken, include wayang kulit shadow theatre, wayang orang unmasked dance, and wayang topeng masked dance.
t is uncertain whether the shadow theatre is indigenous to Java or was brought from India, but the wayang kulit technique of having a single seated puppeteer who manipulates puppets, sings, chants narration, and speaks dialogue seems to be an Indonesian invention. Unlike most court arts, wayang kulit has had centuries of performance in the folk tradition as well, so that today, with several thousand puppeteers active, it is the strongest traditional theatre form in Southeast Asia.

Plays are set in mythological times, some relating to indigenous animistic festivals and worship of local spirits, some directly dramatizing episodes from the Ramayana and Mahabharata epics, while the majority--the Pandawa (Pandav in Sanskrit) cycle of about 100 plays--are essentially Javanese creations in which the five heroic Pandawa brothers are placed in different situations. Three and sometimes four god-clown-servants and a set of ogre-antagonists who are not in the epics at all suggest how far removed the shadow plays are from the epics.

The wayang puppeteer works within one of the world's most carefully organized performing arts, making possible a virtually solo performance without intermission, from around nine at night until the gray before dawn. Each play is in three parts, coordinated with three keys of music played by the gamelan ensemble. Certain standard scenes appear in a standard order, though some may be dropped. "Opening Audience" introduces the play's conflict, "Inner Palace" shows the king meeting his queen(s), and in "Outer Audience" the army is dispatched. In "Forest Clearing" the first battle scene occurs, and in "Foreign Audience" the antagonist kingdom, usually one of overseas ogres, is introduced. Concluding part one are "Foreign Outer Audience," in which the second army marches forth, and "Opening Skirmish," a battle scene between the two armies. The puppeteer chooses from among 150 musical selections, matched to scene type, character, mood, or action. The puppet figures are carved to indicate character type and status according to fixed patterns for nose, eyes, gaze, stance, body build, and costume. The puppeteer can choose one or another puppet of the same character, coloured gold or black or with a stern or relaxed countenance, to indicate the mood of the figure in a particular scene. In battle scenes, he develops individual encounters between opponents, drawing upon a repertory of 119 movements that are classified for use by god, female, refined hero, muscular hero, ogre, or monkey. Formula narrative phrases describe famous kingdoms and characters, and battles are preceded by challenges couched in standard phrases. Although the puppeteer works only from a brief scenario, he is able to extemporize each performance, adding contemporary jokes for the clowns and molding the performance to suit the occasion and the audience. He and his supporting musicians and female singers are improvising within completely known, although exceptionally complex and subtle, artistic conventions.

Performances are commissioned for special occasions and usually can be interpreted in religious or mystical fashion. There may be offertory plays at harvest time or animistic, ritualistic exorcisms protecting children from being devoured by the voracious god Kala. In The Reincarnation of Rama the divine attributes of the god Wisnu (Vishnu in Sanskrit) reincarnate in Ardjuna (Arjuna), hero of the Pandawa cycle and ancestor of the Javanese race. The reason for writing goals for your business is the same as creating positive affirmations on paper. Repeating them out loud everyday at a set time will help reinforce positive actions.

4. Make Sure Break Times Are Really Break Times -
This is an area where most bosses/entrepreneurs fall down. You become so intense about the project or situation you're working on that you don't ease up. Regularly adhering to a specified break schedule, even if you're the boss, releases the tension. If you work on a computer this is even a greater problem because before you realize it - you've been working in that same position for hours.

5. Exercise, Exercise, Exercise -
I know that lately it seems that "exercise" is the cure-all to every physical ailment or your love life, but despite that there is some truth to that ugly word. By "exercise" I don't mean that you should go out and join a gym and spend your lunch-time, 3-days-a-week there working out. What is really beneficial and workable is that at those chiming alerts from your computer, get up and walk around your desk or room. Concentrated, tense thinking - typing - plotting plans - or whatever your work, makes all those muscles tighten up and knot up. Then when we move we "ooh" and "ouch" because we've knotted up into a ball of tension.

One of the greatest disservice modern business décor has done to us, is making our offices pristine, sleek, unencumbered spaces. There is nothing more relaxing than getting up from your desk and walking over to a peaceful, serene, seascape or pastoral painting and just drinking it in visually. Momentarily transporting your mind out of work and into that place does wonders. A few good paintings and less shiny chrome in offices would benefit us all.

It only takes a little concentrated effort on our part to keep motivated and productive, which leads to success.

Dream ? Why we talking about dream ? Is it very important to make someone more success ? What kind of dream that can motivated people ? Well.... maybe all of that question right now is what you want to say. Let's me explain why a dream can change people more success, more powerful, and all of good things they can do.

Everyone has a dream. A fantasy, who help them trough reality. Every dream has a destination, a high destination of course... Dream of success is very much dream in the world. Everyone want to be a success people. Have a lot of money, luxury car, until a dream to be a powerful people. This is called Dream of Success.

A high success dream on your mind who is want you achieve, is one step beginning to the gate of success. Why ? It is very nice to know why we must have a highly success dream. Cause, everyone who is called success people in this world must starting with a dream.Yes every success people starting they success only from a dream.

Is it enough ? I don't think so. Is it enough just you have a success dream without you never do anything ? Well maybe only superman can do it. A dream is still a dream and never to be reality if you just stop it with your dream without you have to do what you have to do. Yes you must make action right now. Have a dream is very easy thing, but to change that, you need some proses.

If you want your dream come true, is depending from how you can focuses that dream into reality. Off course to change a dream you need high action or even you need sacrifice. You can start on focuses your dream with learning, reading much more book than someone else, or you can starting make networking with other potential people to developing your dream.

The dream is not so easily into reality . Much barrier or even threat will be handicapped you. You are work so hard, work so smart, and immolation but you still believe that you are not try to make your truly dream. And it's called FAILURE or abortive attempt. Much of people dream is becoming extinct in this situation.

When we have been around failure, you must remember that you have a dream. You must more active to trying again and again, still focuses on your dream and never give up until you can reached. One thing that you must believing, always learning from your experience of a bad quarter of an hour and try again and again, i believe that your dream must be come true into reality.

Experience is the best teacher. Don't make failure can barred from your success dream. You must believe that your dream can be reality from your high effort and never give up until that is done.

DON'T STOP TO REACH YOUR DREAM. MAKING UP FOR YOUR WISH IS WISER THAN ONLY FANTASIZE.
