If you have managed to get that listing then you can improve your search engine position by means of links back to your website and also by improving your content.

Significant improvements, however, will likely involve radical restructuring of your website, and would have been better thought out before building your site.

Many so-called SEO experts will attempt to make sure that all your meta tags are in place, even though they have little bearing any more on your search engine rank, be that on Google, Yahoo, MSN or Ask.

They might even have a look at your internal linking, but once you have built your website it is too late for that. Your internal linking strategy should have been formulated prior to constructing your website. There are ways to design a site to be search engine friendly, and I use them all the time.

The very first two websites I tried these techniques on each reached page #1 on Google for their main keyword within less than a month. They were listed within two days due to other techniques I use, but their high listings were due to the site design. I then designed a third, and true to form, it reached page #1.

You want that success as well, and it is not difficult to achieve. However, it involves starting from the bottom up, although there is a lot that you can do with your existing website apart from just playing around with meta tags. I am not suggesting that you shouldn't make sure that you have meta descriptions and a title tag in your html, but they are nothing like as significant as the changes I make to my websites to improve their search engine ranking. Not even close!

There are a number of changes you can make to improve your search engine position, ranging from your internal linking to the way you lead the spiders around your site.

Just ask yourself one simple question: what determines your search engine rank on Google? How does Google calculate your search engine position? That's the first thing you have to learn if you want to improve yours. You have to know your enemy to beat him.

It's not only links, as many would have you believe, or I would never have achieved a Page 1 position so quickly. In fact of my two main websites, one is at ~1 and the other at #2 for their main keyword: the titles of their first page. I achieved that by using a silo structure in my website design, but not only that. Many people use silos without achieving high search engine ranking.

I added a little more, and made sure that the search engine spiders moved from one section of my home page to another, exactly as I wanted them to, before leaving for the next page at exactly the point I wanted it to.

It's not difficult, and you can do it too. In fact anybody can get a top search engine ranking, or improve their search engine position (everybody can't be top!), with just a little thought, and by using a couple of simple rules when designing their web pages.

One of these is by using a silo structure, and the other is by careful use of their html, and of their internal links.

About the Author: Peter Nisbet - If you want to learn how I achieve my high search engine ranking positions, visit SEOcious where I will show by means of screenshots of my html exactly what I do, and also how I lead search engine spiders as though they were on a lead.

32 SEO Tips

Following these simple tips will definitely boost your traffic and search engine rankings for free. Like that it was said by Edwin Reyes on him findmesoftware.com site.

1. Make sure your site is not under construction, incomplete, with little or no unique content.

2. When your site is ready, submit it to Google, Yahoo, MSN and ASK.com. Submit your sitemap to Google, Yahoo, MSN and ASK.com (sitemap for search engines usually in XML format)

4. Offer sitemap to your site visitors for easy page navigation. Avoid irrelevant and repeated keywords.

9. Title tag should be 60-80 characters maximum length.

10. Meta tag description should be 160-180 characters including spaces. (about 25-30 words)

11. Meta Tag keywords must be 15-20 words maximum.

12. Allow search bots (good ones) to crawl your sites without session IDs or arguments that track their path through the site. Using these techniques may result in incomplete indexing of your site.

18. Check your web server/host if it supports the If-Modified-Since HTTP header. It tells search engines whether your content has changed since last crawled your site. It will save you bandwidth, resources and avoid server overload.

19. Use Robots.txt file to manage and control search engine spiders in indexing your site. You can allow and disallow spiders and choose directories you want to be crawled and indexed. But with bad bots or spam bots you need to modify your HTACCESS file to properly and effectively manage bots or spiders. Visit http://www.robotstxt.org/wc/faq.html to learn more about Robots.txt file.

20. Do not attempt to present different content to search engines than what you show to your site visitors.

21. Links will greatly improve your site's visibility, popularity and rankings. Search engines consider links as votes to your site.

29. Check your page link structure. Every page should be reachable by a single static text link.

30. Be extra careful in purchasing SEO services. Some uses illegal and questionable ways to improve rankings.

31. Do not buy or sell links.

32. Why? Because the situation and the first condition pleased our heart or in accordance with what was hoped for by us,.....

Because the situation and the first condition pleased our heart or in accordance with what was hoped for by us, so as we found it easy very much had thoughts and positive emotions. While the second condition was to be the reverse. Our ego usually at once reacts when facing something that was not wanted by us. And if we thought about negatively, often spreading to other matters that usually the negative also.

Possibly we had experienced the situation where many works in the office waited to be completed with deadline that was increasingly close. When we were racing with time between meeting with the client or the friend of one division while trying to put one by one our work in order, suddenly the big boss asked us to do another thing straightaway without giving us tolerance for time to complete our main work. What was our first reaction? Irritated, angry, disappointed, although in the heart or even struck the table?

The attitudes will in no way make us a step more advanced to complete the work, precisely made energy that was dismissed by us become multiple. Not only completed the work, but also to bear fluctuating emotions. If we wanted to study to not fast reacted negatively and began in a grateful manner, the available work will be felt lighter. Possibly this really had difficulty being done, but still enabled to be done by us !!!

This life will be felt more beautiful and valuable when we developed positive thoughts. Thought about positively being one of the keys to reach a success of the life and the work. Thought positive was our category and was not determined by who also and by the situation around us. Was not possible in our life trip to not have something that could not we grateful ? So... Come on together celebrated each success that was achieved by us in our life, did till at this time we be not still well-off to stand, moved, thought, worked, and to interact with the other person. Personal Branding involves identifying your key strengths and expertise, identifying the real needs that you can meet for your ideal clients, and then communicating your message consistently in many different ways.It can be the most powerful tool for success in your self-marketing toolkit.

You can identify, package and market who you are to build a personal brand that leads to business growth, influence, and income.

Here are three key things you need to develop a strong personal brand:

1. A clear, unique strength, talent, or expertise.
Get clear on your personal strengths, talents, values, and core area of expertise.
Understand how you connect, consider what your target needs and wants, and then
identify the value and the experience that you can deliver to meet those needs
and wants.

2. An ability to clearly articulate that uniqueness.
The process is about having self-awareness of your strengths and talents, and
then letting everyone know about your gifts, talents, and experience. It's about
giving a clear impression of who you are, what you value, what you're committed
to, and how you can be counted upon to act.

3. The persistence to communicate your brand consistently through many channels.
Consistency is one of the keys to building a strong personal brand. Be aware
of being consistent in every interaction you have, both in what you say and
how you respond.

A great way to deliver a consistent message is through an email newsletter. Your brand is developed over time by all the associations made, the expectations met, the messages communicated, and the services delivered. Establishing a Professional Brand is absolutely critical to long term, sustainable business growth. In an overcrowded marketplace, if you're not standing out, then you're invisible. Branding your products and services will give you an edge over your competition and enhance your value to your target market.

Personal Branding will differentiate you, your business, and your products and services so that you stand out from the crowd, get noticed – and get hired.
The marketplace is waiting for you to make your mark on it. What are you waiting for?

Personal Branding is all about knowing what you have to offer to your marketplace and what makes you different from everyone else so that you can stand out and be recognized and remembered.

SUCCESS WAS A CHOICE

The success was the desired for anyone. There was not someone also that wanted the failure in his life. To be able to achieve the success in living this, then we must before have an aim of the life (goal setting). The nonexistence of the aim of the life in ourselves made us have a passive attitude accepted anything also that was put forward by a life to us, and the life we will become very boring.

Most people who lived without an aim of the life will be focussed only on his life and finished the time boringly and without the achievement of the significant achievement. They will only become "a spectator" in a life. They could only see the success of the other person but in no way had imagined a success for himself. This that was mentioned by living aimless. We must have the living mission that was high in this world so that our life is more significant and significant.

To achieve a success indeed be easy and was full of the complicated road. The failure or the mistake was a challenge that must be able to be passed through by us and respond to as well as possible. Many people wanted the success in his life, but very few that dared to face this failure. If we wanted the success, we might not be frightened of the failure.

We must know with the noose a person of Abraham Lincoln. He was the statesman's big noose that had not been frightened of a failure. Please was imagined by us, more than 25 years a person of Abraham Lincoln experienced failure phases in his life before becoming a United States President.

A period that for quite a long time for a person of Abraham Lincoln to bring about his dream. For that also he learned from the failure and the mistake, continued to remain and struggle, until looking for the method that was better for achieved a victory.

It is another matter if we when facing our failure stopped continuing to try, then at the time also we will be acknowledged as a person who failed or the loser. Remembered would a wise word that "Winners Never Quit, Quitters Never Win !!".

The competition

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_x_vu925v5gY/SHW1kEvR9dI/AAAAAAAAAEM/bKPjvdsZ_vk/s320/run-logo-sm.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5221278974357927378" />
This time to compete.
In this global era was rare and almost not there are those that could become the owner of the market. All the holes have been filled up by the tight competition. If being not ready in the world of the increasingly competitive business, to be able to be confirmed we will be eliminated.

The same thing also was current for us as the worker.
If our potential did not develop, or our achievement was very minimal or the productivity of our work far from efficient and effective words, then readied-readied we left the seat vice versa invited the other person who will occupy him.

However really wise if we did not hate the situation that required us to compete, let alone must hate our competitor.
Because of having many profits that could be obtained by us in a competition if we could respond to with the positive point of view.
Firstly, the competition could become the fuel to encourage our company.
Without the competition possibly our achievement was very normal, but after having the threat from the competitor wanted to not want us to have to increase our achievement as well as possible.
If not, we will die!

Secondly, the competition made us know our position.
The success of the competitor could be used by us as the barometer or denied measured. At least we will know whether we were far backward, or now we that was the leader of the market. If we realized that we were left, then we would quickly pursued the remainder.

Thirdly, the competition will make us increasingly creative and innovative.
There was no satisfied term after achieving the certain point. Moreover when we have become market leader although, if we did not want our position to be preceded by our competitor. Want to not want us to continue to make an effort to continue creative and innovative.

Fourthly, especially for you who lived in the competition among the fellow workmate, was convinced that with the existence of the competition then you could show the best potential that was owned by you. You will continue did personal improvement because of a competition. Was the competition not good?

Without the competition then we will become static, and failed reached that was best in himself.

TEAM WORK

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_x_vu925v5gY/SHWxz5r91QI/AAAAAAAAAEE/G3aftEy4pbk/s320/teamwork.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5221274848222631170" />
I always thought that a team of sport that was scattered with the star, definitely will pan for gold the success and became the champion.
Indeed could not be denied again that the capacity and the individual expertise were very influential in the potential for the team, but evidently that not everything.

There was one matter more that was more important than only a skill the individual, that is the co-operation in the team!
There was one matter more that was more important than only a skill the individual, that is the co-operation in the team!

For you who liked football, possibly still left a trace strong on our marrow the champion The European Cup during 2004.

The champion not Italy, England, France, the Netherlands or Spain that was widespread the star, but precisely Greece that in no way was count on and regarded as the underdog team .

Was not wrong also if the Greek team was in no way counted on, because of them indeed to not have the very prominent player, his name we had not very nearly heard him.
Then whether the key to their success so as they succeeded in beating supreme teams?
The team's co-operation!

To gain the success, the work of the solid team absolute was needed.
If not having the good co-operation, this will really slow down the achievement of the whole. To the task of a leader to make a team of the solid work, this will have a big impact for the progress of the company.

I the good quotation of words from Michael Jordan, the NBA star, "There's so many teams in each kind of sport that had great players but had not won the match."
Often, these players did not want to make a sacrifice for the greatness of the better team. The ridiculous matter was, at the end their reluctance to make a sacrifice only made the aims personal more was difficult to be reached. One matter that was trusted by me was if you thought and reached something as a team, personal respect will come automatically.

The team's co-operation is the key to our success. The element of the individual was indeed important, but not there are those that could replace the team's co-operation!

One person could become the element in a team, but one person could not make the team.

ADDED VALUE

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_x_vu925v5gY/SHQymkF_9oI/AAAAAAAAAD8/siRxuI6QTRg/s320/Added-Value.gif" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5220853506134505090" />
We often heard good added value in the business, the work, the career, and our profession. What was meant with added value? The simple definition from added value was as follows: above in general, gave more than that it was hoped, had the superior quality, not only good but great. Added value could also mean to have the honest attitude was added value, but if anyone had a honest attitude, then the attitude was worth the standard. Gave the good service was added value, but if our competitors also gave the good service, then the service that was good became the value of the standard.

Concerning this above, then could be attracted by a conclusion that added value was a quality above in general that was progressive. How with the business and our work ? How our attitude in pursuing our career ? If our quality like most businesses or most people, then we will enter a zone that was acknowledged as the general zone.

What the general zone ? The zone in general was a situation where we or our business was in the level that was the same as the other business. Good in the service, the productivity, as well as other matters that were the same as the other business. If we entered this zone, then we were not possible to stand out. If we did not stand out, then we will not be possible to be able to steal much attention. If we could not steal attention, then we will not be regarded and was easy to be forgotten.

That was the reason in the world of the very competitive business like at this time, all of us were prosecuted to be able to give added value, both in the product like the product innovation, and the service or the quality of the work that was offered by us. To be able to give added value, then was needed by creativity from all personal the available business; mad ideas that would revolution your business; unique methods that were applied by your business were good in the marketing, the distribution, management, et cetera; the superior attitude; and the extraordinary breakthrough.

All of it that will give added value directly for you were personal and for company. This that can make your business increasingly advanced and developed not only for a moment but for the period that for quite a long time. Remembered to always look for mad ideas of your creativity to become that was foremost and most superior. Creativity that without the limit will make added value that was increasingly big for you and your business.

What about you ? What is your added value ? ..............

PERSONAL BRANDING

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_x_vu925v5gY/SHL8daE8hzI/AAAAAAAAADw/mko3E7a2f7Q/s320/images1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5220512500222297906" />
Personal branding is basically the way you market yourself to the world. Your personal brand is what other people think of you. In some ways it’s outside your control, but you obviously have some influence over it.

Personal branding is unavoidable. As others interact with you, they’ll automatically form mental associations that connect you with certain labels, often within the first few seconds. You can’t avoid being labeled, and other people can’t avoid labeling you. It happens automatically because our brains are wired to recognize patterns and form associations. The labels people attach to you become part of your personal brand.

If you type an email, you’re branding yourself. If you have a conversation with a friend or family member, you’re branding yourself. How you dress, what you eat, and how you talk all contribute to your brand. Think of your brand as the summation of all the associations about you that are stored in people’s minds.

External Brand

Your external brand is how you project yourself to the world. There is an element of choice here. You can decide what to say or write in order to convey a certain image. Your projected image will influence what others think of you and how they might choose to interact with you. You may stumble upon this image accidentally, or you can deliberately target a specific type of image.I think the best external image to project is the one you believe best reflects who you really are. Being yourself simply means being honest.

On the other hand, I think there’s some value to projecting an image that fits who you really are. For example if you’re a very neat and organized person, but you have a scruffy beard, you’re broadcasting an incongruent message, whether you agree with it or not. This is why facial hair and salespeople don’t go well together. Many people think that if you have facial hair, you’re trying to hide something, and that isn’t good for work that requires you to build trust. Many years ago I heard about a salesperson who increased his sales just by shaving off his beard.

Paying attention to your external image needn’t become an ego trip. Really it’s just the opposite. Becoming aware of how others see you helps you identify blind spots within yourself. Then you can work on those blind spots to help you become more internally congruent. For example, our bearded salesperson may realize he (hopefully not she) was sabotaging his results because he didn’t really want to work in sales anyway.

Internal Brand

In addition to your external brand, which is how most people think about personal branding, you also have an internal brand. This is what you think of yourself.

What 3 adjectives would you use to describe yourself? Take a moment to think about that, and jot them down. Is this a brand you feel good about? Does it really resonate with you? Is this the same image you project to the world? If you could change those adjectives, what would you change them to?

Now ask yourself if your internal personal brand matches the external brand you project to others. You don’t necessarily know what others think of you, but you should at least know if there are any parts of yourself you don’t fully accept which you try to hide from others. If you find some areas you’ve been hiding, consider that your lack of self-acceptance may be blinding you from seeing these aspects as the assets they really are.

For example, if you see yourself as introverted, you could see that in a negative light (shy, antisocial) or in a positive light (intelligent, deep). If you sometimes describe yourself in negative terms, see if those terms also have a positive side. Consider focusing on the positive aspects instead.

Go to steve pavlina website to increase your personal development

Heart Motivation

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_x_vu925v5gY/SHLvDoU8msI/AAAAAAAAADo/A0P7kPToRSs/s320/daily_motivation.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5220497763719748290" />
The motivation was a spirit. The spirit of the change that was carried out by someone for his future. Motivation is obviously the key to success. You can choose the lifestyle you want, you can choose to believe in anything that you want to, but unless you have a strong motivation, your purposes will be hard to accomplish. Sometimes, it does not even matter how many years you spent in school or how many awards you’ve gathered. All you need is a motivating vision and you can be sure that sooner or later your dreams will come true. This motivation could emerge from inside himself someone or that normally is mentioned with ....

This motivation could emerge from inside himself someone or that normally is mentioned with intrinsic and the motivation that came from the other person or that normally is mentioned either extrinsic. The two factors stimulative this that could develop the motivation or the spirit of this person and finally became a motivation himself or the heart motivation. Motivation discussions will this time be discussed concerning the motivation that came from the heart or intrinsic.

Intrinsic sources can be further sub categorized as either body/physical, mind/mental (i.e., cognitive, affective, conative) or trans personal/spiritual. Why the motivation from inside himself someone so important to be discussed ? From results of several of the expert's researches in the motivation showed that 83 % the motivation someone was determined by his heart or self affirming and only 17 % that was confirmation of the decision from the other person.

When you look up heart motivation you will probably come across several different meanings. These words are used in many different settings. The most common setting is in the biblical or spiritual sense. Many people believe that you are motivated most by what’s inside your heart. This is meant in a spiritual way. If you have goodness in your heart, you are motivated by that. If it is badness in your heart, you are motivated by that.

When you believe that you are motivated by your heart, you will want to try to live your life in as positive a way as possible. This means that you will want to try to live life in a spiritual and clean way. You won’t want to damage your body with drugs or alcohol and you will want to attend a spiritual service or study a religion probably. This is a fantastic way to get your life in order and therefore create great motivation.

If heart motivation rings true for you, you will likely listen to your feelings and make decisions with your heart instead of your head. To motivate yourself, you might have to do things that please you emotionally. You have likely heard that people should make decisions with their head, however your heart motivation shows you exactly what you should do to make you happy, even if it is not the best move intellectually.

One fairly common technique is that of visualization. An athlete might visualize themselves crossing the finish line for example. Repeated visualization of this scenario might eventually teach the mind and body to fulfill the visualization. Visualization could be a very exact motivation. With visualization of the dream and our aim, then we could be motivated by him day by day because visualization was the real form from our wish.

To learn more about heart motivation, consider trying to meditate. This will help you get in tune with your feelings. You should listen to your heart motivation without thinking about advice from others. This will only lead to confusion because they don’t know what’s in your heart. So, try doing spiritual meditative techniques to get more in touch with your inner motivations and to make life decisions.

The Mental Prison

Wowww... This was very frightening? Possibly this apparently very frightening.
But the matter whether that?
What was mentioned with the mental prison?
How could this happen ? and Anyone who entered this category?
Let's me explain to all of you what is called the mental prison. Before i explain that let's me tell you about one best question and anyone had definitely asked about this
matter. The question is " Why could the person be successful?" and "Why could the person fail?". That is the point of The Mental Prison.

From that question, there is many answer from anyone. Even the positive answer or maybe negative answer. That's the point.
Aside from the level of education, the much answer is say ... "oh, maybe he/she can be successful from the legacy of parents " ... "he/she can successful because he/she has of good fate" ...."the successful because has relations were good with the ruler" , or maybe Possibly this answer that many it was said .... " because he/she has enough some money or rich".

The answer so that could hinder themselves to gain the success of the life. The answer that was sent precisely will make the negative paradigm that made their paradigm be curbed and could not be free to work.

This that was acknowledged as The Mental Prison. The matter that precisely hindered us, not pushed us to advance and work hard. The prison bounced that was meant to be various wrong
beliefs and myths, without checking the truth and his legality.

The public prison was known by us to be the place to imprison someone in the period of specific time that did the mistake or the crime. During in the prison, he lost the freedom and some of his rights as the citizen. He will be isolated from the outside world and from all the available information sorts.

The mental prison undertook the same function with the public prison. However a large number of people that consciously or did not realize put themselves into the prison that did not appear the eyes. So what can you do if you are on this situation ?. Is it any way out to solving this problem?. Here this what you can do and must to do.

Study the belief.
There was no good and bad belief. There is only the supportive belief or hindered.
The belief controlled the way of thinking, the attitude, the behaviour, the
lifestyle, and still many the other aspect.

"Money was the root of all the crimes". Or "The rich person was bad". The person with this belief normal his life not special, because he adopted the wrong belief. Not the money belief was the root of all the crimes, but the love would money was the root of all the crimes. This wrong belief that made the prison to be mental for them.

I wanted to end this article with one question for you all. Here were two families that taught two different beliefs. The first family taught be difficult beforehand was happy afterwards. The second family taught be difficult beforehand be difficult afterwards and should not be had been frightened work hard an be difficult in order to look for money. Whatever that far more will be successful financially?

Source : Total Quality "Best Motivation Corporate"
www.tqpartner.com

SPARKLING SURABAYA

Surabaya (formerly spelled as Soerabaja) is Indonesia's second-largest city, and the capital of the province of East Java. It is located on the northern shore of eastern Java at the mouth of the Mas River and at the side of the Madura Strait. Known as the city of heroes, because of its heroic role in the history of Indonesia.
"Jer Basuki Mawa Bea" are the words emblazoning the emblem of East Java. Translated. they mean that achievements are only won through sacrifice.

This is certainly an appropriate motto, especially for the people of Surabaya. the 'City of Heroes'. whose history of struggle against foreign invaders is well known.
Surabaya is the commercial and administrative capital of East Java, a thriving business and industrial centre and the province's main port.

In Indonesian history, Surabaya has a big role in freedom struggle of Indonesia. Once upon a time, something that would be an unforgettable moment by this nation is the struggle of people in Surabaya known as the "10 Nopember 1945" incident.

The well known spirit of "Rawe-rawe Rantas Malang-malang Putung" had driven the citizen of Surabaya to fight against the Ally troops which is intruded by NICA. This troops had a mission to take over Surabaya once again. In this incident, the ally general, Mallaby, was killed. They torn the blue color of Dutch's flag in the hotel and set it in the Yamato Hotel. Because of that incident, people of Surabaya or who has ever settled in Surabaya proudly being called "Arek Suroboyo".
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_x_vu925v5gY/SGmmkNeVrDI/AAAAAAAAADY/LR3yB1_7x_U/s320/suroboyo.gif" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5217884784307842098" />

Surabaya is commonly said to derive its name from the words sura or suro (shark) and baya or boyo (crocodile), two creatures which, in a local myth, fought each other in order to gain the title of "the strongest and most powerful animal" in the area according to a Jayabaya prophecy. This prophecy tells about a big fight between a giant white shark and a giant white crocodile in seizing the city upstream. Now the two animals are used as the city's logo.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_x_vu925v5gY/SGmm5Vd3EWI/AAAAAAAAADg/zGu92BbFYc4/s320/tugu+pahlawan.gif" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5217885147230572898" />

To memorize the spirit of people in Surabaya at the moment, built a monument called "TUGU PAHLAWAN" in the heart of Surabaya. This monument has been a symbol of Surabaya for years.

As the main seaport and commercial center in the eastern region of Indonesia, Surabaya has become one of the largest cities in Southeast Asia. Today, Surabaya's population is around five million, and the surrounding metropolitan area houses at least 7 million. The areas surrounding Surabaya include Lamongan to the northwest, Gresik to the west, Bangkalan to the northeast, Sidoarjo to the south, and Mojokerto and Jombang to the southwest.

Surabaya has been the center of industry for the area surrounding the city, extending to the East Indonesia. The regions, e.c. Tandes, Benowo, Asemrowo, Rungkut (PT. SIER), Gunung Anyar are the main industrial areas which consists of food, trade, chemical, cloth, etc.

Surabaya is a progressive capital undergoing rapid change. Former negative reports about the city from foreign visitors are thus clearly unwarranted today. In fact, Surabaya now enjoys the reputation as being the cleanest city in Indonesia, equipped with every modern facility and offering a standard of accommodation to suit every taste and budget. Places of interest for the tourist require Kalimas harbour and Kampung Arab in the old part of town, the Mpu Tantular Museum, as well as one of the largest zoos in south east Asia.

Surabaya is a maritime city which is well known since the Kingdom of Majapahit. At that moment trade activity concentrate in the Ujung Dock, which is now known as Tanjung Perak Harbor. As a second biggest harbor in Indonesia, many kinds of supporting industry such as shipment and workshop facilities are built in the area. P.T. PAL as a repair shop and ship building has turned into a trend settler from many other similar company in Indonesia.

Along with the progress of industrial sector, the economic rate of Surabaya growth rapidly. The growth is around 7,5 % per year. Many trades center can be found is Surabaya. Some of them are the Tunjungan Plaza, World Trade Centre (WTC), Tunjungan Centre, Surabaya Plaza, Jembatan Merah Plaza, Surabaya Mall dan Galaxy Mall.

Commercial trading in Surabaya has an important role for the development of Eastern Indonesia, and especially for East Java. The primary trade activities covering the large area from the port in the north to the city center is wholesale trading of products.

LAKE TOBA

Clouds of clove-scented cigarette smoke, diesel fumes, second-hand air: it takes a few gusts of fresh air off the mountain waters to dispel a fug like that. The four-hour ride from the steaming Medan had dealt me a blinding headache by the time the bus began to weave through the hairpin bends down to the world's second-largest lake.

Spiritual home to the Batak people, northern Sumatra's Lake Toba has been...........

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_x_vu925v5gY/SGiWazUEWZI/AAAAAAAAADQ/bWuITaF3v-8/s320/toba.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5217585555503864210" />

Spiritual home to the Batak people, northern Sumatra's Lake Toba has been a stepping stone on the backpacker trail across Asia since the old Flower Power days. In 1975 I followed the flow to the island of Samosir, across this immensely deep, volcanic lake, where the Batak operated bungalow-style guesthouses, cooking up banana smoothies, pancakes and fried rice for a couple of dollars a night.

On Christmas Day we feasted and that evening I joined the local lads in their time-honored rituals: sniggering in the back row at church then calling on girls in their sitting rooms, the parents not-quite-asleep upstairs.

Two decades on, but my journey from Medan remained true to time-honored form, departing from a torrid, oil-soaked bus terminal only after several false starts. Halts to tout for passengers were soon followed by a half-hour lay-over for noodle soup and a fan belt or two.

The simian ancient seated in front chain-smoked as the woman beside him retched onto the floor. My knees were jammed in at an impossible angle. Our driver's aggressive overtaking was excusable because other motorists anticipate such recklessness. And this was the deluxe, three-times-your-basic-fare coach service.

With my headache now slowly easing, I raised my skull off the bench on the ferry deck as we chugged in to land at Samosir's Tuk-tuk Peninsula, the visitor enclave.

Tuk-tuk was unrecognizable.

Shoulder to shoulder, glossy properties lined the shore. Steeply-pitched Batak roofs capped many cabins but other units could have been transplanted from Majorca or the Canary Islands, enclosed in manicured gardens, sheltered by their own embankments and breakwaters.

I had been sweet-talked into putting up at Samosir Cottages, a me-too jumble of cabins tumbling down to the shore. The restaurant's menu promised - and delivered - club sandwiches, spaghetti and milkshakes, but as of old, I inscribed my order in an exercise book.

What one adventure tour company calls "middle-class backpacking" had clearly arrived. At an establishment called Carolina's, fancy landscaping seemed to justify upping the ante to eight dollars a night. Although comfortable enough, my first night's lodgings had been strategically positioned behind a rubbish pit.

A few glimpses of Lake Toba's old beauty began to reappear: the blinding emerald of the rice paddies, the clusters of prow-shaped roofs (echoed right across the Indonesian archipelago by other fragments of a once-widespread culture), the dugout canoes gliding through the shallows and the interplay of clouds on the hillsides out across the water.

Today's travelers are still offered the pancakes, tours and money changing - as well as pizza and direct-dial calls home. Instead of woven matting, bed bugs and tubs of stagnant water they get glazed tiles and recognizable plumbing. Electric light has replaced the sputtering candles, and the old hand-painted signboards are giving way to the bland, neon-lit plastic jobs sponsored by Bintang Beer.

It's not too hard to take: wallowing in a real bathtub - mounted on its dais like a throne - instead of flinching as I tip the dipper over my head.

At dinner I arm myself with a book but am soon interrupted by a plate heaped with (more or less) what I ordered. No more hour-long waits for a simple omelette to be prepared by untrained cooks.

No more of the old instant camaraderie with the other diners, either. What few there are, are engrossed in the CNN news.

Times are tough in Tuk-tuk. Up and down the road, restaurants, shops and guesthouses stand pathetically empty, night after night.

An hour down the coast lives Frans Manurung with his widowed mother, brother and great-aunt Marta. Their 200-year old timber house on stilts is entered by climbing up a stepladder and through a hatch into the sooty gloom. Frans speaks fair English, but it's wasted in his present job shovelling sand. He lost his old job at a resort when the pall of smoke from the 1996 forest fires across Borneo and Sumatra scared everyone away.

Carolina Cottages seems to have the resort recipe just about right. The grounds are meticulously landscaped with hedges, huge shade trees and planter boxes. Cabins are scrupulously-clean and bright, well-plumbed and painted. Most impressive is an eerie absence of noise: no squawking chickens, no tear-jerking music at 6:30 a.m., no motorcycle engines.

A spacious dining room and lounge provide soothing views over the bougainvilleas, across the lake. My only gripe is with the banal menu, on which omelette, pancakes or cheese toast are the most challenging options.

It's too easy to forget which country this is. I have to look up to see the ferries painted that ubiquitous Indonesian blue-green chugging past, their sterns enlivened by the flapping red and white flag. I might just have to slip out the gate for a cultural refresher, an authentically Sumatran Padang-style roadhouse dinner of fly-blown fish heads with chilli, greasy curried chicken and rice.

Samosir exerts its old pull only as my ferry pull away from the landing. The soft light of morning plays across the dappled greens of the escarpment soaring up behind the coastal plain. Church towers flash like mirrors as the villages recede. The lake stretches far off to the south, the blue-grey cliffs merging into the sky.

Traditional Performing Arts of Indonesia

The sober, majestic, and profound court arts of eastern and central Java, where Javanese is spoken, include wayang kulit shadow theatre, wayang orang unmasked dance, and wayang topeng masked dance.
t is uncertain whether the shadow theatre is indigenous to Java or was brought from India, but the wayang kulit technique of having a single seated puppeteer who manipulates puppets, sings, chants narration, and speaks dialogue seems to be an Indonesian invention. Unlike most court arts, wayang kulit has had centuries of performance in the folk tradition as well, so that today, with several thousand puppeteers active, it is the strongest traditional theatre form in Southeast Asia.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_x_vu925v5gY/SGiU8ivydRI/AAAAAAAAADI/tSg_lDQ5qBs/s320/kulit.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5217583936149026066" />
Plays are set in mythological times, some relating to indigenous animistic festivals and worship of local spirits, some directly dramatizing episodes from the Ramayana and Mahabharata epics, while the majority--the Pandawa (Pandav in Sanskrit) cycle of about 100 plays--are essentially Javanese creations in which the five heroic Pandawa brothers are placed in different situations. Three and sometimes four god-clown-servants and a set of ogre-antagonists who are not in the epics at all suggest how far removed the shadow plays are from the epics.

The wayang puppeteer works within one of the world's most carefully organized performing arts, making possible a virtually solo performance without intermission, from around nine at night until the gray before dawn. Each play is in three parts, coordinated with three keys of music played by the gamelan ensemble. Certain standard scenes appear in a standard order, though some may be dropped. "Opening Audience" introduces the play's conflict, "Inner Palace" shows the king meeting his queen(s), and in "Outer Audience" the army is dispatched. In "Forest Clearing" the first battle scene occurs, and in "Foreign Audience" the antagonist kingdom, usually one of overseas ogres, is introduced. Concluding part one are "Foreign Outer Audience," in which the second army marches forth, and "Opening Skirmish," a battle scene between the two armies. The puppeteer chooses from among 150 musical selections, matched to scene type, character, mood, or action. The puppet figures are carved to indicate character type and status according to fixed patterns for nose, eyes, gaze, stance, body build, and costume. The puppeteer can choose one or another puppet of the same character, coloured gold or black or with a stern or relaxed countenance, to indicate the mood of the figure in a particular scene. In battle scenes, he develops individual encounters between opponents, drawing upon a repertory of 119 movements that are classified for use by god, female, refined hero, muscular hero, ogre, or monkey. Formula narrative phrases describe famous kingdoms and characters, and battles are preceded by challenges couched in standard phrases. Although the puppeteer works only from a brief scenario, he is able to extemporize each performance, adding contemporary jokes for the clowns and molding the performance to suit the occasion and the audience. He and his supporting musicians and female singers are improvising within completely known, although exceptionally complex and subtle, artistic conventions.

Performances are commissioned for special occasions and usually can be interpreted in religious or mystical fashion. There may be offertory plays at harvest time or animistic, ritualistic exorcisms protecting children from being devoured by the voracious god Kala. In The Reincarnation of Rama the divine attributes of the god Wisnu (Vishnu in Sanskrit) reincarnate in Ardjuna (Arjuna), hero of the Pandawa cycle and ancestor of the Javanese race. The translucent screen can be interpreted as heaven, the banana-log stage as earth, the puppets as man, and the puppeteer as god, and the Pandawas can symbolize the manifold attributes of righteous behaviour.

Turn Your Income Fast with Affiliate Marketing

The Law of Attraction states that you can have, be, and do whatever you want in life as soon as you master the science of getting rich. As we all live within one connected Universal Energy Field, we can achieve anything we want by aligning ourselves in harmony with Infinite Power.
Here’s how.
4 Action Steps You Must Take to Achieve Financial Success

1. Activate Your Creative Mind, not Competitive Mind:
We typically think competitively. We fill our minds with ideas such as “How can I do better than my competitors?” Or we think, “How can I help my company increase its market share?”
This scarcity mentality manifests to a zero-sum game. One gains, the other loses.
To come into harmony with the Universe, you need to become a Creator, not a Competitor. When creators advance, everyone also advances.

2. Knock Down All Hurdles to Building Your Own Business by Selling Large Companies Products on the Internet:
Before the Internet, a traditional retail business demanded:
• Ample capital and cash flow
• An excellent business plan
• Experienced management team members
• Reliable suppliers
• Efficient inventory and operations management systems
• Store rentals
• Hiring and training of sales assistants
At the end of the month, you would pray your revenues would be higher than your operating costs. The problem for the majority of us is that we lack the necessary startup capital, cash flow, management experience, and connections to start our own business.

Now, thanks to the Internet you can sell large companies’ products on the Internet and eliminate all obstacles. And, these larger companies benefit by cutting their overhead costs.

That’s exactly why many large companies, such as Amazon and Dell are looking to increase their sales force by welcoming affiliates just like you to sell their products online. You are awarded commissions in return.

This way, you don’t have to incur:

• Manufacturing costs
• Inventory costs
• Store Rental costs
• Shipping costs
• Staffing costs

3. Choose Well-Established Companies that Offer High-Commission Plans:
While you may like to sell products affiliated with renowned companies such as Amazon and Dell, you may not be very attracted to their low single-digit percentage commission plan. So choose wisely! You don’t want to pick a saturated market.

I recommend an affiliate program like Bob Proctor and Jack Canfields’ “The Science of Getting Rich” seminar program, where you can get 25% commission fees equaling US$500 per sale!

4. Choose a Lifetime or 2-Tier Affiliate Compensation Package:
Not only do you want to choose a high-commission affiliate program to promote its products and services, but you also want to choose one that offers continual residual income or a 2-tier affiliate compensation plan. This is the most important step as one-time run-offs are ok, but you cannot become insanely rich this way.

For illustrative purpose, let’s use the “Science of Getting Rich (SGR)” Seminar Affiliate Program to show you how a 2-tier affiliate program works:

You will earn US$500 for anyone who purchases the SGR program through your website. When someone buys from you, they also have the option of becoming an Affiliate Member. They are called your Tier 1 Affiliates. When someone purchases through your Tier 1 Affiliate, you will receive an additional US$250. They are called your Tier 2 affiliates.

With the above compensation plan, you can earn one million dollars if you sell, the SGR program for example to only 5 Affiliates each month for a year, and each of these 5 Affiliates sell to 6 other Affiliates (Tier 2) each month for a year.

The beauty of these affiliate type programs is that you are creating steady income even if you decide to stop selling the product to anyone. Your 1st Tier Affiliates will continue to generate recurring income for you.

By leveraging the power of your affiliate network, you will turn your monthly income into annual income.

Successful Leader

There are certain questions like Who are leaders? What are the requirements to become a leader? Are the leadership qualities inherent? How a leader does differ from a normal man? What are the actual leadership qualities? The answers to these questions in a layman language can be given as a leader is one who can lead others, who can control the behavior of others and who can manage others to perform in the desired way. Leadership is not limited to position, experience, training, title or authority.

After studying the biography of hundreds of historical and contemporary leaders it can be concluded that up to some extent leadership qualities are inherent but good leaders are created or made and they are not born because these inherent qualities need to be polished and mold through experiences and are made feel within an individual by giving him some authority. The fact is that a person can become leader if he has strong will to become a successful leader and on his way he constantly develops himself through a process of self analysis, training and then experience.

Now how does a person can become a successful and an effective leader?
It is a simple five step process. This simple five step process can make you a successful leader. These are as:

1. A magnificent vision: A leader can not exist without a vision. The vision is always in the mind of a leader. The vision only can take a leader to perform great action. He should have a clear view of his aim of life that he wanted to achieve in his life.

2. Leader should know his strengths and weaknesses: A wise and right leader is one who has a clear knowledge of his strengths and weaknesses. Without self analysis he will not be able to take right actions in the situations. Like for a leader it is required that he take advantage of his strengths and give a proper defeat to his opponents and he should also avoid the areas of his weaknesses and prefers to hire others for those kinds of jobs.

3. High targets: A good leader is one who has high targets and makes consistent efforts to achieve those targets. With body he gets tired but by mind he is never tired and his mind is always striving to achieve better. Growth is his very first objective.

4. Right choice for selection of right man for right work: A good man is one who has capabilities enough to select the right person for the right job. He should be able to differentiate between the groups of candidates for allotment of work. A leader can only get required support from his group of members only when he has made right decision to select his group members.

5. Commitment Bounded: A good leader is one who is commitment bounded. He always fulfills his promises. He never let his goodwill go down and always work to strive for perfection and to achieve goals for the satisfaction of others and also takes care for the rights and interests of his group members.

Own Home Business

Why work for someone else and commute to an office daily when you can establish you very own business right in the comforts of your home? This would mean flexible hours for working, lesser expense on traveling to and from work and no boss to nag you everyday.

Imagine person "A" working as a sales employee of Company XYZ. Person "A" works up to the wee hours of the morning just so he can sell advertisement space worth at least a million for the smallest size.

When the sale goes through, he gets $20 worth of commission. Person "A" here enriches Company XYZ through his efforts but he only gets his base pay plus the $20 commission---all that for the millions of pesos he brings in to Company XYZ's coffers.

If Person "A" devises a way to establish a home based business similar to what he is doing now for Company XYZ, getting his old clients and building up their list, then perhaps he will have more to take home each month than if he remains working for Company XYZ.

If you are still unsure about your business prospects but are raring to start a home based business, you can do it on a part time basis. This means you will start your home based venture but still hold your eight to five job for financial security until such time you are confident enough about your venture.

While a home based business will not necessarily make you a millionaire, although there is nothing wrong if it happens, it has numerous benefits like flexible work hours, no boss to nag you every day, savings on fuel and time wasted going to and from the office and most of all, you get an income that will depend on your creativity, ingenuity and industriousness.

The trend now is a home based business using the internet. There are people who become successful in their internet home business but there other home based business depending on your hobbies, skills, interests and experience.

It is easy to say that you will be starting a home based business but deciding on the kind of home based business you will have is the difficult part. First, you have to be realistic and take stock of what you have available in terms of skills, interests and experiences. If you are already into a hobby that can be turned into a business venture then the better since it will mean lesser capital and effort since you already have the expertise. Go into a home based business that you enjoy doing.

There are lots of hobbies that can be turned into a home based business like baking, gardening, cross stitching, events organizing and catering. If you are a licensed professional then you can offer your services as a lawyer, doctor or designer. If you are not into retailing or selling, perhaps you can try training. There are other areas of interest which you can turn into a home based business.

Be a Creative People

What is creativity?
Creativity is an act of faith and an art of discovery. It is the ability of a person to create something that is new to world based upon an innovation.

Example: When an apple felt on the head of Newton he formulated laws of motion which are the basis of many present day calculations. When Sir Thomas Alva Edison analyzed the need of light to fight with dark in night, this analysis guided him in the invention of electric bulb. To some extent creativity lies in every person whether he is a famous scientist or lower grade employee.

Creativity lies in depth of your soul in form of innovative ideas which either gets buried in corners of your heart with the passage of time or you do not get support from society, so the need only is to give life to your innovation. Forget about restrictions of society, existing past trends and gain faith upon you. You can learn to be more creative by observing and following highly creative people; reading their biographies. Give shape to your thoughts and bring your thoughts into life. Don't be protractive in giving life to your innovation. Creative people have a strong desire to express themselves and sometimes they need to fight to secure their rights.

How are creative people?
Did you ever think of what the difference is between and ordinary person and highly creative people? Both have the same body structure so where the difference lies? The answer to this question is that between a simple man and highly creative people the difference lies in mind, attitude and perception. The main characteristics where creativity of a person can be judged are:

Unconventional: Creative people are not conventional. They need not stick to society norms and standards. They believe only in what they feel is right. They can bring end to existing conventions. Example: Galileo made a revolt against the existing beliefs in his times and proved that the earth revolves round the sun. And his work of that time is the basis of many calculations of present era.

Individualistic: Creative people d not believe in superstition and have a strong desire to uncover truth.

Inventive: Creative people are highly intelligent and are constantly coming up with innovative ideas. They are always in search of what is missing in world and what could be done more to make life better.

Driven: Creative people are driven by their vision. They have a strong desire to convert their vision into their achievements.

Vision: Creative people are visionary. Their vision lies in their heart and soul. And their priority is always towards their vision.

Intuitive: Creative people are highly intuitive. The work they have to do originate in their soul. They listen their soul and let their soul guide them in their life.

Staying Motivated

Motivating yourself to excel at your job or to be an example to your employees, should not be something you do only when the spirit moves you. Motivational experts get paid big bucks to tell professionals, striving for success, that they must constantly examine these factors. Follow the 5 tips that follow, and watch the changes.

1. Maintain a Positive Attitude -
Let's realize that life is only 10% of what happens to us and 90% how we react to it. You have more confidence in yourself, and know you can change whatever needs changing. If you can make your workplace such a place you'll find happier workers and higher production. You might even find your employees look forward to coming to work!

2. Leave Personal Troubles Home -
Everyone has problems, but they don't belong at work. Turn your attention and energy entirely to your on-the-job tasks.

3. Create Positive Affirmations -
The reason for writing goals for your business is the same as creating positive affirmations on paper. Repeating them out loud everyday at a set time will help reinforce positive actions.

4. Make Sure Break Times Are Really Break Times -
This is an area where most bosses/entrepreneurs fall down. You become so intense about the project or situation you're working on that you don't ease up. Regularly adhering to a specified break schedule, even if you're the boss, releases the tension. If you work on a computer this is even a greater problem because before you realize it - you've been working in that same position for hours.

5. Exercise, Exercise, Exercise -
I know that lately it seems that "exercise" is the cure-all to every physical ailment or your love life, but despite that there is some truth to that ugly word. By "exercise" I don't mean that you should go out and join a gym and spend your lunch-time, 3-days-a-week there working out. What is really beneficial and workable is that at those chiming alerts from your computer, get up and walk around your desk or room. Concentrated, tense thinking - typing - plotting plans - or whatever your work, makes all those muscles tighten up and knot up. Then when we move we "ooh" and "ouch" because we've knotted up into a ball of tension.

One of the greatest disservice modern business décor has done to us, is making our offices pristine, sleek, unencumbered spaces. There is nothing more relaxing than getting up from your desk and walking over to a peaceful, serene, seascape or pastoral painting and just drinking it in visually. Momentarily transporting your mind out of work and into that place does wonders. A few good paintings and less shiny chrome in offices would benefit us all.

It only takes a little concentrated effort on our part to keep motivated and productive, which leads to success.

DREAM and DREAM

Dream ? Why we talking about dream ? Is it very important to make someone more success ? What kind of dream that can motivated people ? Well.... maybe all of that question right now is what you want to say. Let's me explain why a dream can change people more success, more powerful, and all of good things they can do.

Everyone has a dream. A fantasy, who help them trough reality. Every dream has a destination, a high destination of course... Dream of success is very much dream in the world. Everyone want to be a success people. Have a lot of money, luxury car, until a dream to be a powerful people. This is called Dream of Success.

A high success dream on your mind who is want you achieve, is one step beginning to the gate of success. Why ? It is very nice to know why we must have a highly success dream. Cause, everyone who is called success people in this world must starting with a dream.Yes every success people starting they success only from a dream.

Is it enough ? I don't think so. Is it enough just you have a success dream without you never do anything ? Well maybe only superman can do it. A dream is still a dream and never to be reality if you just stop it with your dream without you have to do what you have to do. Yes you must make action right now. Have a dream is very easy thing, but to change that, you need some proses.

If you want your dream come true, is depending from how you can focuses that dream into reality. Off course to change a dream you need high action or even you need sacrifice. You can start on focuses your dream with learning, reading much more book than someone else, or you can starting make networking with other potential people to developing your dream.

The dream is not so easily into reality . Much barrier or even threat will be handicapped you. You are work so hard, work so smart, and immolation but you still believe that you are not try to make your truly dream. And it's called FAILURE or abortive attempt.
