My debut issue will be in March, but I’ve been helping out on the Travel Issue as I try to get acclimated. It’s been so much fun. It doesn’t even feel like work. Which makes this whole thing so crazy. Here’s the three covers for our travel issue coming out soon! Get excited. Cause I am!

I’m enjoying my time between gigs right now. That being said, I am on the hunt for a new full time graphic design job if anyone out there is hiring….

Life has been good… My husband and I moved into a brand new condo, which I hope to share soon (for now, just check out my IG for updates). Fingers crossed, there will be a home tour post in the near future.

We’ve added to the family with a new pup, Kenny (or maybe I already mentioned this…).

If you live in a big city like I do, you might think you don’t have the space for adding stylish architecture, but you do! Staircases for small houses just take a bit more planning, but great design comes from problem solving, so go for it. Just take a look at this space above!

Besides the Scandinavian-style interior, I’m in love with that white spiral staircase. It so smoothly blends in with the rest of the space. The combination of a spiral design and a white metal finish almost makes it look like sculpture art in the corner. This home has a great mix of materials and considers details very well.

I just love how light and airy this staircase design is. The space is large enough to not have to worry about space saving, but open and empty space should always be a priority. It allows for a more relaxing existence.

Clutter is not just about hoarding ‘stuff’, it’s also an architectural hazard. You can fill a room with unnecessary elements if you’re not careful. For example, I only love a beautiful molding when there are high ceilings. Otherwise, keep all your corners clean and simple. Don’t create any unnecessary shadows with architectural elements if you don’t have to, no matter the size of your space.

Did you think because you have a small and rustic, cottage-style interior that you can’t have a dope, modern staircase design?… You thought wrong.

I would love to call this home in France my Summer home, but I cannot. My only concern is the bad luck that might come with resting your head under stairs every night. Am I insane? Who’s with me?

Besides nailing the architectural design, this bedroom has utilized color as a secondary ‘wow’ statement. I like the idea of adding a little color to such cool tones found throughout the interior architecture.

Sometimes I love a 1-story home, but after finding these inspiring images I’m no longer sure again… Good thing my husband and I are NOWHERE near ready for home buying just yet. Now, a condo… That actually is in our near future so stay tuned in 2018!

My current mood is a combination of complete confidence and total insecurity… sound familiar anyone? I shaved my head back in February and I love it. I love it on any girl I see with a shaved head and I truly believe anyone can pull it off. It’s not about having a pretty face or perfectly shaped head, it’s about wearing the confidence to be free and unlimited by something as insignificant as a hair style. I’m constantly feeling insecure about the fact that I have a shaved head… and tattoos… and a muscular gymnast body. I want people to know that I’m just a girl and love being feminine. I’m a tomboy, yes. I enjoy fighting the norms, yes. But I also like feeling pretty and going on a romantic dinner date with my husband. I’m always on the lookout for a girl with a shaved head, tomboy style, who’s straight and married to a man. The weird thing is, if I met that person, I would think she was so rad… BUT why do I have to meet her to think I’m rad? I am her. Who cares if I’m the only one…

LIVE LIFE. NO REGRET.

Update: Yup, I removed all the dumb shit I said about stereotypes.

That being said, I love it when two or three of them get thrown in the mix together… Like these kitchens! Books (graphic arts) and fine art take them to the next level. Not to say these kitchens wouldn’t be awesome with just a blender on the counter.

I’m back to say that if I wasn’t currently looking for work, I would buy everything in the Ivy Park collection by Beyoncé. EVERYTHING. I would begin by acquiring these items first.

Would it be too much to be fully clad in Ivy Park for the Formation Tour at Dodger Stadium in September…? (p.s. I’m soooooo excited!)

While I had the unpleasant calling of jury duty today, it allowed me the opportunity to spend the day downtown.

Grand Park LA is right behind the courthouse so that’s where I spent lunch…

Grand Park is a Los Angeles County park open to the public. It features cool seating, food trucks, a water fountain and an events calendar that includes yoga. The best part, in my opinion, is all the beautiful surrounding architecture.

Not just for decor of course, clothing racks are also a great way to add more space to the tiny closet systems many apartments come with. So, whether there’s a lack of space in the existing closets or there’s no closet at all (which I hear happens in NY a lot)… These open closets are ideal and actually look great.
