Yes, it's official. I am leaving the design world. But not forever... I will be back after I finish school, most likely in January.

The past 2 years has been quite a journey and I am going to miss it while I am gone, but most of all I am going to miss all of you! You know who you are... you are the ones that stuck by and kept coming back throughout 2 deaths in my family, and Hurricane Ike turning our lives upside down for several months in 2008. I haven't told you enough how much I appreciated all the comments and support you have given me. THANK YOU!!!

Next month I will be going back to school to finish off the degree I started on years ago. If all goes well I will be back on the saddle again in January! he he. I am going for Elementary School teaching and hope to start teaching once my little ones go to school. OH! Would you believe my 3 year old is going to pre school next month too? Eeeek! I am a nervous wreck. LOL I have been at home with her since the day she was born and she has never gone to day care so this will be quite a transition for her. She is super excited, although I don't think she really grasps the whole concept quite yet. At least with me going to school at the same time it will help me keep my mind from wondering what she is doing every second of the day. he he

Has it seriously been a month since I last posted on my poor blog? Wow! Time flies when you are having fun! I have some updates for you! First though I have to ask... did anyone watch the Ellen show yesterday? Did you see "Scrambles" the cat on her home videos segment? OMG that cat had me rolling. How cute! I just love that show! I love how she was asking Portia how was married life. She is such a goofball. he he

ABC Album and Live, Laugh Love bundled!

37 pages in total, all sized 12x12 and 300dpi for highest quality. This album was designed by Jscrapbug, one of my fabulous CT members with my "In the Neighborhood" kit. When she showed me the finished product I couldn't wait to play with it. Words simply cannot describe how awesome this book is! I had a book printed through Heritage Makers and if you would like to preview this album with photos see my sample book below. When the book came in I almost cried because it is SO perfect! It comes with a blank filler page which I used for the title page and the back page and it also includes the covers and spines in all four colors! How is that for customization!? In a matter of only two hours I was able to go from adding photos to ordering the book! If you are looking for a quick but awesome gift idea or if you have always wanted to do an ABC album but just didn't have the time... This is the book for you!

Well, the time has come to bundle Live, Laugh and Love into the super huge mega-kits they were intended. The just hit the store today and I am going to be releasing them for a very limited time. Hybrid Fun!

I hope everyone had a safe and fun filled Easter! We had a blast! The girls are finally getting old enough to learn about Easter and what it's really about. Ok, so Chloe is but Zoe had fun rolling on the ground as I read their Easter book LOL. For those that don't know, my girls are age 17 months and almost 3. Surprisingly enough, my little one actually collected more eggs than my 3 year old. LOL As soon as she figured out there was candy inside, she was on a mission to collect as many as she could! It was priceless! I linked it to my gallery if you'd like to leave me some luv. :)

I have to show you what I made for the girls... Jen Balding of Scraps by Jenn allowed me to use some of her scrap goodies and I couldn't wait to play! I used her "Weekender" kit, "That's so dated" date flair, and her "Mini backpack" hybrid template for this awesome hybrid project. I made one for my 2 girls and also my niece. They are all so close in age so they looked a-freakin-dorable all toddling around with the little backpacks on!

Oh and get this... I made layout of the day over at Divine Digital! Woot!

It felt good to get some scrapping and play time in, but it's back to work and time to start designing some new goodies! Hope you all had a super Easter holiday!

I had such a wonderful birthday! It started with my 2 year old daughter singing happy birthday to me when I woke up and I was hugging her and saying thank you when my husband walks in with breakfast in bed! This is my first time getting breakfast in bed, so I was so excited! :) Usually my husband is the type that doesn't do much, if anything, for birthdays, v-day, anniversaries, etc. He was being TOO nice. I had to ask what he did wrong LOL. I also got a tablet which I have wanted forever so expect to see some doodles and other fun stuff from me soon!
