A new record can be added into the SETTINGS table that will override the JDBC URL found in Help, About Primavera window.  See the examples below:

SQL Server:

INSERT into SETTINGS (namespace, setting_name, setting_value) values (‘Administrator_Settings’, ‘JdbcConnectionURL’, ‘jdbc:sqlserver://<server_name>:<port>;database=<db_name>;’);

<server_name> = SQL Server Machine Name
<port> = SQL Listening Port
<db_name> = Project Management Database Name

Oracle:

 The following sample code will list all Activity Codes that are assigned in a specific project.  In this example, it will list all Activity Codes assigned in project ‘APEX’:

1. Right click the Activity, and click details.

2) Create privuser/pubuser account

3) Restore the database and resync the privuser/pubuser account(s) :

4) If your restored database name is not pmdb$primavera, you may need to reconfigure your database alias to point to the new database name.

      Note:  The solution can also be used when configuring a database alias to Methodology Management.

A non-Admin Superuser with <Project Superuser> privileges to an EPS node but anything less than <Project Superuser> privileges to a project beneath it is unable to change the project’s responsible manager through the Integration API.
