The HP Deskjet 6980 is a "down home" printer with an attractive deep blue color. It prints documents, color, and photographs quite well and will satisfy the majority of home and office uses. The HP Deskjet 6980 comes with a sizable 150 sheet input tray, and the output tray will hold 50 sheets. It will print documents at 9.1 pages per minute and photographs at 1.4 per minute. In draft mode it "spits" out pages so fast that it becomes quite noisy. As an interesting "counter touch" the printer has a "Quiet mode" button that will slow the printer down to make it less noisy.
