The state officials said that the three siblings were on the run for more than a week and Wednesday the law enforcement officials found them at Colorado. The three brothers and sisters fired shots at the Colorado police while they were on a chase. The police shot Lee Grace Dougherty in her leg during the shootout in Southern Colorado. One of the brothers tried to run on foot and escape but he was also captured later at a nearby hotel in Colorado. Hours after the arrest, the public affairs office of Colorado State Patrol took to Twitter to state, “Short pursuit with 3 sibling fugitives from Florida ends in crash, three in custody”.

The authorities said that the three siblings, who were on run since August 2 at least fired 20 shots at the police officer who tried to pull them over. Their mother, Barbara Bell, over the past week, pleaded her children through the media to surrender. She said, “The only safe thing, the only right thing, the only good possible thing to do is for you to turn yourselves in”.

In his interview, Hugo Chavez said that he would begin the next phase of chemotherapy in new few days. He also added that he would get would be completely bald in some days and it is going to be anew look for him. The president also added that he would inform the citizens of the country about the second phase of chemotherapy and when he is going to take it. Though Hugo Chavez has not mentioned anything about the type of cancer and where it was located but he said that this treatment will take care of the fact that these malignant cells never appear in the body again. The President went under knife in June 20 to remove the cancerous tumor from his pelvic region.

Speaking about the treatment, President Hugo Chavez said that the maximum part of the treatment is located in Cuba as the detection of the cancer happens there. He also added that the specialized facilities, equipments and the highly accomplished medical team is based in Cuba. However, presently the doctors are “evaluating the possibility of doing another session” in Venezuela. The President added that in the second round of chemotherapy, he would receive four doses of drugs. Last month the President said that he is optimistic about his health and his future and he plans to run for a re-election in 2012. Though Hugo Chavez has already delegated his duty to the finance minister and vice president yet he announced that he hopes to remain in charge in the coming months.
