Team Day, October 11th.

About 35 of us met at Lyndhurst Park Hotel on Saturday 11th October, 2008. This was a teaching session on Dream Interpretation by Rachel Harris from Kettering. The day was lovely and the venue was very good for this kind of meeting.

Rachel brought three of her team with her and the interaction between them during the day kept the subject buzzing along and lively. Rachel gave a good grounding in the biblical background to dream interpretation, giving good quotes and bible references for further study. She also had with her a very good selection of resource materials in the “art” of dream interpretation and understanding the possible meanings of numbers, colours and symbols in our dreams. We had two short workshops which led to some lively and interesting discussions.

This was a very good opener to the subject and I am sure that those that were there are looking forward to further events in the Prism dream interpretation journey.

Kettering - Hope 2008 in the Market Place

At the beginning of August a group of us joined with Praise Community Church, Kettering to support their ‘Dreams Tent’. This was part of Kettering church’s joint outreach to the local community that was held in their Market Square. There was live music, a barbeque, hair braiding and fun activities for the children in addition to a prayer tent.
During the morning, Rachel Harris led us in some preparation then during the afternoon we had three teams of three in the dreams tent who spent the afternoon chatting to any who came in - two groups focused on helping people to interpret their dreams, whilst the third used stones painted with different images as a stimulus to prophesy God’s love and grace into people’s lives. A team of intercessors remained based in the church building, receiving regular text updates for prayer during the afternoon, and a friendly pro-active team of welcomers were out and about in the town handing out fliers and inviting people to come down to the Market Square.
Over 50 people came through the tent - a mixture of the curious, the hungry and some from other churches for whom this was a new experience. It was wonderful to see how the Holy Spirit ministered to people through the welcomers and the team in the tent.
We came home feeling encouraged and wanting to explore how we could use what we had learned in Kettering in our own cities.

Fire from the Isles (Jersey, 17th – 23rd August)

“Fire from the Isles” was a prophetic/intercession conference that took place in Jersey for one week starting on 17th August. It was the follow-up to a previous conference that took place in the Shetland Islands in 2005 called “Fire from the North”. It was such a privilege to be part of what God was doing, and so exciting especially for me as I’m from Jersey!
The worship was so refreshingly different, with up to 25 classically trained musicians sometimes moving down to where the people were and playing around the room, a wonderful sense of God’s presence. There was such a depth of experience and wisdom represented in the leadership with over half a dozen speakers who could easily be main speakers at conferences.
Mark and myself were the PRISM representatives, with Mark leading some seminars for the main conference and a couple of talks and a ‘pictures workshop’ for the conference that was running parallel for the youth. There were also opportunities to prophecy over individuals.
Overall the conference was fairly intense, with intercession going up for Russia, the Middle East, the nations of Africa and probably all the nations of Europe that I know of (and a few that I didn’t!) There was a word given that God was making a bow from Shetlands to Jersey and firing intercessory arrows into Europe and Russia. There was a strong sense that it wasn’t “Fire in the Isles” but that fire would be going FROM the isles to other nations.
Some of the highlights for me were seeing some of the youth and children really getting into prophecy, prophesying over each other and even jumping on me before I left and speaking 5 or 6 very apt words into my life; a powerful talk by Michael Ross-Watson on encouragement, forgiveness and compassion reminding us that it’s all about love; and a music seminar run by Francis Cummings and Richard Williamson in which God activated a part of my gift which I’d never used before.
Overall a great time and I’m sure much fruit is yet to be recognised from our prayers together.

Kettering - Feb 2008

Mark, Sue B, Marco and myself were invited to Kettering for the weekend to encourage and bless Praise Community Church. We arrived Friday evening (after a little traffic problem in Oxford!) and were received very warmly by Dan and Rachel. Following which we met up with the church leadership and their friends from Coventry to serve them with tape ministry. The rest of the weekend comprised of Mark teaching on foundations of the prophetic gift and releasing the fathers blessing, and speaking some truths over the fellowship. We had some times of call-out ministry, some impartation and a couple of workshops. We ended Sunday morning by prophesying over the leadership with some corporate words. There was a genuine hunger for God, and they showed a refreshing desire for reality without religion. They also had an amazing banner up on their wall which they kindly gave to us (it went perfectly with our “In His Presence” conference - thank you!). It was a real pleasure to stand with them in Kettering in all that God is doing among them. May He continue to use them powerfully.

Conference In His Presence 2008

We are pleased to announce that our third Southampton Prophetic Conference, In His Presence ,will take place on Friday the 29th February and all day Saturday 1st March 2008 and will be hosted by New Community Church at Central Hall, St. Mary Street, Southampton, SO14 1NF as in previous years.

Our vision has been inspired based on 2 Corinthians 3 .18 (The Message)
“Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.”

The continuing cry from the heart of God is that His people will come close and have an intimate relationship with him. It’s in the place of beholding that we are changed. As in previous years we will take a journey together into that place of presence where we can become more like Christ.

God seeks those who will worship Him in ‘Spirit and in truth.’ In this place of worship, real change occurs. This weekend is about exploring the different ways we enter His presence, and how, as we enjoy God, everything is transformed – our perspectives, our understanding, our view of God and our world.

Come expecting our time to be an opportunity to enter His ‘throne room’ and have an audience with the King!

Flower of Justice - Southampton

Last Sunday Wilma and I were invited by Bob & Colette to sow a prophetic seed to bring encouragement, inspiration and impartation. During worship we really sensed Gods presence amongst us and an enormous hunger for Him. We enjoyed and felt blessed by the testimonies about what God is doing on the Flower Estate and shared with them our message. People responded really well on the prophetic ministry and prayer afterwards and it was great to see Father touching personal lives!
