The origin story of the Intelligenz NFT collection begins with a visionary artist named Obsessive Mimicry. Mr. Mimicry has always been fascinated by the idea of exploring the connection between the physical and spiritual realms and had spent years studying various spiritual practices and esoteric teachings from Zen to Hermetic philosophy.

One day, while meditating in his studio, Mr. Mimicry had a powerful vision of a group of beings that existed in a state of pure energy. These beings could take on human-like forms and interact with the physical world but were not bound by the physical body's limitations. Mr. Mimicry was captivated by this vision and knew that he had to find a way to express it in his art.

Over the next year, Obsessive Mimicry worked tirelessly to create a series of artworks that captured the essence of his vision. He experimented with different techniques and materials, trying to find the perfect way to convey the idea of energy transmuting into physical form.

Finally, after many long nights of work, Obsessive Mimicry completed the Intelligenz NFT collection. Since then, some collections have sold for hundreds of millions of dollars. While the number of NFT purchases has been growing by millions, many experts believe there is still huge growth potential.

Finding Hidden Gems

One of the easiest ways to break into the NFT sector is by hunting down an undervalued NFT collection that has the potential to grow exponentially. An undervalued NFT collection is one, which shows growth potential. One way to check for this is by identifying the artist behind the collection.

With so much growth potential, the present time is the best time to find hidden gems in the crypto sector. One such example is NFTs created by artist Allan Linder. Initially, his NFT artwork was sold for 0.03ETH, which was around $85 at the time. The art was sold to a collector based in Canada who relisted it and managed to sell it for $2.8 million.

His unique art style entails combining real-world artwork with digital creations that fuse the texture from painting with motion animation, and digital overlays. The work has been described as “Living Paintings” in some circles.

PRISONER OF THE MIND is a neo-noir thriller 16 years in the making. The story is set in the near future of New York, the unforgiving city. On the outside, the city looks a little different. Buildings are taller, the sky is a little darker, technology is more advanced and machines have replaced some human workers. Nevertheless, people are the same inside, hungry, greedy, and deceitful.

Prisoner of the Mind graphic novel has over 300 pages in Volume 1 and is also sold as a serialized comic in 5 issues. It is written and illustrated by Linder over a sixteen-year period.

Below are a series of one-of-a-kind NFT art that was created using original handmade drawings from the graphic novel, inked, and animated. Some of this artwork was created for the graphic novel animated trailer. The unlockable content is a digital copy of the first issue of Prisoner of the Mind.

Quantum Enigma is a much larger creative project than what you see here. It is the culmination of nine years of work. Check out the award winning teaser trailer above that was created for this project.

A graphic novel will be published next year featuring a complete story and animation.

The scope of work on this project is enormous, which features working props, robotics, costumes and hundreds of drawings and digital artworks and a short film.

Storyboards: Here we will continue to bring storyboard thumbnails sketches and changes for the live action trailer.

Concept Art: A lot of interesting art leading up to the finished ideas. Multiple changes are made frequently to work out problems and detail of the props and effects that we are trying to create. We will continue to drop new art here all the time.

Props, Animatronics and Practical Effects: This is the good stuff that takes so long to make. After we sketch it all down, it is s trial and error process using various materials to create a practical effect and prop. We'll try to update this area as much as possible.

Behind the Scenes: This is some behind the scenes shots from production of the trailer and more.

Film Festivals: During this process we are submitting our teaser and soon to be trailer to various film festivals which are responding very well to our work.

NONAGON The world's first Crypto Noir NFT art series and story

NONAGON

Nine sides of life, nine sides of our past, present, and future meet in the world’s first Crypto Noir art series and story ever.

Linder’s latest artwork is digital meets handmade. Starting with hand-painted paper, he draws in pen and ink, and white charcoal. Each piece is scanned at a stunning 8k resolution and then 30 to 50 digital layers are added. The digital layers are printed on transparency and re-applied to the handmade drawing.

It is a one-of-a-kind series inspired by film noir and pulp fiction novels that explores the mystery of number 9, with 27 mixed media artworks that tell the first Crypto-Noir story ever. Nonagon will be released as 9 pages of artwork in three separate NFT drops.

It was a hot spring night in New York with a little rain in the air. Nona was enjoying a great time at her friend Stacey’s party with plenty of drinks, and lots of old friends. The only downside was that her loser boyfriend wouldn’t take no for an answer.

She pleaded with him earlier to stay home and let her enjoy her friend’s birthday. But it didn’t help, Derek showed up anyway. What made things worse is that after a few shots, he started hitting on her friends too. Nona had enough, after she saw his touchy-feely hands on her friends, she left the party.

Nona waited for an Uber but it was late so she called her friend Meagan to meet for a drink while she waited. She noticed a strange man in a hat following her, but she couldn’t get a good look at him after he slipped into an alley. The whole thing creeped her out so she grabbed the first taxi she could find and headed for the bar to meet her friend.

It was Saturday night and there were more people than usual out on the streets of the city. New York felt alive again, even though so many places she used to go were boarded up and gone. A light rain started and she realized that she didn’t have an umbrella or a coat with her. She would just have to wing it.

She thought how weird it was to see so many people without masks now that the mandate was finally lifted. Things almost felt normal again to her, until her boyfriend kept texting her which interrupted the moment. She was going to ignore him anyway and just hang with friends that she has missed over the past year.

Nona tipped the cabbie and got out of the car only to catch a glimpse of the same stranger with a hat that followed her out of Stacey’s party. She tried to keep her eyes on him to see where he went, but he slipped into the shadows again.

Now that is strange, how could he know where she was going? How could he have gotten there before her she thought? Maybe she just had too much to drink at the party she continued.

After stepping out of the car, she noticed coins lying on the ground in front of her and something else that sparkled.

Quickly, she turned around to see if anyone near her dropped their wallet or purse or something, but no one was there. Someone definitely lost their ring and a pocket full of change right where her cab stopped to let her out.

Maybe it’s the place all cabs stop in this area and the one before her lost it? Either way, she couldn’t just leave it there. Maybe she could find an inscription on it or something to return it to its rightful owner she thought.

Wearing her tight-fitting little black dress and heels, Nona couldn’t exactly kneel down to pick it up, so she tried to reach down without looking awkward. It was an odd-shaped ring, one with many different sides.

As she got closer to it, the ring began to give off a kind of bluish glow as if it was reacting to her, that seemed very unusual she thought, but she continued to question herself, rationalizing it as maybe just reflections off of the wet street from the rain.

When she picked it up, the ring slipped onto her finger and it lit up instantly. It felt extraordinarily light for a ring this size she mused. Numbers started appearing around it like some kind of a projection.

Now, she thought it was some type of a gag or she was being filmed for a typical New York City street promotion.

You may have seen these advertisements in the back of my book. Maybe not, I have updated my personal website with some new info on Prisoner of the Mind.

What started out as an idea for future technologies, turned into mock-up advertisements for the book Prisoner of the Mind. The artwork is digitally created in black and white. Imagine picking up your favorite magazine and flipping over one of these ads.

Terralift is the idea of a space elevator. This time it is right in a space hotel. This makes perfect sense because it has been discussed that what will push humanity further into space technologies is space tourism.

Human trials for a first-of-a-kind device designed to treat the brain via electrical stimulation have brought some very promising results. Called Stentrode, the implant has the potential to treat a wide range of neurological conditions, but in these very first trials, has brought about significant quality-of-life improvements for a pair of Australian men suffering from motor neurone disease (MND).

The Stentrode device is the size of a matchstick, and enters the brain via a small keyhole incision in the neck.

The robot, which mostly consists of a static torso supporting a highly animated and articulated head, was developed by engineers at Disney’s Research division, Walt Disney Imagineering, and robotics researchers from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and the California Institute of Technology.

Below is a video of the robot-human interaction and it's enough to send a few shivers up your spine. Here's their statement describing the video.

This video describes the development of a system for lifelike gaze in human-robot interactions using a humanoid animatronic bust. We present a general architecture that seeks not only to create gaze interactions from a technological standpoint but also through the lens of character animation where the fidelity and believability of motion is paramount; that is, we seek to create an interaction that demonstrates the illusion of life.

The latest generation of flying cars developed by KleinVision company transforms from road vehicles into air vehicles in less than 3 minutes. Useful for leisure and self-driving journeys, and also as a commercial taxi service.

We're making baby steps here. I have to say that I don't really imagine too many of these things just driving around on the streets but hey check out the video below, because it sure looks cool.

Made of a pair of two-wheeled vehicles, NASA's DuAxel is designed to descend crater sides and near-vertical cliffs on the Moon, Mars, and beyond.

A rover trundles over rocky terrain, its four metal wheels clattering along until they encounter a seemingly insurmountable hazard: a steep slope. Down below is a potential trove of science targets. With a typical rover, the operators would need to find another target, but this is DuAxel, a robot built for situations exactly like this.

EHang Launches Intelligent Aerial Firefighting Solution

If you happen to be in China during a high-rise fire, you might see an aerial assist to the fire fighters on the ground. The latest variant of the EHang 216 is able to carry up to 150 liters of foam and six extinguisher bombs per trip to high-rise fires within a 5 km radius of the station where they're based.

Once this goes into practical use, it really shows how far technology has come over the past few years for Drones and eVTOLS. We have been obsessed with flying cars for some time, but these would be flown autonomously. Check out the video below to see it in action.

The 6 Million Dollar Man's Bionic Eye is becoming a reality

The human eye is an incredibly complex piece of equipment, so it’s no wonder that we’ve had a hard time reverse engineering it. Now, researchers have unveiled the world’s first 3D artificial eye, which can not only outperform other devices but has the potential to see better than the real thing.

A team led by scientists at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) has developed what they call the Electrochemical Eye (EC-Eye). The new 3D bionic eye could enable superhuman sight, night vision and more. Check out the video below of the eye taking a vision test.

Jumping back in with new Embraer Pulse EVTOL concept design

It's been a long rough road, a global pandemic, world unrest, protests and riots, and a launch of manned mission back to space for the first time since 2011. It seems like every day we inch a little closer to that global dystopia and cyberpunk world of tech.

So, to kick off your June, here's some interesting concept work by Brazilian Aerospace conglomerate Embraer celebrating 50 years.

The Pulse Concept system transfers its futuristic, transparent pod from the aircraft to the autonomous vehicle, so passengers never leave the safety of the pod.

They initially launched a prototype in 2018 of urban mobility vehicle with Uber to bring air taxis to select cities in 2023. Check out the video below for an eye opening look at our future.

“The fuselage is particularly interesting,” emphasized Jay Beever, vice president of interior design for Embraer Executive Jets. “The pod structure is made of transparent aluminum, otherwise known as Alon. Though this material is classified and currently being considered for use by NASA and other governmental anti-ballistic projects, I think it would make a fantastic fuselage material.”

Bizarre little Bi-pedal drone robot takes first steps

We've covered a lot of various robots here that range from practical to WTF? This one is a head scratcher. Caltech’s LEONARDO (LEgs ONboARD drOne) is a bipedal robot that uses synchronized control of drone-like propellers and legged joints.

This robot is under development at the Center for Autonomous Systems and Technologies (CAST).

SkyDrive a flying car project has received funding for prototype

If you are obsessed with flying cars like we are, this is interesting news. Leading flying car developer SkyDrive, established by the members of CARTIVATOR, a group of aircraft, drones, and automotive engineers, has secured 14 Million USD through Third-party share issuance funding and subsidies. A total of 18.5 Million USD has now been raised and manned test flights will begin this year. Apparently Toyota is involved with this too. Check out the videos below.

Exoskeleton Controlled by a Brain-Machine Interface

Brain implants allow a tetraplegic patient to control a whole-body exoskeleton with brain signals in a proof-of-concept demonstration published in The Lancet Neurology. The patient uses two wireless chronically implanted brain-computer interfaces to control virtual and physical machines.

While the early results are promising, the system is a long way from clinical application or being widely available. Check out the video below.

Atlas robot shows off unreal gymnastic routine

Boston Dynamics is at it again, this time they're showing off more moves that their Atlas robot can do than most humans today. We live in interesting times, just imagine what this robot will be able to do in 10 years. We've covered plenty about robots but this is truly outstanding.

Here is what they have to say about it:

Atlas uses its whole body -- legs, arms, torso -- to perform a sequence of dynamic maneuvers that form a gymnastic routine. We created the maneuvers using new techniques that streamline the development process. First, an optimization algorithm transforms high-level descriptions of each maneuver into dynamically-feasible reference motions. Then Atlas tracks the motions using a model predictive controller that smoothly blends from one maneuver to the next. Using this approach, we developed the routine significantly faster than previous Atlas routines, with a performance success rate of about 80%. There's nothing like praying with our new robotic overlords

If you follow this site then you know that we usually post progress on the artwork and story for Linder's comic books and graphic novel, current and future technologies, and related things that reflect similarities to the neo-noir futuristic graphic novel Prisoner of the Mind.

This includes everything from A. I., robotics, genetics, brain-machine interface, drones, flying cars, spy-tech and more as seen in the graphic novel. But sometimes reality mimics art a little too much.

This is what they have to say about it.

This creation is Mindar, a Buddist robot. The robot was unveiled at Kodaiji Temple in Kyoto to share Buddha's teachings in plain terms. Mindar is modeled after buddhist goddess of mercy, Kannon. The deity transforms itself into different forms to help people and “This time, Kannon changed into an android”.

The wise robot would “help people who usually have little connection with Buddhism to take an interest” in the religion.

Mindar the robot was created by the temple and MR. Hiroshi Ishiguro, a professor of intelligent robotics at Osaka University, It was built by Tokyo-based A-Lab Co.
