This is a ridiculous rendition of the speech by 1980 US Hockey Team’s Coach Herb Brooks. This kid is 4 years old. I don’t think I could have done any better at age 10. Maybe at age 11, but definitely not at 10. Enjoy!!!

Springboro Panthers are 5-0

Friday Night lights and another hard fought win by the Panthers. This time the Panthers had to come back from behind in the second half and then rely on their stellar defense to hold off Sidney. The final score was 31-28. Coming up this week is the Homecoming game against the arch rival Lebanon HS. This looks to be Springboro’s toughest challenge yet. The good news is that the Panthers will be returning two defensive starters on Friday, #31 Kyle King and #87 Austin Plenzler. Both have been out with injuries for the last 2 and 3 weeks, respectively. As usual, some choice pics are below. Click on any image to be taken to the Springboro Gallery.

Springboro Panthers are 4-0

The Panters Varsity Football team improved to 4-0 after defeating Butler High School on Friday night at Careflight Field. The final score was 27-6. It was great to once again experience a game taht “wasn’t in doubt” until the final minutes. The Panthers travel to Sydney looking to extend their perfect season. Springboro Panthers defeat Piqua Indians 41-6 to go 3-0

Springboro Panthers are still undefeated on the young season after defeating the Piqua Indians 41-6. The game was never in doubt as have the previous two contests. I had some great pics shooting with my 400 2.8 Lens. Check them out below and also the 2009 Football Gallery.

Springboro Panthers defeat Sycamore 17-10

Panthers defeated Sycamore Aviators in the latest round of Friday Night Lights action at Sycamore Jr. High School. The Panthers scored in the last minute of the 4th quarter and then added a two point conversion to make the final 17-10. The Panthers are now 2-0 on the young season. Springboro defeats Fairfield in OT

Springboro Panthers defeated the Fairfield Indians on Friday August 28, 2009 by the score of 13-10. It was Springboro’s home opener at the newly reconstructed Careflight Field. The game was postponed 45 minutes due to thunder, but once the game began, the rain tapered off and a see-saw game started. Here are some pics from the game.

I photographed Austin Plenzler #87 for Springboro Panthers Football team. We started off in my palatial studios and then ventured off to a local scenic area. I am going to finish Austin’s shoot at the Careflight Field in a couple of weeks and make it super cool. For now enjoy these pics. Also, thanks to Blake McCoy for letting us borrow the football.
