The 2013 Dodge Dart has been on the market for a year now, and in that time sales have been a little lackluster. However, all that could be about to charge, if a certain Hollywood movie has anything to do with it. There are several Dodge models appearing in the new Fast and Furious 6 movie, and this should manifest as some positive marketing for Chrysler.

April has been a pretty good month in terms of 2013 Dodge Dart sales, but maybe this was because the countless trailers for The Fast and Furious 6 movie, and if this was the case, then the movie would have already had a positive effect on Dodge sales, and things should only get better. However, it’s not known if this is the case, and if it is, will it be short lived?

Autonews says that while this free marketing will no doubt help 2013 Dodge Dart sales; they are under no illusion that the car had several issues. One issue was because there was only a choice of manual transmission, and we all know how drivers like a choice of either manual or automatic transmission; thankfully this issue was resolved.

How to have a positive effect without being in the movie? Okay, so those who have already watched the fast paced action packed movie will know that the 2013 Dodge Dart does not actually appear in the movie, but its siblings the Dodge Charger SRT8 and Challenger SRT8 do. However, Dodge has been very clever and has not missed out on the opportunity to create several incentives of their Dodge lineup in the movie. Even simply raising awareness of the Dodge Dart in The Fast and Furious 6 will be a great benefit, as we know that the car is a perfect model for young lads who are first time drivers.

What would have been seen as positive marketing would have been to see the Dart SRT and GT appear in the movie, even though the performance versions are not on the market yet – now that would have been forward thinking.

When BlackBerry 10 was first launched there were some faithful BB OS users unimpressed, as they believed the new features were not as good as they had hoped. However, the Canadian firm has tried to ease people’s misgivings by introducing BB 10.1, and the changes were an improvement, although things were still not perfect.

It’s for this reason why it will come as no surprise that BlackBerry 10.2 is in the works, and Michael Clewley, the BlackBerry Product Manager has been sharing some details in regards to the updated mobile operating system.

BlackBerry 10.2 update features – There are several changes coming, such as the ability of setting a time to remember an item, multiple alarm settings, Standard Unicode Emojis is to now be supported, and finally there is to be Level 1 Notifications.

This will first be released as a BlackBerry 10.2 Beta SDK, and will have a June release, although no precise date has been given at this time. However, we’re told that we can expect the final BlackBerry 10.2 release by the end of 2013. However, as the 10.1 SDK was made available just a couple of months prior to its final release, we could expect to see BlackBerry 10.2 as early as August, although this is only a guess.

We expect more information before the beta version is released, and maybe BlackBerry will bring even more features, as well as some much-needed bug fixes, one of which is issues with reboots.

While BlackBerry is doing a far better job of keeping us more informed in terms of these new feature updates, it would nice if they were to officially announce the existence of the BlackBerry R10.

Sony may have already unveiled some upcoming PS4 game exclusives such as Drive Club, Killzone Shadow Fall and inFamous Second Son that are all on the way, but we now have the first hints on another possible big game coming. Fans of Super Stardust HD will be delighted to hear that there are plans for a PS4 spiritual successor to this game, one which will apparently feature ‘incredible visuals’.

Super Stardust HD is considered to be one of the best PSN games on the PS3 console, with the game being thrusted back into the limelight recently with an excellent version for the PS Vita. Now however, it appears that there are bigger plans emerging for Super Stardust, according to Finnish developers Housemarque.

The team has announced on their website that they are currently working on a spiritual successor to Super Stardust and that it will release as a PlayStation 4 exclusive. There isn’t a full title for the game yet, but this information may come directly at Sony’s E3 press conference on June 10.

When discussing the game for the first time, Housemarque CEO Ilari Kuittinen has revealed that they will now be able to “take advantage of the architecture of PlayStation 4 to create incredible visuals with direct impact on the way the new game feels.” Stardust on the PS3 is considered to be a pretty crazy game in terms of non-stop action, so just imagine the experience and graphics you’ll get when converting this to PS4 hardware.

Don’t forget that we should be seeing this spiritual successor in 1080p resolution as well at all times. We loved the music as well with the game during the levels, so hopefully this will include another fantastic soundtrack as well with the next game.

If FIFA 14 is on your must-have games list in 2013, then we have some important information for you to digest. EA has just confirmed a solid FIFA 14 release date in the UK, as well as revealing that there will be as many as three special editions of the game, aside from the normal version.

Each of these versions will come with free Gold Packs, for players to use when entering the FIFA 14 Ultimate Team mode. For those buying from the UK, EA has announced that GAME and Amazon will be offering different versions of the game which give the player various incentives depending on where they order.

For example, GAME will give consumers access to the FIFA 14 Collector’s Edition, which will include 24 FUT gold packs, EAS FC bundle items, an Adidas bundle including an all-star team, 3 new celebrations, historic club kits, pro boosters and the grand offering – a limited edition Adidas EA Sports Glider football.

The price for the Collector’s Edition will be £84.99, but you can put down a £20 deposit right now at GAME if you are interested in reserving one for either Xbox 360 or PS3. Alternatively, you can pick up the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 14 at Amazon for £60, with all of the above except the football and GAME exclusive Steel book.

Without further do, you’ll want to know that FIFA 14 launches in the UK on September 27 on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 – three days before in the US as usual. As announced recently, there will also be next-gen versions on the Sony PS4 and Xbox One, although EA hasn’t revealed release information on next-gen versions just yet.

How does the £85 Collector’s Edition of FIFA 14 sound to you – worth the extra cash or not? The standard version of the game will only be coming with 4 FUT gold packs.

We are just a few weeks away from the start of E3 2013 and we can’t wait to see what new games are announced on stage. Mirror’s Edge 2 has been a long request from fans who loved the first game and this week, we’ve heard rumors that it could be one of the games planned during EA’s press conference.

It’s no secret that Mirror’s Edge is still considered to be one of the best multi-platform games to release on current-generation hardware. Developers DICE have always maintained that they don’t want to be known as just the Battlefield developers, so a sequel is bound to happen sooner or later due to its massive following.

We’ve now learned that a 2013 release for the game may not be so farfetched any more. The German portion of Amazon had initially leaked a listing for Mirror’s Edge 2 – but on the Xbox 360 platform only. This listing has since been removed, but not until the guys over at AllGamesBeta managed to grab this screenshot showing the evidence.

Considering that the listing has been removed from Amazon completely, we would assume that this could be an intended announcement for E3 2013. Along with Xbox 360 though, we would also expect the game to come to Microsoft’s Xbox One console as well. One potential fear though is whether Mirror’s Edge 2 will end up as an Xbox exclusive or not.

Microsoft has already signed an exclusive agreement with EA Sports, so imagine if they have managed to persuade EA to take Mirror’s Edge 2 away from multi-platform as well? Or if not, release it as a multiplatform game but with substantial content to the Xbox One and Xbox 360.

We have some substantial GTA V news to bring you now, as Rockstar has finally confirmed the special editions of the game that will be available on September 17. Previously, we discovered a blimp in one of Rockstar’s many screenshot teases and now the developer has confirmed our previous speculation – that blimp will be playable in GTA V.

Even better is that Rockstar is giving GTA V players access to the blimp, simply by pre-ordering the game now until September 17. For those curious, the Atomic blimp first unveiled here will also be available to those that have already have the game on order, so there’s no need to worry in that aspect.

It also looks like the previous leak on a GTA V special edition was correct after all. Rockstar has now confirmed a special edition of GTA V which will be priced at $79.99 and also a more luxurious GTA V Collector’s Edition that will be priced at a whopping $150.

For that premium price though, Rockstar will be handing out some of their traditional ‘practical’ items as seen with previous collection. We had a duffel bag with GTA IV, but now you’ll be able to get your hands on a New Era 9Fifty branded Rockstar cap, which features Los Santos text on the front and Rockstar and GTAV logos on the sides.

On top of that, the other notable item is a Grand Theft Auto V Security Deposit safe bag, which comes with a custom built laser cut logo key. Digging deeper into the Collector’s Edition, we’ve also spotted that this version will contain custom characters that will be available in the GTA V multiplayer mode – one of which Rockstar has already confirmed to be Nico Bellic from GTA IV!

That alone may be a good incentive to pick up the premium version, while there’s a lot more goodies included too. Head to Rockstar’s website for the full details and pictures. We have some important news for those of you planning to pick up Final Fantasy XIV when it launches on PS3 and PC. Square-Enix has finally revealed solid information on the PS3 version of the game, including a release date and more importantly – the price per month that you’ll pay to enter Square-Enix’ servers.

As most of you are well aware, the game originally launched on PC back in 2010, but to universal criticism which forced Square-Enix to cancel their plans and announce a complete revamp. That revamp has almost arrived now though, with the Japanese developer and publisher announcing that Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will be available to buy on August 27 – both PS3 and PC platforms included.

The game will be an always-on MMO remember though, so those picking up the PS3 version specifically will need to know that there are costs involved. Square-Enix has now released this information as well, confirming that a 30 day subscription to the game will cost £7.69 in the UK and $14.99 in the US. If you fancy digging into your wallets further, there is also an option to subscribe to a longer 180 day package – priced at $12.99 per month instead.

With these costs in place, it now means that Square-Enix cannot afford to have a bad launch or suffer a repeat of the same problems that plagued the original PC version. PS3 gamers especially may not be accustomed to paying a monthly fee for a game, so it will be interesting to see the initial reaction once the game launches this Summer.

We have some fantastic news to bring Pokemon X and Y fans now, as just as we had hoped, Nintendo has now confirmed that they will be having a Pokemon X and Y news blowout at E3 2013 next month. A 90 minute Pokemon X and Y ’round table’ has just been announced, allowing Game Freak to finally reveal solid and detailed information on the game to everyone.

A 90 minute presentation sounds to us like they have a lot to show for the game as well, and will surely make up for all of the slow information emerging for the game so far. Nintendo won’t be having a main E3 press conference this year unlike Sony and Microsoft remember, but the company has followed through with their word by having multiple smaller events.

This Pokemon X and Y event is a perfect example of this now, with Nintendo confirming it will take place on June 11, at 6pm Pacific Time, 2am for those in the UK and the following morning for those planning to tune in from Japan and other parts of Asia. Tsunekaz Ishihara, CEO of The Pokemon Company, as well as Junichi Masuda from Game Freak will be hosting the event, so it really is something that cannot be missed if you are planning to pick up the game in October.

It’s also great to see key figures for the game make their way over from Japan for the event, making all of the reveals that much more special. With a whopping 90 minutes event time, expect to see more new Pokemon creatures announced for Pokemon X and Y, more details on the Kalos region and hopefully – an official Pokemon X and Y release date as well.

We can also expect to find out some of missing information on Pokemon types for some of the creatures already announced, and even perhaps details on the mysterious new formes of Mewtwo that are coming to the game. We’re not 100% sure if there will be a live stream for this event, but we’ll let you know once Nintendo has confirmed this or not.

We already know that Call of Duty Ghosts has been confirmed as the next game in the popular franchise, and we also know when the COD Ghosts release date will be, but for those who are counting down the days until the big event, then we may have something of interest for you.

The Doodle 4 Google 2013 contest was the same as every other year, as Google allowed students from kindergarten to 12 to enter the competition. However, each year the theme is different, with this year being about “My Best Day Ever.” We have to say that this subject was always going to stir up emotions.

The Winning Doodle – This was a poignant Doodle 4 Google winner, as the entry was from a 10-year-old girl named Sabrina Brady, with her Doodle being of her father being greeted by her after he came back from his 18-month tour in Iraq. Knowing people in the forces, I can sympathies with what the young girl went through, and how emotional it was when her father returned home.
