Riverside Confirm Vinyl Releases

Riverside have confirmed that vinyl versions of Second Life Syndrome and Rapid Eye Movement, will “come out at the turn of August and September 2011″. According to their website, “both albums will be limited to 1000 copies in three colour versions (on black, white and transparent records).”

Steven Wilson Launches “Grace for Drowning” Website

Blackfield’s Steven Wilson has setup a website for his upcoming release Grace for Drowning. Scheduled for an Autumn 2011 release, Grace For Drowning will be Wilson’s second album released under his name. Visit the official website for audio samples and additional information.

Styx/Yes Georgia Concert Reviewed

The Patch.com’s Liz Kennedy has reviewed the recent Styx/Yes show in Alpharetta, Georgia, USA.

I was not disappointed with Yes’ performance as I was happy to hear many of my favorites, including “Yours Is No Disgrace,” “I’ve Seen All Good People” and their 1983 number one song, “Owner of a Lonely Heart” from the album 90125.

New Rhapsody of Fire Album

Today is the release date of Rhapsody of Fire’s newest work “From Chaos To Eternity“.

This album has two hearts: in the first 8 titles we let the guitars blast stronger again, putting emphasis rather on basic heavy metal… but with the last song we defined once again the cinematic impact of our music for the grand finale of Rhapsody’s tale”, Alex Staropoli states concerning this year’s variant of their ”Film Score Metal” and the alignment of the new opus, which into the bargain finalizes the fantasy saga of the emerald sword that has been continued from the debut on for more than 15 years.
