Information posted are pictures of a nuclear power plant, how the plant works and information on “Three Mile Island” and Fukushima. We have heard much discussion on how the accident at Three Mile has affected the nuclear industry. New information on the most recent accident at Fukushima where the the giant tsunami hit in Japan will affect public view on nuclear energy as well. Please look over the posts below. This link explains some of the information we went over at Lockport on the Citgo plant. There was a lot of discussion on NOx and SOx that form acid rain and particulate matter. The links on the site will give you additional information as well as information on other air pollutants regulated by the Clean Air Act.
