The perception in the Middle East and the Arab World is that the United States of America, supposed leader of the free world and international superstar, is becoming weaker according to Avi Gil who is a senior fellow at the Jewish People Policy Planning Institute, who also said that America no longer leads as it once did but now follows or leads from behind. The United States has called for Israel to withdraw from land that is Biblically, historically, and strategically essential for the very existence of the Jewish state among the Arab-Islamic nations in the Middle East which would put the Jewish state in harm's way.

With America's superpower status in decline and the rising power of the radical Arab Islamic world, we can now see better the end of times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

The America that we knew 10 to 15 years ago is no longer at the peak of the pedestal as a world superpower and even the Arab Moslem world recognizes this as the case for America politically and economically. Much of the way that Israel is perceived is directly dependent upon its relationship with America. This report begs the question, where is the United States in Bible prophecy? Is it a superpower in the last days or not there at all?

The United States is not mentioned by name anywhere in Bible prophecy but it seems to refer to the United States and in fact all nations in Zechariah 14:2 when the ancient Jewish prophet wrote that at the end of the seven year Tribulation period, all nations will gather in Jerusalem. But before that, the superpower will be the Antichrist, the world dictator who will control a one world economic, political, and governmental system from Babylon in modern-day Iraq. This is foretold in Revelation 18. Under the leadership of Satan, Antichrist, and the False Prophet, this massive body of people will confront Jesus Christ as He returns to the Mount of Olives and then after the Battle of Armageddon, goes into the Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to set up His kingdom (Zechariah 6:12-13).

Perception has become fact as America continues to decline in leadership and character in our world today. The prophecies of God's Word will indeed be fulfilled.

US soldiers are involved in the fight against the Lord's Resistance Army

US troops have been deployed in four central African nations to help the fight against a brutal rebel group called the Lord's Resistance Army and will act as advisers in the fight against Joseph Kony, a bush fighter and leader of the LRA who is wanted for crimes against humanity. The Lord's Resistance Army has been involved in mobilizing combatants and militant leaders who have carried out horrible atrocities and the LRA's tactics have been widely condemned as vicious.

US Special Ops forces are helping to fight the LRA and to stop their slaughter of thousands of civilians and the kidnapping of children to be child soldiers.

With the deployment of US Special Ops forces into Africa to shut down the Lord's Resistance Army, the world has become aware of how religion is being used today to set the stage for the end times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

News reports have been coming out of Africa for years about what is referred to as children armies, recruiting young children to become fierce fighters and even killers of hundreds of thousands of Africans. The driving force behind these acts of crimes against humanity is the Lord's Resistance Army that is responsible for the slaughter of thousands of African people and the recruitment of these young children to be warriors. US Special Ops forces have been deployed to assist in helping to bring down Joseph Kony, the leader of the LRA, and bring about an end to these atrocities. This report does bring to our attention the part that religion, not Christianity, but religion is playing today on our world scene and the key role it will play in the future.

Revelation 17 is a prophecy of a one world religion that will be on the scene in the first half of the seven year Tribulation period. This will be a false religion that is headquartered in Rome, Italy and is led by the Antichrist. When this false church is destroyed at the midway point of the Tribulation, Revelation 17:16, the Antichrist will go to Jerusalem, walk into the Temple, and claim to be God (II Thessalonians 2:4) and at this time, he will cause the world to worship him (Revelation 13:13-15). Religion will indeed play a key role in the last days.

The Moslem Brotherhood tells their followers to prepare for war against Israel so they can kill Jews

Leaders and clerics in the Moslem Brotherhood are calling for their followers to prepare for war against Israel and one leading brotherhood cleric has called for killing Jews to the very last one. This is the brotherhood that has played a major role in the chaos in the Arab capitals of the Middle East.

As the Moslem Brotherhood rises to power in the Middle East, Israeli leaders see this as consolidating the power of Hamas and its hold on Gaza, a real concern to the Jewish state because the Hamas charter states unequivocally that it wants to eradicate Israel.

With the rise of the Moslem Brotherhood and the so-called revolution in the Arab world, the endtime scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy comes much better into focus.

One of the major players in the chaos spreading throughout the Arab world is the Moslem Brotherhood, an Islamist terror group that has spawned such terror organizations as Hamas and al Qaeda. The ideology of the brotherhood was made clear by one of its leading preachers based in Qatar who in one of his sermons called for Israel and the Jews to be dealt with by Allah, the Islamic god, who should kill the Jews down to the very last one. This same Moslem Brotherhood preacher in a sermon aired on Al Jazeera claimed that Adolf Hitler was sent by Allah to punish the Jewish people. The brotherhood also supports Hamas, the Islamic Jihad, and Hezbollah, all Islamic terror groups who want to eradicate this world of the Jews.

The scenario being played out now in the Arab world was foretold by the ancient Jewish prophets, a message for the last days. Daniel and Ezekiel both revealed that the Arab world would come to power and move to kill the Jews, Daniel 11 and Ezekiel 38. The prophet Joel said this would happen when every Moslem would be ready to form the largest militia ever formed on the earth, Joel 2. Even the Psalmist prophet, Psalm 83 called for the Jews to be destroyed and their name be forgotten forever, Psalm 83:4.

The rise to power of the Moslem Brotherhood and their impact on Middle East events is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Middle East archaeologists are hoping to save the ruins of the Biblical tower of Babel

Following the years of devastation under the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein and the ensuing American invasion of Iraq archaeologists are beginning to work on ancient Babylonian sites and hope to save the ruins of the biblical Tower of Babylon and learn how it was built before it crumbled under the weight of confusion.

As a first step, experts are working on a plan to prevent further deterioration of the mud-bricked ruins which were damaged by Saddam's personal building projects.

The meticulous work by archaeologists to preserve the mud-bricked Tower of Babel in Iraq is evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

For several decades, the late Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein worked to restore the site of biblical Babylon which included the mud-bricked building of the Tower of Babel. Since the war torn nation of Iraq is working to restore its country to the glory days of this Middle Eastern state in many areas, they have arranged for archaeologists to work to save the ruins of the ancient biblical site.

The Bible records the destruction of the Tower of Babel when the people of the world at that time who only spoke one language were confronted by a heavenly visitor and the tower was destroyed by the confusion of one language becoming many languages, Genesis 11. This account of Babylon's beginnings found in Genesis 11 is only the start of a significant history for this city. Babylon is where the Jews were held captive for 70 years, II Chronicles 36. Babylon was the city where Alexander the Great became the leader of the known world. Babylon is also the city where the Apostle Peter traveled to start a church to reach that part of the world, I Peter 5:13. Babylon will also be the headquarters for a world economic center and its leader, the Antichrist, Revelation 18. Babylon is the city that will be destroyed in one hour, Revelation 18:10, 17, 19.
This will be a total destruction and forever, Isaiah 13,14, Jeremiah 50, 51, and Revelation 16:17-21.

Archaeologists working to preserve the city of Babylon is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The headline for this report is correct - howbeit, it is a headline from Israel dating back over 60 years to the time when on December 13, 1949, David Ben-Gurion, Israel's first prime minister, declared to the members of the Israeli government meeting in Tel Aviv, that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish state of Israel and the Israeli legislative body, the Knesset, approved the declaration. The Israeli government action followed the United Nations declaration that Jerusalem must be internationalized to which David Ben-Gurion responded that Jerusalem is an intrical part of Israel, its eternal capital, and no United Nations resolution can change such an historic fact.

Though the world doesn't recognize the historic prophetic fact that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish state of Israel as so declared by Israel's first prime minister, David Ben-Gurion, the Bible confirms this fact and says it is absolute.

In December of 1949 the then prime minister of Israel, David Ben-Gurion, made the unilateral declaration that Jerusalem was the eternal capital of the Jewish state of Israel and that no United Nations resolution could change that fact. Ben-Gurion added that Jerusalem was made the capital of the Jewish people some 3000 years ago, a declaration made by the second king of Israel, King David. The counter-declaration by Ben-Gurion that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Israel, was a political declaration that is in perfect harmony with many passages in the Bible.

In the Davidic Covenant found in II Samuel 7, the Lord promised the Jewish people that He will give them a place to dwell and that they will move no more (II Samuel 7:10). The Davidic Covenant also confirms that the Jewish Messiah will rule a kingdom from a temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and do that forever. In fact, God has committed to dwelling among the Jewish people in Jerusalem forever (Psalm 132:13-14). Even on the new earth called for in Isaiah 65 and 66 and in Revelation 21, the earthly city of Jerusalem will be the center of all spiritual activities (Micah 4:1-3, Isaiah 2).

David Ben-Gurion's declaration over 60 years ago that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish state of Israel is absolute. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Palestinian government says that Jewish people have no right to pray at the Western Wall in Jerusalem, where they now go to pray 3 times every day

There is a document on the official mouthpiece for the Palestinian Authority, a website that claims the Jewish people have no right to go to the Western Wall in Jerusalem and pray, which they do three times daily, because the report says the Western Wall belongs to Moslems and the Jews have no connection with the Western Wall.

This study by the Palestinian Authority has been denounced by Israel and the United States because it says the Western Wall has always belonged to the Moslems and the Jews have been allowed to pray there because of Moslem tolerance.

The claim by the Palestinian Authority that Jewish people have no right to pray at the Western Wall in Jerusalem is a contradiction to historic fact and the prophetic scenario that focuses on the Temple Mount for the end times.

The report published by an official of the Palestinian Authority stating that Jews have no connection to the Western Wall in Jerusalem since there is no stone in the Western Wall that dates back to the time of King Solomon is partially correct and partially wrong. The correct part is that indeed there are no stones in the Western Wall dating back to King Solomon some 3000 years ago - the reason being that the Western Wall was only built some 2000 years ago by Herod the Great. The incorrect statement is that there is no historic Jewish connection to the Western Wall.

Herod used over 10,000 Jewish laborers to build that wall and it was the western retaining wall used to keep the Temple Mount in tact. King Solomon did build the first temple on the Temple Mount and Herod the Great spent 46 years refurbishing the second temple on that same spot - both of these were Jewish temples. That disproves the Palestinian Authority claim of no Jewish connection to the Western Wall.

In fact, the Bible states that one day the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will come back to earth and build a temple for the Jewish people on the Temple Mount (Zechariah 1:16,6:12). However, before Messiah builds His temple in Jerusalem, there will be a Jewish temple erected on the Temple Mount (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4, and Revelation 11:1).

Palestinian claims are wrong. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Prime Minister of Canada says Israel is the only nation in the world whose very existence is under attack

Speaking at the Antisemitism Conference in Ottawa, Ontario, the prime minister of Canada said the Jewish nation of Israel is the only nation of the world whose very existence is under attack and is consistently and conspicuously singed out for condemnation.

Prime Minister Harper said that history shows the world and the ideology of the anti-Israel mob tells the world that those who threaten the existence of the Jewish people are a threat to all of the world. The prime minister said that we should not forget that there are those who choose evil and would launch another Holocaust if left unchecked.

The warning from the Canadian prime minister that there is evil in this world that, if left unchecked, would launch another Holocaust is a page out of Bible prophecy.

Canadian Prime Minister Steven Harper in a speech to an Antisemitism conference in Canada warned the world that Israel is the only nation in the world whose very existence is under attack. The prime minister said that evil in our world today is ready to launch another Holocaust, ready to kill Jews and destroy the Jewish state. Harper's word of warning about Antisemitism is not being heard by much of the world today and this ideology that wants Jews dead will indeed lead to another Holocaust.

I make that statement based upon the prophetic word that can be found in the Bible. Both Heaven and earth will be the scene for an attack on the Jews, not only in Israel, but around the world. Revelation 12 speaks of evil angels being thrown out of Heaven and when they come to the earth, they will go forth to kill all of the Jews, Revelation 12:7-17. Daniel 11, Ezekiel 38, and Psalm 83 foretold of an alignment of nations who will, in the last days, endeavor to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. Zechariah, an ancient Jewish prophet, says that two out of every three Jews will be killed in the future, Zechariah 13:8.

Canadian Prime Minister Harper's warning is real and the threat of a future Holocaust is real as well.

A leading American journalist says that Israel was established to prevent a second Holocaust not to invite one

Syndicated columnist and political commentator Charles Krauthammer appearing on a Fox News program said a possible Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear facilities is inevitable, adding that the US Secretary of Defense has stated that an Israeli preemptive strike on Iran is likely to occur in the coming months.

Krauthammer said Panetta's statement means the Israeli's think that the moment, the time frame in which Israel can no longer attack Iran successfully is fast approaching. Krauthammer says Israel must attack because they can not live under the threat of annihilation. Israel was founded to prevent a second Holocaust, not to invite another one.

A preemptive strike on Iran's nuclear facilities by the IDF would only delay a second Holocaust, not completely stop one, that is according to Bible prophecy.

America's syndicated columnist and political pundit Charles Krauthammer says that Israel was established to prevent another Holocaust like the one that took place during WWII, not to invite another one. Krauthammer states the obvious when he also said that the Jewish people in Israel cannot live under the constant threat of annihilation as has been the case over the last several years. The leadership of Iran, both President Ahmadinejad and the leader of the Supreme Council, Ayatollah Ali Khomeini continue to spout radical rhetoric calling for Israel to be wiped off the earth and her name be forgotten forever.

The Iranians deny that the first Holocaust happened and are calling for a second one in order to annihilate the Jews and eliminate the state of Israel. Bible prophecy does foretell that Iran will be a major player in the alignment of nations who endeavor to try to destroy Israel, Ezekiel 38:5. Israel will try and defend themselves from such a Holocaust, but will only delay it as the Lord intervenes to stop Iran and the alignment of nations, Ezekiel 38:18-39:6. However, before the Time of Jacob's Trouble is come to an end, two out of every three Jews will be killed, Zechariah 13:8.

This time will be the worst Holocaust ever in history.

A Hamas leader says that Jews will soon be expelled from all of Israel

Mahmoud Zahar, a Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip, says the Jews of Israel, Palestine as he referred to the Jewish nation, will be soon expelled from the land the same way they were expelled out of France, Russia, and Germany in the past. Zahar said that the only nation that received the Jews after they were expelled from the European nations was the Islamic nation which protected them.

Zahar claimed that the Jews were expelled in the past because they betrayed, stole, and corrupted the countries and that the Palestinians with their blood can liberate their lands and holy sites in all of Palestine.

The declaration by a Hamas terrorist leader that the Jews will soon be expelled from their nation of Israel is an echo of the prophetic scenario that's found in Bible prophecy for the last days.

Mahmoud Zahar, a Hamas terrorist leader has in the past called for the Jews to be expelled from their land and nation of Israel. Now the Islamic terrorist leader says that in the near future the Jews will indeed be put out of the land that they claim as a Jewish state. Zahar has called for all Palestinian factions to unite and if need be shed their blood to liberate what they call Palestine which they say is all of Israel and then they can go to al Aksa Mosque in Jerusalem to pray.

This report is evidence that the end of times prophetic scenario found in the Bible is very close to fulfillment. The ancient Jewish prophets Ezekiel, Malachi, and Obadiah all prewrote history on this matter and foretold of the Edomites, the descendants of Esau, the Palestinians of today trying to rid the world of the Jewish people, the descendants of Jacob, twin brother of Esau. Malachi wrote that the Edomites, the Palestinians, would return to rebuild (Malachi 1). Ezekiel wrote that these people, the Palestinians, would kill the Jews and take their land (Ezekiel 35). Obadiah revealed that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict would only be resolved when the Messiah Jesus Christ returns to the earth (Obadiah 15-18). Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Islamic terror organization of al Qaeda says that all Middle Eastern Christians are legitimate targets

Christians across the Middle East have been put on notice by the Islamic state of Iraq, better known as the Iraqi branch of the international branch of the international Islamic terror organization al Qaeda, that all Christians in the Middle East are now legitimate targets. The ministry of war of the Islamic state of Iraq declares that all centers, organizations, and bodies of Christian leaders and followers have become targets wherever their hands can reach them.

The terrorist leaders said that the doors of destruction are open and that Christian blood will flow like a river in the Middle East.

The threat by Islamic terrorists to kill Christians in the Middle East is a page out of Bible prophecy for the last days.

Recently in Baghdad, Iraq a group of Islamic militants entered a church and killed over 60 church goers after they held them hostage for a number of hours. Soon after this horrific attack the Islamic Republic of Iraq, a branch of al Qaeda, declared that all Christians in the Middle East are legitimate targets and their blood will flow like a river. This declaration by Islamic militants on the Middle Eastern Christian community is that page of Bible prophecy that can be found in a number of prophetic passages.

Though true born again Christians will depart the world at the Rapture of the Church there will be many others that will become believers, followers of Jesus Christ in the seven year Tribulation period (Revelation 7:9, I Thessalonians 4:13-18). During the Tribulation period these new believers in Jesus Christ will be martyred because of their faith (Revelation 6:9-11). John the Revelator wrote of the Tribulation saints that will be killed, many of them beheaded, for their witness for Jesus and for the Word of God (Revelation 20:4-6).

Threats from the Islamic militants to kill Christians in the Middle East is indeed a page from Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

Iran's president believes that the Mahdi, the Moslem Messiah, is coming very soon

Iranian President Ahmadinejad is a Shiite Moslem that believes that the Mahdi, the Moslem Messiah, is coming into this world very soon and that Messiah will be the twelfth Imam who comes as the final Imam and the savior of the world. Ahmadinejad believes that he is the forerunner of the Mahdi, the twelfth Imam, and the Moslem Messiah will come to this earth following a catastrophic event, and event like a nuclear attack on the Jewish state of Israel.

Islamic eschatology states that the Mahdi, the Moslem Messiah, is coming and it could be very soon which has an interesting correlation with the soon coming of the true Messiah as foretold in Bible prophecy.

The Islamic faith has an eschatology, that's the study of the end times, and this eschatology has the Moslem Messiah, the Mahdi, appearing on the world scene to be the final savior of mankind. The Shiite Moslems believe that the twelfth Imam gone from this world for hundreds of years will reappear and come out of Iran. The Iranian President Ahmadinejad believes that he is the forerunner of the Mahdi and if he can cause a catastrophic event to happen, like a nuclear attack on Israel, that the Mahdi will appear and in fact will appear in the very near future.

About 85% of the entire Shiite Moslem world agrees with Ahmadinejad and they believe the Moslem Messiah will come to this world to set the world in order for the caliphate. Now the caliphate is a worldwide Islamic kingdom which will also be put in place by the Mahdi.

The ancient Jewish prophets, the true spokesmen for the true God of the Bible wrote how this would all play out. Zechariah wrote of the return of Jesus Christ, the true Messiah, to the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:4). John wrote in Revelation 19 that this Messiah would return after the seven year Tribulation period where judgment will have been unleashed on the earth and earthdwellers. When Jesus returns He will build a temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem where He will rule and reign forever (Zechariah 1:16, Zechariah 6:12-13).

Moslem eschatology has the Mahdi, the Moslem Messiah, coming back in the near future. But the truth be known, the true Messiah Jesus Christ will come in the near future. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

A UN resolution approved over 60 years ago could have resolved the Israeli-Palestinian conflict but the Palestinians rejected it

In February of 1947, Great Britain, which had control of the area of the Middle East that includes modern day Jordan and Israel and the areas claimed today by the Palestinians, decided to turn the issue over to the UN which then decided to establish two states at that time, one for the Palestinians and one for the Jews.

The Palestinian rejection of the UN resolution was not only political, but they launched a large scale terrorist campaign against the Jewish people followed by an invasion of Israel by five Arab armies to destroy Israel when it declared its independence in May of 1948.

The rejection of a UN resolution to establish the states of Palestine and Israel in the Middle East in 1947 set the stage for the present day conflict as well as the end of times scenario for these two peoples that can be found in Bible prophecy.

The UN Resolution 181 passed on November 29, 1947 by a large majority of the member states of the General Assembly set in place the establishment of two new states in the Middle East, Israel and Palestine. By direct order of the Palestinian leaders, the elderly, women and children of the Palestinian people fled the area as the militant Palestinians moved to annihilate the Jews so there would be only one new state, Palestine.

This report of the beginnings of the present day Israeli-Palestinian conflict is also the evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled. The descendants of Esau, the Palestinians of today, vowed that they would return and rebuild in what they claimed to be their land which is modern day Israel, Malachi 1:4. The ancient prophet Ezekiel wrote in Ezekiel 35 that these Palestinians would kill the Jews, verse 5, and take their land, verse 10. Obadiah, another Jewish prophet, reveals that the resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will only come about when the Messiah, Jesus Christ, returns to earth, Obadiah 15-18.

Palestinian rejection of the UN partition plan did indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Iran's supreme Islamic leader says Moslems must kill Jews and annihilate Israel and they can do that in just nine minutes

Two websites in Iran are calling for Moslems to kill Jews and annihilate Israel and that they will do this in less than nine minutes, a plan that has legal and religious justification for the attack on the Jewish state which also includes Jewish people worldwide.

In fact, Iran already has a strategy in place for an offensive attack that would target key Israeli sites using land-to-land missiles or their nuclear weapon of mass destruction mounted as a warhead on their long range Shahab 3 missile that can hit any target in Israel.

A call by the supreme Islamic leader of Iran for Moslems to rise up and kill Jews and annihilate the Jewish state of Israel and be able to do that, as they say, in nine minutes is a page right out of Bible prophecy for the last days.

Several years ago, Iranian President Ahmadinejad called for Israel to be wiped off the face of the earth and he has continued this radical rhetoric up until today. It is amazing to me as I watch world leaders not doing anything serious to stop this call for the planned destruction of an entire nation, the Jewish people. I mentioned that this scenario actually is a page out of Bible prophecy for the end of times. The ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel wrote 2500 years ago that Iran, mentioned as Persia in Ezekiel 38:5, would rise up to try to slaughter the Jewish people in the last days.

In the fulfillment of Bible prophecy, Ezekiel 34 and 37, the Jews have returned to the land of their forefathers and now consider the Iranians as the number one threat to their existence. Daniel 11, Ezekiel 38, and Psalm 83 all mention an alignment of nations that will join Iran in an effort to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. In fact, Psalm 83:4 says this coalition of nations will rise up to cut Israel off from being a nation in this world and work so that the name of the Jewish state, Israel will be forgotten forever. Ezekiel 38:18-39:6 reveals that the Lord will intercede from Heaven and actually destroy Iran and all the nations in their coalition.

Politically, Iran wants to wipe Israel off the earth. Prophetically, Iran will be the nation destroyed by the Lord.

Exxon Mobil, one of the world's largest oil companies, has challenged Iraq's Prime Minister Maliki as the political leader of war torn Iraq, works to stop the growing regional separatism of his nation as it relates to the central government's control over territory and the oil rights of the different regions of Iraq. Iraqi Kurdistan, the oil rich region of Iraq, has signed an agreement with Exxon Mobil for billions of barrels of oil which could jeopardize Maliki's central government's authority and bring down the fragile power sharing coalition in Baghdad.

The stability of Iraq's coalition government made up of Sunni Moslems, Shiites, and the Kurds is at risk of breaking up over the control of Iraq's greatest natural resource, oil.

The battle over the oil rights of war torn Iraq is setting the stage for a scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy for the last days.

It has been known for a long time that the rebuilding of war torn Iraq would be paid for by the agreements for the oil rights to the massive oil fields in Iraq. Petroleum experts say that today's greatest source of oil can be found under the ground of this battlefield in the Middle East. Iraq's Prime Minister Maliki is doing a balancing act as he tries to stabilize his national coalition government but at the same time, reap the benefits for the sale of the oil rights across all of Iraq. Some say that Prime Minister Maliki is not up to the task of rebuilding his nation and making Iraq an economic powerhouse in this oil rich region of the world.

The prophetic scenario found in Bible prophecy foretells of an appearance of a strong man who will bring Iraq to the economic center of the world. John, the writer of the book of Revelation, reveals the appearance of the Antichrist, that strong man, who will in fact head up the economic power base in Babylon which is modern-day Iraq (Revelation 13 and 18). The United Methodist Church, the Presbyterian Church, and other mainline protestant denominations in the United States have launched what could be called a heavenly intifada, a popular uprising against the Jewish people and the Jewish state of Israel. This heavenly intifada has taken the form of boycotting companies that do business or have major operations with Israel by divesting in these companies, withdrawing financial support from anybody doing business with Israel.

In addition to divesting their financial support these mainline church groups have also branded Judaism as a bloodthirsty primitive religion and that Jews are no longer the chosen people but instead, the Devil's people.

In a documentary produced by my son, Jim Jr., a leading rabbi in Jerusalem says that he believes the next Jewish temple will be rebuilt on the Temple Mount in his lifetime and he says everything is ready to build that temple today. Rabbi Nachman Kahane, the rabbi who has guided many Jewish students of the Scriptures on the subject of the temple has been the main source of serious study and preparations to build the Jewish temple basically because that is what the Bible calls for from the religious Jews.

In Rabbi Kahane's Yeshiva, which is a place of learning for Jewish young men, the rabbi trained all the leaders of this effort to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem and it was his students that started the Temple Institute who has accumulated all the implements for the next temple and train the men to operate that temple.

All the preparations have been made to rebuild the next Jewish temple in Jerusalem which is in essence a page out of Bible prophecy for the end of times. Twenty years ago I sat with Rabbi Nachman Kahane as he was beginning his quest to rebuild the Jewish temple in Jerusalem on the Temple Mount. Now twenty years later the rabbi believes that the temple will indeed be rebuilt in his lifetime. That is a quote from the rabbi on a documentary released on the subject that shows the rabbi plus many others who also agree that the temple could be standing in Jerusalem in the very near future.

Rabbi Yehuda Glick, the former head of the Temple Institute, says even the priestly garments are ready and the temple will stand in full operation very soon. Rabbi Chaim Richman, who is the leading authority on the red heifer, says the temple will be built at the spot of the original site of the Garden of Eden which he says is the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Rabbi Yoel Keren says that there will be a Jewish temple in Jerusalem that follows the details in Ezekiel 40-46 but first the Jewish people will build a less extravagant temple as they did when the Second Temple was rebuilt 2500 years ago. The priests have been trained, the implements made to operate the temple, even the Menorah, the seven branched candelabra, and there are ten stringed harps for the Levites to play as called for by King David in I Chronicles 23:5.

With all preparations made for the next temple, Bible prophecy is about to be fulfilled.

The religious Jews around the world have a weekly reading in the Torah, the first five books of the Bible, which is read and discussed in the synagogues as these Jews read through Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy in one year. Thousands of Jews gathered in the city of Hevron to read the portion of the Torah, Genesis 23, which is the record of the Jewish patriarch Abraham purchasing the Machpelah Cave as the burial site for his wife Sarah.

A meeting between A- Taib and the leaders of the Islamic terror group Hamas brought a strategy together for achieving their goal of a Jew free Jerusalem. This report is tangible evidence of how the prophetic scenario found in Bible prophecy is quickly approaching the fulfillment on each of the prophecies related to the city of Jerusalem.

Zechariah 12:2 says that in the last days Jerusalem will be the center of controversy. The Davidic Covenant found in II Samuel 7 reveals that the Lord will place the Jews in Jerusalem forever and there He will protect them from all of their enemies. Jesus Christ said that He would return to Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:4) and there build a temple where He will rule and reign forever (Zechariah 6:12-13). Jerusalem is the place where the Lord said that He would dwell among His people, the Jewish people, forever (Psalm 132:13-14).

No Moslem cleric or anyone else for that matter can stop Bible prophecy from being fulfilled.

Police in Germany have uncovered a gang of extremists which is believed to be the tip of the iceberg in the existence of a brown shirt faction symbolic of Hitler's brown shirt police who stalked the streets of Germany after Hitler's ascension to power and his persecution of the Jews.

The latest survey of the beliefs and values among Israeli Jews, the first comprehensive study in more than a decade, reveals that 80% of Israeli Jews believe that God exists and some 70% of these Jews surveyed believed the Jews are the chosen people, a statement that can be found in the Bible. The authors of this study believe the demographic changes in Israel caused by the higher birthrates among the orthodox and the ultra-orthodox Jews has resulted in the uptick of Jewish attachment to Biblical truth with a majority of all Israeli Jews believing in the coming Jewish Messiah.

A recent survey made among Israeli Jews reveals that Jews believe they are God's chosen people, a fact that the Bible stated more than 4000 years ago but a fact that means God does have a plan for the Jewish people in the future - that is according to Bible prophecy.

Over the last decade, Jews living in Israel have become much more religious, an interesting fact in light of God's plan for the Jewish people in the future. A recent survey indicates that 70% of all Israeli Jews believe in God and 55% of those surveyed say they believe in the coming of their Messiah. Fully 80% of Israeli Jews believe that God does indeed exist, the highest figure in more than two decades, a trend that will take place as the world moves into the prophetic events found in Bible prophecy.

The ancient Jewish prophecy Ezekiel prewrote history as he spoke of the regathering of the Jewish people from the four corners of the earth, the restoration of a Jewish state and a Jewish community in Israel that though in unbelief, there will be an increase in a desire to see their Messiah and to become the people of God, the chosen people (Ezekiel 37:7-11 and Ezekiel 34:11-30). God does have a plan for the Jewish people and this plan is focused on the land of Israel, a land promised to the Jewish people by God Himself (Ezekiel 36, Deuteronomy 30). Millions of Africans are fighting for survival from hunger

The lack of rain, entrenched poverty, and lack of investments by other nations has pushed 12 million Africans into a fight for survival in the Triangle of Hunger where the borders of Ethiopia, Kenya, and Somalia come together causing thousands of families to walk for days in search for food. Thirsty livestock are dying by the thousands and food prices, which are at an all time record high across the world, have resulted in food prices rising beyond what families can afford in the African triangle.

Africans from Somalia, desperate for food, are overrunning the world's largest refugee camp located in Kenya as 10,000 new refugees per week flee violence and hunger in their country resulting in a human tragedy of unimaginable proportions.

With millions of Africans fighting for their very survival from violence and hunger, the stage is being set for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The United Nations has recently released a report that food prices across the world have risen to an all time record high which is part of the problem for the massive hunger that has hit the triangle in Africa where Ethiopia, Kenya, and Somalia all come together. The reports of millions of Africans fighting for their own survival from hunger are almost unbelievable but may not even tell the whole story.

This area of Africa has long been a major drought area causing both livestock and vegetation to be limited in its production of food stuffs in order to be able to feed people. There are official government reports that the situation is not getting better but instead getting worse and headed for a major human tragedy.

This present scenario is actually a precursor to what Bible prophecy calls for in the end of times. Jesus, in His Olivet Discourse - Matthew 24, told His disciples that hunger and its increase around the world was one of the signs of His Second Coming to Earth. Remember His Second Coming follows 7 years of Tribulation which is horrific judgment on the Earth, which by the way, follows the Rapture of the Church.

The book of Revelation reveals that hunger and famine will increase during this Tribulation period with farmland being burned up, the waters of the Earth being contaminated, and war running rampant across the Earth (Revelation 6:5-6, 8:3-9, 16:19).

What we see happening in the Triangle of Africa today is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled in a future tomorrow that may well be very soon.

There has been much talk recently about a possible preemptive strike on Iran's nuclear program by the Israeli Defense Forces and world leaders are voicing their concerns about a nuclear powered Iran with a weapon of mass destruction that is a threat to the entire world and now China and Russia come out with support for Iran's development of a nuclear weapon of mass destruction. China and Russia are warning Western countries that additional pressure on Iran will not solve the nuclear standoff and they encourage more dialogue with the Iranians instead of tougher sanctions.

The European Union and the United States have endeavored to deal with the problem by implementing tough sanctions on Iran. A recent report by the United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency, the IAEA, concluded that Iran's nuclear program was for more than domestic use and it has a military element as well. With Israel talking more and more about a preemptive strike on Iran's nuclear program before the Iranians have a nuclear weapon of mass destruction, both Russia and China are now warning the world to back off of Iran.

The end of times scenario that's found in Bible prophecy discusses all the major players mentioned in this report; Iran, Russia, and China. Iran, referred to as Persia in Ezekiel 38:5, will be a major player in an alignment of nations who will attack the Jewish state of Israel in the last days. That coalition of nations will be led by Russia who is the Magog in Ezekiel 38:2. These nations will attack Israel at the beginning of the 7 year Tribulation period, a time of great conflict on this earth in the future (Ezekiel 38:8,11). Prime Minister Maliki in Iraq and his coalition government are faced with the task of rebuilding this war torn nation and the prospects for a stable government do not look promising. Reports from the region say that Iraqi leaders are having to deal with the uptick in radical opposition to Maliki's government which is causing the implementation of Authoritarianism.

This scenario used by Saddam Hussein and now the Maliki government will be the mode of operation for the final leader of Iraq according to Bible prophecy. Modern day Iraq is Biblical Babylon and the actual city of Babylon is 58 miles out of downtown Baghdad. John the Revelator in Revelation 18 reveals the fact that Babylon will be the economic, political, and governmental capital of the world in the last 3 1/2 years of the seven year Tribulation Period. The leader of this powerful base in the Middle East will be the Antichrist, the most fierce dictator of all history. Under his leadership, all of the world will take a mark, an identification mark on the forehead or back of the hand, so they will be able to buy or sell food, clothing, and housing, Revelation 13:16-17.

Indeed in the future for Iraq, Biblical Babylon, there will be a strong Authoritarian leader in charge. The Antichrist will rule Babylon.

An independent producer has produced a documentary that can be seen on Youtube which documents the history of the Temple Mount and its importance to both Jews and Palestinian Arabs. This video points out that the Koran, the Moslem holy book, never even mentions the city of Jerusalem much less the Temple Mount. The documentary reveals that the Temple Mount is sacred to the Jewish people while it is a place of recreation for Moslems where they picnic, play soccer, and even use it as a base for violent riots.

In the Jewish Bible, Jerusalem is mentioned over 600 times and the Holy Mountain of God, the Biblical term for the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is the site of two previous Jewish temples and the location for the Messiah's Temple in the future (II Samuel 7 and Zechariah 1:16). Zechariah 12:2 states that Jerusalem and the Temple Mount will be the center of controversy in the end of times and the debate between the Jews and the Palestinians is effectively fulfilling that prophecy. The Messiah Jesus Christ will return to Jerusalem one day and build His temple on the Temple Mount where He will rule and reign forever (Zechariah 6:12-13).

The controversy surrounding the Temple Mount in Jerusalem will continue until Jesus returns. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.
