i was talkin to sumone and our discussion turn to amritdhari and non amritdhari . It was like Bhai sahib was sayin should we keep close relation to Be-amrtiye . i was like why not bhai sahib . Peer Buddhu Shah was so close to Guru Sahib, Sanyi Miya Meer ji was so close to Guru Arjan Sahib ji .

At time of dharam yudh morcha there are lots of example where sangat of gurmukhs changes lots of jeevans.one of the the example is Bhai Mohar Singh and his family. bhai sahib born to Mata Suhag Vanti and Pandit Bihari Lal Ji in the village Jumal Pur, District Amritsar. he was basicly from a hindu family .One day Bhai Sahib found out that Sant Baba Kartar Singh Ji Bhindranwale, the 13th Jathedhar of Guru Sahib’s Taksal would be coming to his village for a program. Bhai Sahib decided to go to this program. After listening to the Katha of Sant Ji, Bhai Sahib was extremely moved. He spoke to a few Singhs from the Jatha after this and then decided to become a Singh of Satguru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj.On the 6th of June after suffering thousands of causalities the army saw that the Khalsa of Guru Sahib would not let them enter. The Generals in charge of the army then decided to send Tanks and other armored vehicles into Darbar Sahib.Bhai Mohar Singh Ji and his family who had been fighting their morcha saw what was happening. They then decided that now was the time to sacrifice themselves for the sake of the Sikh Kaum.

They did an ardas to Maharaj, and then all four family members strapped several grenades to themselves and prepared to go back home to the feet of Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Sahib Ji. Shouting Jaikarey they ran towards the lead tank and as they jumped on it, they blew it to pieces. It was because of these four beautiful saint soldiers of Guru Sahib that the tanks behind this one could not get through and do even more damage.

Bhai Sahib and his family gave their heads to Guru Sahib at the same place that their older brother Dhan Dhan Baba Deep Singh Ji had done all those years ago.

When Singhs saw this they couldn’t stop tears of happiness from flowing. Bhai Mohar Singh Ji’s family’s shaheedi filled the rest of the Singhs with so much josh and they continued to inflict heavy casualties on the invaders, right till the end.

now singho tell me bhai sahib was hindu before talkin amrit . Bhai sahib got sangat of singhs and later bhai sahib become proud member of our khalsa panth . if we will not keep others with us jus bcoz they are not amritdhari then how we will spread the message of Akaalpurakh Gurbani says

we cant judge anyone with only his saroop . if one is in bana then also u cant say hez a real gursikh . there are lots like me who wear bana but no inner rehats
so just dont judge anyone coz of his bahari saroop and dont hate anyone jus coz hez beamritiya who knws if he got sadhsangat he will become a great khalsa . i still remember sumone told me

ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਇੱਸ ਜਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਸ ਦੇ ਦਿਆਲਪੁਣੇ ਦੀ ਲਾਸਾਨੀ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਹੈ ।ਔਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ ਦਿਲੀ ਦੇ ਤਖਤ ਤੇ ਬੈਠਾ ਸੀ ਮੁਤਸਵੀ ਨਿਤੀ ਤੇ ਚਲਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇੱਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਾਪ ਨੂੰ ਕਤਲ ਕਿਤਾ ਭਾਈਆਂ ਤੇ ਭੈਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਹਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿਤਾ , ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਜਣ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੈਂਤਰਾ ਚਲਿਆ ਕੀ ਮੈ ਇੱਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਲਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਆਵਾਂ । ਇੱਸ ਦੀ ਸੋਚ ਸੀ ਜੇ ਮੈ ਇਹ ਸੱਭ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਕਾਜ਼ੀ ਮੋਲਵੀ ਸੱਭ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣਗੇ । ਪਰ ਸਚ ਪੁਛੋ ਤਾਂ ਕੇਵਲ ਤੇ ਕੇਵਲ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਪ ਕੱਜਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਪਖੰਡ ਸੀ । ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਸੱਚਾ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਹੰਦਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹਤ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਣ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਕਤਲ ਕਰਦਾ ? ਨਹੀ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀ ਇਸਲਾਮ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਕਤਲੋ ਗਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਇਜ਼ਾਜ਼ਤ ਨਹੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ । ਅਪਣੀ ਸੋਚ ਵੱਸ ਹੋ ਔਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ ਨੇ ਅਪਣਾ ਰੂਖ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਵੱਲ ਕੀਤਾ । ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਿਹਲਾਂ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਕੀ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਉਘੇ ਵਿਦਵਾਨ ਸੀ , ਜੇਕਰ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰੀ ਪੰਡੀਤ ਇਸਲਾਮ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਲਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈਕੇ ਆਉਣਾ ਕੋਈ ਔਖੀ ਖੇਡ ਨਹੀ ਸੀ । ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਪੱਖ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਸੀ ਕੀ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸਲਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਬਾਦੀ ਵੀ ਵਾਧੂ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਔਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦਾ ਚਾਂਗਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਪੈਣਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰੀ ਪੰਡੀਤ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਨੇ ਇਸਲਾਮਕ ਅਬਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੀਹਾਦ ਦਾ ਨਾਰਾ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਢ ਲੈਣਾ ਸੀ । ਜਦੋਂ ਔਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ ਵਲੋਂ ਧੱਕੇਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਹੋਣ ਲਗੀ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰੀ ਪੰਡੀਤ ਤੇਗ ਦੇ ਧਨੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ ।

ਦੁਖੀ ਬਿਪਰ ਚਲ ਆਏ ਸੋ ਪੁਰੀ ਅਨੰਦ ।

ਬੇਨਤੀ ਅਰਜ਼ੋਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਇਸ ਕੁਲ ਜਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਸਾਡੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਸੋ ਆਪ ਹੋ , ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰੋ ਸਾਡੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰੋ , ਸਾਡੇ ਤਿਲਕ ਦਾ ਰੰਗ ਤੇ ਜੰਞੁ ਦੀ ਡੋਰ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਹੈ । ਅੱਜ ਇਸ ਜਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਡੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਪਕੜਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀ , ਉਸ ਸਮੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਬੜਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਦੋ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮਜ਼ਲੂਮਾ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ । ਬੜੀ ਹੀ ਕਮਾਲ ਦੀ ਗਲ ਹੈ , ਉਹੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰੀ ਜਿਥੇ ਨੋਵੇਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਆਏ ਸ਼ਰਨਾਗਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕਿਤਾ ਅੱਜ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਵਾਰਸ ਅਜ ਉਸੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰੀ ਦੇ ਮੱਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਣ ਤੋ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ । ਖੈਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਘਰ ਦਾ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਮਜ਼ਲੂਮ ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਅਸੂਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ , ਉਸ ਵਕਤ ਜੇਕਰ ਮਜ਼ਲੂਮ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਅਤ ਜ਼ਾਲਮ ਕੋਈ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਵਕਤ ਰਖਿਆ ਉਸ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਮਜ਼ਲੂਮ ਦੀ ਹੋਣੀ ਸੀ ਇਕ ਗਲ ਹੋਰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਖਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ ਕੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਕਿਸੀ ਦਾ ਪਖ ਨਹੀ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨ ਹੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਵਿਰੋਧਤਾ ਕਿਤੀ , ਸਿਰਫ ਇੱਕ ਮਜ਼ਲੂਮ ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਿਤੀ , ਬਿਪਰਵਾਦੀ ਸੋਚ ਦਾ ਇੱਹ ਸੋਚਣਾ ਕੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਜੰਞੁ ਦੀ ਹਿਮਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਭੂਲੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਣਾ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ ਕੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨ ਿਜੰਞੁ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਹਿਮਾਇਤ ਨਹੀ ਕਿਤੀ , ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵੇਲੇ ਜੰਞੁ ਜਬਰਦਸਤੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਹੋਇਆ , ਨੋਵੇਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਵੇਲੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਬਰ ਨਾਲ ਉਤਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਫੇਰ ਇਥੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਜ਼ਬਰ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਿਤਾ ਸੀ ਨ ਕੀ ਜੰਞੁ ਦੀ ਹਿਮਾਇਤ । ਜੇ ਅੱਜ ਮੰਦਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੋਤ ਜਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਲ ਨਹੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਖੁਨ ਬਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਇੱਹ ਬਿਪਰ ਆਪਣਾ ਇਤਹਾਸ ਭੂਲ ਗਏ, ਪਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਅਪਣੀ ਰੀਤ ਨਹੀ ਭੂਲਿਆ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਪੰਥ ਅਪਣੇ ਗੁਰੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਈ ਰੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ ।

Bhai Jasbir Singh Ji Khalsa played a great role in Gurmat parchar . Bhai sahib got award of Panth ratan. It was not jus coz of this award but realy he was a precious Gem of our panth . Sgpc annonced to instal a portrait of Gurumkh payare Bhai Jasbir Singh ji khalsa Khane waley on 2nd sep 2008 . Bhai Jasbir Singh ji was a blessed soul blessed with naam seva and simran .

With the apaar kirpa of Akaalpurakh ji i got kirpa to visit Pavitar Dharti of Machirvara Sahib
The place where Guru Ji did rest after the jung of Shri Chamkaur Sahib . Two Sahibzadas , Baba Ajit Singh Ji & Baba Jujhar singh ji got martyr with other Guru ke laal. After that Panj Singh Gave Hukum to Sahib Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji to left the fortress of Chamkaur Sahib . It was the hukum of panth and Guru ji left the Chamkaur Sahib and reached vill. churpur & sat to relax under a tree known as jhaar sahib where there is a Gurudwara Sahib now .From There he crosses Vill. Pawar & Sahjomajra Etc. and then jungle of Machivara sahib . Here Guru ji reached near a well first of all he drank water from that well then he took a tind ( a pot which draws from the well ) went under a jand tree and used that tind as a pillow to spend his night that Jand Sahib is still present at charankanwal Sahib .Here While remembring the God Guru Ji recited the shabad.
Here Bhai Dharam Singh ji Bhai Daya Singh and Bhai Maan Singh ji meet Guru Sahib. It was realy hard time, We can only imagine it but realy Guru Ji bare that for you. Shahe shenshah was there like a fakeer , He was alone there withou his mehal ,without his neela without his sahibzade. He is Sarbansdaani who give up his everything for his panth .

Saturday 28th July was filled with Sikhi for us . It was Protest in eve agains t jhootha baba raam rahim at jantar mantar chonk Delhi and rainsabai at 10 block Geeta colony. After protest we went to Gurdwara Bangala sahib for Shukrana Ardaas and from there we decided to attend this rainsabai as we were not sure bout the protest. We reach Geeta Colony around 10 it was like heaven when we hear waheguru waheguru waheguru waheguru waheguru . Sangat was waiting for Gurbir singh but due to some reason he didnt come for rainsabai but guru ke payare kirtani singh and singhnia blast this smagam with Gurbani kirtan . Next day i was feeling like aww sumthing is missing i want that rainsabai again.

Singhs were On hunger strike protesting against gurmeet ram rahim. Singhs decided to show sant roop of Khalsa so they call hunger strike & start protesting against ram rahim on 23rd of june 2008. No one come to see them for first four days but when our political masands got this news first Sarna come and request them to stop all this Sarna said that we should not mess with our Govt. coz we need them too . Bhai Sahib Bravely answered to him that we dont even care of ur Govt yea but if your Govt will do panthic work then we are ready if Govt will arrest that papi ram rahim now then we are ready to call it off .Next day Jathedar G.K. organised a Insaaf March but it was too political event. They come holding candles and start giving speeches first Swaami agnivesh requested Singhs not to violate and peacefully protest Manjeet Singh G.K said That badal dal demanding justice. in whole scene no one was looking at those Singhs who were on strike since last 6 days only few singhs were there with them after all speeches these leader come toward these singhs showing sympathy and one singh from Damdami Taksal give Benti patar to singhs from Taksal requesting them to call off this hunger strike as Singhs were from Taksal so they got agree to this Benti and call this off saying that its not over yet. We are still in battle field .

The ambience raging infernal fire of warth was Jahangir furious were sulhi khan & sulbi khan so were bhagat kaahna and prohit. Elder brother Pirthi chand in fury. Horrible hot the month of jeth the boiling cauldron the red hot ironplate, equally hot was the executioner and the sand he poured over the Guru ji. Mian meer Ji was in red hot temper but only Guru Arjan Ji was Cool and calm and parched to death by the order of jahangir.

Akhand Kirtani Jatha Toronto organised AKJ Picnic . Place picked for it was Milton, Ontario . The place was peaceful. Bibi Gurmeet Kaur ,Bibi Harkirat Kaur , Bhai Deepinder Singh, Bhai Sukhdev Singh ,Bhai Harpreet Singh Ji did beautiful Kirtan filled the environment with spiritual vibrations .

Baba Banda Singh Bahadur well known saint-warrior known for his struggle against the Zalim mughals in the early seventeenth century.Baba Banda Singh Bahadur was Madho Das Bairagi before his baptisation by Guru Gobind Singh Ji .Guru Ji sent baba ji to punjab with his teer.After his occupation of Sarhind baba ji was the one who abolished jagirdar (feudalism ) from Punjab. Baba ji made Mukhlisgarh His capital and issued currency in the name of Gurus. His Offical seal bore the mark Deg Teg Fateh .

In 1716 A.D. Baba ji and 740 of his brave soldier were captured by the imperial forces after the fall of the fortress at Gurdaas Nangal .They fought the Mugal forces ferociously despite the shortage of food and water in the fortness which had been under siege for eight months
In Feb 1761 the streets of Delhi Witnessed a horrible procession Baba ji was dressed in kesri bana and was shut in a cage and the cage was placed on elephant . Heads of 2000 singhs were placed on spears held aloft by the mughals soldiers a spear pierced through the dead body of a cat to convey the message that no Siikh had been left alive ( What a fool. Khalsa is army of akalpurakh . Khalsa is foreva)

Out of the 740 sikhs held along with baba ji 100 sikhs were being executed daily on the order of farukh siyar. After 740 brave sikhs Baba ji was taken to the shrine of khwaja Qutab-ud-din Bakhtiar Kaaki . Then baba ji wa taken to the tomb of emperor Bahadur shah. His four year son was placed in his lap and he was asked to kill the child. The child was done to the death by his tormentors. his heart was pulled out and was pushed in the mouth of baba ji . The eyes of baba ji ji were pulled out of the socket and flesh plucked from his body. He was Subjected to atrocities and done to the death . Baba Ji remained Undisturbed,He accepted the Lords will and attained martyrdom .

Rajinderpal Singh veer ji is very chardikala wale singh . really love his kirtan style he use to do kirtan in different way .He do kirtan jus on Tabla insted of harmonium. Singh ji also do his nitnem on tabla. I thought to share this shabad with Sangat will post more shabads very soon

GRANTHI SAHIB CUTS THE GRASS

It was September 1948, Dr. Harinder Singh Dhindsa was teaching our class under a shady tree in the grounds of the Khalsa College, Amritsar. While sitting in the class, I could not help repeatedly looking at the Granthi Sahib of the college gurdwara cutting grass just 50 meters away. This distracted the attention of the teacher.

Being otherwise a disciplined student, the teacher excused me a couple of times. Finally, he became concerned at my looking away again and again. He himself looked back to see what was more interesting to me than the class. He also recognized that the gentleman cutting grass was the Granthi Sahib of the gurdwara.

We know that the person holding the responsibility of gurdwara Kirtan, recitation, and prayer commands the highest respect among Sikhs. The whole class then also looked at the Granthi Sahib. It is totally unexpected of the person holding that status to perform a job usually done by illiterate unemployed persons. Without saying anything to me, the professor addressed us:

“Well boys, close your notebooks. Let us understand a great moral lesson today. This will be a very important guide for your future life.” I felt relieved for not being rebuked by the teacher. He continued:

“Do you see that man with a white turban cutting grass in the fields? I know him. He is the Granthi Sahib of our college gurdwara. He is a very admirable person. Sikhs in the locality respect him a great deal. I also know why he is performing that lowly job. He has a cow at his house. Having put a rope around her neck, it becomes his responsibility to provide, grass, grain, and protection for her.

If you young people get the ‘rope’ of faith around your neck, God will do everything for you and will never fail to protect you from the worries and problems of your life. If you follow the path prescribed for you by your faith, you will never face any failure. You will always enjoy peace and pleasure in your heart.

It is only when we disregard the directions of our faith that we meet mental and physical problems in our life. Think of the cow tied at his house. If she gets free from the rope and wanders into the green crops, the farm guard will beat her with a stick. If she damages some experiment, he may get very angry and teach her a lesson, he may even break her leg. When we, under the stress of vices, ‘free’ ourselves of the religious ‘rope’ – the direction for a righteous life – we land ourselves in trouble.

We see thieves, drug users and cheats, creating trouble for themselves and leading stressful lives. If you want to be happy, respect the religious way of life. It may appear to be restricting but it keeps you disciplined and, like the cow at his (Granthi’s) house, safe.
