Lindell Cooley went on to lead worship at this church for another decade, before he followed God to his next assignment, the assignment he had always thought he would be doing. This is a fun, fast paced, lively chat that is full of nuggets and spiritual insight from a man who views the events at Brownsville not as the beginning...nor the ultimate, but just another step in a growing relationship with Father.

Once a year this Christ based and motivated church and social service entity restocks their pantry with goods to be shared for the next 12 months. This is the month they do it. Bev Mayfield stops by The Virtual Living Room to share some stories of hope and need, she updates Gene on statistical information in this period of economic downturn that borders on crisis levels. This is not the most "fun" or "Uplifting" chat you've ever heard, but it IS one of the most important ones.

He used to play in the National Football League for the Cleveland Browns… He coached the Rainy River Voyageurs football team to their best record in history this past fall… He is the recruiter for RRCC… He is the new Woman’s Basketball coach for the Voyageurs… He is the Minority Services Director for the college… He is a family man… AND he still had time to sit down with Gene in the Virtual Living Room for a chat, depth, laughter and a fun time on the air.

He and his family have been in town for 6 months leading the largest evangelical church in the area, so Gene thought is was about time to sit down with this Pastor for a chat.
