I am very grateful that you decided to read my post: I appreciate the valuable time you are taking and sharing with me.

I need advice that pretty much boils down to figuring out how to pick up where I left off about four years ago; so, I first want to share with you a couple of examples of my peak level. I am not trying to brag or show off, especially since my level wasn't all that high, as you will see if you choose to read on. The point is, it was my own personal peak, and I want you to understand that it took a lot of hard work and self-education to reach it: I literally followed the book to the letter. Hence, I do not want to start from zero again - I want to figure out a way to resume where I left off.

The following story exemplifies where my game was about four years ago: I was buying a Led Zeppelin CD at Virgin Megastore in Union Square, NYC; and, this HB6 next to me was looking at, as I later found out, Madonna CDs. My ears caught her muttering something to herself, and my opener was, in a cocky voice, "do you always talk to yourself in public?" She started giggling, I negged her some more, we hit it off, got her phone number, and I fclosed her a couple days later. This was my own personal peak condition - and it took about one year of diligent application of PUA techniques to achieve this state.

I still remember my rookie mission: going to the mall with my best friend for an entire day and saying hello, or something, to every single female we saw, from infants to retirees. Over the course of a year, I went from having to force myself to talk to girls to #closing, to kissclosing, to fclosing, to talking to random girls randomly. One time some girl actually asked me, "can I make out with you," after making eye contact for three seconds at a dive bar: later that night, after we already had sex for 2-3 hours, she begged me to have anal sex with her.

Again, I'm not trying to sound like I was an ace but I was on my way, and I felt compelled to share the above with all of you so you understand that I am not a rookie, per se. But, I did take enough time away from the game - four years - that I do not feel prepared to jump back in on that level.

What can I do to get back into peak shape without going through all the baby steps again? What are the hottest current trends in PUA, what book is everybody reading? If you got a good forum post for me to read, I'll take that, too.

Any help, advice, comment would be most appreciated.

So anyway I found that after this first highly responsive girl, I feel like the KING! I didnt use any negs or any of that stuff, I was just confident, energetic and spontaneous. I was calling tons of women to write on the wall, being a bit flirty and outrageous, I realised its not so much what you say, but HOW you come accross, anyway I left the club with 13 numbers. Many of the chicks were high grade I would say 8/10.

I came to the realisation that it dont matter how hot a chick is, in relation to getting her,
some ugly chicks are harder than hot chicks, true story!
Its not about what you say, but HOW you say it.

I am very happy with that result, I called one girl and she was super keen for plans, and I texted another one and shes also keen.



I just got one ''problem''...I havnt called the other 11, any suggestions on how I can manipulate this time delay to my advantage?

Today I have a shoot for a music video. During the entire shoot, I manage to hit on every girl. As I'm leaving the shoot, one of the girls that I was macking on hardcore is walking a couple paces behind me. I can feel her eyes on me. I abruptly turn around:

Me: STOP!

Her (we'll call her Homeless Shelter): *DERP face*

Me: I'm not going to leave without a kiss goodbye

Initiate hardcore tongue down in the hallway as the rest of the music video cast and crew file past us like what the fuck.

We get in our separate cars and leave. On the road, I notice she's driving the same direction as me; her car is right behind me. I change lanes and slow down so I'm next to her, and then motion her to pull over. We pull into a parking lot that looks like it belongs to a hospital (there's ambulances and shit, but no hospital in sight).

I get out and walk straight to her car like I'm on a mission. She asks me some bullshit question like “Why'd you pull me over” as I get to her car, which I ignore and promptly re-initiate tongue down. After a while of this, I try to pull her to an alleyway (we're in the middle of bum-fuck nowhere, there's literally no other place to pull her). She's not having it, and I have other shit to do so I leave. I never really hit her up too much after that.

I've been sleeping in my car. Needless to say, the following text excites me:

Homeless Shelter: Hey guess what? I'm gonna have my apartment to myself for a week.

FUCK YEAH. Off the streets for a solid week? I'll take that. Time to go fuck for housing. Hope that doesn't make me a whore. I'll finish up this report after I see how the evening unravels. Don't want to think too far ahead of myself.

Honestly, the fact that I MIGHT have housing for the next week gives me anxiety over the outcome, whereas I don't feel any outcome dependency based off of her. Time to go pimp it up. Peace.

I chose PUA training as I heard a lot of good stuff on Gambler on-line.

I turned up at the venue 20 minutes early and bumped in to another guy who was waiting called Matej from Slovenia. We ended up becoming good friends and still keep in contact, all so with a couple of the others from the camp and talk game.

The first half of the day was taken up by lectures on your own body language-how you stand and project yourself. Openers-direct and opinion. Night game and building repore. This was done by a PUA called Alex a geeky student turned PUA trainer witch was all really good stuff, he would be taking us through most of the bootcamp. Then came the practical all important 'day game'. This was the bit we were all looking forward to but at the same time dreading it...

Before we went out we were introduced to the PUA instructors who would be taking us out. One of them was Olli a London fashion model who was their longest serving member (apart from Gambler himself) and their fashion expert (who the next day ripped in to me on my fashion during his lecture, more on that later). When we were getting paired off, Olli straight away pointed at me and said "Il take him!" I think this was because most of the group bar me and another guy were fairly geeky and could tell I worked out so new we'd get on.

The first three approaches were a disaster! The first HB9 my nerves got the better of me and after opening I got brain freeze and couldnt think of a word to say so just walked off. The second HB7 and third HB8 I couldnt really help as the girls couldnt speak much english, what can I say I like exotic looking women! The fourth HB10 was a girl called Lilly a blond 22 year old from Italy who worked in fashion. We got on great and I number closed witch really gave a good boost, I never phoned her as she was only here for two days and I was just practicing day game.

We then went back and went though more theory with a couple other PUAs on repore and then how to break repore with sexual tension, verbal word games, teasing, play fighting and a couple of bar games witch I like to use ;)

Now it was time for the 'night game'. The pairs were switched around but again Olli asked for me as we got on well in day game, so I went back to the hotel to change in to my going out rags (whitch were later ripped into by Olli)

We turned up at the club around 8, so wasnt that busy and only had HB5 and 6s there max. This didnt stop the trainers from getting us to open them, it was none stop. The first few didnt go that well but as the night went on I got more confidant and in total got 6 number closes.

The next day was more theory by a few different PUAs a couple of witch I had seen on youtube. This was on building confidence, follow up game and social building. We also done more day game witch I done as well as I could but didnt have long out. We also found it hard to find any decent girls who werent with their bfs, then back to more theory on escelation and keno zone witch again was really good stuff and fashion. This was when Olli had me stand up in front of everyone and comletely ripped into my fashion sense, but to be fair it was very poor. I have since been back to London sopping with Olli and now iv got rid of the skate shoes and billabong hoodys and now im looking fashionable and up to date.

So in all I think the bootcamp is well worth it if you need some help starting off. It gave me an insight into the game and told me what I need to do to improve. Only thing I was disappointed in was that I was expecting at leased one of the lectures to be done by Gambler himself but we didnt get to meet him.

I'm fairly new to this game, but I have studied several books on how to game women, and there is so much great material out there, so I feel pretty comfortable within this area. One thing I still lack though, is the understanding on how to deal with other guys, and how to "achieve" their approval. Don't get me wrong (I know the title might seem a bit misleading), but I don't wan't to learn how to hit on other guys. What I seek is some material about how to get friends, without making them percieve me as the beta kind-of-guy.

I have never had problems getting some friends, but I tend to position myself as the beta male, no matter what I do. If I try taking the lead and initiate conversations with new friends, it doesn't take long before I come of as "needy" (it feels like I desperately try to make new friends). On the other hand, if I try act like the "laid back"-type-of-guy, who doesn't need to initiate conversations, I feel like I come of as a shy loner instead... And I know the basics about how to use my body language, but obviously I must be doing something wrong.

So my question is:

Does any of you have some suggestions concerning material on how to deal with other GUYS/making friends without being percieved as a beta male?

I've been researching the area myself and found the following material:
- "How to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie

The problems with these, are that "How to win friends and influence people" seem to recommend being a "nice guy", which haven't worked really well for me so far. Otherwise I have been looking at "Secrets of the Alpha male" by Carlos Xuma, and some of the books by Robert Greene about the laws and strategies of power and war, but I'm not sure these books are exactly what I'm looking for, as I wan't some practical material on how to deal with other guys.

We met up on Sunday night on a sort of double date. My mate had arranged to go to a movie with the girl he is seeing and lo and behold his girl invited DG and my friend invited me. Ended up seeing “Safehouse.”
I texted her on Mon and we arranged to meet up for drinks on Wed night.
My plan was basically to start talking about sex and ramping up the conversation whilst we drank. We met at 8pm and at around 10:30 I felt that the time was right to bounce. (We had kissed by then and I conversation was interesting to say the least) I told her to come back to my place to watch the original Karate Kid. She was putting up LMR but I plowed on, telling her how to get to my place and that I’ve got the world’s fattest cat that she has to see.
She gave me a little more LMR. I just discounted it and assumed she was coming back to my place, saying “see you soon. See if you can get there before me.”
50/50 gamble. But it worked
I arrived first. 2 minutes later she pulls in.
I put on the DVD, give her some green tea, which she doesn’t drink, get pillows and my duvet and snuggle up to her on the couch. I feign sleep, as she tickles me, my head on her shoulder. I kiss her lightly on the arm every once in a while. She gives me a few tender kisses on my face.
Then I look up into her eyes and we kiss fully. I take her top off. (A little LMR) but she puts her hands up as I slip her top off over her head. I take off her bra.
We kiss some more. I try to get her pants off. No ways. Big LMR. I take a step back going back to kissing her. I try for the pants again. No ways - more LMR. Her pants are denim with elastic waste instead of button and zipper. I role her over
Kiss her back and move down, pull the pants down from behind and kiss the top of her butt. She really likes that. I roll her back around. This time she lets me pull the pants down from the front and I go down on her. Then she submits. She is putty in my hands and lets me take her. I take her pants off completely, take her hand and lead her back to my room.
She is a nice girl. I plan on seeing more of her.
I had another date tonight with a girl I met on Sat. Our bbms are intense and she has sent me a few really good looking photos, but I’ve moved it either to Sun or Tue for various reason.

It isn't unethical yet for she and I to meet up, how do I best bring this up? I'm not implying she is "the girl for me"; but i'd like to maybe grab coffee with her or play tennis. She played in college and I'm a good player. She knows vulnerable things about me so I'm not expecting anything but wanted to give it a shot. Well, continuing on that.Right when I was pissed with that girl, I decided check other fish on the sea, hell... mermaids!

Long read but interesting.

I was going out with my female friends like I said in the other post, and then one of them had a birthday party.

It was one of those funny situations where all of them get into the phone at the same time complaining "why aren't you here yet? come on!" So I did.

Arriving there, I met this new girl, a new great friend of them that joined the circle while I was months away because of work. The girl was kind of looking funny at me, and not such in a good way, but I didn't really care. I was too busy socializing with everyone at the party. A bunch of dudes I've never seen were there, and they all knew each other, I had to do something about it. With very little time, I was controlling the party, pretty much everyone was talking to me. Even though this girl I just mentioned still kept a reasonable distance, even after I played with her a little.

Now is where it comes the interesting part.

I got to talk with this girl, the following day, with none of the girls or guys around. Casually showing up at the store she works at, acting like a client.

I totally got her interested, IOIs were thrown left and right, but still something was wrong and I wasn't sure of what it was. Later on, we were chatting on the internet, and she let it slip that one of the girls, the one she was friends with first, is the one that was jealous of me, (but this jealous girl never really thought that one day I'd meet this new one, so she told her many things about me, how much she liked, how sex was, made relationship jokes and such)

For the sake of the story let's name the girls' initials
F (19) -> is like the alpha female of the group. Hot, smart, the party was hers, and pretty much controls the other girls. She's awesome, I'm not with her because we'd definetly wouldn't work out well together in a long time relationship. She even helps me picking up women. OK, so L was treating me like I was G's boyfriend. The thing is G acted like that, but behind my back she's one of those girls that easily fall for a dude. She was secrety crazy about me, but always denied to me. F would tell me everyday to watch out because G was OBSESSED with me.

So Y called us saying she'd sing at some popular place, inviting me and the other girls. L asked ME, not the other girls to save her a seat because she was gonna get a a few minutes later. F immediately pulled my leg saying L wanted me.

So I played alfa male as soon as we arrived, I moved the tables at the fancy bar-like place, so that we could get closer to Y singing, became friends with the waiters (always do this, your table will be well served)

We had great fun that night, whenever I was talking to L, F would give me that "you're into each other look" and laugh at us, teasing and provoking. Quickly L became drunk. I mean VERY drunk. And since I'm the only dude in the group, I usually have to take all the girls home when they don't score. L lives the closest one to me, which means the opposite side of the city from the other 3 girls.

But L was REALLY drunk. It was funny even, not in the embarassing way, until she started crying because of an ex, when Y "sang their song".

So the girls hug each other, you know the drill, then she became all giggly and "I love you guys" again. After taking them all home, was time to take L. By then she was in that "I wanna sleep" drunkness stage. So I was shaking her, talking, playing to keep her up.

And while F was on my back, G was busy with the other dude, trying to climb on his back, I was making out with L. Yes, with F on my back. we all still played around, but there were no one to hide from, L and I would kiss in front of everyone. I'd still help them reject unwanted guys, and meet others.

Until... It became official that L and I were on a serious relationship.

Now F... I've never seen her like that. She opened her eyes like she had seen a ghost or something. Then whispered "are you on drugs or something? Nevermind!" She's a lot more quiet now, doesn't make jokes about us, and stuff like that.

As far as I can tell, Now I live in another city pretty far, so I see them only on weekends, like weekends 3 times a month or on holidays.

This outsourcing, however, has made me more dependent on friends for the initial approach (duhhh) and for the ensuing group conversation, while making me far less self-assured when alone--this part is really bad.

For more helpful advice, I will divide women and their behavior across three divisions. In the first are women who stare constantly, and with this type I have no problem approaching or closing the deal. My problem with these women is that they are, for a lack of a better word, subpar and they have rarely led to more than a one night 'explosion'.

In the second division fall women who give fleeting glances. These women are most often not alone (as they are sufficiently confident to glance while highly guarded against being labeled by their friends). Advice on how to approach women in this 'division' would serve me best. It would also be great if you let me know whether the advice works whether they are alone or not.

Lastly, in the third division, fall those who are simply minding their own business. This is also a segment I would love to reach so advice for this group would also come in handy.

A little about me: Appearance: very confident (although I have yet to learn how to walk away gracefully from a rejection), well dressed, and extremely good at humor. I am also extremely empathetic (it's an actual disease), and this trait leads to my noticing of extremely small body signals (much more than I would like, but I can't change this), and an endless array of body-signal interpretations. (this last trait also has the (significant) potential to affect self-confidence, and tips on this would be come in handy).

One more need :). I am not good at new conversations, at all. My MO is: a few initial getting to know you jokes, followed by a reading (and likely discussion) of their body language and by a few context and conversation specific jokes.

This is my first public field report. I'm open to critique on both the content & the presentation. Lay into me, homies.

I feel like TD right now, writing this on 0 hours of sleep. I've been awake for I think around 2 days now. This is partially due to choice and partially due to the fact that I'm homeless and living out of my car (not comfortable). I haven't showered in 2 or 3 days and I've even been wearing the same clothes. From a traditional dating frame, pretty much everything about me this weekend screams "deal breaker". And, while I like to think that my reality is strong, I arrive for the last day of bootcamp with excuses in my head and reasons why I won't pull, why I shouldn't even open.

Before going out for some day game at H&H, Vince performs hypnosis on us as a group. This was the first time I've had an experience like this, and it was fucking crazy. I plan on learning out a lot more about hypnosis and NLP as vehicles for self-improvement. Anyways, Vince brings us back-to, and I'm suddenly feeling on fire, ready to go infield and fuck shit up. We pile into the cars and dip out.

As soon as I get to H&H, I regress back into total chode mode. I think that this is because I was making an intentional effort to game in a lethargic state, as opposed to my usual method of getting "In State", as per Speer's recommendation. I've never done this before, and it took several approaches to commit to what I was doing and get my calibration straight. Finally, I started to hook sets, and let them go, then hook sets and number close, and eventually hook sets and kiss close. Ironically, this shit actually got me into state. I was so excited because of my paradigm-shift realization: You DON'T need to be the most energetic guy around in order to attract women. In fact, I actually found that my low-key, tired approaches often had a more powerful effect in hooking. It's just totally fucking genuine and that rocks her world.

One notable girl that I # closed during day game (She'll come up again later around 6:00 AM). I saw this girl (We'll call her Hard Rocker) sitting outside the American Eagle on Hollywood Boulevard, texting on her iPhone and smoking a cigarette. I opened like "I can tell you're busy texting, but I just had to come say hi because I thought you were super cute". It opened like butter and I sat down and engaged her in conversation. It was pretty balanced conversation; I'm starting to get the hang of leaning back and letting the woman invest. I also find that I don't really look for IOI's anymore or try to "ping" off of the girl, I just do my thing and let the chips fall, boi! ANYWAYS, turns out she's working at the AM Eagle, and is out on a smoke break. I number close her and she tells me to meet her at the hard rock later. I tell her I will, but in my head I'm like FUCK no, I want to sleep (which, as you'll see, doesn't end up happening. Still awake right now, 24 hours later) because I was dead tired. She goes back to work and we dip out.

8 PM

Debriefing at the house. I'm ready to go “home” (Subaru Forester, 2006) and sleep. On my way out, I open Ace with Who Lies More (I kid, I kid!) and asked him what day he wanted to get out this week. He's all like, lets get out TONIGHT. I'm feeling sleepy, but I am on a fucking MISSION to get my game ON LOCK and become an approach coach and eventually a trainer as soon as possible. All or nothing. So I tell him I'm in. Josiah, a dope dude from Vegas (also training to become a coach) decides to join us.
Long story short, we hit up the Roosevelt and close some numbers. Some of the sets were goofy as fuck. I always love the sets where you and your wing just leave the set busting out laughing.

We decide not to try to pull from the Roosevelt; I have two girls coming over to Project Hollywood later (a day-2 that I met at The Darkroom on Melrose, and her friend who I haven't met) so I figure I can f-close on my day-2 and Josiah can pull the friend. While we're headed back to the crib, I start texting with Hard Rocker from H&H.

Me and Josiah in the car:

Me: Dude... I don't really give a fuck what happens tonight... this Hard Rocker chick wants to come over. Should we try and close all three of them together, and risk fucking it all up?

Jossiah: Your call dude. It's your girls. I really don't care.

Me: Fuck it, go hard or go home, lets do this shit.


So I invite hard rocker too. Me and Josiah meet up with my day two (I call her Ke$ha) and her friend outside Project Hollywood and walk down to Mel's together, where my homeless, broke self mooches off of all parties (mad props to Josiah for letting me crash in his room. If you're reading this, Josiah, I love you).

Hard Rocker texts me and is all like “I have work at 8, I'm just going to sleep. Let's hang out tomorrow!” I ignore.

We pull back to the crib, take em outside (“you gotta check out the view! Here's where Mystery used to pitch his tent.”) and split up. I have to deal with a bit of LMR (very minimal shit tests to see if I flipped a bitch, which apparently I didn't) and before I know it me and my chica are doing the nasty in the bathroom.

When we get done, all four of us go for a smoke on the porch, and the ladies leave. It's probably between 4 - 5 AM at this point, so Josiah beds down. He's got the long drive back to Vegas in the morning.

I have work in the morning too, at 9. I'm in film. I'm decide to drive to the location that we'll be shooting at and sleep there, so I can just pop out of my car and get to work in the morning. But I can't fall asleep, so I start texting Hard Rocker. I invite myself over to her place, and ask her what her address is. She's like “It would be very disrespectful to my mother to disregard the advice she gave me about strangers. I only met you like 9 hours ago! Your persistence is cute though :P” or some such bullshit. I call her, and talk to her about a whole bunch of random shit. I free-style some funny stories to build comfort and whatnot. After about 4 – 5 minutes of this, she straight up volunteers her address and tells me to come over for coffee. I'm like, this shit is too easy.

BUT...
When I get there, it is not at all what I expected. The vibe I got from her was that she wanted to mess around. When I showed up (at around 6), her room mates we're sleeping in the other room. I think that I should have just continued as I normally would have in any other pickup, relocating her and physically escalating, but something about the surprise over the fact that she had roommates (it seemed to me that she lived alone) threw me off and I had trouble recovering. We hung out for 2 hours or so, with super minor (mostly playful) physicality, and then she went to her job and I went to mine. In retrospect, I should have escalated harder, should have bounced her around the apptmnt complex more, etc.

The biggest lessons I learned from this day of gaming:
1. There is never an excuse not to pull. You can be smelly, dirty, homeless, and sleep deprived and still pull. No excuses.
2. It is not necessary to be “in state”. Just be congruent with what you are feeling at the time, and pull them into your world. Relate to them as a human who has a vast range of emotions, rather than just a state robot.
3. Throw yourself into set. Fuck it up. It does not matter.
4. Logistics of a pull are super important, especially when living in a house with multiple people (many of which are simultaneous pulling as well).
5. It's never too late for crazy shit to go down. Keep an open mind and an open calendar, and let the vagina come to you.

Is it possible to be a terrible texter?
Every time we meet in person though, her body language seems very interesting, she looks directly at my face, and faces me in the eyes and then at my mouth. I stand in the open position and give her false time constraints, and she continues to talk. She tells me, though she is a graduating senior who is moving on with life, and I am a Junior. I am going AFC on this girl, and I wonder if there is anywhere I can go. I am going over to study with her roommate and she will probably be there as well. Would this be inapropriate to ask her out.

I've heard mixed theories about how long to wait to text, but I"m of the school of thought that you should text the same day to keep you 'fresh' in their head. I texted her, and we wrote a few messages back and forth, and the mojo was pretty good. Her last message didn't require a response, so I didnt' text back. I dont' think I've screwed anything up, but I'm going to post our conversation on here. Please give me any advice/comments on how I played my part, as well as advice when the next best time to hit her up again would be, and how you would do so. Thanks for the advice.

Through an onlinedating site I met a nice women. She had no pic uploaded (I had) but the profile was cool so I took the chance. After a couple of messages I was like "wow". Then she offered me to share Facebook profiles. Well, it doesn't get much better than this...we wrote facebook messages about once per day until we finally met 2 weeks later. Up to this point it was just a nice contact, but in our date she completely swept me off my feet.

To my surprise she greeted me with a kiss on the cheek telling me I was smelling good, she physically teased me a couple of times, she was smiling at me like all night, she was interested in what I was doing in work etc... However I was somewhat passive, even when we had a walk after dinner I couldnt overcome my shyness to take her hand or something. Obviously I also didnt kiss her when we said goodbye even though I saw all the signs and knew she wouldnt reject it. I only acted "correctly" once, when she told me in the middle of the conversation that she felt warm and touched her cheek, I also did and confirmed (in fact it was true lol). Besides the fact that I'm an idiot, do you think that my behaviour scared her off or should I assume that she really likes me and maybe even finds my shyness "interesting"? While she agreed on seeing me again (before the failed goodbye where I briefly hugged her), I just feel that she expected more and might think that I'm asexual/nerd/not interested.

After that night I wrote her on facebook again and thanked her for the nice evening. Reply took 2 days.I know she is busy with exams and I saw that she didnt login to the onlinedating site either. However, the day she replied me, she did login there too. So...what's the deal? did I fail or will I get a 2nd chance on the 2nd date? Or would she just meet with me again on a "friend" basis (no romantic intention)

I said I had to go and she was going "No please don't go" I spoke for another 2 mins just because i felt bad i didn't want to carry on the chat for long as I didn't want to end up in the friend zone so I left with a message saying to her to just chill clear her mind and the next time I go for some coffee she can come keep me company.

When I came on facebook today I noticed she didn't say yes/no to the coffee... or to the message i left guess she was just a bit upset for it, so I started talking today asking if she was feeling better. She said yes and she said i am so unsupportive (because i signed off facebook yesterday when she was asking me to stay) i ignored it, me and her talked for a bit I was teasing her to buy me a car with nitros and a pack of redbull and we had a little laugh. I said i have to go then and left asking her for her number. I checked my hotmail box today and saw her reply and she did indeed leave me her number.

But I do not know whether I should ask her out to a date yet or if i should wait a while?

What should I do? And how should I exactly proceed from here?

...here's the PROBLEM and this has existed for as long as I can remember.

Getting into a relationship is very hard for me, especially with the people I have known for a while. I still don't think its a friend zone issue but many women that I want to date, are addicted to me, but it not in a relationship way, but more of a have fun type of way. When i enter a party, I always have women rushing towards me yelling my name (guys too lol no homo) but when it comes to a relationship time, it doesnt seem they are interested.

basically this is the situation: this is a girl that studies with me, we schedueled to study together, but i made a mistake of asking her if we can do also more than study, and see each other not just for studies. she looked at me with an embarrased look and said "lets talk later" and she said she will call me this sunday about studying together.

she didnt. for me? thats a clear IOD and i was about to give up.

but today in the class, i saw many IOIs from her. she laughed at my jokes (even the ones that werent that funny) she talked to her friend and giggled and i even heard her say "he makes me laugh", she started conversations with me and even asked about my personal life and hobbies. clear IOIs.

we schedueled to study together tomorrow, and i told her to call me and say if its going to happen or not, and she said "yeah ok i'll call you" but she sounded cynical, and to be honest i don't see it happening, just like the last time she said she would call and she didn't.

One of my buddies introduced me to "The Game" a couple of years ago, then it never struck a chord with me. I also thought I didn't have any problems when it comes to meeting women back then either.

Just to paint a picture -
I'm a good looking, fit guy, 20 years old. I have killer style, I'm a Sales Consultant at a high-end shoe store downtown Vancouver, I do a bit of personal shopping for some of my clients. I'm told by pretty much everyone I meet that I am mature for my age. I'm setup with a nice place downtown. I'm waiting on applications to UBC & SFU. I've never had a steady girlfriend, but a lot of extended flings, almost all of them being girls I have worked with or been in some sort of social day environment with. Talking to and getting to new people normally isn't a problem at all, hence my job. But just the other day I realized that I have problems approaching women, in certain situations.

Last Thursday, I went out to club here in Vancouver called Mirage. Thursday's there are basically cheap student nights, $3 beer & $2 shots, no cover. I had heard nothing but good things about the place from my friends. A buddy of mine was down to go out, he had been raving about the place for months. We got there, and I became too chickensh1t to approach any women, I decided to get hammered and relax a bit. After calming my nerves, I went to the dancefloor, and within a couple minutes it turned into a good nite. I ended up danced with bunch of different girls, I even had one girl literally grab me and pulled me away from the girl I was dancing with so she could have me. Problem was, I could dance and whatever but really couldn't strike up a conversation at all. The nite ended with me being drunk mess, and making an ass of myself after approaching a girl that I used to go to high school with. I felt sh1tty about it because it I felt like I let down my wing, I ended up just being a downer for most of the nite.

The next day I thought about the whole situation, tried to figure out what my problem was. I just really don't know how to strike up with a complete stranger, who is obviously attractive. Maybe there is a bit of pedestal problem there that can be easily taken care of, but I'm not sure on how to introduce myself, and then develop some sort of repoire. I wouldn't call this a confidence issue, I am happy with myself except in this one department. I just don't know where to start I guess.

Any and all suggestions, reading material, coaching is appreciated.
I want to take on this challenge head-on.

I'm 23M/she's 21F. Had really fun first two dates with this girl, a coworker. Movies/cafe, and then went for dinner the 2nd time. She kind of initiated the first date when she asked me if I've seen the movie Beauty and the Beast (which is as random as it gets for me) since I didn't even know it came out. Asked her out the next day to see it, she says yes. Had a great time, with lots of laughs. A couple weeks later (Feb 7) we went for dinner and again, had a great time as it was a restaurant she's been hearing good things about. One thing I noticed though, she didn't want to be kissed on the lips afterwards. She said she wanted to be kissed on the cheeks, so I just went with it, then she kissed me as well. Oh well...

So I set up our next date for that weekend but I got sick, and actually thought it was too soon to see her. So I cancelled it the day before, told her I was sick (I was). I then asked her if she's available the next weekend (Feb 16/17), she said she'd let me know. Next time I saw her at work, I asked her what her schedule was and she says she's working the 16th so she asked me to if we could do 17th or 18th because it was her friend's bday, which they're not sure when they were doing. She says she'd let me know. I said OK. So Thursday (Feb 16) I asked her if they figured out when she's hanging out with friends, she says they're doing the bday on the 18th, so I assumed we're hanging out on the 17th. "Oh, OK... so are you good for tomorrow then?" She just says "Maybe..." in a slow voice without stating any reason.

I said "disappointing" in a joking way. She says "maybe we could do Sunday then?" I just said sure...

Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but I didn't make any plans this weekend because I thought we were hanging out and that if she wasn't sure or feeling under the weather, she'd at least let me know ahead of time. Instead of me having to ask her all the time, having to confirm stuff.

It's amazing though how sometimes at work, she doesn't show any signs of disinterest and was actually really concerned when I was sick.

My main issues are:
1. Things to talk about when I see her again. Last time we talked, she was really shy and it was up to me to keep the conversation going. According to what I've read about shy girls, this is to be expected.
2. Getting a date with her outside the gym.

Last week was the first time we talked to each other. We were among the last people at the gym and we ended up opening each other at the same time. Prior to this, we had never talked to each other. All we've done before was smile as we passed each other and she would always look down; this is where I picked up that she was somewhat shy. When we opened each other, I was pointing out that she had something in her hair (truth) and she opened by asking me where I got the trx band I was using. I showed her where to get the band and we talked for a few minutes after that.

What we talked about was basic small talk. I asked what she was working on, she told me about having some problems with her shoulder, etc. We continued doing our own workouts and ended up next to each other as we were doing stretches before leaving. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw her turn around to look at me as she got up to leave, but she quickly turned around since I wasn't looking at her. She left without saying anything which I'm attributing to her shyness.

The next time I see her. I'm thinking I can just approach her, ask her how her shoulder is doing, initiate some kino, and finally get her name. After that though, I'm not sure what to talk about. Also, any ideas on how to set up a date with this girl?

I've noticed a lot of fresh faces asking the same thing when they introduce themselves: I'm bad with women and want to improve in that area. Where do I start?

You start by making changes within yourself. Don't worry, you don't have to become some macho guy. These changes will allow you to keep most of your personality. They're supposed to give you a confidence boost as well as some attractive traits that you'd like to have. Trust me. For example, being able to say 'no' to women will not only make you more attractive to them, but will also make sure you won't have to spend the evening doing something you don't want to. Something you can do while making alpha male changes within yourself is to work on your clothing. You're all here to enrich your life by learning how to attract and seduce women. This can be done in multiple ways. Most gurus have a style that differs from one another. The main two differences are time and manner. For time there is day game and night game. For manner there is direct and indirect.

Direct means you approach a woman and open by declaring interest. For example 'Hi, I thought you looked really cute so I came over to talk to you'.

Indirect means you approach a woman by asking her something like an opinion. The idea is to engage in a conversation and make them attracted to you before you declare interest in them.

Direct game takes more balls and it prevents a lot of headache. She knows why you're talking to her and either she's interested or she's not. No friend zone problems there when used properly. Using indirect game, you will be able to demonstrate higher value (DHV) before declaring interest, increasing your odds of getting the girl.

The difference between day (stores, street, etc.) and night (bars, clubs) is the pace of the game. Where a good PUA can kiss a girl within minutes at night, it takes longer during the day. Also, bitch shields are down during the day and the social dynamics are different.

Here are some terms you should know about:
IOI: Indicator of interest. These are signs a woman shows to let you know she's attracted to you.
Opener: The line you say when making the first contact to a woman. The delivery is more important than the words.
Kino: Touching a woman. Ranges from shaking hands to sexual handling.
Number close (N-close): To get the girl's phone number.
Fark close (F-close): To have sex with a woman.
Kiss close (K-close): To kiss the woman.



One more note: The most important difference between PUA's and players is the fact that we don't lie to or cheat on women. You can only lose women and respect by breaking that difference, so don't do it.
