Yorkshire-based rockers The Chevin are excited to release their newest music video for their newest single "Drive." Directed by Tyler Oliver (Feature film "Forget Me Not", The Bravery video "Unconditional"), the video is a post-modern tour de force, dripping in nostalgia with vintage footage of marching bands and classic cars juxtaposed with plenty of colorful electric light effects, with plenty of jittery editing. The overall effect is positively disorienting, but the music of "Drive" keeps the viewer grounded even as the voice of lead singer Coyle Girelli reaches soaring heights typically reserved for Roy Orbison or a young Bono.

In anticipation of their June 12th record release Hello Hum on Capitol Records/EMI, award-winning rock band Wintersleep present their first video for the song "In Came The Flood." Director Sean Wainsteim had the band perform while gliding through an atmospheric space (like they were sliders on a sound board) past stoic individuals lit by rhythmic, pulsing lights. The video for "In Came The Flood" was inspired by the distinct look of old live multi-camera television musical performances from the 70's and 80's. Technically, the video production presented a number of challenges; the band played while balancing on small platforms pulled along the up to 80 foot-long beams. The old lights used were operated and dimmed by many, many hands on ancient dimmer systems. Distortion was hand adjusted in post production and was inspired by what was happening musically in the song.

Alabama metal powerhouse MyChildren MyBride are excited to share their stunning new video for "God of Nothing," one of the standout tracks from the band's recently released self-titled album. "We chose 'God of Nothing' as our premiere video because we feel like it encompasses all aspects of our band, new and old," says MCMB frontman Matthew Hasting. "Fans of metal, hardcore, and nu-metal can all find a part of the song they can really get into! Plus it's one of our favorite, more experimental songs from the self-titled release!" Produced by Jimmie Myers (Underoath, August Burns Red), the darkly powerful clip finds the band giving a savage performance while doused in black latex paint that, Hasting assures, is much more fun to look at than it was to wear.

A newly released video for the group’s next single "Whose Life (Is It Anyway?)" can be seen now; check it out above. The video is a heavy metal tour de force, depicting youth angst turned violent, resulting in an apocalyptic finale.

New York cyberpunks Pop. 1280 recently premiered their new video for "Bodies In The Dunes," their latest single. The video was directed by Jacqueline Castel, a hyper-talented director who makes tense, kinetic work under her Future Primitive production house. Castel's videos are stark and confrontational-she's created incredible work for Zola Jesus, Naked On The Vague, Blank Dogs, and a bunch of other pretty bleak and downbeat acts. The video is not for the faint of heart-it was based loosely on a Long Island serial killer who was responsible for murdering four prostitutes in cold blood and dumping their bodies in "heavy underbrush along a beachfront causeway."

The songs shift musical gears effortlessly, and recall the best songwriting of Blur, Supergrass, and The Manics, all the while maintaining the drive and power of the Foo Fighters; clearly demonstrating a truly unique talent. The much-anticipated video from Canadian melodic metal five-piece Unleash the Archers was released to the public today and can be viewed above. "General of the Dark Army" is the second music video from the band’s 2011 album, Demons of the AstroWaste, and was released after an initial appeal for $1900 in fan funding raised over $2600. The pledges helped to cover the costs of production and to bring in the vision of director Richard Olak (of indie cult film ‘The Battle of Burgledorf’); donors received perks such as free premiere tickets and music lessons. "This has been a whirlwind, that's for sure," says vocalist Brittney Hayes. "Thanks to the support of tons of amazing fans we were able to make this video far more epic than the last. Getting to watch the General come to life was phenomenal, and mind blowing actually. I've had this vision of him ever since I wrote the song... And I think we got really close, as close as an indie band could ever get to realizing that vision."
