I was very intrigued by this video by Semiconductor films while i was looking around Boing Boing.  Black Rain was a piece composed of raw satellite data that has not been cleaned up for general viewing.  The faults are what create the beauty here.  Do not watch this video if you have eaten 1/8th Ounce or more of hallucinogenic mushrooms in the last few hours. Please go to the Semiconductor films website and learn more about the images used in the film.  The story is fairly complex.  The site is full of great video art.

Biggest douche bag ever???  Possibly.  This reminds me of how in any business you should be selective about who you take advice from.  People who use catchy phrasing and pitches to give you career advice are out there to help themselves, not help you.

A business card is such a small aspect of your business that is really becoming less and less important in today’s world of electronic media.

“This business card does not fit in a Rolodex because it does not belong in a Rolodex!”

ANSWER: Yeah buddy, it goes in the trash like the rest of the business cards idiot.

Apparently while I was gone Push A Pixel was ranked as one of the top 90 Design Blogs on the internet. Pushapixel was ranked #57!  This was calcualted by Alex and pointed out by Reuben Miller Thanks Reuben!

One thing I noticed was the excessive amount of inbound links.  It turned out many of these links were people Leeching images from my server.
While planning my evil revenge the first person I though of was Jason at GorillaSushi.com and his weekly photo caption contest.  Him and I conspired plots and Jason used his uncanny photo editing skills to unleash the ultimate lesson in web etiquette to bloggers!
As you may know it is considered bad practice to put images on your site that are hosted on another website’s server.

1. It is rude- You are using someone elses bandwidth and not paying.
2. You leave yourself vulnerable to victimization by the original Publisher (me in this case).

After a very long break from bloggin I have decided it is about time to come back and start exposing new art!  i feel refreshed after not blogging for such a long time and am eager to do several new things for the site:

1. A complete redesign.
2. More interviews,
3. More events in my new hometown of Seattle.
