Konami has published a comprehensive deep dive into the gameplay of upcoming PS5 survival horror game, Silent Hill: Townfall.

Across 19 minutes of footage, the opening sequence is revealed alongside protagonist Simon's first steps into the fog-covered Scottish town of St. Amelia. It then introduces the new CRTV device, gets into a bit of exploration, and then the video concludes with some combat. There's even a tease of the Otherworld at the end, as St. Amelia transforms into something entirely different.

A new Bloomberg report claims that Sony has decided to scale back the new Horizon live service title, Horizon Hunters Gathering, by removing the live service elements.

Following poor feedback from players during private tests, it's reported developer Guerrilla Games has been rebooting the project since June. It plans to take out the live service features and turn the game into a far more traditional co-op multiplayer experience with a story mode. The scope of the game has shrunk considerably as a result, it's claimed.

Anyone who wants to own Control Resonant on a physical PS5 disc will have to wait a couple of weeks after the game's main launch, as boxed copies have been delayed into mid-October 2026.
