Telegram is Bringing Animated Emojis to The App

Are you a Telegram app user? Do you like animated emojis? Here is some good and bad news. Telegram is rolling out a new future for the app user. The feature will help users to send animated emojis to each other.

I know it is not free. You can access the new feature after you pay a $4.99 in-app purchase.

Here is the fun part, the new feature is only available on Android phones but not on iPhones. Why?

Apple asked the Telegram team to remove the feature because it mimics IOS’s animated emojis.

Telegram’s CEO said that Apple has opposed the “higher quality vector-animated versions of the standard emoji.”

According to Durov, Telemoji “would have brought an entire new dimension”

اعلنت جامعة ميريلاند عن نجاح اول عملية جراحية تمت بنقل قلب خنزير معدل وراثيا لمريض قلب

المريض ديفيد بينيت ويبلغ من العمر ٥٧ عاما كان قد أعلن عدم صلاحيتة لعملبة زراعة قلب تقليدية. وكانت هذه فرصتة الأخيرة لعملية جراحية وذالك من خلال استخدام قلب خنزير معدل وراثيا

وكانت ادارة الغذاء والدواء قد اتخذت قرار طارئ بالسماح بالعملية كإجراء اخير ووحيد

وبعد انتهاء العملية لم تسجل اي عملية رفض للقلب الجديد في جسم المريض

وقال باحثون إن العملية ستفتح الباب لعمليات زرع قلب مستقبلية. وان هناك تعديلات وراثية محتملة ليكون القلوب المنقولة مستقبلا يتناسب وشريحة اكبر من الناس

After Poverty, She Found More than $60,000 in her Bank Account

In Jordan, a Pakistani lady in her seventies who lived in the country suffering poverty found out that she was not very poor after all.

Athra Khan was a nurse who moved to Jordan back in the seventies to help the Jordanian army. Athra decided to stay in Jordan after she accomplished her mission. Since then, She lived in Jordan and flipped a couple of jobs until finally, she decided to retire.

In 2008 she visited social security and applied for retirement, but she never heard back, neither from the social security nor from her bank.

Athra, in her seventies, suffered poverty since 2008. Today, she found out that her retirement fund was approved, and there are more than $60,000 in her bank account.

اوميكرون يتفشى في أوروبا

حذرت منظمة الصحة العالمية ان مرضى اوميكرون تضاعفوا في خلال اسبوعين. وان القارة الاوروبية سجلت سبع ملايين حالة اصابة جديدة باوميكرون منذ بداية العام الجديد. وتتوقع المنظمة باصابة نصف القارة الاوروبية باوميكرون اذا استمرت الإصابات على النحو الحالي.

اما في الكويت رصدت وزارة الصحة اكثر من أربعة آلاف اصابة جديد بكورونا في خلال اربع وعشرين ساعة

وفي الاثناء تتخذ السلطات الكويتية إجراءات احترازية لمنع تفشي الوباء

ومن اهم الاجراءات :

فحص سالب للإصابة بكورونا قبل الدخول للبلاد يستثنى الكويتيين

تقييد الحضور للعاملين في الجهات الحكومية بخمسين بالمئة

Kuwaitis can Travel Back with Positive PCR Tests

Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation announced Kuwaitis can travel back to Kuwait even if they are Covid-19 positive. Don’t get this ruling confused because this decision will not include expats. Expats need to travel back to Kuwait carrying negative PCR tests within 72 hours.

The new directive is asking Kuwaitis to carry a positive PCR test that is 7-30 days if vaccinated and 10-30 if unvaccinated. You can travel on your 8th day if vaccinated and on your 11th day if unvaccinated after being sick.

This new ruling is available only for people flying with Kuwaits’ national carriers(Kuwait and Al Jazeera Airways.)
